The 51-year-old “Klüh” security man Wolfgang S., who is on a break, wants to get a Coke and is therefore on the way to McDonald’s, is stabbed in the back — a murder attempt! The police convene a commission of inquiry.
Perpetrator is said to be a bottle collector
The culprit, a confused German-Tunisian (24), is apprehended minutes later by the Federal Police. The man is said to belong to the bottle collector scene, is known to the police, has come to their notice several times because of drugs.
Witnesses who saw the attack called for help. After an emergency operation, Wolfgang S. is out of danger to his life and is already in a normal hospital room….
However, the Witnesses’ reports on the process are pretty mixed up.
“Klüh” employees, for example, want to give information about the culprit. One reports: “He talks to himself, always collects bottles in the departure and arrival areas, and has already received a referral to airport authorities. A pretty aggressive guy. ”
The police cannot or do not want to confirm this, and just say that the offender gave the impression of being confused. A connection with bottle collection did not arise during the first investigation. The motive of the man is still completely unknown.

Employees of the security services of “Klüh” and “Kötter” have been complaining for months about the aggressive demeanor of bottle collectors in the departure and arrival areas.
One reports: “They make up to 50 euros a day, especially in the departure area, when passengers have to hand over their plastic bottles. There are already real turf wars.”
Airport sees no problem
Airport spokesman Thomas Kötter said: “We have no problem here. Bottle collectors are everywhere. If they’re too bold, we’ll intervene.”
