IRAQ is sentencing to death British jihadis who have travelled to the Middle East country to fight for Islamic State (ISIS) – and they are being hanged in a bid to protect Britain, according to a judge.
This is in stark contrast to the view of the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, who has thrown out a welcome mat to Islamic State jihadists, while stating — according to Canadian Baptist minister Steve Long — that “evangelical Christians were the worst part of Canadian society.”
Abdul Sattar Beraqdar, spokesman for the Supreme Judicial Council, said British members of ISIS deserve to die…. “The punishment, as much as it seems strong, will affect the security of your country….I am sure there are hundreds of people in Britain at this moment thinking of committing similar crimes.”
“British ISIS traitors HANGED in Iraq where judge says ‘we’re protecting Britain,’” by Rebecca Perring, Express, July 2, 2018:
IRAQ is sentencing to death British jihadis who have travelled to the Middle East country to fight for Islamic State (ISIS) – and they are being hanged in a bid to protect Britain, according to a judge.
A unknown number of UK citizens who left the country to join the Islamic terrorists are awaiting trial after they were captured on the battlefield in Iraq. Iraqi trials can last as little as 10 minutes and justice is swift and brutal.
Abdul Sattar Beraqdar, spokesman for the Supreme Judicial Council, said British members of ISIS deserve to die.
He said: “The punishment, as much as it seems strong, will affect the security of your country.
“I am sure there are hundreds of people in Britain at this moment thinking of committing similar crimes.
“That’s why we, as Iraqis, if we are tough in sentencing these people, they will think thoroughly before taking any action.”
His comments come after Iraq Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi ordered the execution of 13 convicted terrorists in retaliation after ISIS fighters killed eight hostages.
Mr Beraqdar said fighters with UK passports had already been sentenced and it was “possible” they would face the death penalty….
Era says
Good. Sad that we have to rely on others to do this, because we are too “high and mighty” to go the necessary steps.
There are VERY few instances where the death penalty is fully warranted.
This is one of them.
Paul says
I agree. There are times when the death penalty is waranted.Like the Nazis who where executed after ww2,ISIS have comited crimes against humanity.

Isis Is Us: The Shocking Truth Behind the Army of Terror
Did the “Islamic State” spring full-blown into spontaneous being as the fanatical scourge of the Middle East, or was it helped along by state sponsors?
There are uncanny parallels with Iran-Contra. In the 1980s, the Reagan team wanted to topple the government of Nicaragua, using mercenaries, or death squads, based in Honduras. But Congress passed a law against it. So they went around by financing the Contras via Iran.
Thirty years later, the hawks in Washington wanted to topple the elected governments of Libya and Syria, crush the popular resistance in Iraq, and split up those countries on ethnic lines. Once again, they wanted to do this using death squads. So they got around Congress by having Qatar and the Saudis finance it.
To set up the Sunni and Shiite death squads to fight each other in Iraq, they sent John Negroponte as ambassador to Baghdad in 2004. The same guy they sent to Honduras as ambassador from 1981 to 1985. Then in 2011 they sent some of those killers from Iraq to Libya to overthrow Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, with NATO air cover. From Libya, they were sent to Syria to start the killing there.
The U.S.embedded media perversely pinned these killings on Libyan leader Bashar al-Assad, following the script for another NATO invasion. Only Russia’s UN veto spared Syria. So the sheikhs kept financing the “rebels” – and the U.S. pretended to fight them – until they grew into the ISIS terror army. They and their backers have still not quit.
Even Fox News is saying the U.S. coalition against ISIS is a myth.

Please consider to read the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) Linda. Perhaps this will shed some light on what Jesus Christ has commanded His disciples to do. Luke 13:1-5 is crucial.
“If man had his way, the plan of redemption would be an endless and bloody conflict. In reality, salvation was bought not by Jesus’ fist, but by His nail-pierced hands; not by muscle but by love; not by vengeance but by forgiveness; not by force but by sacrifice. Jesus Christ our Lord surrendered in order that He might win; He destroyed His enemies by dying for them and conquered death by allowing death to conquer Him.”

I understood that Christianity is not a pacifist religion. Christians are allowed to defend themselves. What you have over and over again lately is Christians turning the other cheek at each and every Islamic atrocity. If Christians aren’t careful, they aren’t going to have any cheeks left to turn. They can be very exacting towards their own followers who step out of line a little, and yet they seem to overlook the Islamic barbarism. Somehow, I think Christians do not come off looking very good in all this. Muslim rape gangs, beheadings, ISIS barbarism, … it all just goes on and on, and Christians do nothing.

Linda, the United States–which has a population that is 83% Christian–did drive out the Islamic State. This is certainly a good thing.
Linda says
If it weren’t for the United States’ example of freedom in this world, I don’t know what all the rest of us would do. This idea that Christians are just supposed to take every affront and every attack and then turn the other cheek, while never defending their children, their women, or themselves, is the most unappealing thing associated with Christianity. It makes Christians look like a bunch of dhimmis who won’t be satisfied until they are murdered by their Muslim overlords.
Connie Walsh says
:”This idea that Christians are just supposed to take every affront and every attack and then turn the other cheek, while never defending their children, their women, or themselves, is the most unappealing thing associated with Christianity.”
But Jesus never said it would be easy. In fact, he said “In this world you will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world” Jn 16:33 It isn’t supposed to be easy. Almost every one of the apostles and many of their followers were put to death for their faith. But for all that, there is peace and joy in following Him.
Linda says
Whatever happened to Christians being allowed to defend themselves?

President Trump attitude to Islamic terror has been phenomenal.
Really the past presidents have been pathetic on the world platform.
The terror attacks on American soil and the response is indicative of bad policy.
The left in America and the majority of the MSM attack Trump and lable him an Islamicphobe.
These are powerful institutions of orginization .
Lets not forget that the perpertrators of 9/11 out of 17, 15 were Saudies, accomadadated by them, paid by then and their flying instructions in the USA,
The USA still arms them and there has been no justice for the victims or families who have suffered,
Certainly The USA has not done much however Trump has been great.
The border with Mexico should be of concern to all Americans, this is where the danger is, yet Americans some republicans and all Democrats oppose it and are unwilling to change things.

Up through the 19th century, England routinely hanged criminals of all stripes, including pickpockets and petty thieves. This tended to winnow out the worst parts of the population, and as a result, the British became exceptionally law-abiding and more intelligent than most.
https://vdare.com/articles/death-penalty
Certainly, the minimum protection for Britain is to have violent jihadis (and other criminals) executed, preventing them from not only reproducing but from committing other violent crimes.
Before we focus too much on Britain, though, recall that these people traveled to Iraq to kill…Iraqis. Iraq has every right in the world to execute them, and doesn’t need the excuse it is protecting Britain. It’s protecting Iraq.

Perhaps Britain should have “winnowed out” some of its aristocracy.
A_M_Swallow says
World War 1 winnowed out the aristocracy.
Michael T says
Not enough.
Richard says
Perhaps if Britain still had its monarchial and aristocratic form of government, it would not have Jihadis swarming in. That would not be racism. Centuries ago, King James was absolutely furious when John Rolf married Pocahontas – not because Rolf was white and Pocahontas was an Indian, but because Rolf was as a commoner and Pocahontas was a princess, and so, by marrying her, John Rolf had dared to marry above his station in life. It is interesting how class can form a sort of “race” of its own. The Crusading King, Richard the Lionhearted, tried to get his sister to marry Saladin’s brother, but she adamantly refused. On the other hand, almost all the 911 terrorists were upper-class Saudis. Aristocracy used to uphold social values and morals. That certainly no longer seems o be the case. The difference is they used to live for their people. As St. Teresa of Avila pointed out, the upper class were not free to associate with whomever they liked, eat the food they liked, go to places they enjoyed, etc.. They were in all ways slaves to their position in life. That has certainly changed. Now it is almost the fulfillment of Elijah Mohamed’s line: “The underclass is clean and pure. It is only a thin layer of scum that rises to the top.”
Ray Jarman says
Finally someone, RonaldB, has hit the nail on the head. These animals went to Iraq and dawned the mantle of evil and to fight against the people, especially Christians, so Iraq has the right if not obligation to extinguish these vile creatures.

Wakeup says
We need to bring the death penalty back, keeping dangerous people in jail is very expensive and bad for the other prisoners. In this instance the crime is treason and after the second world war there was no hesitation in executing traitors. Whatever happened to us to cause us to lost our instincts for self preservation, have we lost the will to live? Myself I would put the cause as being the decline in the Judao-Christian basis of our society, we are now supposed to promote British Values what the hell are they? Nobody will admit that they are simply Judeo-Christian values and the are universal across Christendom not eclusively British.
Somebody at this piont is going to say Thou shalt not kill. Well it doesn’t exactly say that, it says Thou shalt not commit murder, check out Ben Shapiro on this. The Jewish state quite happily hanged adolf eichmann with a clear concience, so go for it.
Richard says
You are absolutely right, of course, Wakeup. From a Christian point of view, the death penalty is actually a blessing. You know the exact time you will die, so you can make your peace with God and be in a state of grace and even go straight to heaven – Not to mention the lives and misery the death penalty saves. Whole families used to go to hangings as social events, complete with picnic baskets. It was a fantastic lesson for little children. “If you are naughty, this is what is going to happen to you.” The last public hanging in West Virginia’s Moundsville Prison, something went wrong and the criminal’s head flew off when he dropped through the trap. When you go into a prison in China today, you are immediately checked for blood type, DNA, etc. If someone corresponding to you needs, say, a kidney, eye or heart transplant, they rip the organ out of you while you are still alive and without anesthetic. That is a major reason to obey the law.
Anne Smith says
You ask whatever happened to our instinct for self preservation.

The jihadists are the most respected, aspired to and revered group in Islam. Mothers want at least one son to be a suicide bomber/killer ( martyr) because it guarantees the son the highest level in heaven right next to Muhammed and Allah and, more importantly, it guarantees his parents and immediate familly the second highest level in heaven ( out of about 7 levels) So the entire family is in a state of euphoria and relief that their son has become a martyr. There is no remorse here. They believe they are instruments of Allah and doing his will…which is ridding the earth of all filthy non-muslims….kufrs.

Gjallarhornet says
Personally; I don’t mind, I even think it is wise. I’m still against the death penalty, at least in times of peace, but this is still ok with me. First, because it is hardly ‘peaceful’ conditions in Iraq and Syria. ISIS declared war on the West. Then abide with the laws of war. The second reason is more important for me though – these people got to go. For three reasons: 1) It is suicide letting them back into Europe 2) A deterrent to like mind people and last and most important 3) Cut of the snakes head. We have to take out the leaders. To make the whole islamist movement crumble – removing the brains is the way to go. Just make them disappear. Fpr that, prison won’t do.
For all this,I dont think it is wrong that these people are killed. By law or not, that does not matter. What matters is their removal: They must go. My only qualms is the method – in the field you shoot people, you don’t hang them, but yeah – that’s a detail. Bottom line: it is naive beyond belief not to take these people out.
elee says
Well written and thoughtful. Thank you for posting.
It occurs to me that this highlights a difference between our civilization and their culture. If we fear them, even if we hate them, we acknowledge that they are human beings. Their cult and culture follows a scripture that says Jews and kafirs are less than human. This gives them the tactical advantage of striking without conscience.
I share your reservations about the death penalty but agree with you: these evil bastards need to be neutralized.
Incidentally, huge praise for the courage of the judge who, probably in room filled with their informants, ordered the sentence. I can’t think of a more dramatic illustration of courage.

Most people here think this is good news but it’s not. It’s bad news because the judge felt pressure from western coalition governing bodies in Iraq. Justifying death sentences for the benefit of those parties seems like a desperate act.

Well of course the judge felt pressure. Our globalist masters want to save their jihad and their mujahidin. Back in the Uk, these perps’ families are wringing their hands, “He is a good boy! He was always good to his Momma! He was just turning his life around! He went to Iraq to do charity work!”

So wrong to hang these men. Do you realise that a team of highly paid British lawyers and their numerous staff could fight these individual cases in a British court for several years and then take the results to Human rights and higher courts, for many more years . Eventually after release there could be more legal work involved trying to get compensation for..’this and that’……….Each re-used rope costing a dollar will cost a British legal firm…MILLIONS…of pounds…
Paul says
I wouldn’t worry overly much about those prisoners actually ever being executed. As much as I would like to think the judges words were heartfelt, true and accurate, I just know too many Arabs, Afghanis, and Iraqis to simply take them at face value. Notice:
“Mr Beraqdar said fighters with UK passports had already been sentenced and it was “possible” they would face the death penalty….”
“…possible” they would face the death penalty….”
Get it?
Stop looking at muslim countries as simply extensions of the west, with the same values. They are most definitely NOT. Corruption, payoffs, bribery, baksheesh are part of the very air they breath every day. There is a long history of prisoners being ransomed from the prisons, going all the way back past the crusades continuing unto this day. The head of the Afghan NDS just recently released a large number of Taliban in return for bribes. These are people who say they have sworn to kill him. And he still let them go for money.
The families of prisoners with British passports are more likely to have the means of paying a higher ransom. Those prisoners are collateral. A piggy bank. Bargaining chips.
Mr Beraqdar is simply establishing a strong bargaining position. Expect negotiations with their families to take months, and will not end until Mr Beraqdar is quite certain that he has extracted every last euro, pound, shekel, drachma and dollar from those families before he releases any of them. The only ones that might have a worry are the ones who are genuinely poor, because they run the risk of being killed simply to make an example and ratchet up the pressure on the families that have money to cough up more lire faster in the hope of bringing the negotiations to a quicker close.
They can also be used by the Iraqis to extract useful trade deals from the Brits. It’s all about the drachma folks. It’s always about the drachma.
A_M_Swallow says
If this was a business decision paying an Iraqi judge an alleged bribe is probably banned by Section 6 of Britain’s “Bribery Act 2010”. However is organised terrorism a business?

It certainly explains much of what has occurred in the west with respect to manipulation of our politics and governments by the Muslim Brotherhood.
The mindset that your comment highlites is obviously engrained as part of the Muslim character, which is completely opposite to our western Judeo Christian cultural values, and goes unrecognized by our so called “leaders” to the detriment of the average westerner.
Islam is the problem and Muslims with such an ingrained cultural mindset are the weapon. Which fully explains the following, at leadt for me,
“Assimilation is a crime against humanity. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam, Islam is Islam. The mosques are our barracks, The minorets are our bayonets, The cupolas our helmets, and the faithful our soldiers.” Tyyip Erdogan, President of Turkey 2008.
