Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

South Koreans protest arrival of Muslim migrants: “We’ve read about problems that immigrants have caused in Europe”

Jul 3, 2018 11:54 am By Robert Spencer

They have every reason to be worried. Everywhere Muslims and non-Muslims have come into contact, Muslims have initiated conflict, as I show in my new book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS. Why should South Korea be different?

“We have had no contact with Muslim people before, but we know that they all have big families and they bring their own culture instead of trying to adapt to the place where they live, so people here think that they should have gone as refugees to other Muslim countries.”

This is an accurate observation followed by a sensible recommendation, but in the West it would get this man charges of “racism” and “Islamophobia.”

“South Koreans resist arrival of Yemeni asylum seekers,” by Julian Ryall, DW, June 26, 2018:

There has been a backlash after a thousand Yemenis exploited a visa loophole to apply for refugee status. Many South Koreans are concerned that Muslims will fail to integrate into their society.

An influx of nearly 1,000 Yemeni asylum seekers into the South Korean resort island of Jeju has triggered a fierce backlash against immigration rules that many South Koreans perceive to be lax and dangerous to the well-being of their society.

The concern has grown suddenly with 950 foreign nationals — the majority fleeing conflict-wracked Yemen — applying at the Jeju Immigration Office for legal refugee status after arriving as tourists.

In the whole of last year, only 312 people applied for refugee status on Jeju and local people fear their island is being targeted as an easy way into the East Asian nation.

“It has become really bad in recent weeks and it is all because Jeju introduced a program that enabled people from 186 countries to come here without a tourist visa,” said Hank Kim, owner of the Core Travel Agency. “It is meant to promote tourism but these people have realized that it gives them an easy way into the country,” he told DW.

‘People are worried’

“And local people here are worried,” Kim added. “We have all read about the problems that immigrants have caused in Europe — in Germany and France in particular — and we do not want that to happen here.

“And we are also worried because of their religion,” he admitted. “We have had no contact with Muslim people before, but we know that they all have big families and they bring their own culture instead of trying to adapt to the place where they live, so people here think that they should have gone as refugees to other Muslim countries.”

Feelings are running so high across the nation over the Jeju provincial government’s refugee-friendly policy that more than 380,000 people have signed a petition on the South Korean presidential Blue House’s official website against the visa-waiver program, while a demonstration is scheduled to take place in central Seoul protesting against the influx of foreign refugees.

A post on a blog announcing the demonstration said, “Politicians are reluctant to respond to the clear voices of the majority of people and the media also supports refugees. It is time to go out onto the streets and make our voices heard.”…

They need to be sent home. i knew when they broadcasted the olymoics and people were getting along without being blown up someone somewhere was calxulating p to ruin their country.

Why would they change theit immigration laws with all the strife in the world…the Yemen inis havent been a part of the asian society at all for a housands of years. They have not built S.Korea or fought or

A BETTER PLACE TO SEND THEM WOULD Be North Korea.

Moslem countries would be the logical financial choice. They are closer and have the same culture . But the oslem cluntries reconize this Molaem Migration for what it is, a Hijra…it’s a vast migration that is real,y an invasion force. There are many ways of waging jihad againt kuffar and this mass migration is one of them….. It overloads the hose country’s social service progress. In reality very few of these Moslem invaders are employable . German has recorded that of the thousands entering that country only 100 have been employed. This overloading of the social services of a western country is hoped to contribute to that country try’s economic distress, weaknig it to kae it easier for Islam take over .
The mass migration is like a few cancer cells entering a body, These moslems will bring in other moslems, their kin and as spouses and they will out breed the native population with the typical Moslem high birth rate. So the cancer grows. And while that population is growing the resident oslems will constantly keep,up,pressure and push for changes in the Host country’s laws, culture and way of life, asking the country more Islamic, more sharia compliant….,then when the population is large enough ( not the majority but large and powerful enough) it will, take over and make that country Islamic . And that Islamic cancer will have killed the western country and all of its freedoms and democracy .
The Moslem countries don’t want these Moslem I’m igrants coming to their countries, they aren’t regally persecuted , the oslem countries know this…and it is in the interest of the ummal ( world wide Islamic community) to obey the commands in the Koran that Islam should be spread to every cloth teybi th world andthe entire world be made Islamic .

From the sins I see in America I think God has turned his back on us, not forgetting us but doing his best to get our attention..I’m sure you have read in the scriptures what would happen if a nation humbled itself..you know what could happen…..but our leaders have tried to erase God from every facet of American life…I’ve been around a long time and can remember how close America was to God during and after WWII but sometimes between the end of WWII and the Korean War America began to loose God’s respect..we have not won a war since WWII (came close in the Gulf war) and America’s love of God has deteriorated to the point of the time He swept the nation of Israel into Captivity in Babylon. Well Babylon awaits today in the form of Islam…AND THE WORLD STANDS STILL!

Trump won against unbelievable odds, the very corrupt MSM, voter fraud, CIA and FBI trying to take him down, illegals allowed to vote??? He won despite the billions thrown at Hillary by the globalist, islamic oil money. He won by divine intervention. Trump is the one that has stopped the globalist and islam in their tracks. He really is draining the swamp of the deep state operatives that almost took America down.

Perhaps you could spend some of the meantime seeking truth (Psalm 145:18, Jeremiah 29:13, James 4:6, 1 Corinthians 2:13-14). You will enlightened to discover the philosophical delusion Darwinism has led the world to its current mess. Even better is the overwhelming historical, prophetic, scientific and archaeological evidence that attests to the reliability of the Holy Bible as God’s word. Be warned, however, that such life changing revelation requires the courage to seek it out and the faith see it through.

It certainly looks like “it’s time.”

There is an article in FrontPage today about what Assad and the iranian militia, hezbollah, and the Syrian army are doing near the Golan. 60,000 soldiers going up against 30,000 “rebels”….all moslims…right on Israel’s border. This brings to mid three different Scriptures…Matthew 24 where Jesus speaks of the “disgusting thing causing desolation,’ Daniel, who wrote of the same “disgusting thing,’ and Ezekiel 38;39 where we are told that Persia (Iran) and other military “hordes” will gather against Israel.

Jesus commanded that we “pray” for God to bring His Kingdom. It’s certainly the time for that.

The doubts and mocking of those who do not believe in God nor have faith in Him, are worthless. They have less than zero sum total.

No matter how many naysayers come forth, the Truth of God’s promises will come to pass in God’s time. And no amount of contrary talk can change that. He is not challenged by them nor provoked to act before the Day He has designated.

          To Ashley,

I did not say that that *anyone* is “worthless.” What I said is that the “doubts and mocking” when someone expresses faith in God is “worthless.”

It serves no useful purpose to mock someone because they believe in Divine Power and a Divine Person, or Being. It doesn’t help the one who is atheist and it is not meant to help the believer in God.

It is meant to hurt. If someone expresses faith in God and says we are “waiting” on help from Him, in response to His promises to help, how does that “hurt” the atheist?
We aren’t writing those things to force you to believe. We write them to “encourage” others who have faith. This is something we are commanded to do.

And, I have been reading and commenting here for enough years to know, not all here are believers….Your term is an insult and I refuse to use it. Why did you, if we are “all on the same team”?

And vulgar speech or print is unnecessary. The next time you or laura write something I think is stupid or totally ignorant Suppose i write something that is an insult to you? Will you think I’m on your “team”?

I may sometimes disagree….most of the time, I just let it pass….but I will never use vulgar or foul words. And,…. I’m not the originator of the idea that those who use such language as laura used are lacking in the thought department. But, it seems to fit.

Whether or not God helped Trump win, there are Scriptures that say that He does “install kings and brings them down.”:

        • somehistory says

          Jul 4, 2018 at 9:14 pm

          g,

I have explained this before. We can “resist” evil and we can spread the word about evil and we can hope and pray for Goodness to win out. And we can be glad when someone in power stands up to the evil and does the right thing.

However, humans are really limited. We have been discussing this moslim, islam, jihad problem for many years. We have been telling others and some have even tried to influence those in political power. Some on here have expressed the thought of taking up arms and fighting it out in the streets. (It will likely come to that.)

And yet, islam is spreading faster than bunnies can reproduce and the attacks and rapes are getting to be more often in more and more places. And the culprits are allowed to go free in many cases, or serve way less time than expected or even sentenced.

If we have to rely on people, we are doomed. Most of the governments are allowing islam to dominate the rest of us.
On the other hand, our Creator has the Power and the Will and the Time for ridding the earth of this scourge. And He has stated that He will do that.

Every time that someone says he/she is waiting on God, depending on God, praying to God, that person is mocked.

I don’t jump in with mocking every time someone says something I think is stupid, although there would be plenty of opportunities to do so.
If a person wants to disbelieve, that is his/her right. But it is also the right of one to have faith and to express it.

For an atheist to try to put their time frame on God and say He will not act, when he/she does not even believe in a God, is a mocking that is unnecessary.
There are many more who do believe than those who don’t. But for those who don’t to constantly attack those who do, is also evil. If the atheists want to “go it alone” and act on their own, I say they should get to it already and stop trying to put the onus on Christians. We know we can’t defeat evil without God.

        • gravenimage says

          Jul 5, 2018 at 10:58 pm

Dear Somehistory, we *are* limited. But I don’t believe we are more limited than Islam.

We have stood up against Fascism and Communism–and against Islam in the past.

The first thing is simply to educate people about the threat of Islam. The same had to be done re Fascism and Communism. That is what Robert Spencer is trying to do with Jihad Watch.

          Hope you are well.

        • somehistory says

          Jul 6, 2018 at 7:59 pm

          g,

In my comment, I made ti clear that knowledge is important. Knowledge comes before action and getting the word out, from as many as can be assembled for the task, is necessary. Jesus commanded His followers to “preach the Word.” and this includes where the evil is and identifying the source of it.

But humans are not going to be able to defeat the evil without help from our Creator. If the people who pushed back against islam in previous centuries had not believed in Him, would they have had the courage to try? There are times in the Bible where God said for His children to “stand still” and see the “salvation” by Him.
The Bible says that “every good gift and perfect present” comes from God. All kinds of gifts and presents. I give Him credit for everything good that comes my way. And He “fights for ” His children.

The Psalms and Daniel make clear that God “sets up kings and bring them down.”

And Jesus warned us that these days would come, that there would be people believing that to kill a Christian would be doing God’s Will. This has to be before Christ returns to destroy the evil.

Whatever the case, Susan wrote that it was “time” for God to do this. I simply wrote that it certainly seems like it and gave some Scripture citations.
laura decided that was a ‘nasty’ thing to say and i responded and ashley didn’t like what I said, twisted what I wrote and hurled a few insults of her own.

Those “without faith” wish to take it away from those who have it. They are “without hope and God.” (A Bible phrase.) if they wish to fight evil without calling on Him for help, I don’t care. It is their choice and their right to make it.
But, I have the same freedom. And I don’t wish to try to defeat islam without calling on God to do what I cannot. I know I cannot and I know He can and will. I’m not ashamed to say I can’t defeat evil and so need His help.

If these two commenters don’t like what i write, they aren’t being forced to read it and can stop anytime. I skip over many of the comments from people who say things that annoy me, anger me, disgust me. For some, the “name” of the one commenting is enough to make me skip it.
I don’t usually reply to those who I find offensive or stupid. They have a right to say stuff without trying to please me. But if they reply directly to me, or attack someone who has only expressed faith, then I may reply to them. It’s that simple.

I know you try hard to be a moderating voice and I appreciate that. I always read what you write..almost…sometimes i miss comments because i run out of time and your comments are every where, encouraging and informing.

And Japan, though I know they do not like to emulate that nation. The nations that shut their borders to the new Islamic invasion may one day be the saviors of what is left of civilization in this world.

Please buy Spencer’s “The History of Jihad”. Everyone in the West needs to be educated in the disaster that befell Western civilization at the hands of the Islamic invasion and conquest of the Classical world.

You’re absolutely right, Marty. South Korea shouldn’t let Muslims in. I thought that South Korea and Japan were countries which did not let any Muslims into their countries (well, I had heard that Japan had a tiny number of Muslims). I thought that these countries were definitely on the right track and were sensible enough to avoid the problems so many other countries are experiencing. Shut the door on letting any more Muslims in or you’ll regret it. Korea is making a mistake if they let these MUslims stay. revereridesagain, you’re right. The Muslim free nations may well save civilisation. Kim is quoted in the article, “We have had no contact with Muslim people before”. I thought, how fortunate they are. Most people in other countries, which have inevitable problems with Muslims, would love be able to have no contact with Muslims as well.

        Jul 4, 2018 at 5:47 am

South Korea is about a quarter Christian, a quarter Buddhist, and half non-religious (atheist or agnostic), and an overarching Confucian philisophy is important there. They also have small minorities of Muslims, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons and other groups, numbering in the tens of thousands.

However, they are aware of how, in Muslim-majority countries, Christians, Buddhists and openly non-religious people are often viciously persecuted. They also note the sexual assaults against non-Muslim women and girls in Germany, Sweden, Holland and other nations.

Moreover, those Muslims who are coming there in the hope of sponging off social assistance should be aware that South Korea doesn’t have as strong a social safety net as most Western countries (Japan doesn’t either, for that matter), and Koreans are less tolerant towards welfare fraud, crime and terrorism in general, than most western nations.

        • tim gallagher says

          Jul 5, 2018 at 12:35 am

Thanks for that information about South Korea, Alex. I think the South Korean people are going to be sensible enough and tough enough to avoid the problems Islam inevitably brings. I guess it helps that they’ve seen what has happened to some countries in western Europe who have looked at Islam with a Pollyanna-ish attitude and let so many Muslims in. It looks like they may have learnt from those mistakes. As you say, I believe most western nations have been too tolerant and are paying for that excessive tolerance towards Muslims and their crime, welfare fraud, etc. We in the west have been such soft touches..

        Tim
After having just spent the last two years in Pakistan with the U.S. State Department I could not agree with you more. It is not the issue of the individual people but the fundamental structure of Islam. I do not speak for the government for only for myself when I say the conflict is eventually unavoidable there is no separation of church in state. Islam is the state and they do believe they will eventually convert the whole world and as I was told the Whole Universe in time.

          Jul 5, 2018 at 7:45 pm

Stuart, I’m sure that having spent time in Pakistan would give you a very clear picture of how things are with Islam and the Muslim aim of world domination. I can’t say I’d want to spend time in a country like Pakistan ( so many other countries I’d rather go to) even though it might be educational. I think most people here who comment on Jihad Watch (I think of them as the awake and aware people, as opposed to the people who still can’t seem to see the danger Islam presents) know that, when it comes to Islam, it is definitely them or us, Islam is 100% incompatible with our values, and we need to win this war with Islam or we’re in for a hellish life, lived under the barbarous rules of Islam. As you say, the conflict is unavoidable. Hell, in reality, it’s been going for 1400 years.

The world has been waiting for this intervention for 1400 years..in the meantime areas that were populated by Christians , Jews and other religions were brutally attacked and have become Islamic nations instead with the Christian and Jewish population greatly reduced..eg. N Africa and ME..Then oil was discovered in Islamic lands when muslims were weak and that gave them money and power and the ability to corrupt Christian leaders who became their allies and defenders and aided their invasion into Christian lands with the results we see today. I try to make sense of this whole situation…it’s difficult…somebody must be very busy or asleep…

    In the words of Muhammad:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but YOU WILL BE SCUM AND RUBBISH like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.

Stop it NOW, while you still can. Once they are enfranchised as citizens in significant numbers, you cannot easily get them out. Bottom line: Islam is a disaster for democracy, because their leadership takes advantage of our freedoms in order to destroy our freedoms.

  18. eduardo odraude says

Exclusion does not have to be absolute or eternal. A reasonable rule is to have a moratorium on Islamic immigration until a majority of Muslim-majority nations protect freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Such a rule would be good not only for non-Muslim nations but also for Muslim nations. The current popular policy of whitewashing Islam and pretending their is no problem while swamping free nations with this totalitarian bacillus — that policy helps no one and endangers everyone.

Another example, the British in Afghanistan. Who initiated conflict?

So two counter examples of non-Muslims initiating conflict against Muslims.

First lesson: Saying things like “Group of people I hate ALWAYS do this” is easily refutable for anyone who cares to take a few minutes to do the research.

Second lesson: Looking at history it becomes clear that Empires rise and fall and countries attack(ed) one another over a host of reasons (mostly territory and resources) in the name of various ideologies (from nationalism to religion).

You have used this example here before—you make no point—but you think
you do—what this Korean has said here is the truth—you know this—still
you hope for what—that Muslims can migrate in mass and be welcomed,
after leaving a trail of Islam infected menace every where they have been.

It is just a matter of time or events that will see the reigning in of this Muslim
pushiness—the privileged persona of Muslims as special people, who must be
treated with undeserved extra care, is fading, with every encounter others
      have with them.

Do you think this arrogant approach to others should have better results?

Of course there is always the old stand-by—The Muslim Fit.
