Germany: Federal Office for Immigration accused of taking bribes to grant asylum status to over 1,000 migrants

May 23, 2018 10:32 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

The Federal Office for Immigration (BAMF) and Refugees in Bremen Germany is being accused of “wrongfully granting asylum to over a thousand refugees between 2013 and 2016 who had their applications dismissed in other federal states.”

Now they are being investigated for “taking bribes in exchange for granting favourable decisions.” “Interior Minister Horst Seehofer has said that he won’t spare reputations in his efforts to get to the bottom of a scandal that has hit public trust in the asylum process.” Not that the public still had any trust in the asylum process, even aside from the “BAMF affair”.

The scandal has spotlighted a strange anomaly in Germany: whether you get asylum depends heavily on where you apply…. Iraqi and Afghan asylum seekers were far more likely to receive asylum in Bremen than in states like Brandenburg and Bavaria.

The entire refugee and immigration process in Germany and across Europe is reckless, corrupt, incompetent and flawed. While politicians continue to line their pockets with taxpayer dollars, it is the public that pays the price economically and with their safety:

The scandal could barely have come at a worse time for the German authorities. The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) cruised into the Bundestag in last year’s national elections by stoking popular fears that Germany’s asylum system is widely abused.

The label of “far right” continues to be applied to sensible and responsible politicians and political parties that are trying to protect their countries from being unrecognizable — a process that has already far advanced in Germany and elsewhere across Europe. One example: in April, a state of emergency was declared in Duisberg as rival Muslim migrant gangs brawled in the street with machetes.

“Cash for refugee status: the scandal rocking the German asylum system.” The Local (thanks to David), May 22, 2018:

What is the BAMF affair?

The scandal centres around the Federal Office for Immigration and Refugees, which goes by the acronym BAMF.

The BAMF office in Bremen is accused of wrongfully granting asylum to over a thousand refugees between 2013 and 2016 who had their applications dismissed in other federal states.

Prosecutors in Bremen are currently investigating the former head of the Bremen office, Ulrike B., and various employees on suspicion that they took bribes in exchange for granting favourable decisions.

In April, prosecutors searched six private properties and the offices of two law firms as part of their investigation. While it is not yet certain whether BAMF employees in Bremen received money in return for granting asylum, a lawyer’s office in Hildesheim is said to have charged €1,000 to ensure that the Bremen office handed down a positive decision.

Are there wider implications?

The scandal has spotlighted a strange anomaly in Germany: whether you get asylum depends heavily on where you apply.

Figures published in October last year showed that Iraqi and Afghan asylum seekers were far more likely to receive asylum in Bremen than in states like Brandenburg and Bavaria.

In Bremen, the success rate for asylum seekers from Iraq was 96.4 percent in the first six months of 2017 – almost twice as high as in Berlin, where the rate was 50.3 percent. Moreover, 65 percent of asylum applications from Afghans were successful in Bremen, whereas 30.9 percent of Afghan asylum seekers were successful in Brandenburg.

The Interior Ministry has now decided to look more closely at this anomaly and is reviewing the asylum process in ten states where applications have been granted at rates that are either unusually high or unusually low. As part of the investigation some 8,500 randomly chosen cases will be examined for irregularities.

Seehofer has said that sloppiness or overwork “seem to” explaine [sic] the wide difference in approval rates. “But I always say that it ‘seems to be’ the case. We are working it all out to make sure that everything is cleared up,” he said on Tuesday….

I HAVE SAID THIS TWICE BEFORE IN COMMENTS — There is apparently mega $$$$ flying around our planet to enable soft AND hard jihad.

Most of that money is so deeply woven into bank accounts whose owners are not traceable without expensive time-consuming investigations.

This German immigration office incident is a tiny tip of the iceberg. The rest of the bribery will likely never be discovered — so a slow progression will continue, with Allah’s patient sociopaths gaining the upper hand in multiple European nations.

I wonder how many it REALLY are – this is the official number : these ” refugees ” have so much money – they can pay everything !
And then they get everything for free including the best new build houses !
They come to the foodbank , beg at The churches for food stamps — and drive 2 cars minimum !

Germany is betrayed by a bunch of Idiots !

Meanwhile, about 50 different offices are under investigation.

Josefa Schmid, who was responsible for the investigation in Bremen, suspects much more cases of immigration bribery than expected. She fears that the main office in Nuremberg could be involved too.

Shortly after she notified Mr. Seehofer about the investigation results, she was removed to an office in Deggendorf/Bavaria.

That’s today’s government in Germany under Angela Merkel.

      Addition:
She notified Mr. Seehofer about the preliminary results and was removed before she could start a more detailed investigation.

Check out for members of the “GROKO” (“Grosse Koalition” with the antigerman “die Linke”, “Grünen” and “Christian Democrats”) with her Majesty Queen Chancellor Merkel “von der Uckerark” and her submissive cohorts.
Pitty, sorry to say – political Germany has been changed into the first real “Banana-Republique” of Europe since September 2015.

Follow the money, the greed the power greed and the ego”s, in every club, institution, brotherhood,
governments, everything should be researched, but then the researchers………….
But slowly by slowly, so much will be transparent and we will hear about things that we never could have believed that those things would or could happen.
The human tries to make money from the most horrible circumstances, boat people, human and children trafficking ,banks, governments, gangs, you name it, shareholders of big companies.
It all depends, what kind of societies you want, like this one? When I read how much money Trump’s lawyer got to arrange a meeting ? But, I don’t know if it is true. People get money from”refugees ” for nice apartments, to frauding the healthsystem etc. etc.
Good going Mrs. Merkel and other European countries, but keep on loving them, it would take a long time before we would lose the phrase us and them.
And Muslims, you were fooled by your own imams, ayatollah’s who have rewritten your Qur’an with the most horrible hadith’s and told you that those were written by your prophet Mohammed. But your prophet did not write them, He wrote a Qur’an, but that was not the one you use. It happened before to the Bible too, people rewrite the Books by writing it all for their own gewin and crazy beliefs. It’s all about ego and power and money. Think for yourself. Do you think I really belief the story when Abraham had to offer his son to God, to see how far his submitting would go. If you think for yourself, you know that story can not be true. You have free will and there would never be a God who would try such a human trick on somebody. If He would, He would not be God, because that would be a very bad human trick. And God is not a human and has no tricks up his sleeve.
There are some good muslims, who are not liars, but they have to stay in their Islam box and follow the Ayatollah’s who are dictators, who will oppress the people and use every trick in the book to keep their power. We have ayatollah’a in every religion, we call them different. Pope’s,, Jesuits, priests , Rabbi’s,
pandits, reverends, archbishops. Of course not all of them, but you have hierarchies in every religion.
But at least , recognise it, and if you can do something or speak out or write about, it, pls do so.
May you bless yourselves, and remember that every living human, animal, nature has God within him/herself.That is the Universe.

it is funny, that. They did exactly what the politicians told them to do. I bet they find out that very few took bribes. “working towards the Führer” has a long tradition in Germany. Merkel opens the borders and the civil servants who deal with the invaders as Merkel wants get punished.

Don’t get me wrong: I think they all should be in prison or lose their jobs. But let’s start with Seehofer, Merkill and all the other political scumbags and work our way down.

    Appalling–but I can’t say I’m surprised.

Also, if these were really refugees, where would they be able to get bribe money from?
