As I show in my new book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS (click here to preorder), the Armenian Genocide was abundantly documented at the time. Over a million and a half Armenians were killed. But the Turkish government has never admitted its role in the genocide, instead following the characteristic Islamic supremacist practice of denying responsibility for all wrongdoing, and blaming the victims.
“Governorship Bans the Word ‘Genocide’; 1915 Commemoration Cancelled,” by Pınar Tarcan, BIA News, April 24, 2018:
The ceremony to be held at Sultanahmet Square in İstanbul today (April 24) to commemorate the ones who lost their lives in the Armenian Genocide of April 24, 1915 was cancelled.
The commemoration ceremony would be held by Human Rights Association (İHD) İstanbul Branch, Commission Against Racism and Discrimination and the European Grassroots Antiracist Movement (EGAM) at 12 p.m.
İstanbul Governorship’s request that the word “genocide” be removed from the statement to be read out during the commemoration was announced as the reason for the cancellation of the ceremony.
Three people have been detained
Three members of the İHD, Jiyan Tosun, Gamze Yaman and Leman Yurtsever, who were carrying the banner, have been taken into custody.
16 members of the European Parliament and İHD İstanbul Branch executives rejected the request of İstanbul Governorship regarding the removal of the word “genocide” from the statement….

And Turkey sure needs to be kicked out of NATO and why would they allow this commemoration that would essentially admit murder on their part…it is FACT that did murder these people though.

The “Governorship” is an institution of psychopaths. Never accepting responsibility and bullying those who point out just where the guilt belongs.
The history cannot be changed by not using a word that fits. It still happened and the moslims are still to blame.

CRITERIA OF GENOCIDE DENIAL:
Israel Charny, Executive Director of the Institute on the Holocaust and Genocide in Israel, describes genocide denial by putting it into the following categories:
1. Innocence-and-Self-Righteousness
The respondents claim that they only intend to ascertain the truth. Moreover, they do not believe that human beings could have been as evil as the descriptions of the genocide imply. Furthermore, even if many deaths took place a long time ago, it is important to put them aside now and forgive and forget.
2. Scientificism in the service of obfuscation and disculpation
The position taken is seemingly an innocent one that we do not know enough to know what the facts of history were, and rather than condemning anyone we should await the ultimate decision of research. This is a manipulative misuse of the valued principle in science that facts must be proven before they are accepted in order to obfuscate facts that are indeed known, and to confuse the minds of fair-minded people who do not want to fall prey to myths and propaganda. The very purpose of science, which is to know, is invoked in order to justify a form of know-nothingness.
3. Practicality, pragmatism and realpolitik
Here the claim is made that dealing with ancient history is impractical, it will not bring peace to the world in which we live today. One must be realistic and live through realpolitik.
4. Idea linkage distortion and time-sequence confusion
This is a dishonest linkage of different ideas, often out of time sequence, to excuse denials of the facts. Present needs, whether justified or not, are taken as a reasonable basis for censoring or changing the record of past history.
5. Indirection, ‘definitionalism’, and maddening
These are responses which avoid the issue by failing to reply, or no less by going off on tangents about trivial details that avoid the essential issue whether genocide took place. The avoidance can also be done in a seductive manner of acknowledging that the issue should be discussed, but then it never is.

HARMS CAUSED BY GENOCIDE DENIAL
To Victims:
-It continues to destroy the victim group both psychologically and culturally.
-Denies them the right to grieve the murders of loved ones.
-It does not give them a chance to heal on all levels.
-With no Transitional Justice, there is no recognition of the CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY that the perpetrators committed. This may create hatred or spark old tensions.
To Perpetrators:
-Those who were involved in the perpetration can get away with the crime of genocide.
-Studies by genocide scholars have shown that denial of a past genocide is one of the indicators of future ones. The deniers within the country are three times more likely to help commit the crimes.
-In many countries where the government denies genocide, education on this event is non-existent, or the children are told it is a myth. Writings on the truth of the event result in the persecution of the author and publisher.

Couldn’t agree more, totally right. HItler thought he could away when killing the Jews as the Ottomans got away with killing the Armenians. He said who cares about the Armenians today? He simply imitated the Ottomans, took them as an example.
Today the Turks still live in denial and punish anybody who speaks about the Armenian genocide. They should be kicked out of NATO. THey don’t belong there.

TURKEY’S DENIAL OF GENOCIDE IS PROOF OF THE COUNTRY’S FASICST IDEOLOGY
STAGES OF GENOCIDE
The first is Classification, when they classify the world into us versus them.
The second is Symbolization, when they give names to those classifications like Jew and Aryan, Hutu and Tutsi, Turk and Armenian. Sometimes the symbols are physical, like the Nazi yellow star.
The third is Dehumanization, when perpetrators call their victims rats, or cockroaches, cancer, or disease; so eliminating them is actually seen as “cleansing” the society, rather than murder.
The fourth is Organization, when hate groups, armies, and militias organize.
The fifth is Polarization, when moderates are targeted who could stop the process, especially moderates from the perpetrators’ group.
The sixth stage is Preparation, when the perpetrators are trained and armed, victims are identified, transported and concentrated.
The seventh stage is Extermination, what we legally define as genocide, the intentional destruction, in whole or in part, of a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group.
The eighth stage is DENIAL, when the cover-up of evidence of the genocide is implemented by a government and when government shills invent excuses about why the genocide could not have occurred.

DANGER! FORK IN THE ROAD AHEAD!
Yes, this is a very pertinent topic to study, especially now. We are somewhere before stage 6 as Christians awaiting the slaughter.
The Pope was quoted as stated the following (google for context and source), Oct. 2013:
“In ideologies there is not Jesus: in his tenderness, his love, his meekness. And ideologies are rigid, always. Of every sign: rigid. And when a Christian becomes a disciple of the ideology, he has lost the faith: he is no longer a disciple of Jesus, he is a disciple of this attitude of thought… For this reason Jesus said to them: ‘You have taken away the key of knowledge.’ The knowledge of Jesus is transformed into an ideological and also moralistic knowledge, because these close the door with many requirements. The faith becomes ideology and ideology frightens, ideology chases away the people, distances, distances the people and distances of the Church of the people. But it is a serious illness, this of ideological Christians. It is an illness, but it is not new, eh?”
(He’s calling us the cancer.) I’m telling you, he’s the antichrist.
He is taking away the ‘key of knowledge’!
The Bible is God’s Word. In it you have the gospel, the way of salvation, the faith, the truth, and all of it is made up of the building blocks of doctrine. The love of God is itself a doctrine. It is more than that but that as well.
Now compare those words of pope francis with what Jesus said:
“Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” John 18; 37
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14; 6
“I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” John 17; 14
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17; 17
“And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word…” John 17; 19-20
“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me.” John 15; 20-21
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.”
John 16; 13
(Words of Christ above)
“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” 2 John 1; 9 (John the Apostle of Christ)
“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”
Romans 16; 17-18 (Paul the Apostle of Christ)
“I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, [refute false doctrine] exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4; 1-5 (Paul the Apostle’s letter to Timothy about the church)
And there are dozens more like those above.
To God, truth is a big deal. His Truth has a capital “T”.
So… the fork in the road is ahead… who will you believe?
It can’t be both!
Always, no matter what; choose Jesus!

Lydia, this pope is telling Christians that they are immoral if they want to defend their countries from invasion by people who will not assimilate and who hate both the culture of the country they invade and the people living there.

He is willfully BLIND to jihad.

The Armenian genocide and the indifference to it by the world at large was one of the reasons Hitler thought he could get away with the holocaust. This crime will follow the Turks like a curse until they come clean and confess to the crimes of their ancestors.Seems EVERYONE but them knows what they did.

Grimly true, TKF–Hitler based the Holocaust on the Armenian Genocide, and openly sneered, just a little over a decade after the Genocide ended, “who now remembers the Armenians?”.

The irony, of course, is that when Muslims feel powerful enough this is exactly the kind of thing they are going to threaten us with.
Kudos to members of the Human Rights Association (İHD) İstanbul Branch for having the bravery and decency to stand up and try to commemorate this genocide.
I am praying for Jiyan Tosun, Gamze Yaman, and Leman Yurtsever, and hope they will not be persecuted any more than they already have been.

The last SULTAN of Turkey admitted that genocides took place and condemned them:
– “I refer to those awful massacres. They are the greatest stain that has ever disgraced our nation and race. They were entirely the work of Talat and Enver. I heard some days before they began that they were intended. I went to Istanbul and insisted on seeing Enver. I asked him if it was true that they intended to recommence the massacres which had been our shame and disgrace under Abdul Hamid. The only reply I could get from him was: ‘It is decided. It is the program.’”

What, “the `Turks committed genocide? I am amazed, I always heard that Turks never do anything wrong
and they have such a fantastic leader, Mr. Erdogan, I think he is called.
But then what difference does it make: 6 to 7.000.000here, a few million people here and there killed in horrific ways, who cares? As long as your ego is fed on the fear and suffering from other people, you just deny everything and have your followers deny it to, and it DID NOT HAPPEN. And most people believe it, but one day the truth comes up, the truth always keeps nibbling, always and you can really get sick physical, but what is a bit of sickness against destroying the human race? Nothing ! (sarc.of) !!!!!
BTW, saw on European TV program yesterday. Germany get a few woken people, they demonstrated with people from Merkels own party and said that Merkel has killed Europe and she has !!! More and more people are getting convinced.
But in my opinion, she did not do it alone. Her whole government and the people did it too. People are going to look for a scapegoat who they can blame.
