Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Turkey bans Wikipedia for noting it supported the Islamic State in Syria

May 21, 2018 2:41 am By Robert Spencer

Unless you’re a member of the Leftist establishment, Wikipedia is largely worthless for information on contemporary public figures, and its treatment of current events is also often one-sided and contentious. In this case, however, it has run afoul of the Turkish government for including information that government doesn’t want disseminated, in keeping with its longstanding practice of denying it was ever involved in any wrongdoing at all. See, for example, its ongoing denial of the Armenian and Greek Genocides.

“Minister says Wikipedia ban to remain as long as it shows Turkey supporting ISIL,” Turkish Minute, May 18, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Turkish Transportation Minister Ahmet Arslan has said a ban on online encyclopedia Wikipedia will remain in place in Turkey as long as it does not remove content that shows Turkey supporting the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

In a controversial move, Turkey blocked access to Wikipedia in April 2017.

“As long as it [Wikipedia] shows Turkey, which has rendered more than 3,000 terrorists ineffective, as a supporter of DAESH [ the Arabic acronym for ISIL], it will not be allowed to operate in Turkey,” said the minister in a statement on Friday.

The Ankara 1st Criminal Court of Peace ordered a ban on the website after Wikipedia reportedly refused to remove two English-language pages that claimed Ankara had supported jihadists in Syria….

Some brave Turkish journalists blew the lid on their government’s commercial dealings with ISIS, even releasing video evidence of the border transactions of oil. Guess where those journalists ended up?
Erdogan is positioning Turkey to revert back to being an Ottoman Empire, probably with him as the caliph. You should check out his immense palace and uniformed guards.

Did I read that correctly? The ‘First Criminal Court of Peace’? Surely ‘criminals’ are ‘criminals’ whatever the prevailing social circumstances and you deal with them with the appropriate pricesses of Law, so why the ‘peace’ bit unless they also have a ‘First Criminal Court of War’? What does this signify about the Turkish Government’s attitudes to the concept pf ‘Law’ or its international intentions? This little episode certainly demonstrates its attitudes towards ‘honesty’, ‘truth’ and ‘freedom’, whatever you think of Wikipedia and it’s good to see Wikipedia stand its ground against this arrogant and insolent attempt at international censorship. After the incident where Erdogan sent one of his ministers to investigate the Netherlands Government what further proof do we need the Turkey really is getting too big for its boots?

Hello Jayell. This is a very good question. Regarding “criminals”, the word does not mean the same in Islam as it does just about anywhere else in the world,

Humiliation and disgrace from Allah and a severe torment will overtake the criminals (polytheists, sinners, etc.) for that which they used to plot.
      The Noble Quran 6:124

The word “polytheists” means Christians, and the word “sinners” is everyone else who isn’t a Muslim. So the word “criminal” in Islam means everyone who isn’t a Muslim. Islam likes to define the meanings of words according to its own particular viewpoint and sees everyone else’s viewpoint as error and “criminal”. So you have to interpret just about everything they say. They do it a lot, and (I believe) they do it for the purpose of deception. For instance, the word “peace” means to not be at war with Islam,

      60. And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom Allah does know. And whatever you shall spend in the Cause of Allah shall be repaid unto you, and you shall not be treated unjustly.
      61. But if they incline to peace, you also incline to it, and (put your) trust in Allah. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
      The Noble Quran 8:60-61

So the phrase “First Criminal Court of Peace” translates as “First Kaffir’s Court of Forced Submission by War”. They won’t tell you that, of course, and if you ask, they will deny it. But that’s what it means. I’m sure they have real criminals in Turkey, just like we do, but in this case it is propaganda.

Yes, yes, dictators take good care of themselves and mostly of their families, they care for their families, or kill them if they do something that does not please the leaders.

In this world you are not aloud to think for yourself, you can not even speak about it.

This civilisation has become rotten in their core. Luckily there are a lot of people who are still trying to make it a better world and they will prevail !!!

I am a simple sort of chap and I am beginning to find it really confusing about who is supporting who, whether at a country’s borders or inside a country. I can imagine Wikipedia might get equally confused, especially with buckets of propaganda and fake news being flung about. What am I to do ?

Erdogan has no interest in truth except to say his own ratiocinations. His support of the Islamic agenda and support for destabilizing other regions as well coercing others into his thinking bodes ill for this region and Islam. A country that aspires to Euro-citizenry but yearning for the 14\15th Century dominance is not only an enigma but sheer folly. Western silence on this madman’s agenda is mystifying. Are the powers of the world too cautious with him? They offended many people in recent decades, why not him?

i don’t think people realize how important the war between Sunni Muslims and Shiite Muslims really is. It’s been going on since the day Muhammad died. Turkey is predominately Sunni. ISIS is Sunni. Apparently it doesn’t matter how reprehensible ISIS is. Turkey will support ISIS because it is seeking a worldwide Sunni caliphate and so is Turkey.

Yes, this is how peaceful the Turks are.

      https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QSPwlTeL3JY/WPyfKOiRrrI/AAAAAAAAa3s/WLEGwZy1p600DOH4xXZlXDYDwoZRChMxgCLcB/s1600/ARMENIAN%2BGENOCIDE%2B-%2BCRUCIFIED%2BArmenian%2BWOMEN%2B-%2Bkilled%2Bby%2Bdozens%2Bon%2Bcross%2Blike%2BChrist%2B%2521%2521.PNG

They’re as peaceful as the British Muslim rape gangs. Which is to say the bloodlust isn’t unique to Turks. It’s Islamic. The region now known as the Hindu Kush was the scene of a massive slaughter. That’s what Hindu Kush means in Farsi; the slaughter of the Hindus. Of course, they weren’t just Hindus that were murdered. They were also Jains, Buddhists and Sihks. It’s why my sympathy entirely lies with the Buddhists of Myanmar in their conflict with the Bengalis (I use their word for the Muslims who infect Myanmar).

I hope you’re proud of yourself, Ibrahim. It was Muslim atrocities like the sack of the Nalanda that forced the Buddhists to accept the necessity of sometimes responding to unprovoked attack with defensive violence. You Muslims just can’t help making friends (sarc) wherever you go. If you want to know why the
Buddhists despise Muslims, look in the mirror. The Muslims began their slaughter in 1000 A.D. in the Hindu Kush. They last embarked on their genocidal habit in 1942. When the British retreated deeper into the Raj the Bengalis switched sides, joined the Japanese, and murdered 40,000 Buddhists.

There are still people who lived through that. And they want the Bengalis in Bangladesh.

The mass murder the Muslims committed in the Hindu Kush disgusted even the Mongols. It takes a lot to disgust the Mongols, and the Muslims managed it. It isn’t like the Mongols were above mass murder. But they’d only kill every living thing in a city, so that other cities would surrender. But the Muslims didn’t offer surrender and coexistence as an option, not to Hindus, Buddhists, and now Yazidis. Because they’re infidels so their only choice is convert or die. But note, Ibrahim, and take the lesson to heart. Muslim atrocities don’t scare anyone. Not in 1000 A.D., not in 2018 A.D. Of course, Western denialists haven’t exactly covered themselves in glory either. Aung San Suu Kyi refuses to apologize for Buddhist violence against the Muslims. Because she knows her own history. And why should the Buddhists apologize to us? In 2001 the world went bat**** crazy when the Taliban in Afghanistan blew up the Buddhas of Bamiyan.

What were the Taliban even doing there? And what happened to the people who built those monuments? They were wiped out by the ancestors of the Taliban. And, again, the Buddhists haven’t forgotten. Demanding they make nice with the Muslims is like demanding that a survivor of Auschwitz rent a room in their home to an SS officer.

So, back to the picture I linked to. How does it make you feel knowing that your ideology demands that you be able to strip a girl naked, rape her, then crucify her? I expect you to deny it, or only slightly less vicious to claim that the Armenians FORCED the Turks to rape and murder them. And then later the Greeks did the same. Aww, how cute! But nobody outside of the media and leftist politicians is buying what you’re selling. Because it’s BS.
      .
As a Christian, when I have sex with a woman I call it “making love.” I am not, by the way, advocating promiscuity or sex outside of marriage. But my religion makes it clear; sex is a beautiful thing and a gift from God. Islam perverts that and makes it nothing more than foreplay, so to speak. A warm-up to a crucifixion. Deny that all you want. Unfortunately, your forebears were proud of their atrocities and recorded them thoroughly. Apparently it was the killing they found most enjoyable, more enjoyable than even sex.

      ………………………………..

Ibrahim itace muhammed has made the ludicrous claim before that it was the United States and “Mossad” who created the Islamic State. Of course, this makes no sense.

Interestingly, Ibrahim itace muhammed actually has no ideological differences with ISIS–but then, how could he? It is perfectly Islamic.

They are just a rival gang to his own.

      More:

Turkey has not played any role In the activités of these misguided Wahhabi rascals. Turks are not wahhabists,
      ………………………………..

No, Turkey is not Wahabbist–but they are Islamic. By the way, the Islamic States is not Wahhabist, either.

      More:

they are sufis Who are peaceful.
      ………………………………..

Well, this is just grimly laughable. Turkey has threatened Europe and Israel and the US.

Several other points–no, Turkey is not majority Sufi–in fact, they have often been a persecuted minority in Turkey. And Sufism is not peaceful, but also embraces Jihad.

      More:

Turkey only oppose Bashar Assad for ideological différence and operated under NATO. wickpedia should get correct informations.
      ………………………………..

Sunni and Shia Muslims often slaughter each other on ideological grounds–this is not peaceful. And yes–Turkey is part of NATO, but does not share the civilized values of other NATO countries.

And in the case, nothing Wilipedia–not “wickpedia”–said was incorrect.

    Two short points

For the first time I agree “Unless you’re a member of the Leftist establishment”…that is the first time I agree and may use that phrase myself. It is an “establishment” and I and my website trotskyist.org with our support for Israel separates from it. I can live with that.

The second short point is that I use Wikipedia a lot and like it. It is very useful to me. I always say I realise I have to treat everything with care. Perhaps Wikipedia especially so but really every single thing written and spoken today has to have that treatment.
