“Subconscious fear”? Or wisdom born of experience? In my new book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, I explain how, in 1683, the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet IV assembled a large force of jihad warriors and set forth once more into Europe, intent upon succeeding in bringing it to heel where his illustrious forbears had failed. Mehmet’s grand vizier, Kara Mustafa, urged him to try again to take Vienna, arguing that it was the key to the conquest of Europe and that if he conquered it, “all the Christians would obey the Ottomans.” The jihadis duly placed Vienna under siege once again but did not count on the Polish King Jan Sobieski, who hurried to the city with a relief force. Approaching Vienna, Sobieski saw the arrangement of the sultan’s forces around the city and remarked, “This man is badly encamped. He knows nothing of war, we shall certainly defeat him.” In the dawn hours of September 12, he did. The Ottoman siege was decisively broken, and Christendom once again saved. The warriors of jihad fled in confusion, but they would, of course, be back.
Would Austria be better off if it forgot 1683 and welcomed them? Arm yourself with the truth: click here to preorder The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS.
“The Battle of Vienna: 17th century campaign still affecting modern European politics,” by Erhan Afyoncu, Daily Sabah, June 22, 2018:
Austria acts against Muslims almost every day because of their subconscious fear of Turks. Austrians have not forgotten the fear and their emperor’s escape in the Battle of Vienna in 1683. When Turks were defeated in the Battle of Vienna, Europeans were so happy that everyone, including Germans, Polish, Croats and Armenians, believed that they contributed the most to this defeat….

Agreeing with Palaiologos. Islam’s CALENDAR dates from the FOUNDATION of the ISLAMIC EMPIRE and not from a RELIGIOUS EVENT.

Every June 23 I post a comment in commemoration of the fall of Fort Saint Elmo (The Great Siege of Malta). You may think it strange to commemorate a defeat at the hands of the Turks. But this was very much a Pyrrhic victory for the Turks. Every Maltese man, woman and child fought side by side with the Knights Hospitaller, under the leadership of Jean Parisot de Valette.
Seriously outnumbered and without any real outside aid the Hospitallers and Maltese held out for as long as they could. They inflicted so many casualties on the Turks that the Turks were finally forced to break the siege and leave. This paved the way for the victory at the Battle of Lepanto seven years later and the eventual decline of the Turkish empire.

Ibrahim does not like history. If he did he would understand that the first historical reference to Mecca was in ~741 AD and did not appear on maps until ~ 900 AD. How again did Mohammed live in a place that did not exist when he was alive? How again did Ishmael and Abraham build the Kabba in a town that would not be in existence until thousands of years later? What do the Saudis find when they put in all the new hotels around the fake Kabba? Nothing! There are is no archeological evidence that Mecca existed at the time of Mohammed, much less at the time of Abraham. Now what is described in Islamic sources as to a physical description of Mecca more accurately describe Petra (olive trees never grew in Mecca). The earliest mosques all accurately point toward Petra. How odd! It’s almost as if the earliest form of Islam was actually the Nabataen religion with it’s polytheistic God named Allah, not the God of the Abrahamic faith whose true name is never mentioned in Islamic sources.
It’s time to free yourself from the lies you have been fed all your life Ibrahim. You can achieve your salvation, but not through following a satanic cult like islam. Turn to the light and truth of the true Abrahamic faith. Jesus is your salvation.

Yes, Flavius, but sadly there is an old Persian legend that is painfully true: A man saw Jesus fleeing at top speed past him. In amazement, he asked our Lord: “You have raised the dead and cleansed lepers. What could you possibly not defeat?” To which our Lord replied: “Yes, I have raised the dead and cleansed lepers, but no one can teach wisdom to a fool.” Yes, we must enlighten the ignorant, but most are intentionally so. They don’t want to know the truth. It’s like “To Serve Man” where earthlings think an alien cookbook is rather a tomb on humanitarianism. “Islam is a religion of peace, after all.” The peace of the tomb.

People can actually learn from history. A child is told the history of his parents, and seeing what they did that brought success, and what brought trouble, can make decisions about what to do and not to do.
History is taught in school for a reason. Perhaps the leaders of Austria are heeding the lessons of history, or they are just looking at the current events in the world, and seeing what will happen if they do not take steps to prevent it.
The maniac ruling Turkey wishes to believe it is solely on the basis of fear that Austria is taking these steps to limit turkey’s influence and to make the country more secure. He can’t allow himself to recall islam’s defeats.

That siege by Turkish followers of the worst religion of all time. i.e., Islam, was broken in 1683 on September 11th, courtesy of the Polish King, Jan Sobieski, who came to the rescue of Austria on that victorious day for Western Civilization—and which is why the cretin, Osama bin Laden, and his warped followers chose September 11th, 2001 to do the barbaric deeds that they did as payback for the West standing up to the monstrosity which is the Islamic faith on that particular day back in the 17th century.
Everyone who grasps how iniquitous Islam truly is should know this. Surely. Because the Islamic world has a long, collective memory and it is regularly used for the immensely nefarious purpose of continuing to try to spread across all the world the wretched faith inaugurated by the reputed founder of Islam, one Mohammed by name. Notice that “Falsafa” has nothing critical to say about either the Muslim attempt to violently conquer Western Europe or the recent slaughter of almost 3000 Americans by his devout coreligonists. *Very* telling.
Was 9/11 set on this date as “revenge” for the battle that led to the decline of the Caliphate? This certainly seems plausible–but it is horrific Muslim savagery regardless of whether the date was historically significant to savage Jihadists or not.
The date is sure as hell significant to “Falsafa’s” savage coreligionists *now*.

That there were some Christians who served as mercenaries to the Ottoman’s does not make their savagery any better.
And what “Falsafa” doesn’t say is that children were seized from Christian victims to fight as Janissaries if male or to be sold to the Harems if female. *This* is what he is praising. *Ugh*.
As for Jews, few survive in Turkey today, and even fewer in most of Dar-al-Islam. (Attaturk afforded them a small amount of protection while his secularist policies held. There have been slaughters of Jews in Turkey since.
As for his quoting the saying about the “Sultan’s Turban”–from Loukas Notaras, the last “grand duke” of the Byzantine Empire–“Falsafa” does not tell us what happened to him.
Despite being offered clemency along with his family after the fall of Constantinople to the Muslim invaders, they reneged, and executed him, his son, and his son-in-law. His wife was enslaved and died soon afterwards. His youngest son was sent to the Sultan’s Harem–he was later able to escape his terrible abuse there.
Meanwhile, thousands of Orthodox Christians fled to the West–including many Orthodox clerics–and lived very well in the West. These included his daughter Anna and her aunt, who were able to flee and became the focal point of the Byzantine expatriate community in Venice.

Where to start? Most spices were not “Muslim”–they were simply sold to Europe at huge mark-ups. Once Infidels learned now to navigate around the Muslim world to India and the East Indies, they simply bypassed the Muslim monopoly.
And while the history is not certain, most evidence for the origins of coffee use point to Ethiopia, at the time almost entirely a *Christian* country.
The reference to croissants is the most hilarious. The usual origin story of such pastries is *not* Muslim, but that they were created by Viennese bakers to commemorate their defense against the very siege cited above.
Then you find this Mohammedan trying to take credit for the work of Mozart and Beethoven.

Note that the dishonest article “Falsafa” cites is reduced to citing the example of Kadijah–who, notably, rose as a business woman not under Islam, but *before* Islam. No other one of Muhammed’s wives had any such freedoms.
Then it cites two women who were part of a delegation sent from a tribe swearing allegiance to Muhammed. These people were not, of course, Muslim.
Both of these examples just show that even in dark ages Arabia, women had *more* freedom pre-Islam.

Unsurprisingly, there seems to be no such book. Is B. Lewis a reference to Bernard Lewis? A Lord Kinross does appear to have written a book called “The Ottoman Empire”, though. There is also a book by Caroline Finkel, “Osman’s Dream, History of the Ottoman Empire 1300-1923”.
“Falsafa’s” implication that Finkel presents a glowing image of the savage Ottoman Empire is hardly honest–for instance, she chronicles the brutal liquidation of the Christian Janissaries.

Wellington says
Falsafa: The siege began in July of 1683 and the battle was fought on the 11th and 12th of September.
As for bigotry, bigotry is built into the Islamic theological blueprint. Muslims are “the best of “peoples” (Sura 3:110) and Jews and Christians are “the vilest of creatures” (Sura 98.6). 64% of the Koran is either about waging war upon non-Muslims “until all religion is with Allah” (Sura 8:39) or despising them (e.g., Sura 60:4). The hadiths and sira only confirm the awfulness of Islam and its warped, psychopathic founder.
Respecting awful treatment of other people by the West, every culture has treated others badly. American Indians were barbarous to one another, ditto for sundry sub-Saharan African tribes, Asian cultures aplenty were awful to their “neighbors” and the Islamic world has a far more extensive role in barbaric conquest and slavery than does the West. Moreover, the West has profusely apologized for its wrongdoings but the Islamic world has apologized for nothing even though it has so much to apologize for.
Meanwhile, just since 9/11 there have been over 33,000 documented Islamic terrorist attacks worldwide. The barbarism of Islam never ceases and Islam as much as Nazism and Marxism is a mortal enemy of liberty.
Take your distorted views that are easily refuted elsewhere. You will make no progress here at Jihad Watch. Begone, distorter.

Wellington – great demolition job on Falsafa.
Falsafa – your taqiyya will get you nowhere on this site. We are seasoned counter-jihadists well read in Islamic literature and history. Islam is a vile ideology with a thin veneer of religiosity, invented by a psychopath, followed by hopelessly deluded automatons like you.
Wellington says
Falsafa: I have read a fair amount about the Ottomans and I acknowledge that some of the Sultans were very capable men, even at times humane, and that Ottoman soldiers and sailors were often first-class fighting men, but all this is beside the point.
My overall point is that Islam is rotten to the core. It is the only major religion which is totalitarian in structure and ideology, as Bertrand Russell, himself a completely non-religious man, pointed out in his work from almost a century ago, The Practice and Theory of Bolshevism. This is why Russell compared Islam to fascism and Marxism, two other totalitarian ideologies, only secular ones.
Islam can be easily discredited for numerous reasons. Three of them are 1) demanding death for apostasy (proof of this lies with such Islamic sources as Sura 4:89 of the Koran and 9.84.57 of the Bukhari Hadith) and no major school of Islamic theology to this day, Sunni or Shiite, has repudiated this heinous Islamic doctrine; 2) the sanctioning of the rape of non-Muslim women as found, among other Islamic sources, in Suras 4, 23, 33 and 70 of the Koran—-“what the right hand possesses” and other rot along these lines; and 3) the character of the reputed founder of Islam—Mohammed ordered thousands killed, raped women, built a fire on a man’s chest; tolerated no criticism of himself (examples being the deaths of Asma bint Marwan and Abu Afak)—he was a psychopath, narcissist and even a pedophile (Aisha).
Islam is like no other religion on earth and is the only major religion which is a dire menace to liberty and equality under the law. Wherever Islam dominates a Jim Crow system is established based not on race but on belief with non-Muslims pure second-class citizens or even worse. As for Muslim women, if they are “obedient and cover themselves” (from Sura 4:34) then they will be treated essentially as high-class slaves with certain perquisites, but should they not be obedient to men, deny their husband sex, then, again per Sura 4:34, they are “to be sent to beds apart and beaten.” Only a fool or a liar would ever claim that women in Islam are equal to men or anywhere close to equal. Averring such doesn’t even pass the laugh test.
So, Falsafa, forget the Ottomans. Concentrate on what I have said about Islam, the worst religion ever created by man. It is beyond wretched and a burden to all of the human race. It also is a recipe for the stultification of the mind. Doubt me? Well then, just look at how “productive” the Islamic world has been for many centuries now. It has developed virtually nothing and uses Western technology to enrich itself or to make war on the West. Do you really think that the Islamic world would have ever figured out on its own how to get oil out of the ground and then refine it, or would have built railroads, cars, planes, satellites, phones, tanks, aircraft carriers, computers, etc.? The Islamic world has been abysmal and that is because Islam is a prescription without peer for the closing of the mind—and the heart.

The European says
Surely, Jan Sobieski III and his Polish soldiers contributed largely to the victory over the Ottoman Turks, but there were others whose contribution to victory was not less important:
The 11500 soldiers of the garrison of Vienna, commanded by Count Ernst Rüdiger of Starhemberg, 18500 other Austrian troops under the command of Charles V, Duke of Lorraine, 19000 Franconian, Swabian and Bavarian troops led by Prince Georg Friedrich of Waldeck, and 9000 Saxon troops whose commander was the Elector of Saxony, George III. Even Prince George of Hanover ( the future King George I of England) arrived with 600 cavalry men at the gates of Vienna.
The Polish king supplied the Holy League with the largest contingent of troops ( about 30000), but the mastermind of the battle was Charles V, Duke of Lorraine, a faithful servant of Leopold I, the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. He devised a masterplan and the battle was fought victoriously along his guidelines. A most brilliant commander who could have easily claimed the supreme command of the alliance. But he didn’t. When all the princes, dukes, and kings quarreled aboutl eadership, he voted for Jan Sobieski III who was given the supreme command.. Sobieski was a capable warrior, but he was also conceited and quite thirsty for glory, the Duke of Lorraine was unselfish and his only ambition was to win the battle for the Christian cause.
The anti-Ottoman coalition took a long time to form and when the relief troops finally arrived in September 1683, the ituation was very critical.
The siege had begun in July 1683, von Starhemberg and his men had already fought off 18 major Turkish assaults, Ottoman troops had captured the outer fortifications , Turkish sappers had blown up huge parts of the city walls, and only one third of the 11500 defenders of Vienna was fit to fight on.
But why was there no relief? Why did the troops of the coalition not arrive?
At the beginning of the siege Leopold I called out for help, but Pope Innocent XI had to put his full weight behind Leopold’s appeal to be answered. The Pope negotiated with Louis XIV, the French “sun king” but to no avail. He wouldn’t join the fight. His deeply ingrained hatred of the Hapsburg got the better of him and he preferred his anti-Hapsburg policies over pan-European solidarity, when Europe was in dire straits because of the onslaught of Ottoman Islam.
Then, Pope Innocent XI went to the Polish king: He would be part of an anti-Ottoman alliance, but he asked for subsidies; and the Pope granted him subsidies, thus purchasing his support.
Finally, the Pope dealt with about 30 German princes, persuading them to join the fray.
This was not an easy task, and it was time-consuming, but he was successful in forging the alliance. Had there not been the Pope and his magisterial skillfulness or the ardent fervour of men like the Capuchin Monk Marco d’Aviano and his fiery preaching, the outcome would have been different. Most probably, the Turks would have taken the city of Vienna, killing, pillaging and raping for days, and gathering their troops for the final assault on Central and Western Europe.
But at that time, the Church knew the way, she was Christian Europe’s staunch defender and the champion of Western civilization.
This time, Europe was saved by Austrians, Germans, Poles and the Catholic Church who fought side by side against the savage hordes of Islam.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
Excellent summary ‘The European’! Very nice.
I hope that readers will note that this coalition was negotiated and not order (as the Sultan would do).
It is disappointing to think that the Sun King hoped for Vienna’s defeat. (Louis 14 thought he could beat the Turks after Vienna’s fall and become master of Europe.)

Here is the acid test, Falsafa. You can come here to this site and post any belief that you hold (within the limits of the law) and be completely safe. The worst that can happen to you is that your opinions are rebutted. (Perhaps some will call you dirty names as you did.)
However, if I were to go to a site that promoted your opinions and attempted the same name calling rebuttal that you engaged in then I would not feel safe for doing so. There would be a good chance that I would be found out and those of your ilk would attempt to destroy my life. In fact, I would feel my life threaten. (If you deny this then why are people like our beloved Robert Spencer required to engage security details. Why is Molly Norris in hiding?)
That’s the difference. So keep your arrogant moral relativism to yourself; you have no credibility here.
As far as the date September 11 is concerned, my understanding is that it is mere coincidence. The Turks would, as a matter of procedure, break sieges and pull out military no later than the middle of September in order to avoid being caught in a retreat in inclement weather.
And your accusations regarding Amerindians is pure guilt deflection. The most seasoned criminals use it all the time.
And regarding all of your great “gifts” like coffee, etc. I have to ask the rhetorical question: who did you steal those from? Nothing, absolutely nothing that Mohammadism and its purportedly attendant culture has is original. All of it, and I repeat, ALL OF IT, was stolen from someone else. Mohammadism is, more than anything else, duplicitous. Its adherents regularly engage in and/or support murder, lying and thievery. It is a curse to humanity. Until the true nature of the Koran and Sunnah are well known to all, this curse will continue to plague us.
Oh, and by the way, by its correct definition, bigotry is intolerance to differing opinions, and that, Falsafa, makes you the biggest bigot of all.

Wellington. I have always been in full agreement with your clearly and forcibly expressed views on Islam. You are right to say the Islamic world has a long collective memory. The formal abolition of the Ottoman Sultanate was performed by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 1 November 1922. I have long suspected it is the intention of the Islamic world, and specifically an ambition of Erdogan, to reestablish the Caliphate by 1 November 2022. Most observers of Islamic jihad probably believe this unlikely within a four year four month timescale but a lot can happen in that time. Most European countries are vulnerable to Islamic takeover or at least an attempted takeover. I believe the massive influx of Mohammedans into Europe is part of the Islamic strategy. Such a takeover is a stated objective of the Muslim Brotherhood. Perilous times are ahead.
Wellington says
Thanks for your comments, IanB. Interesting point you made about 2022 being so important to so many Muslims. Well, let’s deny them because denying Muslims what they want is important if freedom is to survive.
IanB says
You’re welcome Wellington.
Yes, Islam should be challenged, resisted, and denied at every opportunity. I’ll drink a toast to that thought with a choice Kentucky rye whiskey right now. Cheers! With my best wishes to you. Ian B.
Wellington says
Best wishes to you too, IanB, and to those whom you hold closest to your heart as I hold my wife to mine.
And I will drink a toast to both our thoughts about this “matter’ with a fine alcoholic beverage, a Yuengling Porter, made by the oldest brewery in America (1829) right here in the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which I have been a proud resident of all my life and which was established by a man, William Penn, who had a greater grasp of liberty, even though he lived as far back as the 17th century, than the Islamic world has to this very day. Indeed, the freest place on earth in the late 17th and early 18th century was Pennsylvania, compliments of a human being who exceeded any Muslim who has ever lived.
Best to you and yours. BTW, my dear and lovely wife, being from West Virginia as she is, does indeed prefer a fine Kentucky rye whiskey to almost any other “elixir,” as you seemingly do as well. For the record and all that. Take care. Now, back to the fight.

Austria does not “act against muslims” due to “fear of Turks” dating from 1683 siege of Vienna.
Austria acts against muslims because they adhere to a sick and despicable ideology.
Richard says
The lifting of the Siege of Vienna by the Poles had so many wonderful things about it. One of the greatest was and old blind Pole who desperately wanted to take part in the battle, so he had his two sons ride into battle with him, each holding one of his horse’s reins on either side wile he leveled his lance in the center and, if he survived the first onslaught, to continue battling with his sword. It is a typical example of Polish courage that made their heavy cavalry for centuries the greatest in thee world. It’s most famous moment was its charge against a Nazi tank formation in World War II. All the Polish cavalrymen were killed. What is forgotten is that that same Polish cavalry earlier attacked another Nazi tank column and amazingly won the battle. Over the years, Poland withstood ninety-three major Muslim attacks on heir homeland. The Poles make good friends, but terrible enemies.

Lockheed Martin sells aircraft to the Turks and Boeing wants to sell aircraft to the Iranians. Like the old days when a European engineer helped the Turks design and build their cannons – the same cannons that were used to bring down Western fortifications.
You would think that we would have learned a thing or two since then. Learned to punish (or at least call out) these criminal acts of collaboration.

Newsflash of the day:
The chess move lately by the elite seems to be to portray anyone who respects their borders and related laws, and national sovereignty, as somehow cold blooded, brutal, and cruel. The strategy is meant to push people in the opposite direction towards an open border policy and a one world government.
It is noteworthy that certain world leaders along with the pope held a meeting as to what to do about the new leadership in some of the EU nations that are more right wing and opposed to the migrant invasions. One may have pulled out a plan for the drawing board that includes the strategy of mud slinging countries who stick to their border laws and sovereignty and this may be part of the result of that strategy playing out.
Hopefully they will stick to their guns and not cave in to the appeals to false pity.

The largest cavalry raid in all history to this date occurred when 18,000 Polish heavy lancers and 3000 Hapsburgs defeated the Turkish army at the gates of Vienna in 1683.
Richard says
And each of those Polish heavy cavalrymen personally paid for everything except their own lances. Those streamers they wore attached to their armor were magnificent psychological weapons. They agave off a sort of whistling screaming sound that so worked upon the nerves of those they were charging that they often caused many of their enemies to flee the field in terror. In the Napoleonic Wars, One foggy morning just before a battle, Napoleon looked through his telescope and saw a line of cannons that would have endangered his infantry attack, so he ordered his Polish cavalry to “Charger the cannons!” They did, but in the heavy fog, neither the Poles nor Napoleon could see that directly behind the first battery of cannons stood another line of cannons at some distance, with yet a third battery some distance behind that. The Poles easily took the first line, and, seeing the second, followed orders and continued their attack to destroy it. Upon doing so, they spotted the third battery and commenced their suicidal charge and took it out, though with almost unbelievable carnage. Reaching the scene after the battle, Napoleon, sobbing, knelt beside the seriously wounded Polish commander, removed his Legion of Honor from his own uniform and pinned it to the Polish officer’s uniform. Amazingly, the Polish officer survived, but such valor is typical of Poles, cavalry or not.

Sad believing people must die, but Islam is, and has been, headed for war with any force that opposes it for many centuries. Chatillon says
Until such time as the Turks, Arabs and other benighted peoples afflicted with the psycho-spiritual disease of Mohammedism get cured of it, other peoples will be well-advised to remember the vicious history of Mohammedism.
A new wrinkle in this very old war is the alliance of leftist enablers with the Mohammedan jihadis. It is these traitors who would stifle clear definition of the enemy, the cause of the conflict and the all-too easy and practical solutions to the problem of resurgent Mohammedism (e.g. border control, summary deportation of law breakers, equal enforcement of the law for ALL residents, end of foreign aid to hostile polities, death penalty for egregious acts of premeditated violence done in the name of jihad, military tribunals –NOT civil courts– for trial of jihadi acts, simply declaring a jihadi attack to BE a jihadi attack, for crying out loud, etc. etc. etc.
You can see how the hands of the West have been tied. The simple remedies listed above would have saved so much in terms of lives and treasure. Instead we are confounded by the propaganda spewing forth from the complicit media outlets. And the people still largely appear to be asleep. We should pray they don`t die in their sleep.
And yet rousing them will itself be a thankless job. The dreams are too deep: Be nice! All religions are basically the same! Same goes for cultures! Truth is relative! Who am I to judge? –Each of these maxims provide reinforcement to the mamby-pamby politically-correct universe we live in. A universe in which “Do not molest!” bracelets are seriously expected to ward off the jihadi-rapists!
Our first line of attack is to challenge politically-correct propaganda at every turn. But be warned: some of the first casualties of this counter-attack may be the relations we have with our loved ones. Prayer for wisdom, patience, perseverance, fortitude and so much more is a MUST.
And if you don’t believe in God, may God help you.

More BS from a muslim. Islam invented nothing except a cult that is commanded to murder and rape. Everything that muslims lay claim to was stolen from the kafirs. Why is it that us kafirs live in Great civilizations while all islamic countries still live in the 7th, barbaric and backward, century. Show me one islamic country that does not treat females as dogs. Show me one islamic country that does not kill any that call out your evil cult for the evil that it is. I can not wait for the day that islam folds like the deck of cards that it is. Islam is a lie built on lies and it can only be sustained by more lies and violence. You want to see how fast islam dies, get rid of apostasy laws. The stampede out of islam will be mind boggling.
Yusuf al-Qaradawi, head of the Muslim Brotherhood and one of the most respected leaders of Sunni Islam. Said:
“If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment islam wouldn’t exist today. Islam would have ended since the death of the prophet. Opposing apostasy is what kept islam to this day.”

Very amusing to imagine that Austrians might even now, after over 300 years, be nervous about Islamic invasion. Some of them alive today lived through the disaster of 1938 and the horror years that followed, when right wing knuckle-dragging morons reduced their nation and half the world to chaos. Many more Austrians have learned of these abominations first hand from parents and grandparents. I’m not at all sure that conquest by the Ottomans could have been any more horrific than what they experienced so recently. I wonder if Mr Spencer covers these events in his history.
Of course, as seen not long ago in Charlottesville, right-wing blockheads are still with us, and were given encouragement by their addlebrained President. It’s a warning to us all.

The disaster of 1938 was caused by socialist or left wing “knuckle-dragging morons” the Nazis. The left is so far down the evil road of trying to destroy democracy that if not stopped you or me or anyone will no longer be allowed to speak. Look at poor Tommy in the UK. Now why do leftest embrace the most evil and vile cult the world has ever known, islam??? Remember that islam even supported the Nazis and even fought for the Nazis, birds of a feather flock together. Austria is waking up and will fight back against the left and islam who seem to be in bed together. You think that anyone with half a brain can not see you for what you are a troll trying to put the blame of the evil going on is this world on to the right when it is the Left that owns MSM when it is the left that indoctrinates young minds to the lies of leftest ideology. It is the left that is shutting down free speech it is leftest that are the new Nazis in free countries. And the left is an enabler of the satanic cult of islam. We will defeat the leftest Nazis and we will defeat islam, both of these evil groups will not destroy freedom or “right” thinking people that value life and love. Now unless you want to the speak truth suggest you get lost.

“Very amusing?” you say? What vaunted perch are you looking down from?
May I remind you that the National Socialists of Germany were “inspired” in their practice of extermination by the Ottoman genocide of the Armenians?
May I also point out that the National Socialists of Germany, the International Socialists of the USSR and its satellites all sought to replace the culture of their host countries with a ginned-up “Kultur” of their own? Doesn’t sound very conservative, right-wing, to me.
That cultural appropriation was attempted in the US as well. Why is there such a political
disconnect between so-called “folk singers” (think Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Phil Ochs) and the ordinary people of the regions they purportedly take their inspiration from? You know, the Despicables?
The Ottomans/Mohammedans and leftists have presented alternative cultures to the world. There are some who remember without fondness those times. You apparently are not one of them.
Falsafa says
Chatillion – you making stuff up to suit your whims and fancy. The nazis carried out their genocide after many centuries of pogroms, inquisitions and massacres in Europe against the Jews. That’s why they called it the ‘Final Solution’. Not suprised so you would fall into the Armenian, Tashnak, Asala propaganda trap.

Actually, Hitler very much based the Holocaust on the Armenian Genocide–he said so quite explicitly. Chatillon is right.
And look At “Falsafa’s” projection–he is characterizing Muslims wiping out all Christians in Turkey–Greek, Assyrian, and Levantine Christians were targeted as well as Armenians–as instead an attempt by Armenians to wipe out Muslim Turks.
This is grimly laughable–Muslims in Turkey wiped out almost the entire Christian population in Anatolia–between a million and a half to two million people. There is just a threatened remnant of Christians surviving in Turkey today.
Chatillon says
“You making stuff up to suit your whims and fancy” -from Falsafa
Provide one example of what I wrote that was made up. Just one example.
As for you, the contention that the Turks were justified in murdering 1.5 million men, women and children because of Armenian national ambitions says several things about the Turkish regime which appears damning indeed . Thus
1) If such ambitions were true, the Mohammedan regime felt completely at ease murdering these people to thwart those ambitions or
2) If the stated ambitions were not true, the Mohammedan regime felt completely at ease making up such a pretext to murdering 1.5 million souls.
Whatcha got to say to that, Chuckles?
Falsafa says
yes the Hitler quote is a complete fabrication;
“Following the beginning of Nuremberg Tribunals, The London Times published an article named “Na’zi Germany’s Road to War” on Nov. 24, 1945. According to this anonymous article with no author or correspondent cited, Hitler had made a statement on the so-called ar’me’nian genocide during a speech he delivered on Aug. 22, 1939. The anonymous Times article also claimed that the document which contained the “Hitler quote” was submitted to the Nuremberg Tribunal as evidence and was registered to the court records as item “ L-3 ”.
The first appearance of this falsified quote was in a book entitled, “What About Germany?”, published in 1942. It is only this book in question and the unsigned Times article the “Hitler quote” can be traced, not to primary sources. Eventually, the item “ L-3 ” was later removed from the court records under the rule 10, which means “not being authentic or found untrustworthy”.”
