“I’m A Holocaust survivor,” says Stephen Jacobs, and he asserts that “Trump’s America feels like Germany before Nazis took over.”
Using the sufferings of over six million Jews from the Holocaust to malign the President of the United States is disconcerting. One has on the one hand a sense of empathy and sorrow about Jacobs having to endure what he did at the hands of Nazis. On the other hand, his claim that Donald Trump has emboldened an “inflammatory and nationalist campaign” that reminds him of of the days right before the Nazi takeover is not only ridiculously unfounded, but it distracts from the urgent threat of the global jihad.
White supremacists undeniably exist, but the ongoing brutality and suffering inflicted upon innocent people worldwide by jihadists and Islamic supremacists, and their intolerance, supremacy, and expansionary ambitions, demand an appropriate response. Trump has taken this seriously, and gets bashed for doing so.
It is necessary and prudent to stand against the spread of the global jihad. Remember, the countries that were selected for Trump’s temporary travel ban were identified not by Trump, but by the Obama administration.
The Newsweek article asserts:
Perhaps more alarming than the far-right getting braver is the seep into mainstream politics of their hate, their talking points, their rhetoric. “It feels like 1929 or 1930 Berlin,” Jacobs speculated…
In speaking of “far-right” “hate” and “rhetoric,” Jacobs is referring to, among other things, attempts to counter the jihad threat. Jacobs is oblivious to the threat posed by the global jihad, and instead claims that the worst threat the world faces is Donald Trump and the “far right,” which Jacobs claims reminds him of the days of Nazi Germany. He goes on to malign Trump personally:
Trump is an enabler. Trump has no ideas. Trump is out for himself…..He’s a sick, very disturbed individual. I couldn’t say that Trump is a fascist because you’ve got to know what fascism is. And I don’t think he has the mental power to even understand it.
The chief concerns in the context of the story, if Jacobs wants to identify who today is like the Nazis, should be about the Islamic drive to obliterate Israel. Says Newsweek:
Stephen B. Jacobs has a warning from the past for America today: It’s happening again.
Indeed it is happening again. Islamic antisemitism is akin to Nazism. The Palestinian Authority (PA), Fatah, and Hamas operatives aim to obliterate Israel entirely, which would entail a new genocide of the Jews. PA leader Mahmoud Abbas did his PhD in Holocaust denial, while Yasser Arafat gave the PLO with a mandate to “liquidate” Israel. The World War II-era Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, who led the Arab revolt, also worked closely with Adolf Hitler, Adolf Eichmann and other Nazis. They had a common goal of blocking the Jews from returning to their ancestral homeland and instead exterminating them in Europe.
The rise of Islamic antisemitism today also threatens Jews around the world. It should be of particular concern to Jacobs that Iran has expanded its proxies globally. Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called for “an army of Islam” to destroy Israel swiftly. Some Islamic preachers in Europe, Canada and the U.S. are spreading hatred against Jews, Christians, apostates, gays and others. The President of the Confederation of Jews in France has warned that in a few decades, there will be no Jews in France, since violent Islamic antisemitism is driving Jews out of the country. It is also escalating in Germany and other European countries that have flung open their doors indiscriminately to mass Muslim migration.
Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) has made significant gains in the West, working through established advocacy and lobbying groups. The MB’s spiritual leader Yusuf Qaradawi has stated:
Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the [Jews] people who would punish them for their corruption. The last punishment was carried out by Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them – even though they exaggerated this issue – he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them. Allah willing, the next time will be at the hands of the believers.
Then consider the horrors of Muslim persecution of Christians, the murder of over 11 million Muslims by their coreligionists since 1948, the enslavement of blacks by Muslim Arabs, the Sharia-mandated inferiority of women, Islam’s supremacy against other creeds, beheadings, stonings, the sanctioned rape of infidel women, no-go zones in Europe where sharia has taken over. Trump is worse than all that?
Most troubling about Jacobs’ personal attack on Trump and broad accusations against the so-called “far right” is the dissemination of these accusations by Newsweek, even though these sweeping claims are damaging and unsubstantiated. That Newsweek would publish such a clearly partisan piece, using a Holocaust survivor to attack Trump, is as reprehensible as it is dangerous and divisive. Yet it is not the first time Newsweek has done this. In another, rather similar article published about this time last year, Newsweek politicized the legacy of Anne Frank to attack Trump.
The propaganda war against the West has long been waged by an alliance between leftist ideologues and Islamic supremacists. It has taken on a desperate intensity since the Trump victory, and is especially hysterical in the face of his determination to confront the global jihad.
“’I’m A Holocaust Survivor—Trump’s America Feels Like Germany Before Nazis Took Over,’” by Shane Croucher, Newsweek (thanks to Jason), April 9, 2018:
Stephen B. Jacobs has a warning from the past for America today: It’s happening again.
At 79 years old he is among the youngest of the living Holocaust survivors and was born six years after Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. But Jacobs can remember life in the Nazi concentration camp at Buchenwald; what the Nazis did to him, his family, his friends.
He worries about what’s happening right now in America, where he has lived and prospered since arriving a couple of years after Buchenwald’s liberation on April 11, 1945.
The American far-right appears emboldened since the election of President Donald Trump, who led an inflammatory, nationalist campaign. Since then, clashes like the one in Charlottesville are becoming almost commonplace.
“Things just go from bad to worse every day,” Jacobs, a successful New York architect who designed the Holocaust memorial at Buchenwald, tells Newsweek. “There’s a real problem growing.”
So much so that Jacobs thinks there’s a “direct parallel” with Germany between the two world wars.
Perhaps more alarming than the far-right getting braver is the seep into mainstream politics of their hate, their talking points, their rhetoric. “It feels like 1929 or 1930 Berlin,” Jacobs speculated, ahead of Holocaust Remembrance Day 2018 on Thursday.“Things that couldn’t be said five years ago, four years ago, three years ago—couldn’t be said in public—are now normal discourse. It’s totally unacceptable.
“We thought our country had changed. In fact, it didn’t. We were operating on a misconception. ‘My god, we elected a black president in the United States! Look how far we’ve come!’ We haven’t.”
In Trump, Jacobs says, the far-right sees an “enabler.”
“I’m involved with New York real estate, I know this man personally,” says Jacobs, whose eponymous architecture firm celebrated its 50th birthday in 2017. “Trump is an enabler. Trump has no ideas. Trump is out for himself.
“He’s a sick, very disturbed individual. I couldn’t say that Trump is a fascist because you’ve got to know what fascism is. And I don’t think he has the mental power to even understand it.”
Jacobs calls New York, where he lives, an “island of resistance.” But he says Washington will soon realize too that “fascism has to be resisted.”
“Fascism could have been won in Spain. It could’ve been stopped. But appeasement of fascism is what led to everything,” Jacobs warns.
This is a man who lived what happens when fascism isn’t stopped before it metastasizes……

they are using kids to argue for the destruction of the 2nd Amendment and use someone who wasn’t even born when the Nazi took power as a historic witness. It is just too bizarre.
Germany was humiliated by France (the big loser of WW I), had rampant unemployment, widespread hunger, radical parties fighting on the street and massive and destructive inflation. I have a hard time seeing any connection to the situation in the States right now.
Sons of Liberty says
Exactly , RichardL ! President Trump is TRYING to keep out the Muslim INVASION ( Read Stealth Invasion , by Leo Hohmann ) created by Barack Hussein Obama and the Marxist Democrats. He is defending the US Constitution against the same Marxist Democrats . He is renegotiating HORRIBLE trade deals for the United States ! How is that like 1930’s Germany ? Hitler used scapegoats to blame the problems of Germany ( Jews and the leaders of the Weimar Republic ) ! President Trump is trying to create JOBS for ALL AMERICANS ! Who controls the MAINSTREAM Media , ???? , ….it ain’t Trump that’s for sure . It’s the propaganda arm of the Democrat party ,…much like Goebbels did for Hitler ! I feel for Mr.Jacobs and the horrors he endured but President Trump ‘s America in NO WAY resembles 1930’s Germany .

He is kinda correct. Berlin was a cesspool of sin and degeneracy brought on by the Neo Bolshevik left who did ALL they could to destroy the state, family and remove G-d from public life. Hitler was the result.
.
I question one thing though. Supposedly the NAZIs murdered every child who was too young to do useful work. Why wasn’t he exterminated once he and his family reached Buchenwald? Surely at 6 years old he was incapable of meaningful work and would have been gassed and put in the ovens? Also if my math is correct wouldn’t he have been born in 1939 to be 79 today? That means he would have been 6 years old in 1945! How useful was he to the war effort then?
.
About 3 to 5 years ago I read that in an Israeli news site that 250 thousand holocaust survivors were still alive and living in Israel. How many were there originally in 1945? What is their life expectancy of those who survived in 1945 compared to the rest of the population. From the pictures I’ve seen I would have thought most of those liberated would have died shortly after liberation.
RichardL says
Buchenwald was not an extermination camp. That’s how he survived. Think of the gargantuan effort to kill 6 million people and get rid of their bodies without major outbreaks.
Mac-101 says
RichardL, So where his parents liberated also in 1945? If he was born in Germany in 1939 and the majority of German Jews were rounded up by the end of 1942, I still ask how he survived? That’s a rough 3 years!

1/ Seventy years after Holocaust, global Jewish population is close to returning to what it was before. https://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4673018,00.html
2/ see https://www.buchenwald.de/en/72
Although Buchenwald in Germany was not a death camp such as the large camps with gas chambers in Poland. But “more 56,000 died there as the result of torture, medical experiments and consumption [starvation].”
3/ Google and read that the then 5 year old Stephen Jacobs survived in Buchenwald because his father hid him in the TB ward.
4/ Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower wrote about the liberation of Buchenwald in April 1945, “Nothing has ever shocked me as much as that sight.”
5/ You ask “What is their life expectancy of those who survived in 1945?”
– It depends on definition: In Israel there is a wide definition that “A Holocaust survivor is a person who lived in one of the countries occupied by or under the direct influence of the Nazi regime between 1933 and 1945, and/or refugees who were forced to leave their homes due to the Nazi regime…” Obviously he more severe places include ghettos, hideouts, labor camps and concentration camps…. see – http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Only-26200-Holocaust-survivors-will-be-living-in-Israel-by-2035-539668
6/ Yes many starving camp survivors died of diseases including a refeeding syndrome. But many young who survived did made living communities in the d.p. displaced persons camps. Some camp survivors fought and died in the 1948 war. In Israel our calendar commemorates the holocaust and that War for Independence this month.
7/ You ask – How many were there originally in 1945? — Holocaust survivors came to Israel mainly after 1948, after the British with their severe immigration restrictions left and before the US reopened its immigrant quotas which enacted in1922 and rescinded in md-50’s.
8/ imho Pres Trump is not a dictator but he does have an autocractic style. There are totalitarian fascist aspects in the alt-right (as well as in the alt-left.)
9/ The NYC architect and Buchenwald survivor Stephen Jacobs can comment on what many German call their nation’s “fall into the abyss”. You don’t have to be a contemporary witness to comment upon a historical period.
10/ Fake news? You can deny but not hide dictatorships and genocides.
gravenimage says
RichardL, you are right that Buchenwald was not an extermination camp–but it was a labor camp. I have heard of a few cases of children being hidden in the camps, but it was rare and almost impossible to do for any length of time.
Most of the child survivors were older chidren who were able to work. There were probably more child survivors from Buchenwald than any other camp, because it was so large–still, only a small remnant of children were able to survive, and even less of younger children.
Mac-101 says
Yohanan: Thank you for your reply. I am aware of what you wrote but this time I have to agree with Graven below, the odds of a 6 year old boy surviving years in a work camp seems difficult to belief. Was his father a head Kapo or Doctor or something which granted his family special status? As I said previously, I find it difficult to believe his family wasn’t scooped up in Germany prior to the middle of 1942 at the latest.
gravenimage says
And Yohanan, a lot of children who survived the Holocaust were hidden by neighbors or schools and were never in the camps. Sometimes they were “hidden in plain sight”, and were passed off as non-Jewish; often as relatives of the people protecting them.

My thoughts exactly. How did he know how it felt before he was born? The expected sympathy for the author’s plight provided good cover to run a standard anti-Trump piece though, which of course was its only intent, no?

Yes – he was born in 1939 yet talks about events that occurred 8 to 10 years earlier as if he had been there. With all due respect to his dreadful experiences and personal trauma, if I, having been born in 1962, spoke about events from 1954 with the authority of implied personal experience I’d be rightly ridiculed as a buffoon.

True. I was born in 1959, and cannot speak with personal authority on what the tenor of the times were in 1949.

Esther Jungreis was another child survivor of Buchenwald, older than Jacobs. Before she passed away, I heard her speak a number of times. She said that the rise of antisemitism in the world today was frighteningly reminiscent of the 1930’s. Her recollections of that time were that, even as a child, she knew that the world was composed of hunters and prey, that she and her people were the hunted, the fearful, the insecure. That is a visceral memory, and was being triggered again. She spoke this during the Obama administration, when the world was flirting with Amedinijad.

Frank Anderson says
BC, I agree with you more than I disagree. *If* he did survive the Holocaust he did it in the company of some others who also survived, who could pass to him their impressions. He also could have read many accounts to help fill in blanks, such as Viktor Frankl’s Man’s Search for Meaning. The history books and numerous television programs that describe the Holocaust paint a picture of horror beyond any question that is reasonable to me. I have met and recorded many (a dozen or more?) Holocaust survivors, but was born in 1950, after the end of the war. I feel his impression from all sources is reasonable for us to allow him to make, even if we disagree with his analysis and conclusions. How could anyone of any age survive a death camp without constant reflection of the death and misery around them, and have to fight “survivor guilt” for the rest of his life? This is one of the very few times I see reason to let him draw false conclusions and deal with his problems instead of making them ours. I wish and hope that he and others “see the light” before they are marched into another death camp; with us.

Interesting that anyone who has lived through Kristelnacht would identify with something like “Black Lives Matter”. The only censorship is of those who protest the Muslim invasion and subjugation of our culture. Or, perhaps anyone defending our Constitution. We are the ones silenced. Like so many Jews in the West, this man has lost his moral compass. It is tragic that he is blind to the plight of Jews under Islam and the way they have been squandering their liberty and freedom in the West (at least where the West has not been overrun). Had the Germans all had firearms of their own Nazis would never have succeeded in Germany. Under the Weimar administration, however, they were all disarmed and thus incapable of resistance to this kind of evil. This won’t happen in America unless our people give up our rights. It is not unruly Trump supporters (and I am NOT a Trump supporter) who have been looting during riots. It is not the Trump administration but the enemies of freedom who have been censoring people’s opinions and statements. Find me a newspaper that censors anti-Trump letters. This man seems very confused. I hope he seeks help.

I see what he means. I know Old Vets who helped blow up the big nazi insignea in Germany and are appalled that USA would allow marches with misguided nazigroups/white supremacists who are very threatening to some people. To Many people actually. USA should be rid of all groups who threaten others like nazigroups, ISLAM, White Supremacists, KKKlan. They are all unAmerican, apartheid, hateful and frightening. Especially to people who Know the holocaust and how our country has felt for the last 10 years at least. It isn’t Trump but he played to some. That was a mistake.
gravenimage says
Actually, the Nazis and the Klan have been successfully marginalized in America–we can and should do the same with Islam. We don’t have to throw out the First Amendment to do so as you seem to believe.
Peggy says
I agree. Freedom of speech is as important as the food we eat. We simply cannot ever forget it’s importance.
It was a different time then when speaking up against Nazis and the klan was considered a good thing because intelligence prevailed but now when only evil is seen as the truth by people in control we are going to have a much harder time fighting against Islam.
Today’s decent people are seen as Nazis and white supremacists. We certainly have a hard road ahead of us but not an impossible one.
Julea Bacall says
It is NOT throwing out the 1st amendment as mushy people think. Their manifestos threaten others, step on the rights of others AND threaten our constitution. Everything under the sun is not allowed. There are several boundaries to that amendment..libel, slander, threats, copy writes, fighten words, trying to overthrow our government, and a few others but you can look them up. These groups do have the Free speech to say Allah says Kill the Jews or send the niggers back to Africa or hang em ETC. That is taking the freedom away from those people to BE. They must be protected or we have o freedom. We fought a War against Nazis and not to bring them home! The very thought, the very allowance of them back in here after all that WWs were! Or all that the Qur’an says. That is not free speech.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Peggy. And good to see you posting again. Hope you are well.

Absolutely right! He’d have to have been at least about 10 years old in Germany in 1933 to have had any idea what the place ‘felt like’ before Hitler came along, which would put him at 95 years old now, and even then there’d be question marks over his accuracy. So this gentleman is employing more than a bit of imaginative speculation, especially since no circumstantial factors tie up. And he clearly believes that we’ll all fall for this fanciful bullsh*t. He thinks we’re idiots?
WPM says

Saudi Arabia stills continues to propagate Wahaabism worldwide through its money, madarsas and mosques.
Pakistan still has its jihadi terrorists roaming free and its ISI is still in cahoots with the Jihadis operating against Afghanistan and India and elsewhere.
What exceptional thing has Trump done to protect people worldwide from Jihadism?
Any US president would have had to act against ISIS by bombing them and aiding the Kurdish militias..
Any US president would be fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.
All US presidents protect the homeland as far as possible.
Apart from banning Muslims from some countries into the US how has Trump been special against worldwide Jihad terror?
Trump has come closer to Saudi Arabia, against Iran, while the main ideology of hate and intolerance is coming from the former in the form of Sunni Wahaabism.
The propaganda that Trump is an exceptional champion against global jihad is false.
Unless one considers the embassy move to Jerusalem as exceptional. Hardly the case as Jerusalem has been under Israel all along.
And Stephen Jacobs is ‘bashing’ Trump not because of his stand against Jihad but because Trump is quite a despicable, crude, ill mannered, vulgar, chauvinistic character. And on top of that he might have psychological issues. And to top it all he is the most powerful guy on earth, with humongous power at his disposal, both literally and figuratively, unlike the rhetoric coming out of the Muslim fundamentalists who are spewing venom at the Jews but are incapable of causing much harm to them.
His power makes him dangerous, especially inside the US. Compared to him the Islamo-Fascist-Arab supremacists are paper tigers.
But the US economy’s doing well. Up until now. And that is what counts, right?
WPM says
The article was about Trump enabling Fascism in America ,not about Trump “curing” world wide Jihad terrorism .You can think Trump is ill mannered ,despicable ,crude ,vulgar, chauvinistic character ,that does not make him a Fascist or fascist enabler .”Humongous power” Trump is not a dictator , Islamic Fascist are active all over the world ,with their daily acts of terror .America cannot cure or stop Islamic terrorist acts everywhere by themselves .The Moslem enablers should be held as the ones financing and turning a blind eye towards Islamic fascist.

Frank Anderson says
To my sadness, this kind of upside-down apparently deliberate ignorance is common in today’s US Jewish community. In Nazi Germany, even before Jan 30, 1933, stifling dissent was common among the Communists, Socialists and Nazi’s. Sane and thoughtful opposition to any or all of them was punished by the 3 extremes, with no room left for those who could look at all of them and understand that individual liberty and rights would disappear under any of them. Today, the best educated, most successful group of brilliant people is marching itself into oblivion by low birth rate and collaboration with an enemy sworn for 1400 years to its extermination; and calling the people who would prevent that Nazi’s.
This is a clear violation of the First Mitzvah, “All rules bend as necessary for the preservation of life”, by collaborating with the enemy and suppressing allies. This self destruction is also violating the teaching to honestly and repeatedly question everything, even to the very existence of God, because each time a question is answered, the answer is incomplete, but clearer than before. People can find amazing ways to destroy themselves. The problem is that they can take others who wish to live with them. Tragic is an inadequate word for the present situation. “Those who cannot remember the lessons of the past. . .” Jorge Santayana, The Life of Reason (1905). I wish better for *all* of us.

The First Mitzvah is most interesting – “All rules bend as necessary for the preservation of life”.
This statement is a vote for realism and what is vital. We should extend forbearance and persuasive argument to those who stand against this only when we can responsibly AFFORD to do so. But there CAN come a time when it’s good and correct to choose to sacrifice the limb and thus save the body.

As far as history goes the people today in America who are going around rioting with their faces covered, shouting down speakers at colleges , disrupting any dialogue between groups are the far left. The far left would ban a lot of books ,the far left would ban free speech it disagrees with. the far left works on getting you fired from your job if you speak against them ,they shame you into submission. The far left is busy censuring or trying to censure the internet. He will not point to anything Trump said or did that has “enable” Fascism ,he gives not examples of what people or groups today he thinks are fascist today. He gives no reference point to what he considers a “fascist act” is it a” fascist act” to want strong borders for a country, to limit immigration into the country? Is it” fascist act” to impose tariffs ,he does say Germany was fascist in world war two that is a fact. Does he think any conservative views are fascist or some conservative views are fascist ,I do not know.
Frank Anderson says
WPM, from my personal observation, any and all views that do not conform to the “liberal” views generally accepted and in control are considered fascist. What we observe today was going on, particularly in Germany, between WWI and II It’s just a new generation continuing the old generation’s work of killing liberty and thought. Consider the irony that the German Communists welcomed Jews, while the Nazi’s excluded them; and yet both did all they could to *force* people into their ranks. Whatever the label, totalitarian control works from the theory that “You are a mindless idiot and I will make your decisions for you.”
WPM says

He would have been six or seven years old at that point. Why would we ever believe he knows anything about how the current administration “feels” like Nazi Germany in the 1930’s. He can speculate but he can’t know from experience. Yet he uses the fact that he is a Holocaust survivor as evidence as to why we should believe him. He was a baby, a toddler, and kindergarten or first grade age. Not credible.

Let’s consider how old this man is and the fact that if he is not already demented, he may be becoming so. Trump is no more like Hitler than the man in the moon, neither a Nazi nor a Fascist. Furthermore, I am a concentration camp survivor and I do not think for one minute we are due to become a Nazi Germany.
We are polarizing, no doubt. I, for example to think the Constitution and Bill of Rights are critical to our survival as the USA and I will defend our right to maintain them and live by them.. But I am also of the opinion if the left and very left want to leave this country, they should do so. That is what freedom is about, isn’t it? I have no interest in telling anyone how to live his or her life. But I will defend to my death, my right to live mine as I see fit. “Fit” being doing no known harm to others.

If you think Nazi ideology is the only ideology that calls for the extinction of Jews:check out islamic supremacist teachings.
The greatest obstacle to the jihadist goal for their global caliphate?ISRAEL.

7 Mr Trump is hardly an enabler. As for Obama, well,he didn’t do much for black people…..
WPM says
You are trying to make a” liberal” change his mind by investigating something beyond his “feelings ” he feels Obama was a good President because being” black” it made him, a liberal feel good he was elected what Obama really accomplish or even if he was good or bad for the country does not matter to him. The MSM tells him that Islam is peaceful it makes him feel good so he believes it. Facts get in the way of feeling good and rightness about popular causes and opinions .If he read the Koran he would feel bad because he cannot understand that there are people who main job in life is to kill you are make you their slave ,it a” bummer man” let me play with my smart phone and order some take out from grab hub ,truth gets me down!
Cunamarra says
If Trump is Hitler and people who believe in the Constitution of the United States of America are Nazis threatening to “take over,” then shouldn’t those who oppose Trump and “nationalism” flee the country? Would it not have behooved the 11 million people who were murdered in the Holocaust to have fled Nazi Germany?
This would save them from becoming political prisoners and enduring concentration camps and the Holocaust all over again, while buying them time to convince the free peoples of the world to wage a war against America in order to destroy it like Nazi Germany was (and should have been) destroyed. They could go to Saudi Arabia and Iran or perhaps become subjects of the Caliphate and experience all the wonders Islam and Sharia have to offer. They could immigrate to South Africa and experience living in a truly non-apartheid state. I’m sure China and Russia would welcome them in, where they could experience true equality once and for all and escape the oppression of Individual Rights.
Even Western Europe with its rampant Right Wing Extremist violence would be a relief. There at least American-like Nazis have no political power and are visited by the not-thought police often enough to keep them in line (in so far as it is possible to keep people on the Right in line).
If it is as bad as this man is warning, why would anyone of good will choose to stay in America land of the oppressor?
Alex S. says
I really doubt he actually remembers anything at all accurately from that time. More likely his relatives planted whatever memories he has of those years later on and he’s fooled himself into believing that those are his memories.
And it’s astonishing that jews don’t seem to understand what Islam has in store for them. The Koran and Hadiths are quite explicit in their anti-semitism yet we see these very same people inviting their own enemies in. Except in Israel of course. How strange.
Charles A Williams says
Wasn’t it Robert Mueller who just made a Gestapo style raid on Trump’s Jewish lawyer’s home and office? How oddly ironic that Trump is impugned as part of the police state. Steven Jacobs deserves credit for being a survivor. As a spokesman for our free nation he is a blathering moron and a dangerous useful idiot.
Micheal Proulx says
He’s right about one thing, America is like Nazi Germany, the evidence being the behaviour of the MSM and the leftist George Soros funded groups who are trying to destroy US constitution. They are the Nazi’s all over again and act like the propagandist brown shirts back in the 30’s.
HugoHackenbush says
Was going to make the same point. Yes, there are parallels to Germany in the early ’30s…on the campuses. It is here that collectivists use violence and intimidation to destroy those who’s ideas they despise.
Indiana Tom says
Perhaps more alarming than the far-left getting braver is the seep into mainstream politics of their hate, their talking points, their rhetoric. “It feels like 1929 or 1930 Berlin,”
I thought this book was interesting.

This guy is a good example of how not everyone who suffers in life is guaranteed to be smart too.
And just what does he find so objectionable about what the “right” is doing? Are we too bold in speaking the truth about islam or our southern border? Are we waving our flag just a little too proudly? He whines about “Charlotesville” but islam is that times a million—no, a BILLION! He thinks the right is getting braver with their hateful rhetoric, but he fails to mention the murder, rape, and terrorism that provokes it. And that’s assuming our “rhetoric” truly is hateful, in reality it’s almost always justified anger and fear. There’s always going to be a few who lose their better judgment to hatred, but they do nothing to diminish our valid arguments against islam. And it may be that the person’s hatred is pardonable. Perhaps they had a friend or loved one killed or raped by a muslim, not an unlikely scenario given the large amount of terror and rape muslims do. Or maybe they are just sick of seeing their civil liberties and neighborhoods get destroyed by surly enclaves and rapish men. Hatred may not be a virtuous thing, but it’s certainly understandable under certain circumstances. And if Trump is an “enabler,” then it’s for the truth-tellers about islam. He was the only one that had the courage to tackle the islamic threat, only he had the good humanitarian sense to make a stand against that evil. Our president is far from perfect, but his courage in that regard compensates for it a thousand times over. I’m not religious or even spiritual, but I thank god anyway for Trump. An average intellect with great moral sense and courage is far greater in my mind than a clever fraud who doesn’t give a damn.
He’s a sick, very disturbed individual. I couldn’t say that Trump is a fascist because you’ve got to know what fascism is…
No that’s not true, he does know what fascism is, that’s why he’s calling for prudent action against islam. People who live for a god that commands the murder or enslavement of “unbelievers” are fascists for religion. Such people are probably more dangerous than the Nazis because their fanaticism and fervor goes to the highest level of belief-god. People like this use their religion to commit any and all atrocities against humanity, history proves this. For this former holocaust survivor to talk so fallaciously about the issue is saddening and alarming. He’s criticizing the speck in our eye but ignores that monolith of death and suffering in the eye of islam’s believers. This man may be old and he may have suffered, but he is no wiser on the issue because of it.

What has happened is that ‘anger’ – the anger felt by decent people when they see blatant evil running amok – has been relabelled as ‘hatred’. People are being taught that it is immoral to get angry!
Yet there is an anger that is natural, right and proper; *anger* such as – so the Psalms tell us – *God* feels when He observes wickedness, violence, cruelty, and injustice. It is *right* for a person to be *angry* when a Muslim human bomb detonates in the middle of a crowd of kids leaving a concert (Manchester) or when Msulim rape gangs cynically target ‘troubled’ under-aged girl-children (or kidnap and rape Christian girls in Egypt and Christian and Hindu girls in Pakistan).
Let us not forget that Oriana Fallaci, after 9/11, wrote a book entitled “La Rabbia e L’Orgoglio”, “The Rage and the Pride”. She was *angry* when the infinitely-vile mohammedans attacked her adopted city, New York, which she loved. And her fury drove her to write the book; to call evil things what they are… EVIL, and to declare her love for what is good and true.
*Anger*, sheer white-hot rational anger, drove Nancy Wake, the ‘White Mouse’ to her work in the Resistance in Europe. The ‘trigger’ that sent her to the recruitment office to *fight* Nazism tooth and nail, was when she saw a mob of sneering Nazi thugs mercilessly flogging a helpless elderly Jew whom they had tied to a cartwheel. She saw red. Then she put her brain in gear and she figured out what she could do to *stop* the bastards.
*That* sort of anger is what drives many in the nascent Resistance against the Global Jihad.
It is the anger – just, right and proper – that drove Tommy Robinson into the middle of a gang of Mohammedans to haul down from its pole the black flag of Jihad, after he had seen those same mohammedans publicly burning the Remembrance-Day poppies. The same anger – kindled when he saw mohammedan mobsters spitting on and insulting the remains of British soldiers that were being brought home from Afghanistan, carried through the streets of Luton – fuelled the creation of the EDL.
Mockingjay says
Well said, DA.
I completely agree that the general condemnation and “pathologization” of ALL feelings of anger is very problematic and dangerous.
Anger is a healthy, primal response to injustice, and it provides the energy – and courage – to stand up to it.
Of course, not all anger is righteous.
– More often than not, anger is the result of a PROJECTION onto an innocent – this is what you see muslims do all the time.
In fact, islam could very well be described and characterized as one giant projection of anger onto innocents.
But, in my opinion, people who abuse their anger shouldn’t be the standard by which we judge the nature and value of all anger.
Anger isn’t inherently “evil”. It’s who (ab)uses it that makes it so.
Japetto Danatelli says
What has happened is that ‘anger’ – the anger felt by decent people when they see blatant evil running amok – has been relabelled as ‘hatred’.
You’re right, and it’s become a tool of the left. We can’t be angry when we are raped, killed, and lose our freedoms for islam. And if we do then we’re bigots and islamophobes for caring about human rights and our own welfare. Our anger is justified, and frankly I think ones hatred can be too. I hate a lot of things in life, snakes, rude people, child molesters, dogs that bite me, and murderous religions that violate human rights for retarded, bigoted reasons. I reserve the right to hate anything I want, if I’m legal I’m good to go. Sometimes I hate the sun for shining because I’m in such a bad mood myself. I won’t apologize for hating something that kills and tortures and oppresses people on a genocidal scale. I won’t be silenced for a normal human reaction to diabolical evil, and that’s what islam is. So I’m angry but I’m also hateful. But despite my hatred I’m still an American citizen with inalienable rights and democratic freedoms worth protecting. And that’s what I’m going to do, defend those rights, legally, and with all the hatred I choose to feel.
Nice post by the way, you made a good point.

With all respect to what this man experienced, personally, in his youth, he is sorely misguided in his attitudes towards Trump. Trump, the first President with a Jewish daughter and Jewish grand-children. Trump, whose close advisor, Stephen Miller, is Jewish. Trump, who has proven himself to be the staunchest supporter of Israel in presidential history.
Why is this man not criticizing the unabashed and unapologetic anti-Semitism that is present in the contemporary Dumb-o-crat Party? From the elevation of Muslim supremacist and anti-Semite, Keith “Hakim” Ellison, to a plumb Party leadership post, to the repeated and shameless meetings of “Congressional Black Caucus” members with vile anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, to the Dumb-o-crats’ hearty embrace of anti-Semite and professional Muslim “victim,” Linda Sarsour, to the Dumb-o-crats’ cozy relations with a host of anti-Semitic imams and mosques — why is this man not directing his outrage at where it truly belongs?

“Stephen B. Jacobs has a warning from the past for America today: It’s happening again.”
Picking up on the above GJ comment on mosques, Stephen B Jacobs would do well to contemplate how he might be received in some of America’s mosques today as a Buchenwald survivor.
And ask himself whether there might be some 1927-1938 parallels to be drawn with these mini-Nuremberg rallies every Friday?

Speaking of Act for America, one of the men grilling Pompeo today mentioned Brigitte Gabriel as a “hater”. He was shoving the demand to defend “peaceful” American muslims down Pompeo’s throat and essentially saying that they needed to make no special efforts to prove themselves. He clearly (no name on screen) represented the brassy MB faction. Pompeo seemed torn but he had to eat crow and only voice the PC side of that coin. The good news however is that you could cut the tension with a knife. I think the blinkers are off and everyone knows the real story line – they’re just not sure how to handle it.

Unfortunately we are not sure yet, but have strong suspicion of, who will be playing the role of Nazis and who will be their victims. It is not certain yet. Those who would assume that President Trump will be a villain and his “victims” various leftist or Mohammedan groups have NO IDEA what is awaiting all of us at the end of line. ……………………
I am terribly sorry for what Mr. Jacobs and his family endured.
But the idea that he knows what Germany felt like before the Nazis took over makes no sense–he was not born until 1939. I’m not sure how he survived in the camp as a small child; grimly, most did not.
I’m am rereading Andrew Nagorski’s fine book “Hitlerland” right now, which is about the rise of the Nazis as observed by Western diplomats, journalists, and scholars. The idea that America today bears any resemblence to this is nothing but calumny.

Sure wish we had President Trump as leader of our country. With the dems, rhinos and media against him since day one, he sure has done well, not to mention the on-going Russia-collusion investigation. He is a strong man and i don’t care about his faults. I have some myself. He loves his country and while being a billionaire he seems to love the middle-class. He’s done so much for the US despite all the hate from the media and democrats. And he’s strong and a fighter. Last few presidents had the option of standing by Israel and recognizing Jerusalem has their holy city but didn’t want the outrage of the Muslim community but Mr. Trump took the bull by the horns and did what was right. He’s brought work back to the US, cut taxes, i could go on, as he’s done so much. He could do so much more if his party and the democrats would work with him instead of against him. I wish he was our leader and would make Canada great again

Here’s the thing though, and a 79 year old should be old enough and wise enough to see this – it’s not ‘Trump’s’ America. This is Obama’s America. Trump is nothing more than a consequence of the actions of Obama and his presidency. All these Liberals who hate Trump so much – he would never have ever have been elected if it weren’t for their beloved Obama.
Wait til the years AFTER Trump’s presidency to announce that its ‘Trump’s America’, because by then, it will be.
This is Obama’s America right now and it’s an America where identity politics reign, the divide between Left and Right is hostile and divisive – and where racism, bigotry and discrimination has increased exponentially. Trump hasn’t been in power long enough to change the direction of the actual country in a social and cultural sense.
This is all Obama’s doing, mate. You want to blame someone for America today? Blame that filthy POS, who right now, is off swanning around the world with his greedy, grasping wife following the Clinton’s lead, trying to hoover up as many millions as possible, trading on his fame.

When I first read that comment I thought he meant how the left has taken over and all the media parrot the politically correct script of theirs, and anyone dissenting gets the evil eye. In that sense he is totally correct. I did not take it to mean anything personal about Trump other than that he is in office now. But when I read more I was totally taken aback.
Lydia Church says
One thing that will be different about the coming holocaust; is that the new nazis will be calling the new victims ‘nazis.’ And vice versa. Another orwellian twist thrown in, just as a bonus. Just like how they are intolerant, but accuse us of that.
I might have posted this before:
They will call us terrorists, while they do the terrorizing.
They will call us nazi’s, while they organize and run the holocaust against us.
They will call us dangerous extremists, while they threaten us.
They will call us bullies, while they bully us.
They will call us pharisees, while they crucify us.
They will call us bigots, while they discriminate against us for our beliefs.
They will call us haters, while they hate on us.
They will call us intolerant, while they don’t tolerate us.
They will call us oppressors, while they persecute us.
Loyal and unrelenting Christians are their number one target.
But anyone who resists is their enemy.
They will promote the fuzzy ‘love’, which loves all but us.
If you agree with them, then they will accept you.
If you do not agree with them, they will ostracize you for not conforming to them.
Under a banner of ‘love, unity, tolerance, inclusion, peace, brotherhood, human rights, and diversity’ they will execute us as ‘the problem’ and the execution is their ‘final solution’.
Even if you don’t hold it against them for not agreeing with you, they will hold it against you for not agreeing with them, and then they get angry with you for not agreeing with them. So in other words, as long as everyone agrees with them, all is well. But if someone does not agree with them, then the war is on against all dissenters. And this in the name of: tolerance! And… love!
The new nazi’s are rising and the new group-think is here. You can almost hear the shouting chants in unison as they march on, hating and killing us all in the name of love, peace, brotherhood, human rights, inclusion, unity, diversity, and tolerance!
Welcome to Orwell’s nightmare; 2015 and beyond.

The Holocaust was utterly horrifying, but you are incorrect in believing that no one survived. Are you unaware of the liberation of the concentration camps?
And many of those who did survive, devastated as they were, were able to build new lives. Many survivors were wise people, and recognized similar threats–but it is unrealistic for us to expect that everyone would.
Baucent says
His comparison is flawed. He should check out Britain, Sweden, France and Germany as four countries where rising muslim population is manifesting a growing anti-semitism not seen since the Nazi era. Jews are safer in American than anywhere in Western Europe and it’s because muslim migration is still relatively low.
eli says
Everyone is criticising Mr. Jacobs, who I do not agree with, but the real culprit in the story is Newsweek which has blatantly exploited his background. In every population, people may hold a wide variety of views, including views which one may adamantly oppose, and that is their right. So too for Holocaust survivors, or even especially for Holocaust survivors. On the road to the physical annihilation of the Jews, Hitler’s process was to first destroy their identity and their individuality, reducing them to mere numbers.
However, today it is obvious that the Jewish community in the most real and immediate danger is in France. In France it is not only that a Jew can no longer be a Jew on the street, he can no longer be a Jew in his home either, or more to the point her home. In addition to the high profile murders of Mireille Knoll and Sarah Halimi, on average in France there are three violent attacks against Jews every two days, as well as many other forms of harassment. Other European countries are not that far behind and Norway is already Judenrein.
Today is Holocaust day in Israel, and as we hear “Never Again” over and over again, I ask myself is Europe in a time warp because 2018 is looking very much like 1938.
Frank Anderson says
Time and place matter little. Jews will always be at some measure of danger. They have served as the “evil other” for many Christians and all muslims for the last 2,000 years, and the Romans before that and the Egyptians, Persians and . . . for 3,700 years, more or less. Being Jewish is no picnic. And yet Jews continue. Something to admire about that.

Robert, while I feel that you are doing an essential job for truth, and support your project, your statement “Using the sufferings of over six million Jews from the Holocaust to malign the President of the United States is disconcerting” is disingenuous. Jacobs is talking about the rise of white power and Nazism encouraged by the President’s populism. The rise or racism in Germany doomed the Jews. Holocaust survivors are uniquely qualified to see how disrespect for the law and the rise of racism can lead to crimes against minorities. When Trump stated that there were some good people amongst the Nazi marchers in Charlottesville, the historical targets of Nazis namely Jews and Blacks were reminded of the bleak Nazi past. Just read the neo-Nazi replies to this comment to observe the racist rage against minorities that is maiming America.
PABLO says
Really? Your premise is absurd.
awake says
Spencer didn’t pen this article snowflake. Pay attention.
“When Trump stated that there were some good people amongst the Nazi marchers in Charlottesville, the historical targets of Nazis namely Jews and Blacks were reminded of the bleak Nazi past.”
Patently false. The march in Chrlottesville was to protest the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee in the park. It was not a Nazi march. It was organized political theatre however. An unsavory element infiltrated the protesters camp and antifa was also organized and attended as counterprotesters, while the local authorities engineered the two groups to meet in conflict.
Trump alluded that peaceful statue protesters were not and should not be lumped in with the opportunists, like David Duke, who also was there for political opportunity. That is true. He also correctly declared that there were bad actors on both sides. Again, irrefutable.
Your dissembling will not fly here, chump. Try again.

We understand and accept the scientific method enough now to all be fully aware that the alleged holocaust is physically impossible and a litany of lies by now don’t we? I mean seriously, how much longer before the last holdouts that ignore the fact that even something as basic as the approach taken by “The Mythbusters” would tear this bloated fairy tale apart? How about we shine some light on the real genocide of the 20th century, which was the non Russian bolsheviks slaughtering indigenous Russians & Ukrainians.
gravenimage says
Oh, great–a moronic Holocaust denier. Yeah–ignore the liberation of the concentration camps, and the mountains of evidence from survivors, liberators, journalists, and the Nazis themselves, who kept meticulous records. *Ugh*.
Meehawl says
Do you think it’s fun discovering the basic science of what it takes to dispose of a body using an oven utterly rules out the tales relayed by the alleged witnesses and you can’t then “un-know” that? Then you explore further hoping to find out something that re-establishes the status quo you’ve had thrust in your face your whole life and the opposite happens. A never ending run of evidence (or lack of supporting evidence) that debunks the claims over and over and over again along with the desperate attempts to legislatively quash anyone that revisits the claims using modern scientific techniques hoves in to view. Realising one has been lied to and that you’re potentially not only going to be in the minority for a while, but that those who have still yet to undergo their own epiphany will aggressively attack you for your own, is not a joyous path mate. You stand out like a sore thumb, but if you’re honest with yourself and take a good close look, you should at the very least feel quite offended at the brazen lying. Again, this is not a fun place to be, but once you know something is bullshit, the desires of others for you to accept the bullshit they still do, don’t work. Explore the well researched counter arguments to the holocaust claims and you’ll see why there’s a group that are desperate to have them made illegal. People fight hard to reject truths that upset lies they’ve become comfortable accepting, but they’re still lies.
gravenimage says
What rot. As I noted, the Holocaust is the most heavily documented atrocity in human history.
And the idea that it is scientifically impossible to cremate bodies is just absurd.

Meehawl says
@gravenimage. Actually it’s one of the least documented atrocities in human history. The fuel requirements to cremate the number of bodies claimed is astronomical in size, yet there’s no records of shipments of combustible materials even remotely within range of what was needed. There’s no lists of names of the killed, no documentation regarding orders to carry out this alleged genocide etc etc on and on and this with a military institution that was positively anal about record keeping. There’s no aerial reconnaissance photos (untouched originals that is) showing any evidence of the claimed activities that includes chimneys bellowing smoke and flames 24 hours a day, open air burn pits, mass graves etc etc. In fact the range of original fabrications of what occurred was so outlandish at the start, that many of the fanciful tales were immediately discredited by the most basic of inspections, by relatively low ranking experts in the relevant fields. The submarine diesel engines whose fumes were claimed to have been used to gas the jews was the original tale and was summarily cast aside by knowledgeable people in the field and without missing a beat they just moved on to another quickly debunked tale, then another quickly debunked tale, until the Zyklon B gas chamber one managed to stay upright on rickety foundations. Here’s the thing, despite every gas chamber manufacturer in the world saying outright that the claimed gas chambers in WW2 Germany were entirely unfit for the claimed purpose and could not possibly have worked as described, people choose to believe the asserted lie despite the fact the logical thing to do if that was the truth, was to just say that the first time and not bother with the series of lies that precede it. Apparently you need to assert lots of easily falsified claims first before you tell the truth in some peoples minds. Well, no, that’s the most suspicious behaviour there is and that’s the testimonial timeline of the holocaust. Also, those links you pasted are pictures of the standard crematoria that were built to a standard set of drawings in every permanently manned, large population complex, be that a concentration camp, POW camp, military training facility etc etc. They are a standard item of construction, not anomalous. Adding to that, every cremation expert questioned on the ability for these ovens to carry out the tasks claimed of them has categorically stated that it was physically impossible to achieve even a tiny fraction of what’s asserted. Highly competent research historians that reveal these testable and demonstrable facts have their lives, careers and financial worlds crushed by massively funded campaigns to legislatively halt them, academically cripple them or character assassinate them. If the truth is what we all once thought it was, then disproving the revisionists should be easy huh? So why isn’t that the approach taken then? I’m not going to disparage you personally incidentally, because I believed as you do for the majority of my life, that the fairytales of the holocaust were true. We were both lied to, you’re just potentially at the dawning of the epiphany regarding that and I’m just a few hundred yards down the path of no more bullshit.

Meehawl is just a few hundred yards down the path of hating Jews–see his castigation of Jews on the thread about the rise of antisemitism in Europe.
I suppose he will say that all of those Western reports of the liberation of the camps was faked–including all the photographic and film footage:

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQzYptd4GNVTC2lBi8tw0ZvcDqrbadKCmmC4Rl7ryoPO0ApH3Vi
Of course, there are thousands more such images.
Meehawl says
@gravenimage. Both of those links shows the victims of Typhus that over ran the camps at the tail end of the war, that were also buried in mass graves dug by allied forces. You’re on the path now. You will feel some considerable resentment towards those dismantling the lies at the start of your journey, as did I.
gravenimage says
Oh, good grief. Not only is this bullsh*t, it seems that Meehawl is good with the nice Nazis starving and working Jews so they are vulnerable to mass death.
I see he is now spewing his hatred of Jews on other threads.
He *does* know that his his unhinged antisemitism and apologia for the Nazis is not going over well here, doesn’t he? The idea that I am “on the path” to Holocaust denial is just sickeningly false.
Meehawl says
@gravenimage. The only starvation that occurred in the camps was at the tail end of the war when all logistics infrastructure had been obliterated by successful aerial bombing and rocket attacks. Everybody was affected by this, including the German enlisted. At some of the camps, jewish testimony tells of the soon to withdraw German camp guards presenting the option to the camp inmates of leaving with them, or staying and waiting for Russian forces. Do you think during a time of scarce resources a brutal and bloodthirsty series of murderers would present that option, or do you think that the jews that made that testimony were lying? Whichever one you choose, dismantles the notion that the idea was to starve these people. Allied bombs achieved that. You’re on the path now whether you like it or not and also, refusing to accept bullshit doesn’t require hatred of the descendants of the liars, despite how convenient that image would be to your own desired view of what’s occurring. I hate bullshit and bullshitters. If I meet a jew that stands with the testable, demonstrable and documented truth over the self serving lies of his/her forebears, I have no issue at all with them. See how that works tiger. No bullshit, no problem. Simple huh?
gravenimage says
It is clear that Meehawl is going to go on lying about the kindly nature of all Nazi concentration camp guards and vicious allied bombing campaigns. Next he will tell us that Jews resisted being liberated from the concentration camps because they were having such a great time. On other threads he reveals more of his nasty antisemitism.
Meanshile, this is Jihad Watch. Does he actually have a problem with the horrors of Jihad, including threats to slaughter the Jews. Not so you’d notice…

Frank Anderson says
GI, I think it is worth pointing out that the resources wasted in killing people may have done as much to cripple the Nazi war effort as allied bombing. Every train that carried people to the death camps was one less to carry materials to manufacturing or the front. Every BTU wasted cremating bodies was 1 less for war production. Every murdering scum working the the death camps or in the process of collecting the victims was 1 less on the front fighting the war.
Some really rough “back of the envelope” calculations: Estimate the average weight of a human being leaving the death chamber at 150 pounds. Estimate the weight is entirely water, which takes 1100 btu’s per pound to vaporize, or 165,000 btu’s. Estimate the crematoria were about 30 percent efficient in converting heat from fuel into vaporizing the bodies. That’s about 500,000 btu’s per person. If the Germans killed 6 million Jews and more or less another 2 million others and cremated only half of them, that’s 4,000,000 times 500,000 btu’s (2 Trillion BTU’s). A pound of diesel fuel has less than 20,000 BTU when burned perfectly; so just to cremate the bodies more or less 100,000,000 pounds or 500,000 tons of fuel were spent. Then ballpark the fuel used for transportation. Any wonder why German tanks ran out of fuel in the Battle of the Bulge? The people who died in the death camps constituted an additional front which drained resources as effectively (not efficiently), at the cost of millions of lives, as many others. They contributed by their sacrifice to victory. Words that can be published are not adequate to describe those who deny this happened.
Frank Anderson says
GI, I followed a good example and am pretty sure *I* made one of those terrible decimal point errors. The 500,000 tons I estimated should be 50,000 tons. That is enough fuel, approximately, to drive a thousand average WWII German tanks about 2,000 miles each, estimating 50 pounds average per mile. They struggled to get 100 miles before running out of fuel in the Battle of the Bulge. These calculations were done with the 2,000 pound tons instead of metric units, for those who think metric. Remember the old poem, “. . .For want of a nail. . . “? I can make them too!

Frank, while some have thought that using slave labor gave the Nazis a leg up in the crudest sense, there is no doubt that the Nazi’s obsession with murdering Jews ultimately hampered Germany’s war effort.

As a supporter of Israel I have to wonder why it is that some jewish people in the west are very left wing in their politics. Especially considering that the Nazi’s under Hitler came to power in Germany under the National Socialist banner.
This fellow was obviously a very young child and influenced by his experience, and for that I am empathetic but not supportive of his association of Trump and his supporters with the Nazi’s. I believe this man is misguided.

I have been studying leftist tactics for years because my estranged older brother is one,
They always have an escape hatch during any conversation, a rebuttal that blames the worlds miseries on the fact Trump was elected. They are white guilt specialists who may claim that in every white persons garage is a gasoline soaked cross and hoods ready for this weeks lynching.. So I respond that if this was in fact happening it would surely make the news.? Wouldn’t we see it on wikileaks if not liveleak. . His response:
but the zionist rothchild Illuminati controls the all the media so nobody knows about these mass lynchings occurring all over the place ( that no one ever hears or sees or uploads. )
To them lynchings and attacks against muslims are occurring right now everyplace a tree could fall upon silent ears. To them it is the chicken that yells that the sky is falling that needs to be heard, over and over. The media assassination of president Trump, every 5th word in the news is negative and we know that a lie told often enough could be true in the minds of many half wits and dimwits, but the nitwits are a different breed, they are so stupid they are the real kKK who voted for Hillary…

Exactly how old was this gentleman in 1929? It happens to be 90 years ago. He would have to be about 110 years old to be able to have recollections that are so precise and politically astute. It seems to me that this is just another attempt to smear President Trump.

As a Jew I grew up with first hand stories of the holocaust.
My mother’s first cousin was a survivor.
I also have lived through eight harrowing and disturbing years of Obama.
Every day of his rule gave me a sense of doom.
My anxiety over the destruction of America was overwhelming.
Each and every complaint the left has about Trump I had about Obama.
Obama was treated like a Teflon God that could never be criticized for fear of
being called a racist.
The invectives of antisemite racist ..mysogenist..fascist… etc. used against Trump are so far off track it is laughable.
What I like about Trump is the very fact he is not a politician.
He has a spine and hopefully will not be bullied.
He is America’s last best hope to recover a bit from the slide to communism.
The left and their ilk are delusional and live in a fantasy of their own making.
What they wish for will be the death of America and their own death.
Hillary would have brought this on more swiftly.
During the Obama years I sat Shiva for America,
Trump gives me hope that the America I grew up in will perhaps not die until
I am dead.

Obama was a milestone for blacks and most of us were happy for them but I think there’s no question that he got to walk through the raindrops due to his color. This will be exploited if possible and so it’s safer to have someone in office who is not protected by people inclined to bend over backwards.

I’d be hard-pressed to compare anyone to Hitler, but Trump clearly is authoritarian seems comfortable with fascism. He loves Putin and other dictators in China, the Phillipines, North Korea (yes, Trump is quite enamored by the Dear Leader). His muslim ban did not include Saudi Arabia, where most of the 9/11 terrorists were from. In fact, he has become chummy with these evil, misogynistic, dictator-like “monarchs”..Saudi Arabia sits at the bottom of the list as one of the worst countries for human rights abuses. Why hasn’t he banned them? Because he loves when a ruler can rule with abandon. He has “joked” that he wants to be president for life, wants to execute drug dealers. He does not respect the USA Rule Of Law, lies constantly, tweets policy, and his crude nicknames and constant insults are despicable, and mostly directed at women, minorities, and people of color. He is a white supremacist that would not condemn neo-nazis. These are earmarks of fascism. His administration has been fraught with disarray. He can’t even hire competent legal counsel because of his long history of stiffing payments and ignoring counsel. There has been nonstop tragedy since he took office in terms of mass killings, natural disasters, police shootings, etc. His malignant narcissism is destroying this country. I’ll never understand how any compassionate, thoughtful HUMAN being can support him.

What an amazingly ignorant old fool this Jacobs is. How on earth can he draw parallels between Trump and Hitler is totally baffling.
As a Jew he is a target by almost every Muslim on earth, and it has been very obvious to all that Trump is pro Jew and anti Muslim! Even his ‘favourite’ daughter Ivanka has married into a Jewish family and has converted to Judaism. If it wasn’t for Trump, the old fools future, as well as his family and friends would look very bleak indeed.
I strongly suspect Jacob has been ‘infected with the ‘loony leftie’ disease, which, as we all know, attacks both that part of the brain where common sense and rational thought would normally reside, and turns individuals into self loathing, self destructing idiots! The disease also somehow relocates the individuals voice box from the throat to the anus, causing them to spend a great deal of their time talking out of this orifice.!
Apart from Trump, who seems to be immune from this disease, all other Western leaders have seemingly fallen foul of it. This maybe because only Trump has children who he genuinely cares for and is therefore concerned about the future for them, whilst all other Western leaders are childless and clearly don’t give a damn!

It is compelling in a sickening way why many American Jews feel the need to come to the defense of those entities that are religiously sworn to exterminate them. Obama moved so far to the extreme alt-left in his coddling of moslem terrorists that by comparison Trump – a moderate businessman – looks like a far-right winger. I don’t think he has moved far enough to quell moslem terrorism in the USA.American Jews ought to support him, not abuse his efforts to bring America back to sensibility.
