Speakers’ Corner in 2000 hosted a variety of speakers. Everything from gay rights to vegans through to New World Order people.
The past couple of years has seen the variety of topics and speakers diminish. In the last year, Islam has begun to dominate Speakers’ Corner. I would estimate that the speakers and attendees there are about 80% Muslim, 10% Christian, with the remaining 10% spread across a variety of other denominations and political activists.
What I have witnessed in my 18 years of attending Speakers’ Corner is the rise of intimidation tactics accompany the increase in the number of Muslim speakers. The Muslims seek to intimidate other speakers, and they appear to want to claim the place, or settle the piece of land as their own. They lay their prayer mats down on the grass and they leave them there all day, essentially blocking parts of the park off to other people. They have loud calls to prayer. All of it against park laws.
There are some notorious Muslim figures who attend Speakers’ Corner regularly. Muhammad Hijab is one of them, together with Ali Dawah, who provoked a violent incident at Tommy Robinson’s peaceful Day For Freedom event in London at Whitehall. Muhammad is a trainee teacher at Harris Academy, and he is currently on suspension because of his volatile and violent behaviour at Speakers’ Corner and elsewhere.
The wife of the governor of Harris Academy, which is a chain of schools and academies, has been worried about Muhammad’s behavior for a long time. Muhammad is due to qualify as a teacher next year, but an abundance of people are writing to the academy, complete with YouTube footage, and this appears to be having a positive effect, insofar as he is under suspension with a view to being fired.
Another regular at Speakers’ Corner is Muhammad Tahwid, who is a teacher also. He is very sensitive about being filmed, and there is a video doing the rounds where he is ridiculed by an atheist on YouTube. The title is Radical Muslim Gets Owned By British Man. Muhammad was so infuriated by the video that he tried to have YouTube remove it.
Then there is a violent Muslim — Abdul Hamid — who has been arrested and charged with violence. At present he is awaiting a court date and trial. Speakers’ Corner has become a hotbed of radicalization. A large number of Muslims who speak at and attend Speakers’ Corner are on police watch lists and are under surveillance.
Ricardo McFarlane, aka Abdul Hakim, has reappeared for the past month or two. Abdul is an associate of Anjem Choudary, and he has just been released from prison. There is also another individual, black, small and wearing a green beanie hat. He shows his face, but I haven’t yet discovered his name, although I know he is a known associate of Anjem Choudary. Other attendees of Speakers’ Corner are members of the ISIS-supporting radical group, Al-Muhajiroun and Muslims For UK.
These two are regulars of known radical, prescribed Muslim groups. The police say that there are others also in this network. Muhammad Hijab is of concern to the authorities because of his involvement with contacts in Saudi Arabia. He appears to be their ringleader. When Tommy Robinson arrived at Speakers’ Corner, Muhammad was the one who formed the battle formation around him.
Speakers’ Corner today is a place where Muslims are seeking to demonstrate their force and power, whether it be through prayer mats or calls to prayer. It is a show of dominance and power. Ali Dawah is written off as a fool, as was Anjem Choudary in his day. We have already seen the impact that Ali has on young and vulnerable and impressionable minds. Tommy Robinson had to personally locate a young mentally disturbed teen who had been radicalized by Ali when the cops failed to do so.
There is also an older Muslim called Omar, who attacked a policeman with a stick. He has been arrested and is waiting to go to trial in court. Another man called Abdul Amid has been banned and told to stay away from Speakers’ Corner. Convictions are now starting to happen, and the police will issue banning orders. Muslims are using Speakers’ Corner as a power base. They turn up with 7 digital cameras and tripods. They are turning it into a big money industry via YouTube. There are so many dawah channels that they are connected to which go around the world.
There is one PC, a Steve Barnes, who understands what is going on in Speakers’ Corner, and he knows how to calm people down. Round of applause to this man.
There is a moronic and ludicrous white ginger convert called Darren Myatt – Hamza Myatt. The Muslims push him forward because he is white. This in some way legitimates Islam in the UK.
Then there is Sa Ra, a man who lives with death threats. He is a black man, an atheist who speaks out against Muslims. Muslims have long been accused of loathing black people, and they seem to respond to black people worse than they do to whites who challenge them. Sa Ra was debating Muslims, the religion of peace, and suddenly he got death threats and an ozman warning. An ozman warning is advice given to a member of the public that there is a credible threat to their life and that they should avoid a certain area – Speakers’ Corner. But he has started to come back and interact with the people there.
I myself have had loads of physical violence heaped upon me. I’ve been chased out of the park. I’ve been smacked in the face by an Algerian. I’ve witnessed people being pushed off of ladders and punched and kicked, all because their opinion differed from the teachings of Islam.
My thoughts for the future are that the cops will monitor and contain the situation at Speakers’ Corner, or that mass arrests will be made. With the cops monitoring these jihadists, we have seen London Bridge jihad attackers and Lee Rigby – all of the jihadists radicalized by Anjem Choudary. It’s my opinion that these people should be locked up, not monitored to see who they are engaging with.
The fallout from these radical interactions is massive.
