While the international media was wringing its hands over the alleged genocide of the Rohingyas in Myanmar, Jihad Watch was one of the few places where one could get the truth about the Rohingya jihad against Hindus in that country. The Rohingyas began the violence there, and if they weren’t waging jihad in Myanmar, they wouldn’t have suffered any trouble. Get the details about the jihad against Myanmar in my new book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, which you can preorder here.
“Myanmar Rohingya militants massacred Hindus, says Amnesty,” BBC, May 22, 2018:
Rohingya Muslim militants in Myanmar killed dozens of Hindu civilians during attacks last August, according to an investigation by Amnesty International.
The group called Arsa killed up to 99 Hindu civilians in one, or possibly two massacres, said the rights group. Arsa had denied involvement.
The killings came in the first days of an uprising against Burmese forces, who are also accused of atrocities.
Since August nearly 700,000 Rohingyas and others have fled the violence.
The conflict has also displaced members of the majority Buddhist population in Myanmar (also called Burma) as well as members of the Hindu minority.
Amnesty says interviews it conducted with refugees in Bangladesh and in Rakhine state confirmed that mass killings carried out by the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (Arsa) took place in a cluster of villages in northern Maungdaw Township at the time of its attacks on police posts in late August.
The findings also show Arsa was responsible for violence against civilians, on a smaller scale, in other areas.
The report details how Arsa members on 26 August attacked the Hindu village of Ah Nauk Kha Maung Seik.
“In this brutal and senseless act, members of Arsa captured scores of Hindu women, men and children and terrorised them before slaughtering them outside their own villages,” the report said.
Hindu survivors told Amnesty they either saw relatives being killed or heard their screams.
One woman from the village of Ah Nauk Kha Maung Seik said: “They slaughtered the men. We were told not to look at them … They had knives. They also had some spades and iron rods. … We hid ourselves in the shrubs there and were able to see a little … My uncle, my father, my brother – they were all slaughtered.”
Arsa fighters are accused of killing 20 men, 10 women, and 23 children, 14 of whom were under the age of eight.
Amnesty said the bodies of 45 people from the village were unearthed in four mass graves in late September. The remains of the other victims, as well as 46 from the neighbouring village of Ye Bauk Kyar, have not been found.
The investigation suggests that a massacre of Hindu men, women, and children in Ye Bauk Kyar happened on the same day, bringing the estimated total number of dead to 99….

Yes this is fact. The history of how the Bengalis got into Burma is missing in the mass media created crisis. In the 1823, 1853-55 and 1883 the British invaded an conquered the great Burmese Kingdom that was Buddhist too. In their colonial era the British created the British Indian Army. These sepoys made up the ranks of the military during invasions and then occupation. Bengalis, were the ranks during the conquest of Burma. After this was done the British imported more Bengalis and Hindus to serve in the colonial administration and act as a buffer between themselves and the Burmese. These Bengalis were not immigrants, migrants or native to Burma, they were colonists. The 1982 citizenship law enacted in Burma stripped citizenship of anyone who could not prove that their family lived in Burma prior to British colonization and the importation of Bengali Muslims. The Burmese know their history and they also know that multiple Burmese kingdoms in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India,Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines were over run and destroyed by the Islamic wave. And so it goes.

British colonialism wasn’t such a great idea. For any good the British did, they also did a lot of harm, too.

Of course the Muslims did this…They are Muslims aren’t they?Just following their creator muhammad (if he ever actually existed)

Show me a country in the world where Muslims of any kind have not killed non-Muslims(Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jews, etc )? So why would be Rohingya an exception to this rule!! These guys committed genocide of Hindus in Myanmar and when they were given some response by Buddhists and Hindus to defend themselves the Western world starts having fits!! Talk about hypocrisy – there is no shortage of it in the West and Muslims!!

So called South Asians hate the Hindu presence.
Since they have surgically removed all memory of their Buddhist and Hindu ancestors it is impossible for them to encounter that living and breathing tradition which which they or their ancestors abandoned willingly or through forcible conversions.
It is such a painful realisation that it sends them into a rag8ng feeding frenzy!

What did the Hindus did to these creatures?? It was after all a clash between the Burmese army and these mad creatures?? So why did the poor Hindus have to die at the hands of these creatures?? But there is a precedent in India in 1921 in the Southern state of Kerala.. THE GORY MOPALA REBELLION… Just because Turkey lost WW1, these creatures attacked their local friendly neighbor Hindus and slaughtered them in the scores….. Ps google the Mopala rebellion of 1921.. these are violent creatures of habit..

It is such a travesty of justice for the Western media to report that the “Rohingya” are being persecuted when it is so clearly the opposite with “Rohingya” doing the persecuting. Unbelievable.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
Here’s an example. This story is running on CTV in Canada. CTV claims that it comes from numerous interviews done by Associated Press. I have yet to see these reports air on any other network that I consider reliable. So far any reports of war crimes that were investigated by a third party has found the “Rohingya victims” to be lying. That’s not to say these reports are not true but the corroborations of the accusations are thin.
My doubt comes from the fact that in the past CTV had interviewed a so-called independent “expert” in the “Rohingya crisis.” When I investigated his identity it came out that he was an Ismaili Canadians working in marketing. (All of his clients were Mohammadan organizations.) No academic credentials. On his online resume it was stated that presently he works for a Canadian Muslim Bengali (Rohingya) organization. This was never revealed by CTV news. This is a clear case of conflict of interest and deception on the part of CTV news but who’s going to call them out on it?
Also, one or more high ranking reporters with the CTV network are Ismailis and work or have worked on the “Rohingya” file. Not that their reporting is not reliable but it adds to my doubt after discovering that they had failed to fully identify the allegiances of an interviewed independent “expert.”
In the interview of Bob Rae, note that Rae’s investigation is actually being aided by CTV news. From what Rae says in the interview, he seems to be getting most of his information from and with the aid of CTV news. How is this an independent investigation?

I have noticed from time to time that CTV is hardly an unbiased news source. It’s a sad commentary on today’s reality that people have to find their own news in dribs and drabs from what reliable sources they can actually find.

No one plays the victim card better than Moslems.
Linda says
That’s very true. They need to stop aggressing against every other kind of people on the face of the earth and try to get along. This fixation on domination that Muslims have is not going to win them any friends. They’re being totally unrealistic and everyone can see that they are not the victims.
Tony Holland says
they, the subhumans, have zero interest in ‘winning friends’ and are being totally realistic within their own thinking, their realism is the complete annihilation of everything non sharia/islamic and total domination and replacement of all Western culture, even,’moderate’ muslims are fully indoctrinated against the West, unfortunately the biased appeasers in Western governments refuse to acknowledge the truth because the non PC label would be pinned on them.
Linda says
When Aung San Suu Kyi was confronted by other Western leaders about Myanmar’s treatment of the “Rohingyas”, to her credit, she stood her ground and told them that the Rohingyas were doing the persecuting. Political correctness didn’t bother her.

Scott Mair says
The plight of the Rohingya is unfortunate and no jihad could justify the slaughter of innocent people of whatever faith but it is clear that hatred in Myanmar cuts both ways and this hasn’t been a prominent feature of the narrative. Ironically, genocidal attacks on Christians in places like Egypt Nigeria Syria and Isis held territories are called sectarian strife as if both sides are responsible. Thanks for reading,SM
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
If you dig into the facts, Scott, you may find that very few “Rohingyas” (an invented term, they are in fact Mohammadan Bengalis) have been harmed. Mohammadans are high artists of lying and deception and many of these people have been caught in lies.
The predominantly Buddhist country of Myanmar (think about that Scott) does not want them dead. It just wants them out. The good people of Myanmar are tired of their repeated and numerous insurgencies, and acts of violence.

WESTPAC Spy says
Frankly the Buddhists and Hindus have suffered enough Jihad at the hands of the non-native Bengalis to justify expelling them. The British brought them in when then Burma effectively became part of the Raj. And after slaughtering Buddhists in the rest of the Indian subcontinent the Buddhists despised the British for bringing in genocidal Muslims to the part of the Asia where the Buddhists had finally found refuge.
When the British retreated deeper into India the Bengalis switched sides. In 1942 over 40,000 Burmese were killed by the Bengalis under Japanese occupation. It was the last major genocide the Muslims committed against the Burmese. It wasn’t of course the first; that would be in what is now Afghanistan. The Buddhists are not bowing to international pressure no matter how loudly and how long the press portrays the Bengalis as the poor victims. The Buddhists learned a valuable lesson in 2001 when the Taliban destroyed the Buddhas of Bamiyan. The “international community” was outraged. So the Buddhists learned that Buddhist artifacts matter to people in the West, Buddhist lives lost at the hands of Muslims not so much. So now they are effectively giving the finger to Westerners who are ignorant of history and wrongly see the Bengalis as victims. After Burma became independent the Bengalis began a decades long jihad to seize Burmese territory, sometimes in the hope that they could become autonomous and sometimes with the intent of becoming part of Bangladesh.
Speaking of Bangladesh, where’s the outcry from the West as Muslim Bangladeshis continue their genocide against the Hindu and Buddhist minorities in that country.
I’m sick and tired of the ignorant and cowardly attitude that Muslims can do no wrong, and they’re always the victims. Muslims have committed a great many murderous crimes wherever they’ve went. And how could they not? Allah commands them to obey the lessons of their prophet and model themselves on Muhammad’s example. And he was at the very least a sociopathic killer.
As you may be able to tell, my sympathies lie entirely with the Buddhists and Hindus in this fight. They’ve suffered enough.

crusaders hu akbar says
anyone whos done the tiniest amount of research knows that its the moslims who always start the violence
Lebel says
Firstly, this is a good source and therefore I must take it into account in good faith and without conspiracies. This is because I was one of those who doubted that those massacres happened and now I must rethink my position in light of this new evidence from a reliable source
Second, I am happy that you consider Amnesty International a good source BUT you have to be consistent. You cannot consider them a reliable source when they go your way and then consider unreliable when they write about ethnic cleansing of the same Rohingya:
https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2017/09/rohingya-exodus-amid-ethnic-cleansing-in-myanmar/
They are either reliable or unreliable. You cannot start from the viewpoint that Muslims are always guilty and then look selectively for information that confirms that axiom of yours.
I am not a betting man but I am 100% certain that you would reject any evidence presented by Amnesty International of ethnic cleansing. I am also certain that a majority of jwatchers would do the same.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
Dear Libel, the facts are hard to get. Myanmar has very wisely kept the biased MSM out of the region. They know well that they have been peremptorily convicted so they stick with their story and keep everyone out.
What is not hard to get at, however, is the long history of violence and insurgencies of the “Rohingyas” (an invented term, they are in fact Mohammadan Bengalis). The MSM have been avoiding covering this because it would clearly paint the “Rohingyas” as a violent, separatist insurgency as they truly are.
And as the good Mohammadans that they are, they use their women and children to garner sympathy that they don’t deserve.
Charles R.L. Power says
Obviously, if any Muslims are guilty of violence toward innocent Hindus, Hindus can’t possibly be guilty of violence against innocent Muslims. You’ll find that most posters on JihadWatch have the same logic about Bosnia. People here are terminally simple-minded. Oh, and I’m sure someone will remind me that there’s no such thing as an innocent Muslim, even a suckling babe. Much the same attitude present in all practitioners of genocide.
Linda says
The part you conveniently forget, is that Hindus or followers of any other religion that is attacked by Muslims, has the right to defend themselves

Muslims have been waging Jihad against the Buddhists (and HIndus) of Burma for a very long time. See:
https://www.andrewbostom.org/2017/09/before-there-were-rohingyas-colonizing-bengali-muslims-waged-jihad-in-myanmar-and-it-continues-apace/
Of course, the mainstream media would have you believe the Rohingya are poor, innocent, peaceful, and tolerant Muslims, harping on their beloved victimhood theology.
Maybe the Burmese Buddhists understand all too well their past experiences with Islam, Islamic supremacism, and Jihad, know that Muslims exterminated Buddhism from large parts of Central Asia and the Indian Subcontinent, and can be pretty confident they will finish the job if given half a chance.

Buddhists and everyone else have a right to defend themselves.

This was a horrible crime committed by Jihadis. The perpetrators need to be identified and punished.
But that does not mean that non combatant, non jihadist Muslims who are normal civilians have to be collectively punished. Jihadis had attacked civilians and policemen but the state machinery in Myanmar took revenge on the whole Muslim Rohingyan people en masse. That is ethnic cleansing.
Most Rohingyans were born in Myanmar although their ancestors have been migrating from Bangladesh since four centuries.
How can double standards be applied to Myanmarese Muslims? People born in civilized nations of the world are considered citizens of that nation. Not so the Rohingyans. They are not recognized as Myanmarese? Why not?
When terrorist acts are committed by Muslims elsewhere the army does not descend on all the local Muslims and shoot at them or drive them out of the country. But this is what happened in Myanmar.
In civilized nations, the security forces protect all innocents, targeting only the criminals and terrorists.
The truth is that Myanmar is yet to join the community of civilized nations and hence many ethnic groups there are fighting for secession.
Targeting innocent people will only increase the problems.
