This is not just about the Southern border. Jihad Watch reported last April that “the U.S. Catholic bishops submitted a brief to the Supreme Court declaring that President Donald Trump’s ban on migration from five Muslim countries was ‘blatant religious discrimination.’”
Is it really?
And do the U.S. Catholic bishops feel any obligation to support measures that would protect Americans from jihad attacks? Apparently not. The message that the bishops are sending to Americans is simple: drop dead. The U.S. Catholic bishops appear to be absolutely unconcerned about the following facts: Somali Muslim migrant Mohammad Barry in February 2016 stabbed multiple patrons at a restaurant owned by an Israeli Arab Christian; Ahmad Khan Rahami, an Afghan Muslim migrant, in September 2016 set off bombs in New York City and New Jersey; Arcan Cetin, a Turkish Muslim migrant, in September 2016 murdered five people in a mall in Burlington, Washington; Dahir Adan, another Somali Muslim migrant, in October 2016 stabbed mall shoppers in St. Cloud while screaming “Allahu akbar”; and Abdul Razak Artan, yet another Somali Muslim migrant, in November 2016 injured nine people with car and knife attacks at Ohio State University. 72 jihad terrorists have come to the U.S. from the countries listed in Trump’s initial immigration ban.
What’s more, all of the jihadis who murdered 130 people in Paris in November 2015 had just entered Europe as refugees. In February 2015, the Islamic State boasted it would soon flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees. The Lebanese Education Minister said in September 2015 that there were 20,000 jihadis among the refugees in camps in his country. On May 10, 2016, Patrick Calvar, the head of France’s DGSI internal intelligence agency, said that the Islamic State was using migrant routes through the Balkans to get jihadis into Europe.
The bishops have never expressed any concern about any of this. They are completely in line with Pope Francis, who has claimed risibly that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.” This has become a superdogma in the Catholic Church: if you don’t believe that Islam is a Religion of Peace, you will be ruthlessly harassed and silenced by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the hierarchy elsewhere as well. The bishops of the Catholic Church are much more concerned that you believe that Islam is a religion of peace than that you believe in, say, the Nicene Creed. And so what possible reason could there be to be concerned about these “refugees”? It’s a religion of peace!
The bishops, of course, have 91 million reasons — indeed, 534 million reasons — to turn against the truth and disregard the safety and security of the American people: “In the Fiscal Year 2016, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) received more than $91 million in government funding for refugee resettlement. Over the past nine years, the USCCB has received a total of $534,788,660 in taxpayer dollars for refugee resettlement programs.”
And now, with Catholics all over the country, some quite prominent, publicly denying basic aspects of the Catholic Faith, the U.S. bishops are considering barring people from communion for their political views.
“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)
It was not always thus. For centuries, in fact, as I detail in my forthcoming book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, the Catholic Church was at the forefront of efforts to resist jihad aggression in Europe. In it, you’ll discover:
- The Pope who was a true precursor of Pope Francis: he was harshly criticized by the Romans for failing to keep them safe from jihad attacks;
- The Pope who answered a Byzantine Emperor’s call for help against the jihadis not by scolding him about how Islam was peaceful, but by calling on the rulers of Europe to send troops;
- The Medieval Pope who called Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, a “son of perdition,” and called for Christians to unite against the advancing jihad;
- What happened when a Mongol ruler sent an emissary across Central Asia and into Europe to meet the Pope and seek an alliance with the Christians against the forces of jihad;
- The Pope who haughtily refused to come to the aid of the Christian Byzantine Empire when it was mortally threatened by jihadis, because of doctrinal differences;
- The Pope who took a solemn oath at his consecration to “extirpate the diabolical sect of the reprobate and faithless Mahomet”;
- The Pope who touched off worldwide Muslim riots by noting that “God is not pleased by blood”;
- Much more.

“Catholic bishops call Trump’s asylum rules ‘immoral,’ with one suggesting ‘canonical penalties’ for those involved,” by Michelle Boorstein, Washington Post, June 13, 2018 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):
Leading U.S. Catholic bishops on Wednesday escalated their criticism of the Trump administration’s immigration policies, calling new asylum-limiting rules “immoral” and rhetorically comparing the crackdown to abortion by saying it is a “a right-to-life” issue.
One bishop from the U.S.-Mexico border region reportedly suggested “canonical penalties” — which could refer to withholding the sacrament of Communion — for Catholics involved in implementing the Trump policies.
The comments came as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops — the organizing body of bishops — gathered for a biannual meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The topics of migration and asylum have long been a focus for the U.S. church; more than 50 percent of U.S. Catholics under the age of 30 are Latinos….

I say this as a traditional Catholic who loves his holy Faith: The Faith has ALWAYS supported a nation protecting its borders. The only restriction on that was that you couldn’t fight on a holy day. Ever hear of St. Joan of Arc? What we have now are opportunistic wolves in sheep’s clothing solemnly declaring in the spirit an insane Emperor: “The laws of Rome are what I say they are!” This crazy attack on national sovereignty is certainly to limited to helping Islam conquor the world. Go to a Catholic Mass on Sunday, take your Bible with you and mark the readings in advance so you can follow them. You will notice that the scripture readings have been edited to remove denunciations of sins such as adultery and homosexuality. It is no wonder the churches are emptying almost as fast as if someone in them screamed “Fire!!!” Well, the fire the bishops must worry about is the fire of hell. This is NOT the Catholic religion!! To quote an ancient writer on Rome’s destruction of an enemy: “They have created a desert and called it ‘Peace'”.
This is not the first time the bishops have acted crazy. Years ago, they tried the same thing about Catholics who voted for an anti-illegal-immigration bill in California. On a more well-known occasion, the bishops ordered Catholics not to see Mel Gibson’s movie, “The Passion of The Christ” because they preached it would cause massive rioting and massacres of Jews. In fact, that was certainly not the case. Those seeming experts on Catholicism seem to have never discovered that the Catholic religion worships a Jew as God and glorifies His Jewish mother to the highest possible degree. All of the Apostles were Jews, as were almost all of the original Catholics. Scripture relates how early Catholics were spying on one another in the latrines to see if someone hadn’t been circumcised. Jews wrote the Bible, yet the bishops felt they had to protect them because, as any Democrap can tell you, fear-mongering is where the money is.

Richard: Thank you for your heartfelt and sincere post. Were I a Catholic it would break my heart to see what has happened to the Catholic Church in our time. For the record, and as I have written before here at JW, I trace the genesis of this rot to Vatican II (1962-1965).
Pope John XXIII (1958-1963) did a very foolish thing, i.e., he attempted to fix something that wasn’t broken. This is the “essence” of what Vatican II “accomplished.” Vatican II ushered in relativistic thinking which is antithetical to the absolutist thinking that had been a hallmark of the Catholic Church until then. It also insured other damage such as the effective destruction of the greatness and beauty of the Latin Mass. Thus, for my money, John XXIII should go down as one of the most destructive Popes in history, right up there with Francis I, some of the Renaissance Popes like Alexander VI and Urban VI (the latter Early Renaissance and coming right after the Avignonese period of the Papacy) and a few even earlier Popes such as Benedict IX (11th century).
Though not religious at all, I want a strong, inspired, muscular and sapient Roman Catholic Church, including Popes like the previous one, Benedict XVI, who had a clear understanding of what should be defended and what should not be, examples being national borders and the clear superiority of religions like Christianity and Judaism over a religion such as Islam, because a Catholic Church which has its act together can be in the forefront of defending what really matters, including freedom and equality under the law, two great things pioneered by Western Civilization such as no other civilization ever has. Alas, and ever increasingly, this Catholic Church of old is fading away. What a waste. What a terrible waste. Hence we have wretched excuses for ambassadors of Catholicism in our age such as the present Pope and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
My condolences. You deserve them as do many other Catholics presently feeling horribly betrayed by so many of the clergy of the Catholic Church.
Hari Singh says
The Catholic church has been in slow decline for centuries and now the final act is upon us. Over the centuries it has become legalistic and intellectual rather than devotional or mystical.
As the gatekeeper of Western Civilization the Roman Catholic Church demise bodes ill for the West.
In India what saved India from Islam was a spiritual revival that gave Hindus the strength to stand up to Islam unto death. There is a prophecy in Russia that the Russian Orthodox church will lead a revival of religion in Europe.
I saw the spiritual malaise when I was in the Israel/Holy Land on my last visit. The Western Christians were just sadly to say ”spiritual tourists” while those from Orthodox countries; I saw Russians, Rumanians and Greeks, were truly there in a devotional way movingly singing hymns and praying along with their priests. A few African Catholics acted devotionally as well.
Only a massive strong spiritual revival that sees Islam as a perversion of religion will save the West.
Mary Ann Harter says
I totally agree. I’m ashamed at my Church. It makes no sense to hand out communion to pro-choice Senators and then threaten to withhold it to the Faithful for their political opinions on immigration. How can the Catholic Church not condemn a religion that specifically denies the Divinity of Jesus in its religious text? Wasn’t Muhammed a true Anti-Christ? The proper response to Islam is opposition in any way necessary. As you noted, other Pope’s understood the threat. I hope we get Cardinal Burke as our next Pope.
Carolyne says
Why is Latin more “Great” than English or any other language? Jesus didn’t speak Latin and most Catholics do not understand it. Why is a mass said in a language no one understands more “Great” than one which is in the local vernacular? No one, except Catholic priests perhaps, even speaks Latin. It seems to me that a mass said in Latin would have no meaning for those who hear it and do not understand the language.

For about 40 years, I’ve refrained from attending or supporting the church I was born and raised in. The child molesting scandal and the Church’s dishonesty in dealing with it was the reason. If the Church had shown true contrition for its role and vigorously rooted that sin out of its heart, I would’ve happily returned to the fold.
Not anymore. I will not follow a religion that uses the threat of eternal damnation to manipulate its members for political reasons in this life.
My break with the Roman Catholic Church is now complete and irrevocable. The Roman Catholic Church is dead to me.

How very peaceful and tolerant.

Dear Annie Oakley: Please do not blame the Church for some of its execrable leaders. I am broken-hearted about the poisoned fruit of Vatican II, but have found a traditional chapel with a wonderful priest where I go to Mass, or I would be in exactly your position. There are many traditional chapels following the real pre-Vatican II Catholic religion. There is probably one in your area. Check it out on you computer. Yes, some of the priests are nuts, but most are not. also, it is now legal under Rome’s laws to go to the Tridentine Mass and it accepts chapels such as the SSPX. We have Fr. Carley in Wheeling, who drives all the way down from his church in Akron to offer our Mass every Sunday. Remember, Scripture warned about the Church’s present condition. God bless you for your anger toward it! T
WESTPAC Spy says
Actually the “era of the inquisition” never ended. After all, what is an inquisition? It’s simply an investigation. An inquisitor is someone who investigates. The current name of what is commonly thought of as the Office of Inquisition is the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and continues to be a body in the Roman Curia.
Burning people at the stake was never an option for churchmen, ever. That was up to temporal authorities such as the king of France. Now, an inquisition may well have led up to that result, but the Church could never carry out such a verdict. And for bonus points I’ll let you in on a secret. During medieval times prisoners in what were typically royal jails would often commit acts of heresy to get transferred to an inquisition jail because the living conditions in church-run jails were better, the food was better, and the punishments lighter. Pro tip: you don’t want to end up in a medieval jail ever.
But withholding sacraments, excommunication, sure. That’s within the authority of the Church.
Are you with me so far? Because none of that is the problem with most remaining Catholics.
What’s the problem is that this conclave of (expletive deleted) can’t work up this kind of anger against so-called Catholic abortion pushers that they are now easily working up against ICE and Border Patrol Agents.
Say What?!? The men who turned Catholic seminaries into gay bath houses will continue to give communion to Nancy Pelosi but refuse it to Border Patrol Agent Miguel Cardenas. And there may well be a Border Patrol Agent named Miguel Cardenas, I dunno. I simply made it up because so many unsung heroes down on the border are Hispanic. I’m Italian, I take a back seat to no one when it comes to patriotism. Hell this whole damn continent is named after one of my antecedents. And if you’re in Kali and driving on I-5 between L.A. and Sandy Eggo don’t let me hear that you passed Basilone Road without bowing your head.
That said I’ve met too many Hispanic patriots to entertain the thought that illegal immigration is a winning issue.

WESTPAC Spy says
A winning issue for the left, I must add. Which it isn’t. It’s simply the left pointing at a bunch of people and saying, “You belong to this designated group which we have created, and you’ll take what we give you and like it.”
Inevitably you get push back. Like here in Texas. There are Americans of Hispanic origin who were never “Mexican American” because when the Tejanos joined the Texicans and revolted against Santa Ana there was no such thing as a Mexican. And when they complain they are convicted without trial of treason. Then on to to today when the Democrats for lack of a better term insist on composting a bunch of people together who only have one thing in common. They are south of the border.
“Jesus effin’ Christ,” I say as a Christian, “is this really how you want to live?” Now, I could be wrong, I could be playing with fire, but I interpret the commandment against taking the LORD’S name in vain a commandment against doing evil and saying it is God’s will. Which I will never do.
And lumping a bunch of people together who have nothing not even a language in common is in my estimation evil.

If it thinks that Muslims, leaving Islam, will join Catholicism, then I have a magic carpet and an ever-flowing porridge bowl to sell them. I’ll even throw in some wood from the original cross.
There is something odd about the American arm of the church, headed primarily by European descendents, serving as priests for 40% hispanic congregations. Do they really see their congregations and the new asylum seekers as equals or childlike; needing protection by those “who know best”?

Mexican priests are in short supply. The faith was outlawed in Mexico in the 1920s and Mexican soldiers destroyed many churches, killing he priests and attending Mass and in some cases raping the women to death. That began a revolution. Today, the Church is still illegal in Mexico, but nothing is done about it, other than banning priests and nuns for wearing their habits in public.

Um…no. Catholicism has never been outlawed in Mexico, although the government has persecuted the church (for instance, in 1917 the state took possession of all Church properties).
Still, about 83% of Mexicans are Catholic.
In fact, Mexico has the highest number of Catholics of any nation in the world save the much more populous Brazil.
And most of the last vestiges of anticlerical laws were removed in 1992–most of which had not been enforced for some time. The Catholic Church is *not* illegal in Mexico.

If the Vatican were not weakened by an impostor, the papal nuncio would reprimand the bishops for their part in this court case. The bishops probably see their brief as theological, but they fail to tie it to theological directive.

For example, porous borders enable criminal gangs of hooligans ,as MS- 13 , to enter the USA and commit heinous crimes rapes ,murders drug dealing and this street gangsters of MS-13 ,for a price, have smuggled Muslim terrorists into the United States .Walter .

Another strange things about that conference of US Catholic bishops who called the President safety and security policy about immigration control “immoral” First, none of those might had ever experienced being a crime victim by an illegal migrant. by the illegal migrant of MS-13 hooligan of some other vicious thug. Those bishops show no real empathy towards crime victims How unchristian of them. Second, as far as far as the use of the word “immoral” is concerned, not to get too much off the subject . This still strongly bring to might that, as far a I know , those same US Catholic bishops held no conference and made no denouncement of those US catholic priests who engaged in sex abuse with children .That was immoral. So its only when bashing President Trump’s immigration policy calling it immoral Those bishops speak out but they appear not to be interested in the other “immoral” subject .On that they remain silent

Not a member, but totally against the killing of unborn children. Not noticed that these guys have said much against that lately.
Comparing a “crackdown on illegal…a breaking of established law…”immigration,’ to killing the unborn, is beyond disgusting.
Much has been made of the group now being jailed for crossing the border illegally…breaking the law to get in…and the separating of the adults and their children. This happens with anyone who breaks a law…robbery, drug dealing, assault…the children aren’t jailed in those cases.
Part of the story that is being ignored….the illegals crossing were told ahead of time…while on the road in Central America and Mexico…they would not be allowed in, they would be locked up if they crossed over. they were warned and they demanded entrance, and they came anyway.
Comparing what happened to them and their kids to what is done to unborn babies….john kerry is a Catholic and favors this practice of eliminating unwanted children…Did they allow him to “commune.”?
They make money from housing, feeding, clothing, etc. the moslims allowed in during the time of ‘o’.
Perhaps they see a way to do the same with these illegals from south of the border…and those who are Catholic…probably a large number…will make donations to the plates where these guys preach.
Sessions quoted from the Book of Romans about obeying the law and some people became angry. But he is right. Laws are..in theory at least, and in reality a lot…written to protect the innocent citizen from criminals. Anyone not obeying the laws are subject to prosecution and their children naturally suffer as a result.

Here is what Catholics should face “canonical penalties” for.
A Catholic priest who does not preach the Gospel to Muslims must be severely reprimanded.
A Catholic cleric who tells us alle these wretched lies about Islam must be excluded from Holy Communion.
A catholic prelate who takes off his cross while traveling in the Holy Land must be relieved from his duties ( like that German bishop called Marx and his Protestant counterpart Bedford-Strom who, while being in Jerusalem, took off their crosses because they didn’t want “to hurt the feelngs of our Muslim brothers.”)
A Catholic bishop who advocates harmful and stupid open-border policies, multiculturalism and globalist ideology must be threatened with “canonical penalties.”
Any Catholic who tries to bring up non-sensical excuses for Muslim atrocities, who is downplaying the nefariousness of Islam, who is telling lies such as “Islam is a religion of peace,” “terrorist attacks have nothing to do with Islam,” “Islam teaches tolerance” etc.etc. is to be exposed as a liar.
Listen, all you popes and cardinals, bishops and priests, theologians and teachers of the faith!
You are the ones Isaiah was talking about when he said:
“”They hatch the eggs of vipers
and spin a spider’s web.
Whoever eats their eggs will die,
and when one is broken, an adder is hatched,
Their cobwebs are useless for clothing,
they cannot cover themselves with what they make.
Their deeds are evil,
and acts of violence are in their hands,” Isaiah 59,5-6
Yes, you are “hypocrites,” ( Matthew 23, 23-29) “blind guides,” (Matthew 15,14; Luke 6,39) “snakes and vipers,” (Matthew 3,7;Matthew 12,34; Matthew 23,33) “false teachers,” (2 Peter 2,1) and “whitewashed tombs” (Matthew 23,27).
Do not rejoice, do not think that God does not know your wicked ways. What fate God has prepared for you can be gathered from the reply which Zophar the Naamathite gave to Job. Read Job 20, 7-23, and open your hearts and minds.
Once, your church had been the heart of Christianity ( all the saints and martyrs and faithful who bore testimony of Christ: Saint Bernard of Claivaux, Saint Francis of Assisi, Bernadette Soubirous …), but now this heart has almost stopped beating.
Once, your church had been the mind of Christianity ( Pope Gregory I, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Cardinal John Henry Newman…), but now brain death seems to be imminent.
Once, your church had been the body of Christianity, but now this body is dying ( I don’t know how many practising Catholics there are still in Europe, but they are fewer each day).

Is it immoral to put locks on the doors of your house? Can those who carry a key be denied communion? Is it easier for an American bishop to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a Muslim to enter into Heaven without having been baptized? What is the Truth?

I would very much enjoy watching all Conservative Catholics boycott/ban the church and the vatican, and to send a very special message to this heinous pope and his klan.
BTW…. I’m an American of Italian roots, and was raised a Catholic. This pope makes me so very grateful to have left the Catholic church long ago. I’m a Christian. NOT Catholic.

So can someone on the Left PLEASE tell me:
1) Where were you when Bill Clinton signed this into law in 1997?
2) Where were you when Kate Steinle was ripped from her parents?
3) Where are you when 3000 babies LITERALLY get RIPPED apart every day?
4) Where were you when 0bama threw kids into cages rather than comfortable rooms like Trump is doing?
5) Why do you Liberal Liars SUPPRESS the fact that TEN THOUSAND of the 12000 kids being held came here WITHOUT their parents, often with smugglers, so there aren’t parents for them to be ripped from in the FIRST place?

Sorry. This is one time that I will emphatically refuse to acknowledge the threats of US Catholic Bishops. First. They do NOT rule the state. The government does. Second. Since when does the Catholic Church threaten to withhold communion? Did they act so righteously in the matter of Mafia criminals, or indeed. Wealthy criminals of any kind, when it came to the last rites, communion and the like? Wanting to reduce their country to chaos the like of which we see in EU countries – and elsewhere – might suit their sensibilities and their faith, but thank God they are not running the country. I am a conservative Irish Catholic of very strong, faithful and devout standing, and I absolutely disagree with these bishops. Enough said.

Just appalling politicization of the Catholic faith, as well as suicidal demands that we continue to let rapists and murderers into the United States. Ugly and insane.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
“One bishop from the U.S.-Mexico border region reportedly suggested “canonical penalties” — which could refer to withholding the sacrament of Communion — for Catholics involved in implementing the Trump policies.”
Strange how this wasn’t threatened against pedophilic priests. By the way, proven statistics show that at least 6% of these bishops are pedophiles.
I re-post here a comment I posted several months ago on this problem. I believe the two issues are related:
I think the source of the chronic, widespread, long-term corruption in the church is the implicit blackmail that catholic clerics hold over other catholic clerics. Let me explain: celibacy is not optional for the priesthood in the catholic church. (There are more and more non-celibates being let in, and this a good thing, but it is still rare.) And despite this universal acceptance that priests and nuns are to be celibate, it has been proven by Richard Sipe (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Sipe) that this is not the case. He has found that, “more than half [of catholic priests] were involved in sexual relationships.” When he says ‘sexual relationship’ he is not specifically referring to any one sexual orientation (heterosexual, homosexual, pedophilia, etc.). So about 50% of catholic priests, according to his research, are “not as advertized.” This makes these individuals susceptible to a blackmail of silence. It makes them think twice about speaking out about others in the priesthood since they know that they could be ‘uncovered’ in retaliation.
Sipe also states that priests are actually selected in the seminaries to be those individuals who don’t tend to speak up about wrongdoing.
So this is why pedophiles are able to hide within the ranks of the catholic church. (He estimates that pedophiles account for about 6% of all catholic priests.) These pedophiles are probably protected by the fact that ~50% of the other priests also have a dirty secret. So corruption, in an environment of secrecy, flourishes.
Sipe says that the only way to rid the church of this conspiracy of silence, this culture that is conducive to corruption, is to make celibacy optional. (He also states that the environment within the seminaries fosters sexual immaturity in men being trained for the priesthood.) I agree with him.
Postscriptum: In the light of Sipe’s research, the theory that Benedict was forced out, has a lot more credence. If Francis were to retire, and he has made comments to that effect, and the next pope were to take the opposite stance of migrants then all of these ‘yes’ men bishops would turn like weather vanes to a new wind.
The Free Thinker says
It’s interesting to note that islam denounces Christianity as blasphemy, yet the pope has no problem embracing islam. Curious. I, for one, support Trump, although i’m largely a Democrat. I often wonder if the pope has ever taken the time to actually read the qur’an? The qur’an states that the crucifixion of Christ was a hoax perpetrated by allah — the greatest of deceivers. How is it that the pope — if he is indeed a thinking man — can find the two religions even remotely compatible???
Jan Aage Jeppesen says
“The bishops of the Catholic Church are much more concerned that you believe that Islam is a religion of peace than that you believe in, say, the Nicene Creed.” (Robert Spencer).
Better also to believe in The Augsburg Confession from 1530, because it mentions Islam and condemn it as a Christian heresy in its first article:
“Our Churches, with common consent, do teach that the decree of the Council of Nicaea concerning the Unity of the Divine Essence and concerning the Three Persons, is true and to be believed without any doubting; …
They condemn all heresies which have sprung up against this article, as the Manichaeans, who assumed two principles, one Good and the other Evil- also the Valentinians, Arians, Eunomians, Mohammedans, and all such. …”
The Catholic Church never condemned Islam as a Christian heresy, but as a religion being morally inferior to Christianity and also to Judaism:
“It is hardly necessary here to emphasize the fact that the ethics of Islam are far inferior to those of Judaism and even more inferior to those of the New Testament.”
(The Catholic Encyclopedia, 1911).

Actually it would be better if you do not allow these “holy” men to interfere with your faith….
Catholics are being betrayed these days by these smug clergymen:I believe the challenge is to keep your faith in spite of the treachery. Can you imagine how angry Jesus Christ is at these men?
An entire chapter of the Gospel{matthew 23} is dedicated to a ferocious condemnation of such “holy” men:It still applies today……clergymen in authority are under a ferocious yoke if they fail!
The trick is,if you are catholic,to keep your faith in spite of these appaling clergymen.

Most of those Whited Sepulchres in the RCC Church administration should themselves not be receiving communion as they and their heretical “pope” francis are scandal-mongering heretics who preach falsehood ,especially these days when they teach things that in fact are contradictory to the catholic faith.
I’m sure the members of the USCCB will get the reference..from 1965..
“Many cardinals, many bishops, many priests are on the road to perdition and they are taking many souls with them”
And that, dear members of the USCCB was in ..1965!
How much worse has it become today after what these churchmen have done:scandalizing the faithful, emptying the churches, turning what was the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass into a circus with questionable liturgy.
If they bothered to know and understand the gospel warnings and prophetic teachings{see above..} of their own faith, these “holy” men would realize that,in terms of Divine Justice…they are on the endangered species list, starting with the great heretic in Rome, fradulent francis and his Opus Dei run church administration. It is outrageous what they are doing:especially since it is they who knowingly protected pederasts. And how many bishops have been jailed for that?

The Catholic Chrch has divided into three ever diminishing factions:
1. The American Catholics of which Mike Pence is a prominent member. They believe that the Bible rules.
2. The Latin Catholics or Traditional Catholics who are trying to figure out what to do.
3. The Vatican which is associated with Lucifer worship, Islam, Globalists, the World Council of Churches and other attempts to bolster its support base. The Vatican Cardinals are running up frequent flyer points trying to testify at Courts around the World about pedophilia. See George Pell in Melbourne, Australia as an example.
It would be logical for many traditional Catholics to jump ship for the American Catholic stream. That would decimate the Vatican support base. Other Catholics are bound to consider joining some Evangelical denomination.
Let us see hat happens. These are not happy days for Pope Francis.

Once again we have Western churches putting their own self-interest ahead of the entire population, just to assure they don’t lose their tax-free status and other benefits. And don’t expect any apologies for sexual assaults on minors any time soon. These people are as sick as Muslims and deserve to be banned from operating here. Let them go to Muslim countries where their religion won’t be approved but their actions will.

I’m glad I rejected organised religion at the age of seven. Sixty years later as a free-thinking, pantheist agnostic I enjoy communion by gazing at the night sky in wonderment or walking through a forest or drinking a good beer, quiet in thought, in my beautiful garden. These foolish, perfidious priests are an irrelevance to those who hold ourselves responsible to live a moral, ethical and rational life free of imposed dogma and superstitious absurdities.

Well, I guess the pope is tired of Catholics, he must be, since he figures he can just bar someone from communion for supporting Trump. Just think of all those little boys who were targeted by priest everywhere and the members of the catholic church stood by their pope, and yet the pope won’t stand by his congregation. Perhaps the pope is really not a man of god as he says he is, perhaps he is someone else disguising himself as the pope…..

It’s called ‘deflection’, or leading away from the truth. Impious Catholic leaders who pervert the word of God in their belief and teachings, support lawlessness. It’s what they’ve done in America and what they will continue to do, as they are obedient to the father of all lies.
