A global war with many, many fronts.
“Syrian man arrested for promoting IS terrorism,” by Jung Min-ho, Korea Times, July 6, 2018:
A Syrian man has been arrested after allegedly promoting the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group and encouraging other foreign workers to be part of it, police said Friday.
According to the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency, the man, 33, whose identity is being withheld, was arrested for allegedly violating the anti-terrorism law, which bans activities that can endanger national security and citizens’ safety.
After receiving reports, investigators apprehended him at his residence in Pyeongtaek on June 18. Police said they found explosive material in his car and IS promotion video clips on his computer.
It unclear whether he is a member of the IS or just a follower.
After entering Korea in 2007, he applied for legal refugee status, which was later rejected. Instead, he received a residency permit for humanitarian reasons, which has to be renewed every year….

“a residency permit …… which has to be renewed every year….”
a model that Europe could use.

Ah … a ‘refugee’ status. Muslim refugees are supposedly fleeing from terror, but this man was BUILDING TERROR.
About one Muslim in SIX is a terror supporter and about one in several thousand Muslims is an actual terrorist.
To receive Muslims as migrants is to practice MUSLIM ROULETTE.
Can we afford to take the chance?
Rob Crawford says
They should send him across the DMZ as a gesture of peace.

Enough is Enough until the liberal media decides to report the news instead of giving opinions then the world will continue to look at Islam as the religion of peace. Even though we with eyes wide open know the truth

Residency permit for humanitarian reasons…can get many killed.
SK needs to learn a lesson from this incident…but like so many nations in the west their “Learning Ability” has vanished into thin air when it comes to Muslims.

Ok. Now they have a taste, I wonder how comfortable they are now with the 1,000 refugees they took in only a short while. I wonder if they now understand why so many of their citizens protested that when they did.
Annual renewable residency is very smart, as it gives protection to the good, and the bad and the ugly the boot. This is very similar to how Japan does it.

Won’t protect from jihad attacks..the only protection is NOT to take the serpent home.

There’s a zoo at Ueno park in Tokyo. We used to joke that Ueno park had the largest collection of Iranians outside of Tehran. That was definitely an exaggeration.as there are very, very few Muslims in the country. And almost no ethnic Japanese who are Muslims. They simply do not accept the idea that Islam has any place in Japan.
I believe there are three mosques in the entire country, and only one Imam in Tokyo which according to the most recent numbers I can find has a population of 13.78 million.. They try to be low key about it but Islam is officially and unofficially discouraged. By that I mean there are government policies that are in opposition to Islam and consequently anti Muslim. Japan has a general visa exemption program with fifty countries. None are Muslim. All other foreigners entering the country except as tourists for a maximum of ninety days are photographed and fingerprinted. Muslims are allowed in on a temporary basis but they are not eligible to become citizens or even become permanent residents. Japan has a number of different residency statuses and Muslims can qualify for some of the temporary ones. As long as they demonstrate (like all other foreigners allowed to live and possibly work in Japan) “good conduct” they will be tolerated. But good conduct means maintaining a low profile, It’s even difficult to import Qurans. Muslims are expected to pray at home which explains why there are so few mosques. They sure as hell would never put up with them praying in the streets like the French do. They don’t allow any Muslim proselytizing. .You simply don’t see Japanese women marrying or hooking up with Muslim men. Not in Japan, anyway. They will abroad. The Turks have a nickname for Japanese women; armored cars, because they’re loaded with cash.
Like a lot of people they’ll do things outside of their country that they would never dare do in their own. A Japanese woman who marries a Muslim man becomes a social pariah in Japan. Note I am not talking about Muslim women. I don’t think they let them in because they worry that then the few men they let in won’t leave and go home. I know I’ve never seen a burqa or even a hijab in Japan. Again, I don’t think the would tolerate it.
My crack about the collection of Iranians at Ueno park is in reference to one of the realities the Japanese are forced to recognize. They need foreign oil. So they let some in to work, but with the understanding they can’t stay long and then have to leave. Which suits the Iranians as they can make what amounts to a fortune in Iran in not much time. This could be an issue if Trump is really serious about sanctioning Iran and preventing it from exporting oil. But honestly if we are able to supply Japan’s oil most Japanese will only be too happy to see the Muslims leave.

I think he picked the wrong country to do this in. I doubt that he’ll get day parole and a cushy de-radicalization program.

Not to worry. Pretty soon there will be a whole new class of migrant workers — native Swedes, native Germans, native Frenchmen, etc.

South Korea: Muslim had explosive materials, encouraged other foreign workers to join the Islamic State

More proof that the South Koreans are right to be leery of Muslims flooding into their civilized nation:
