Iranian Parliament Wants to Question Rouhani About Collapsing Economy….The announcement said the parliament summoned Rouhani to appear before a special session within a month, without setting an exact date.
Why might Iran’s economy be collapsing? For starters, the big-bucks Iran deal was scrapped — a deal that saw billions flow into Iran, a top state sponsor of jihad terrorism.
Trump, unlike Obama, finally stood up to the threatening, menacing, rogue state that promotes “death to America” and “death to Israel.” It oppresses its people under strict enforcement of Islamic law and has planted its proxies everywhere worldwide. Trump’s recognition of the fact that appeasing bullies only strengthens them led to his announcement of sanctions on May 8. Less than a month later, ten companies from Europe, China, India and Russia announced their exits from Iran. This was despite the shallow words of support for Iran from European and Asian leaders.
So the answer to the question of why Iran’s economy is spiraling downwards is obvious, but is embarrassing to the Iranian regime. It is characteristic of Islamic supremacists to deceive, lie and choose a fall guy when they are exposed. Usually the fall guy is a Western dullard, taken in by historic guilt and the clever victimology narrative wielded by Islamic supremacists. This time, the fall guy could be shaping up to be Rouhani, a man wrongly referred to as “ moderate” in the media (and by the Obama administration), but who is actually as guilty as his “brothers” who are now ready to throw him under the bus in a desperate attempt to save face.
“Iranian Parliament Wants to Question Rouhani About Collapsing Economy,” by John Hayward, Breitbart, August 1, 2018:
The Iranian parliament announced on Wednesday that it wants to question President Hassan Rouhani about the shaky economy and rapidly devaluing currency.
The announcement said the parliament summoned Rouhani to appear before a special session within a month, without setting an exact date.
The Associated Press notes Labor Minister Ali Rabiei managed to keep his job after facing tough questions from the Iranian parliament in March over the 12.5 percent national unemployment rate. It appears Rabiei will soon return to answer more questions as the rial plunges and the economy struggles.
The Jerusalem Post observed that Rouhani has never been summoned by the Iranian parliament before. The summons may have been prompted in part by Rouhani canceling interviews with the media as the economy worsened. A few previous attempts were made to summon him for questioning on various issues, but his administration was always able to persuade lawmakers to drop their demands.
In this case, at least 80 members of parliament submitted questions for him to answer. According to the Jerusalem Post, a few who buckled under pressure from Rouhani’s allies were persuaded to resubmit their questions.
The subtext here is that Iranian moderates are wondering how the economy should be in such horrible shape after all that money flowed in from U.S. President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal. The obvious answer is that much of the money was diverted to the Iranian military and its adventures in places like Syria and Yemen.
Hardliners, on the other hand, think the Iranian military and theocracy are not powerful enough and see an opportunity to weaken the secular government….

Of course mullah could care less about Iranian people, since they are likely living as kings!
Only way to stop this is revolt and overthrow the parasites!

The ultimate revolt against unjust rulers is to SUE THEM.
A successful lawsuit against the MISMANAGERS will put them in jail and clear the way for WISER GOVERNORS and more REASONABLE MANAGERS of the PUBLIC PURSE.
The Iranian representatives have the political clout to dismiss the evil mullahs if they are ready to do so.
They need to MASSIVELY declare the mullahs ILLEGITIMATE and FAILURES and that they DO NOT have the confidence of the people of Iran.

Sue them? Seriously? Are you suggesting that Iran has an independent judiciary or a doctine of law which would support such a lawsuit?

I gather that my comment was so good it was worth repeating. 🙂

sue them ? you are typical arm chair “expert” who has no clue how Iran works

I’m surprised more people didn’t jump all over Morimer’s crazy comment.

History tells us, that by dealing with the real fascists you have to be hard-boiled yourself. The false prophet, Hussein Obama, acted as a softball but was, in fact, an accomplice in the biggest political fraud of our times: the Iran Deal. – The real man behind the desk in the WH today knows intuitively how to maneuver in the sea of sharks. Mr. Trump is an expert. One of his earliest coaches was a tough man and lawyer (some would call him a badass) who taught young Donnie how to withstand mental attacks: No matter what they say you double up. – Not a bad advice dealing with the scum of the earth.

This fragile Islamic tyranny of Iran is of, course, having economic problems .Nevertheless economics isn’t the only reason that the people of Iran are in a type of revolt. For the Iranian people hate and resent that brutal and oppressive “mullah regime” which, in many ways denies the people basic human rights and freedoms that they should natural have.
Likewise, in the book entitled HOW ISLAM PLANS TO CHANGE THE WORLD, by William Wagner on page 208 the reader is informed that “The creation of the Islamic republic in Iran has had the effect that many from that country have become disillusioned with Islam and are looking to leave.” This is a point worth pondering.

Yeah …Mother of all wars RIGHT ??
They talk a good fight but fold like the blowhards they really are.
Not that anyone on this side of the issue wants a war, BUT if the Iranian Mullahs push the envelope with their typical rhetoric, they may just regret it.
It’s time for all western countries to back the Iranian peoples freedom movement so that democracy and freedom can be returned, along with sanity, to IRAN.

Could Trump or Nikki Haley etc follow up by holding press conferences in which they detail how much money Obama gifted the Iranians / how the Obama administration by-passed financial sanctions to get the money to Iran / and how much the Iranian regime has diverted to military adventures / financing terrorism / stolen for themselves ?
Nothing so undermines claims of religious piety as revelations of personal greed, excess, and corruption.

@ Ibe itace Mohamed ……… if he appears on this thread!
The Iranian Rial is now down to 112,000 to the mighty US Dollar – it was around 45,000 when Trump pulled out of Obama’s crazy nuclear deal.
The Iranian economy is tanking, falling apart, disintegrating, crumbling, atomizing! Why? Because the mad Mullahs are squandering billions on their pet psychosis – Jew hatred!
Karma doesn’t come any clearer; they wanted to destroy Israel but now they are simply destroying themselves!
My sympathy is for the Iranian people who have to suffer the stupidity of their swivel-eyed leaders, but hopefully they will depose them soon.

Christine Williams, what is happening is just part of routine check and balance principle that parliament has power to question the president when it feels that things are not going well, not a sign that the economy is collapsing due to withdrawal of evil United States from nuclear deal and sanctions by armed robber evil United States as you assume. Remember, under Obama it was only Iranian wealths kept in the evil United States that was returned , not a gift from American taxpayer’s monies. Even that one is a small fraction of incomes. Iran is still selling oil and manufacturing industries are generating huge incomes. The parliamentarians are going to question Rouhani why he is not performing well. Some hardliners among parliamentarians are saying Rouhani is making too much compromising to the detriment of Iranian interests. That was exactly the reason for protest participated by Ahmadi-Najad.

Poor old Ibby–this is knocking serious holes in his absurd claims that Iran has now surpassed the West and that Islam has destroyed the American economy. A few months ago he confidently said that the American dollar was worth $0 and that Americans would soon be starving.

It appears that the attempt by Huseein Obama to prop up the evil theocracy may not have worked.

Iran’s population has doubled and there is a very severe drought due to endemic mismanagement of water resources. The stress the increased population causes is leading to a collaps of water availability.
Decent management could have helped but the ruling clerics ,well are not scientists or have any notion of what science can do.
It’s all part of the end times drama but the expected one the Madhi will come with Jesus and they will destroy the Jews and end Christianity and all will be as right as rain.
