“In this case, school officials said there was no vote. Students filled in the blanks themselves, hence the 8th grader himself wrote in the words ‘most likely to bomb the U.S.'”
In that case, why did the school issue an apology to parents? The school didn’t add this tag to the 8th grader’s photo in some “Islamophobic” frenzy. The child wrote it himself. Doubtless he is just having a little joke. Nothing to be concerned about. To question him, much less investigate him, would be “Islamophobic.”
“Peoria school apologizes for ‘most likely to bomb the U.S.’ yearbook superlative,” by Sonu Wasu, ABC15, May 14, 2018:
PEORIA, AZ – It’s a yearbook controversy, which has a Valley charter school issuing an apology to parents Monday night.
Parents who just received the yearbook from Sonoran Science Academy were in disbelief after seeing a page in which a student with a Muslim first name was voted “most likely to bomb the U.S.”
Bree Brown has an 11-year-old daughter at the school and said her daughter showed her the post over the weekend and appeared disturbed by it.
“I looked down and read, most likely to bomb the U.S. and I just sat there for a second and thought, no way. This is not happening,” Brown said.
“I thought it was a joke, I didn’t believe her at first,” added her husband, Kian Brown.
The parents wondered how something like that could have made it to the printer and been published with no oversight from school administrators.
“It was missed. There’s a faculty advisor in charge of the yearbook. They did not catch it,” explained Matthew Benson, a spokesman for the Sonoran Science Academy….

Either way, the cold hard truth has been spoken here…

Agree. Where did this young boy get those AGGRESSIVE ideas from?

It is right there in plain site. Hopefully these stories get around and people start waking up to how serious of a matter this is. We are talking about millions upon millions of these people have been brainwashed since childhood into evil and murder, and it will take a war or a few generations to the upheaval of the brainwashing. Too many of these people are too far gone to change their ideology.

Why is the school apologizing for what this kid wrote about himself??? This kid is announcing he’s going to wage jihad!
They should’ve notified the local and federal cops, expelled that kid from school, investigated his parents, and found out just what is going on in that kid’s life that leads him to say something like that! Normal kids DON’T envision themselves blowing up their schools!!!

You are overreacting it was than joke to get you islamo all wildup.
Kay says
Threats in schools are no joke. Everyone knows—or should know— that.

Fuck off, “Brian Hoff”. If it was some non-muslim kid who said he was most likely to kill muslims, you wouldn’t think it was a joke. You and those cair assholes would be screaming bloody murder and rioting in the streets, as usual. And another thing, moron, learn the proper usage of the word “than”. You’ve been posting here for years and still haven’t gotten it right.

Yes. A Muslim student “jokes” about bombing the US in a school yearbbook. A regular laugh riot, that’s for sure. Maybe next year a Muslim student can joke about exterminating Jews: what a knee slapper that would be! Listen to yourself.

“Brian hoff”–really, “DefenderofIslam”–thinks that terrorizing the Infidels is hilarious.

The school issues an apology for printing a threat. The apology is for those who felt threatened.

One can assume that either the comment was made as a joke, albeit a very immature and bad one, or the kid has been radicalized by the internet or his family. The local authorities shoul investigate which it is and act accordingly.
What is of more concern, at least to me, is that the book was allowed to progress through the school and printing without anyone noticing, or if noticed, saying nothing to stop it.
The kid may be an immature grade 8 student who may have shown his stupidity in a very bad joke, but those who gathered the comments and added them to the yearbook were adults and should be held to account for their lack of integrity in allowing the comment to proceed to printing. Why was it not edited out ?
Tom says
Jay you miss my whole point. As I said investigate and act according to the result of that investigation.
The ADULTS !!! Who missed or ignored the radical comment have to also be held accountable for their actions in not editing it out.
If these folks are in any way consciously responsible for allowing the comment to proceed then they are just as guilty of promoting a statement of intent to commit an act of terror as a parent or Imam that may have radicalized the kid.
If adults are not prepared to stand up and say no way am I letting this comment through, then the Islamists will eventually win the fight and impose their will on all of us.
Kay says
It should not have gone to printing. It should have been documented and investigated. Threats in schools are no joking matter. Everyone knows that.
Bill says
The student will be monitored by the FBI for about a nanosecond and then, like the Boston bombers or the Pulse terrorist, forgotten about. If the student is not forgotten about, he will be recruited by the FBI to serve the FBI in some other Garland-like operation.

Typical schoolboard , like the Universities, they are too afraid to pull back the sayings of the young muslim guy, but on the other hand as protests start to come in bigger numbers from the right, they are getting scared too, so they went for the middle to keep both parties happy.
But it still is not right, it is really appalling that the next generation of kids are already so brainwashed that something will clash and if that happens, it will be something.
Don’t you still not realise, that you are destroying this planet if you continue like this and the human race with it?
And May in the UK, we can not and will not tolerate the intolerance of Islam or any other religion which is so violent. You should watch your own speeches better, you are so contradicting yourself .

What’s the cowardly school sorry for
This country needs to grow a back bone
The kid needs to be charged with something
ben t says
I was on a school board for 3 yrs. We described ourselves as like “mushrooms growing”, IN THE DARK AND COVERED WITH SH#T. We couldn’t check every little detail going on in a large school system but we , sure as hell, could hold responsible those administrators who screwed up as in this case of the unscreened book.
Norger says
Not that this student’s comment actually has anything to do with Islam, of course.
