Time for the United Nations to issue another condemnation of…Israel.
“Shin Bet says 250 ‘significant terror attacks’ thwarted since January,” by Judah Ari Gross, Times of Israel, June 13, 2018:
The head of the Shin Bet security service on Wednesday announced that his organization had foiled some 250 “significant terror attacks” since January, crediting this achievement in part to high-tech surveillance and tracking tools.
Nadav Argaman, who has led the Shin Bet since 2016, noted the changing security threats in Israel and the West Bank, away from more organized terror groups and toward so-called “lone wolf” attacks by unaffiliated individuals.
“The map of threats and challenges is varied and covers multiple unstable and difficult fronts,” he said.
“Since the start of the year, the Shin Bet security service has prevented 250 significant terror attacks, including suicide bombings, kidnappings, and shootings,” he said.
Argaman made his remarks to an international conference of public security ministers in Jerusalem, which had been organized by Israel’s own Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan. The announcement came hours after the Shin Bet revealed that it had arrested a Palestinian man suspected of killing an IDF soldier during an arrest raid in a Ramallah refugee camp last month….

Andy I have signed it from another source but thanks for posting the link. So glad that Ford is going to put a stop to this and hopefully the government will find and charge the organizers. That should be a first, muslim haters actually charged with hate crimes.
Andy says
My pleasure Susan B for posting link
Let’s hope newly elected premier Ford does what he said he will do and other leaders around the world will put an end to this al-Quds Day hate fest.

Andy, i would love to sign the petition, but i’m american, so it wouldn’t be appropriate. only leftists think that it is OK to go to another country – illegally, yet – and get all the rights of a citizen of that nation. i hope that the petition is swamped with signatures of patriotic canadians, and that the traitors leading your great nation are forced to quell their proxy army’s attacks on innocent citizens.

I’m an American, and I signed it. I was not posing as a Canadian–the petition asks for location.
While I agree that it is most important for Canadians to sign, their knowing that this is an international concern is not a bad thing.

It’s the great offense caused by daring to place the US embassy in Jerusalem.
Muslim wishes have been ignored. Honor has been struck a blow.
The Jews must suffer!
(And they expected this, so predictable are hamas)

How awful that in the 21st century the jews in Istael have to live with this daily threat. I can’t imagine how terrible this must be.
What is more awful is that the whole world sets back and allows this hate to fester in their own countries. Why? Are they hoping it will spill over in their country also? It is obvious by your non-action is that you do. Correct Trudeau? Try to deny this, you can’t, otherwise a jewish organization especially in a western nation would not have to request, or demand that anyone or any group that promotes, condones, this hate be charged, or at least fined. We have the laws but you don’t enforce them. Is that not correct Mr. Trudeau, Mr. Ford, Mr. Tory. To Macron, Merkel and May, I no longer expect anything from you, therefore I your behaviour is no longer a disappointment.
Please western countries, have you not over the past 2,000 years had enough of encouaging or trying to exterminate this group of people. Please become civilized and say enough is enough and mean it this time.

I didn’t sign the petition. I agree with what petition says, but feel uncomfortable to do that not being a Canadian. I am also for free speach and find that those events are only for those, who have already lost all decency and cannot be convinced that islam and moslems are human garbage. Let them talk. They look and sound for what they are – scum with mob mentality.

I am not so sure, because your location is part of signing it is known that you are not Canadian, but a point is made. I do sign out of country petitions for that reason. It helps to show support from around the world.

I live in the mountains. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, rivers, lakes, agriculture, the sounds of nature and fresh, clean air.
I also have hornets, yellow jackets, wasps, spiders, ants, stink bugs, mice, skunks, coyotes, hungry deer that forage my garden, wolves, bears, mountain lions, and other of nature’s menaces to deal with on a daily basis. Oh, and those awful hover flies and mosquitos, which are horrible here right now. I fight them off with poisons, traps, swatters, repellents, dogs and guns. It works for me and the living conditions make it worth the risk and the fight. None of these things I fight here actually WANT me dead. I am not a target for any of them. A hungry mountain lion might want me dead, so that she can eat me and feed me to her cubs, but I can stop that threat immediately with a dog, a firecracker, or a bullet. They certainly don’t keep coming at me in hoards.
I can’t imagine having to deal with the threats Israel must deal with each and every minute of each and every day. Their commitment is truly amazing.

We, in general, don’t really have much idea of what the Israelis have to put up with.
Imagine all the people at the Al Quds day march, multiplied by 20000, armed, and stirred into a constant frenzy of Jew hatred for the past 70 years.

I have a friend who was blown up by the Stern Gang prior to Independence for Israel. There is no need to approve of all the methods of all the groups that fought for the establishment of the Jewish State. There is not even a need to think too much of Judaism as a religious belief system. But Jews; orthodox, ultra orthodox, reformed, secular and also the outright atheist; all have won and deserve a resting place, a place to call home, and that place is today Israel. How Israelis have managed to stand up to continual bombardment throughout their entire existence as a state is truly miraculous and gives us all encouragement to battle on against the backwardness that rallies against all of us.
