Beginning at about 18:15, Darth Vader-like breathing sounds are heard in the background. What’s that all about? Is a scholarly jinn trying to contribute to the conversation?

THIS IS A WONDERFUL INTRODUCTION TO THE SCHOLARLY PROBLEMS WITHIN ISLAM for the totally uninformed person. Robert Spencer’s precision of mind and perfect English shine through in this interview. He covers many of the main concerns of scholarship which weaken and even destroy the ideas of the Islamic false prophecy.

The interviewer, while well meaning, is not good at producing her videos. She has much to learn on the technical side. However, the main message got through.

The best COMPARISON and EXPLANATION of the MIS-quoted Bible stories is at the end of this interview. Mohammed’s distorted Bible stories are like the film ‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers’ in which people’s friends are possessed by aliens. They still look like their friends, but their souls were removed from their bodies. Those are the biblical personalities in the Koran.

Love that movie; a good analogy mortimer.

l think she said lmam tawhidi in melbourne claims aisha was 21. Here he is saying this to tommy robinson. Apparently, it was because virginity is so important – no matter what the age ?
On the topic of a reformation within Islam, a very different yet possible valid and true view on this had been explain by the Christian, Nabeel Qureshi ,who was in the past was a Muslim .He wrote in his book which is entitled ANSWERING JIHAD wrote about the suggestion “that Islam needs a reformation .What they may not realize is that radical Islam is the Islamic reformation. This might sound shocking, but consider: Just as the Protestant Reformation was an attempt to raze centuries of Catholic tradition and return to the canonical text, so radical Islam is an attempt to raze centuries of traditions of various schools of Islamic thought and return to the canonical text of the Quran and Muhammad’s life. This desire to return to the original form of Islam can be seen not only in the words of Sayyid Qutb, but also in his method. He focused almost entirely on references to the Quran. it is true also of the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS today, whose publications and proclamations are punctuated by references to the Quran and Hadith literature. Radical Muslim organizations are explicit in their aim to reform Islam.” page 75. Further on pages 79,80 the author makes his case clear by writing that “Radical Islam is the Islamic reformation . The endeavor to modernize Islam and make it relevant to the twenty -first century is called progressive Islam. Progressive Muslim thought leaders, though few in number and limited in influence are present and are working to recreate Islam’s religious framework from within. Indeed, that is what it would take for Islam to become devoted to peace – not reformation but reimagination. “

This interview with Robert Spencer which involves the discussion of the difference between non-violent ,peaceful Muslims[the “moderates”] and violent dangerous jihad minded Muslims[ the “radicals”].. Furthermore, the terms “Radical Muslim” and “Islamic extremist” in contrast to the term “Moderate Muslim” are actually Western terms and not that well known in the Islamic Middle East. This is because what In the Islamic mindset in the Muslim Middle East as well as in Indonesia and other Muslim controlled country what the non-Muslims of the Western nations view as “radical and “extremist” the Muslims of those places in the world see as “Normal” and even Devout and committed to the Cause of Islam”. Likewise they view those who Westerns see as “Moderate Muslims” those of the Islamic worldview and non-devout and non –committed Muslims. The violent jihadists even see them as “hypocrites.” Therefore, this explains the jihadist chant of those jihad-minded Muslims in different Islamic terror organizations. When they chant out loud “Death to infidels and hypocrites.” Meaning Death to people who and not Muslims and people who are non- jihadist Muslims.

“Progressivism” has surely never been observed in Islam. They tipped their hats to the West for about a century after Napoleon came along and wowed them with his big death guns but that fluke was about the closest they ever came to getting even remotely distracted from their violent comic book and its antics.
IMO Islam is only worthy of the trash heap. Lives are better spent elsewhere and the intelligent will exit in all due haste given the opportunity.

Although she seemed at first to know what Islam is and what it teaches, she described Robert Spencer as an expert on “radical Islam” [@0:28] and referred to the more “radical” (Muslim) adherents [@2:32}.
Why, oh why, do apparently knowledgeable people make that bogus distinction.
And, if the guest is a truly knowledgeable guest–like Robert Spencer–why not politely correct that thinking?
Carol the 1stsays
A more descriptive term to help the public appreciate the playing field might be “ACTING-OUT Islam” and “ACTING-OUT muslims”. They’re only following the “perfect” rule-book as dutiful submissives are obliged.
The “nice” girl was out of her depth and shouldn’t have imposed upon Mr. Spencer.
