“S will not have to return to jail, because she has spent some eight months in custody prior to the trial.”
Good, so she will be out on the streets, able to acquaint Dutch non-Muslims with Islam’s peace and tolerance.
“S has also been told not to leave the Netherlands during her three years’ probation period…”
The Dutch would apparently prefer that she wages her jihad right there at home rather in some far-off place where it would be harder to keep track of her and issue the pro-forma “We stand resolute and this will not divide us, we must reject all Islamophobia” statements after her jihad massacre.
“…and that she must cooperate in meetings with Islam experts.”
The assumption here on the part of Dutch authorities is that Islam is a religion of peace that this poor dear has misunderstood, and that the “Islam experts” will clear up her misunderstandings and make her into a loyal, peaceful member of Dutch society. This has about as much chance of succeeding as I have of becoming the Democrats’ nominee for President in 2020, since the core Islamic texts do actually teach warfare against unbelievers.
“Dutch woman who converted to Islam found guilty of planning to join IS,” Dutch News, July 19, 2018 (thanks to Lookmann):
A young Dutch woman who converted to Islam and went to Syria has been jailed for 413 days, 180 days suspended by judges in Den Bosch.
The court said that there was enough evidence Lieke S was planning to join terrorist organisation IS, despite her claims she had wanted to help refugees.
S will not have to return to jail, because she has spent some eight months in custody prior to the trial….
S has also been told not to leave the Netherlands during her three years’ probation period and that she must cooperate in meetings with Islam experts.
