The Brookings Institution is a respected and venerable organization, widely reputed in the West to be the repository of the nation’s finest thinkers on foreign policy issues. In reality, it is massively funded by the government of Qatar, and has worked assiduously to legitimize Muslim Brotherhood figures in the West — see here for a detailed exposé of this.
So it comes as no surprise that “Your summer reading list from the Brookings Institution Press” contains this note about a book that Brookings published in February:
Journey into Europe, Akbar Ahmed
In his latest book, Akbar Ahmed, a renowned scholar of Islam, reviews what he learned on a four-year tour across Europe interviewing Muslims and non-Muslims from all walks of life about how their communities are engaging each other. Journey into Europe details how tensions over Islam have increased since 9/11 and why the rise of right-wing, nationalist political parties across the continent is shaking the foundation of the European Union to its core. It also explores several opportunities for Europe and its Muslim communities to promote integration and pluralism in the 21st century.
Notice that it is “the rise of right-wing, nationalist political parties across the continent,” not jihad terror, mass Muslim migration, or Muslim migrant crime, that “is shaking the foundation of the European Union to its core.” The reaction to mass Muslim migration and jihad terror is the problem, not the mass Muslim migration and jihad terror itself.
“Islamophobia” propagandist Todd Green, an open foe of the freedom of speech, in a review of the book that Ahmed praised as “brilliantly insightful,” says that in the book, Ahmed calls for a “pluralist identity” in Europe and “uses the Spanish term la convivencia to capture this strand of European identity and lifts up Jewish, Muslim, and Christian co-existence and cooperation in historic Andalusia as an example of this pluralist model.”
A New Andalusia. In the old Andalusia, as I show in my forthcoming book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, the Muslims ruled, and the place was hardly a paradise for non-Muslims. Historian Kenneth Baxter Wolf notes that many laws were “aimed at limiting those aspects of the Christian cult which seemed to compromise the dominant position of Islam….Aside from such cultic restrictions most of the laws were simply designed to underscore the position of the dhimmis as second-class citizens.”
This is, apparently, the Europe that the Brookings Institution wants.

Here is another story of creeping Islamization
Inci Özel, a prospective teacher of German language and History, has been visiting German schools for more than a year, telling lies about Islam to schoolchildren, such as that killing is forbidden in Islam and that ISIS has nothing to do with Islam. But now, mandated by the Bavariian State Ministry for Education and Religion to organize training courses for teachers,, she can indoctrinate even teachers. That’s outrageous. Not only that more than 27 verses of the Qur’an ( Sura 2,191; Sura 4,89; Sura 9,111; Sura 47,4; Sura 8,12; Sura 33,61..to Name but a few) expose her as a liar, but she receives also aid from the Bavarian State to spread her mendacious stories about Islam. I don’t know who is more despicable: taqqiya artists like this woman or all these ass-kissers and sycophants from academia who try to brainwash us, so that we won’t be able any longer to recognize Islam for what it is: a murderous and inhuman doctrine.
And I am always amazed to see that women of all people stand up for this sick religion and defend it, despite their being socially and legally almost as inferior as dhimmis in Muslim societies. What is this? Brainwash? Subservience which has been practised by women for centuries?

@The European,
Merci pour votre commentaire pertinent sur RR. Je n’ai rien eu à rajouter.
It’s the same thing in France. The authorities are lying to us, when it’s just sufficient to read the Koran to give a clearer picture of the situation. So I do not understand our resignation and fatalism.
I read German comments on Robert Spencer’s website, and it seems that Angela Merkel could be removed from office before her term has ended.

Qatar-funded Brookings Institution recommends for “summer reading” a book calling for Islamization of Europe
………………….
I thought “summer reading” typically involved such light reading as detective stories, spy thrillers, adventure yarns, romances, and “chick lit”–not horror shows about Islamizing the West. (not that one cannot read more serious or grimmer work during the summer months–but this is rarely characterized as “summer reading”).
Disturbingly, Brookings Institute appears to approve…

“interviewing Muslims and non-Muslims from all walks of life about how their communities are engaging each other.” In plain English, the muslims are terrorizing the non muslims. Some non muslims are acting as very good ‘dhimmis’ as well.
“and why the rise of right-wing, nationalist political parties across the continent is shaking the foundation of the European Union to its core.” Oh, yes! It’s not the terrorists! It’s those ‘right wing radicals’ who dare to expose them! Yes, I caught that one right away too.
“It also explores several opportunities for Europe and its Muslim communities to promote integration and pluralism in the 21st century.” Cycle: terrorism. intimidation. dhimminitude. conquest. Repeat.
As they say in the valley behind LA (not that I’m from there): “Like… like… gag me with a spoon!”
But that was from back in the 80’s…

They always call for al-Andalusia. I hate that! Muslims see that as a paradise but it was more likely a hell on earth. My people fought to be free from them and I won’t back down.
