Great. And when Farooq Rashid gets out of prison, which will be before 24 months have passed, will he become a solid, loyal, upstanding British citizen? What do you think? Nothing whatsoever will be done while he is prison to disabuse him of his jihadist sentiments. To attempt to do such a thing would be “Islamophobic.” If anything, those sentiments will be reinforced while he is in prison. So most likely when he gets out, he will resume his jihad.

Farooq Rashid,43, of Duchy Crescent, pleaded guilty, at Leeds Crown Court, to one count of dissemination of a terrorist publication, and one count of possessing a publication likely to be useful to a terrorist.
Rashid was arrested by officers from Counter Terrorism Policing North East in October 2016 as part of an intelligence led inquiry and charged in September 2017.
He was sentenced to 24 months imprisonment following yesterday’s hearing….
