Watch this video. The treatment of Tommy Robinson in prison was unconscionable, and consistent with the British government’s determination to crush all resistance to its program of mass Muslim migration and capitulation to Sharia supremacists. The treatment of Tommy Robinson in prison was police state tactics. Meanwhile, the establishment media defames him as “far-right” and as a “white nationalist.” Will the free British people go quietly into the night?
“EXCLUSIVE: Tommy Robinson tells Ezra Levant about prison treatment, thanks supporters,” by Ezra Levant, Rebel Media, August 2, 2018:
After Tommy Robinson’s release from prison yesterday, I travelled from London to Luton to congratulate Tommy in person.
It was glorious to see him reunited with his beautiful wife and three lovely children. Those kids — who missed their dad so painfully — had smiles on their faces that I will never forget.
Tommy invited me to join the family for dinner, but I didn’t want to intrude in their private time. But I did ask him to sit down with me for ten minutes, to tell the world how he was doing.
And as I listened, my joy turned to sorrow, and then to rage.
Because Tommy was physically and psychologically abused in prison.
You can see it in his face. His appearance is shocking — he lost 40 pounds of weight in just two months.
If he were to have stayed in prison much longer, I fear his very life would have been in danger….
“‘I’m not a victim, I’m a target’: Ex-EDL leader Tommy Robinson breaks silence to say he suffered ‘mental torture’ in prison after 13-month jail term is quashed – as he reveals he will join family for Tenerife holiday,” by Martin Robinson and Iain Burns, Mailonline, August 2, 2018 (thanks to Harry):
Tommy Robinson is heading off to Tenerife for a fortnight with his family after being freed from jail and told his supporters: ‘I’m not their victim, I’m their target’.
Robinson left jail yesterday after winning an appeal over his 13-month contempt sentence for filming a Facebook Live video outside a trial of an alleged Asian sex gang.
He refused to speak as he walked out of HMP Onley in Northamptonshire yesterday but later posted a video on YouTube of his return home and being reunited with his three children.
He said: ‘A year ago I booked a holiday with my family for two weeks in Tenerife. We go on holiday on Friday in 24 hours. I didn’t expect to come home today’.
Yesterday judges freed him after ruling it was ‘unfair’ to give him 13 months in prison during a ‘muddled’ and ‘rushed’ court case held just five hours after his arrest.
He had confronted suspects being prosecuted in trials involving dozens of Asian men accused of grooming children as young as 11.
Robinson broadcast these exchanges to 250,000 people watching him on Facebook Live and even captured the moment police arrested him.
The 35-year-old far-right activist – who became a public figure after co-founding the English Defence League – said last night: ‘What they tried to do was to mentally destroy me. That wasn’t a prison sentence, that was mental torture If I was bitter and angry I would accept my own victimhood. I’m not their victim, I’m their target.’
Robinson also thanked his supporters around the world, including UKIP leader Gerard Batten.
He had been behind bars for two months after confronting defendants outside Leeds Crown Court on May 25….

Why on earth wouldn’t Ezra do this in a room without all the effing background noise. Annoying.
Almost as annoying as The Rebel’s primitive upside/down Comments System, which is the worst one on the net.
I like Ezra but he is a both brilliant and clueless.
Malcolm (South Afric) says
Good to see Tommy back at home, in the comfort of his wife and children.
It is a disgrace how he was treated, hopefully there will lawful repercussions on those responsible and compensation to Tommy.
John Rackham says
I agree with you. Under the circumstances, to complain about background noise is trivial to the nth. degree.
Terry Gain says
If you are going to do a job, do it to the best of your ability. Ezra can do much better than this.
mortimer says
Ezra is doing a great job on a shoestring. ARE YOU SENDING HIM CASH? NO? Start sending cash and he won’t have to do everything on a shoestring.
WHO ELSE BESIDES EZRA WAS THERE??? Not YOU!
THANK YOU EZRA!!!
Terry Gain says
I wanted to watch it. A lot of people won’t be bothered. The background noise is an unforced error. We are losing this battle. The Rebel is the only conservative blog with any following in Canada and it is very amateurish.
carpediadem says
I agree with you. You don’t need money to produce good sound, just one good microphone thoughtfully placed or a room with no background noise.Sound should be the priority of every broadcaster, otherwise do the whole thing in mime!
gravenimage says
Terry, I actually have a problem hearing when there is background noise, so I understand your concerns.
But Ezra Levant made it clear that he did not want to intrude on Tommy Robinson’s time with his family after his ordeal.
I’m glad that Tommy Robinson agreed to any interview under the circumstances; it would have been completely understandable if he had not–and I am glad that Ezra Levant has shown such support to him.
With all respect, I don’t consider either on of these heroes to be “clueless”. I wish there were more like them; and I can only aspire to doing a fraction of what they have done for the cause of freedom.
mortimer says
Tommy must have been beat, tired and dragged out.
Thanks for all you went through, Tommy.
You are the Hans Brinker of free speech.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Mortimer.
Norger says
I am struck by Tommy’s appearance in the video and the sound of his voice; he was clearly—and understandably—shaken by the experience. Solitary confinement is no joke, particularly under the circumstances that Tommy describes. I think there’s little doubt they were trying to break him. Whether one agrees with Tommy or not, this is just an absolute disgrace. Prisoners at Guantanamo are treated far better than he was.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
I don’t like Ezra …
Leon Degney says
Well.. Flavus Claudis Iulianus Bullshitus.. Stiffus crapis. What are you doing for the cause, freedom that is?
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs_uQhLvHFY
Hey you foul-mouthed know-it-all, listen to the recording.
Does that sound like the voice of a selfless crusader?
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
When it comes to, what you call “the cause,” I’ve forgotten more than you will ever know, you ZERO.
gravenimage says
Flavius, it is hard to know whether this video is accurate or not. And save for the reference to the story about some candidate that Rebel Media supposedly declined to cover, there is little here to do with their actual reporting. Even in this case, there is no indication who the candidate was, and why Levant may have chosen not to cover the story–assuming this happened.
The fellow making the video–I had to do some digging and found it is someone named Caolan Robertson–seems *enraged* that Levant often asks viewers to sign petitions–so much so that he complied a montage of his doing so. I’m not sure why he considers this beyond the pale, though.
His most serious charges are that Levant is a mean and arbitrary boss, and the implication that money donated to Rebel Media for certain causes is actually used for other matters, and that Levant dos not want this known. He does not actually offer proof of this, nor say what those other matters may be–just saying he has heard that Canada may audit Rebel Media’s accounts.
Given that the Canadian government’s dragging Levant through “human rights” court for daring to republish the Danish Mohammad Cartoons led to the shutdown of his magazine the Western Standard, I’m not sure how much stock to put in their actions now.
Caolan Robertson then says that Ezra Levant is so intent on crushing his freedom of speech that everyone better download his video now, because he will be censored–but this is dated almost a year ago, and it is still easily accessible.
Is Ezra Levant a bad boss? I have no idea–certainly, Caolan Robertson seems to think so. Is Rebel Media misusing donations? I also have no idea from this.
In any case, even assuming any of these accusations have merit, they would not seem to negate the support he has shown to Tommy Robinson.
gravenimage says
What problem do you have with this hero, Flavius?
stage9 says
AGREED! I would have preferred he did it on a beach with the relaxing crash of waves, a passing seagull overhead mine! mine! mine!), and in the distance a barely audible foghorn (Heeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaw).
But that’s just me. Where has the art of the interview gone? Tragic.
Hey, but at least Tommy’s out of prison! /s
gravenimage says
Terry, I finally had a chance to see the whole video. It won’t win any awards for sound, but I had not trouble listening to it.
Elizabeth Lawson says
My God, can it get worse? When I first saw Tommy’s picture upon his release, I was shocked. The man looked nothing like the fellow who had been arrested ( for bogus reasons) a scant few months earlier. Contrast the treatment, and its clear and visible result, with the kid glove treatment given to REAL criminals, rapists, murderers and the like, that the UK has invited its taxpayers to fund – what quite average people can clearly see is both appalling stupidity and disgusting bias. Tommy is a British patriot. He has more honour and integrity in his little finger than a thousand Theresa May’s. When are the British people going to rise up and throw out these ghastly, primitive haters of Western culture – and that other ghastly creature and her ilk – Theresa May?
Leon Degney says
Elizabeth, you have used some pretty strong adjectives to describe the British Establishment, Teresa May in particular but, I’m afraid there aren’t enough descriptors in English to really describe this person and the collective establishment. What a sick bunch they are. What is their goal, or do they even have one? When Britain becomes unlivable for the average person what then? Why are the police generally complicit in enforcing their ridiculous laws and terrorising those who object to them? If it is to protect their pensions, where do most of them intend to live when they retire because they certainly won’t be able to live in Britain, the silly bastards? I fear a civil war is looming, the future prospects for the average Briton and their families is at stake. Time to wheel out and sharpen the guillotines to get rid of the establishment and the weak as piddle Monarchy who are sitting on their hands doing NOTHING for their people. My thoughts are that Charlie boy, the snivelling coward is entirely complicit in the Islamic invasion.
StellaSaidSo says
Charles has already stated that, as King, he will be ‘Defender of Faith’ rather than ‘Defender of the Faith’, which is his historic duty. He is dancing to the globalist fiddle. It is worth noting that Harry and his ho are rabid leftists, who were desperate to have the Obamas present at their nuptials. I wonder how long the British Monarchy will survive once HM passes.
Jayell says
Can’t help noticing that Leon Degney refers to ‘Teresa (without the ‘h’) May’. This particular Ms. May is, I am reliably informed, an established porn star, and apparently is more than competent at what she does, NOT that I have any experience to judge. The other Ms. May is the disingenuous, dithering, incompetent excuse for a Prime Minister who spells her first name with an ‘h’. And we’ve all had more than enough experience of HER.
somehistory says
After being released, the best part of the story is that he sees what his enemies are trying to do and seems determined not to let it happen.
islam and its adherents, and those too dumb and blind to see the handwriting on the wall (see the book of Daniel in the Bible), are servants of mankind’s greatest enemy…satan the devil.
Kessler says
Seems they did their best to break him, but didn’t manage. Who knows what would have happened if he wasn’t released early. They want him dead or at least so broken and scared that he will submit. He is a massive inconvenience to the establishment as he speaks the uncomfortable truth and people get it. Can’t have that in our new “democracy”
gravenimage says
Hideous but true.
gravenimage says
Tommy Robinson is a great hero.
Tom says
Ezra said in a broadcast from London yesterday that Tommy, although in sitary confinement, was harassed, threatened and spat upon regularly in incidents that were “allowed” by the peison guards.
Prisoners would come up to his cell door, open the flap and shout threats, his cell window had to be kept closed, even in the heat of a stifling hot summer, because prisoners would stand at the window and spit into his cell, on 3 occasions, his cell door was “accidentally” legt unlocked by guards.
The treatment he endured is nothing less than psychological torture and mental abuse. It’s no wonder that he lost weight.
The man is a hero, for standing up for the most vulnerable children, and those who allowed him to be threatened and abused are traitors and criminals who must be brought to justice.
The buck stops at May and she must resign.
rightrightright says
End of April May appointed a Moslem as Home Secretary, Sajid Javid. Between them they obviously planned Tommy’s snatch and subsequent torment in prison, aided by the Police and a dodgy prison governor.
That video is painful to watch. Even Tommy’s voice sounds thin. No doubt from lack of exercise as he had nobody to talk to.
Jayell says
Yes, isn’t funny how this happened soon after Javid took over? For decades, centuries, whatever, we in the UK fought against this sort of thing. Now a genuine British citizen protests publicly against the sort of totally un-British, obscene industrial depravity imported into the UK by Pakistani muslims and – lo and behold – we have the UK Government operating third-world banana republic tactics in response under the aegis of – wait for it – a Pakistani muslim who”s managed to get himself promoted into the very key government position responsible for this debacle. Javid was in a position to ensure that (a) this outrage never occurred in the first place and (b) the authorities conducted themselves in a correct and honourable fashion so that Mr. Robinson did not suffer unnecessarily as a result of this gross miscarriage of justice. He did absolutely nothing of the sort. Javid is responsible for allowing the reputation of the UK to be dragged through the gutter if not actually actively creating the situation.
StellaSaidSo says
Well said.
Javid’s elevation to Home Secretary is part of a bigger plan. He is being positioned as a future PM. God help us.
Anne Smith says
Javid has fooled most of the British by declaring his love for Mrs Thatcher and pretending he is a non practicing Muslim.
He took his Parliamentary oath on the Koran and asked that no infidel be allowed to touch it.
He has pulled the wool over the Brit’s eyes with the rape scandal by ordering an enquiry into the ethnicity of the rape gangs. People think this means he is actually interested in the hows and whys and seeing how to prevent these terrible outrages in future. I think he is doing this to try to prove that the rape gangs were motivated, not by the teachings of the Koran which sanctions rape on infidels, but by their heritage and background. it seems most of them are Pakistanis, by breeding even if they were born in UK, and they will try to pin the blame on a particular area in Pakistan and say it was a “cultural” tradition, yes, very unfortunate but actually nothing to do with being Muslim. It will absolve Islam from any blame for the huge scandal which inolves most towns in Britain with a Muslim population.
gravenimage says
Shameful, Tom, rightrightright, and Jayell.
Westman says
It appears that British Elite have sunk sufficiently low to use, without conscience, the machinery of government to literally kill anyone who draws attention to their obvious incompetence in dealing with Islam-related criminality.
Jayell says
When you use the word ‘conscience’ you are surely referring to an element of the Christian-based Western mindset that monitors human actions to avoid unacceptable departures from the highest standards of behaviour. As soon as you import a different mindset and allow it to achieve any influence, you immediately compromise those standards. We have seen enough examples in the UK Parliament of muslims who have been allowed their voice and who have consequently descrated the place with their totally unprincipled antediluvian drivel. As far as Mr. Robinson is concerned, the impostor Javid has been Home Secretary throughout the entire outrage, and I hold him entirely responsible for the scandal that has sullied the reputation of the UK, just as the impostor Khan is clearly responsible for primeval mess that is now London.
MAUREEN ROBERTS says
No wonder Tommy has lost 3 stone in weight , he lived on a can of tuna every day , and a some fruit , as the meals are prepared by the Muslim inmates, so they could have poisoned his food. There should be an investigation of the inhumane treatment he received ,but there won’t be, but if that had happened to the Pakistan grooming gangs whilst in prison the MSM would be having a field day. The UK is sick to the core.
Jayell says
The infamous and indescribably obnoxious Anjem Choudhury is due for release from a well-deserved prison sentence just about now. By all appearances, this smirking, loathesome parasite had become noticeably overweight at the taxpayers’ expense before he went away for his holiday in one of Her Majesty’s hotels. I wonder how many pounds HE has shed in the interim? We certainly know how many pounds (sterling) the British taxpayer has lost because of this failed human abortion.

“The Independent” ( a leftist, pro-Islam on-line ‘newspaper’ ) is running a smear piece today that states Tommy Robinson received money from around the world while in prison.
This is an attempt to underline the Islamic claim that anyone who criticizes Islam is doing it for gain, because no one could possibly criticize Islam as a matter of conscience!
But Tommy Robinson’s future media contributions will eclipse the number of readers/viewers of leftist trash like “The Independent”.
Norger says
Yes. As if the $26k or so in donations he received even remotely begins to compensate him for two months in solitary confinement or makes him some kind of profiteer. A British citizen was effectively sentenced to a year of solitary confinement for civil contempt. Barbaric, inhumane, ludicrously disproportionate to the alleged offense. An absolute digrace.

(“contempt of court” to be accurate.) The reality is that it is Tommy Robinson (and others) who wish to see the law upheld and applied “without fear or favour”, and it is elements of the judiciary who actually hold the court system in contempt by using it to further their political beliefs, placate their political allies, line their pockets, and silence those who believe in the rule of law.
Tommy Robinson would be an honoured guest in my house – on the other hand, if I ever found Judge Geoffrey Marson on my door-step, I’d take great delight in physically ejecting him from my property accompanied by a few home-truths.
This was an extra-judicial incarceration imposed by a secret court, and TR deserves – (but won’t receive) – a public apology and a large sum in compensation.

This is a valuable video for friends of freedom to see worldwide. I would love to see it cleaned up with subtitles to catch every word.
Terry Gain says
We wouldn’t need subtitles if Ezra had done a professional job and asked Tommy if he had a quiet room in which to conduct the interview and if not asked that the talkers get some fresh air. This Important interview won’t get the coverage it needs because it is hard to hear. The complacency over this inept work is not surprising but it is unhelpful.
Baucent says
Get off the complaint about sound. The focus should be on Tommy and what he has suffered at the hands of British authorities, not your irritation at Ezra. I understood the interview perfectly well.
Pete says
Terry. I had no issues in hearing what was said despite the background noise. I did not use headphones, perhaps you can try using them.

Based on the appeal decision, the person truly.belonging behind bars is none other than Judge Geoffrey Marson.
Michael Copeland says
To reiterate what Ezra reported from the Appeal case:
* The judge should not have put Tommy on trial that same day
* The judge should not have conducted the trial “summarily”
* The judge should have clearly seen that Tommy’s lawyer did not have proper time to prepare his case
* The judge never presented what Tommy had allegedly done wrong
* The judge did not watch the entire video of Tommy, that supposedly was proof of his contempt
* The judge did not follow the criminal procedure rules
* The judge pronounced a sentence that was disproportionate
There is a convention, if not a rule, that if a judge witnesses an arrest he must not act in the case. The judge observed Tommy from an upstairs window. He may well have witnessed the arrest, and may even have requested it.
The judge has a lot to answer for.
Warble Gloaming says
From now on Judge Marson is Judge Marsupial.
Bill says
The Judge should not be on the Bench (except for the one provided to him in solitary (for the Judges own protection, of course). That would be a good starting point for his answering for his Gestapo tactics.
Norger says
@Michael Copeland
The last puts a point of emphasis on the judge’s misconduct;the judge “obviously”let his emotions over rule any semblance of objectivity. I did’t realize until today that this was essentially a civil (not criminal) contempt case. You just don’t give someone a year of solitary confinement for that.
Phil Copson says
“…. The judge should have clearly seen that Tommy’s lawyer did not have proper time to prepare his case….”
———————————————————————————
In the sense that “see that” is a colloquialism for “make sure that”, then seeing/ensuring that TR’s lawyer did not have time to prepare, is undoubtedly what Marson did in his head-long rush to imprison Tommy Robinson and then cover his tracks by imposing a reporting ban.
Westman says
This political prisoner business reminds me of the imprisoning of Nelson Mandela.
It seems ironic that the leaders of the nation that once colonized and mistreated colonists(as inferiors) is now trying desperately to supress the fact that it is now being colonized.

The awful treatment that the British patriot, Tommy Robinson received for speaking out the truth about dangerous and subversive powers of Islam in England and other Western nations is shameful. That Mr. Robinson was treat in such terrible ways and that British court ruling only prove the point that many zealous Muslims, by hook or by crook, are making gains in the West for Islam.
This is what is known as the Stealth jihad otherwise called the Muslim method of Islamic Gradualism. In contrast to the way of the violent jihad or also called the militant jihad .This non-violent form of the jihad for Islam is a very sly, insidious, subtle and deceptive way of working for the advancement of Islam.
This Muslim scheme for achieving the goal of the Islamic agenda is as, many times, as subtly effective as it is demonically clever. Furthermore, this Islamic gradualism, in some ways, is very similar to the instruction printed in the book entitled THE ART OF WAR by Sun Tzu. Which reads “At first, then, exhibit the coyness of a maiden, until the enemy gives you an opening; afterwards emulate the rapidity of a running hare, and it will be too late for the enemy to opposes you”

This is going to happen again to Tommy Robinson. Theresa May, while she is in power, and her treasonous minions like nnos
I hope his closest and most trusted supporters are better prepared next time. For example, a competent non-government security team has to be put together in advance to protect Tommy’s family.
His family was threatened and Tommy R knew it. He was powerless to protect them. That itself was probably part of the government program of torture and brainwashing done at Olney. Tommy needs to know for certain next time he is incarcerated that his family is secure no matter what happens.
His supporters have to have a plan to not make it so easy for police to just walk up and arrest him. They have to work their way through a body of support in order for Tommy to have time to get to a place where he can be properly served with process and have counsel on hand to protect his rights and to document UK abusive tactics.

I have no disagreement with you, Stacy Girl. Too bad though that the media isn’t better informed, has proper priorities in order and just reports the news rather than, anymore, in effect editorializing ad nauseam, one of which’s ill results is what you mentioned, i.e., deciding what news will be presented to us and what won’t be. In short, mainstream journalism died a while ago.
Fortunately, though, here in America we who are not skewered by Leftist thought have the First Amendment (which is dependent on the Second Amendment remaining ungutted), talk radio and the Internet. If the Left gets its way, however, all that I just mentioned will be done away with and America will become, let’s see here, like Western European countries which don’t have a First Amendment, a Second Amendment, independent radio and an Internet nearly as free as what still exists in the US. Again, America shows the way to liberty while Western Europe gets it wrong yet one more time.

What no one seems to understand is that there is now a large Islamic presence in the UK legal, security, and prison bureaucracy. Doubtlessly also in the commissions overseeing elections, school boards, etc.
In a word, it is Over. The EU is in a race to duplicate this on the European continent.
Islamists do not need to be a majority to take over your country.
They just need enough votes to swing election outcomes consistently in their favor.
Their people on the inside will take care of the rest.
But you can pretend that you still have a country.
That makes things easier for everyone.

I watched the video and not with a dry eye.
This man is a hero for the people and human rights.
He is standing up to Goliath for the honor of women…
true chivalry in action.
But… we already knew that.
It is one thing to ‘know,’ it is another to ‘feel’ it.
It is very moving to watch this.
Like being there with him.
We are with him… in solidarity… and we shook and rattled the foundations of those in power who were holding him there. It was the UK and EU leaders themselves who wanted him to suffer for his actions. He is their enemy, not the thousands of muslim criminals. They wanted to make an example of him. But instead of a scare tactic, it became a rallying battle cry and banner for the people to unite around in power and boldness. Fearlessly with self sacrifice is the only way.
He is the symbol of valiance and virtue rolled into one, the new Braveheart of the UK.
We love you Tommy, and you are not alone!
I know what lay ahead and that the days are dark. I know my lot.
I have surrendered to it without an eyeblink. One day, that will be me, only much more, for a different reason but not unrelated to that cause. And not only me. For this reason I also feel a sort of comradery with him. Often I have imagined going without everything that I now enjoy, basically having nothing but suffering as he has had. For what I love most, it is more than worth it.
To add a pinch of humor to this I must share this… and it is true… as I was sitting there in the middle of watching the video just right now, right after he had talked about not having enough food and losing all that weight, as I sat with my watery eyes and ears glued to the video… in walks my relative announcing; “ice cream!” as she does when she is inviting me to share some. Well I shrugged her off and she could see I was immersed in something deeply. But then, a couple of minutes later… she shows up right under my nose with a bowl full of delicious ice cream for me, ready to eat, almost melting in the heat even with the fans on! And she never does that! I had to laugh, it was like such a temptation set up! Like the devil is whispering in your ear: “no more ice cream!” Well, frankly I’m fine without it. For the same reason, I have also given up coffee, which was less easy. MUCH less.
And, that was the last bastion. The days are coming and we all must prepare for what lay ahead.

I have no problem with your being able to enjoy ice cream on a hot day, Lydia. I don’t think that Tommy Robinson needs people to suffer with him, but to boldly stand with him.
I hope he gets a chance to have some ice cream himself now that he is finally out.
John Forbes says
This was very obviously an attempt to mentally &physically break Robinson!
This needs to be universally highlighted as he has been quite badly mentally affected.
Go after this TERESA MAY, JAVID – HOME SECRETARY & POLICE COMMANDERS & EXPOSE who DEMANDED the PRISON CHANGE FROM HULL TO ONLEY.
He needs to be protected because the Authorities are going to line up for another bash!

We should be zeroing in on the one who is really responsible for the cruelty, sadism and vileness of this whole episode. The barren sharia May.
Then go for the moslem Home Secretary and this truly disgusting judge. But don’t forget the scum in the jail etc who let it all happen.
Please do wipe the smirk off M-arson’s face and strip him of his QC.

Tommy is going back to trial. The fix is in. This time they will be sure to get get all the trappings right in another show trial, sentence him for a longer period of time and make sure he does not come out.
When that happens what will the good citizens of England do then?
Terry Gain says
My prediction is that – unless Tommy is entitled to a Jury trial, and I don’t think he is -,the conviction will not be overturned, but the sentence will be reduced to time served. This is a result which will attempt to satisfy the government and Tommy’s supporters.
Bill says
Were that to happen, it should not satisfy Tommy or his supporters. Such a decision would overturn any precedent that allows reporting information already in the public domain, which is what Tommy was doing when he was falsely arrested, convicted, imprisoned and tortured. It would be another blow to free speech which would only be enforced selectively against critics of the government.
Terry Gain says
I didn’t say it would satisfy Tommy’s supporters but the Court is likely to think it will quell support for him.
Susan B says
Terry why do you think that further injustice to Tommy would quell his support???? It would increase his support. Again Terry I am beginning to think you are an impostor pretending to care about freedom while on the side of the UKs KGB. I am losing patience with enablers like you and could care less if you are insulted.
Susan B says
Terry Gain, that would be an injustice again. Tommy should be able to have the kangaroo judge disbarred and should be able to sue the prisons system that treated him 100 times worse than they did the many islamic rapist of little girls. Terry you seem to have picked the side of the KGB government. I am beginning to think you are an impostor.

Unless it was staged somehow, the number of leftist morons that came out to protest Trump’s visit compared to anything else is a sad sign of where Britain is heading.
Are there that many people who are that clueless and stupid?. You all know what I mean.
Remember when Trump went to the UK recently?. NO one even met him but the queen and tens of thousands of leftist idiots were out bitching and protesting.
There were a lot for Tommy, but nothing to the number that turned out that were moronic leftist idiots.
If it’s that bad over there, I don’t know what revolution will be brewing….they need sharia, and I hope those leftist morons get it in spades.

You should keep to your area of expertise. Mine is persuasion and presentation.
Ezra is doing a great job in hiring. He has assembled a crew of very good reporters, especially David Menzies and Sheila Gunn Reid. He is however doing a poor job of creating a great website and as a result it does not have much of a following.
The comments platform is pathetic. Not only is it upside down, with the bottom of, for example, page 2 containing the first comment of a thread, there is no facility for a Reply ( which means it is not easy to have a discussion or get into a good and emotionally satisfying argument). And each article does not have its own designated thread, like on every other blog.
So, yes, I don’t doubt that Ezra is operating on a shoestring budget and this is one reason why. His blog is so amateurish it has attracted a very small following which is disproportionately low in comparison to the value of the news and opinions posted.
I have not sent Ezra money but I have made suggestions for improvements on a half a dozen occasions and have said I will become a premium member if these changes are made but not before.
I also warned Ezra about Faith Goldy. When the M-103 controversy arose she wrote an article under the caption Freedom To Offend. I pointed out that the caption should be changed to Freedom To Criticize as the vast majority of Canadians are not interested in speaking out for the purpose of offending Muslims. They would in fact find the caption offensive.
During the controversy Goldy went too far and the Rebel was subjected to a torrent of criticism from the MSM and nearly collapsed.
Your best friends tell you the truth. I have been a good friend to the Rebel and I greatly admire Ezra Levant. Minor changes in his approach will reap great benefits.
It wouldn’t have cost a shilling to ask the others in Tommy’s house to please be quiet so that this first interview of Tommy after his ordeal could be heard without all the annoying and unnecessary background noise.

I have few heroes. Some of them are British, ie. Tommy Robinson. Also among them are Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher and the genius of William Shakespeare. . My American list is longer, but today we celebrate the release of Tommy Robinson, a brave man who sees what is happening to his country and is trying to inform the British public that they are in danger of this foreign invasion. It is difficult to understand why the UK has come to this, banning free speech and surrendering to barbarians who have taken over their country. Tommy Robinson is one who will not surrender.
Do we live in the Dark ages when torture in prisons was allowed? Is England regressing to times before the Magna Carta? Do the British even care? Will they ever wake up? There is a book written by J F Kennedy, “Why England Slept” England is not only sleeping now, but seems to be in a coma.
Terry Gain says
After watching Tucker Carlson’s brief interview of Tommy last night I may have been premature in my opinion that a lawsuit against the Crown would not be successful.
If what Tommy says is true, and i have no reason to doubt him, the prosecution and imprisonment are horrifying. Muslim terrorists receive better treatment in Gitmo. Much better.
The next person to be imprisoned for anti-Jihad activity in May’s Sharia compliant country should demand the Robert Spencer’s new book be delivered by a prison guard wearing white gloves. And he should demand a diet that causes him to put on, not lose, 40 pounds.
StellaSaidSo says
Well said, Terry Gain. A lawsuit against the Crown would be an entirely appropriate response.

After watching this interview I must say that the British have, indeed, seen the rebirth of “the Few”. Referencing, of course Mr. Churchill’s famous speech during WWII’s “Battle of Britain”. As far as Mr. Robinson appearance there is this; “MAY 29 2003 2:52 PM The Guantanamo Thirteen Packing on the pounds at America’s toughest prison.By Manny Howards “. Packing on weight of 19 lbs average, over 14 months per the article. Shame on HM Government.
