On Tuesday I went to the studios of the Joe Piscopo Show for a wide-ranging interview on my book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, which you can order here, and the current political landscape. Joe was off; I had a terrific discussion with Frank Morano, Anthony Pope, John Tabacco, and Al Gattullo.
Also while I was in town I did in-studio appearances with Kevin McCullough and Andrew Wilkow. McCullough is holding a printout of the book’s cover because the book has sold unexpectedly well, and the publisher ran out of review copies.

I remember Joe Piscopo from when SNL was actually funny,

A thrilling, fine interview!
Robert Spencer lays out the BLATANT ways that Islam demolishes human rights, equality and civil liberties.
“The History of Jihad” by Robert Spencer will be world-changing. Politicians now have no excuse not to know about jihad.
All JIHAD is aggression against WOMEN and ‘OTHERS’ the purpose of which is to remove their human rights and civil liberties.

Two of the interviewers raise the question of calls for violence in other religions. This question was answered thoroughly be Dr. Tina Magaard of Denmark who read the primary, foundational texts of several different religions and discovered that ISLAM’S PRIMARY TEXTS CALL FOR VIOLENCE MORE THAN ALL THE OTHER SACRED TEXTS.
Danish researcher Tina Magaard, Ph.D. concluded that Islam is the most warlike religion. After three years analyzing the original texts of ten different religions, Tina Magaard concluded that the Islamic texts stand out by encouraging terror and violence to a larger degree than other religions do. She stated that ‘Islamic texts encourage terror and fighting to a far larger degree than the original texts of other religions. The texts in Islam distinguish themselves from the texts of other religions by encouraging violence and aggression against people with other religious beliefs to a larger degree.’
“What is striking is not in itself that one can find murderous passages in the Islamic texts, as such passages can also be found in other religions. But it is striking how much space these passages take up in the Islamic texts, and how much they focus on an us-and-them logic in which infidels and apostates are characterized as dirty, rotten, criminal, hypocritical and dangerous. It is also striking how much these texts demand that the reader fight the infidels, both with words and with the sword. In many passages, Muhammad plays a central role as one who encourages the use of violence, whether it comes to stonings, beheadings, acts of war or execution of critics and poets.”
Tina Magaard finds it particularly objectionable that so many Islamic scholars in her opinion knowingly fail to disclose these facts, and use their positions of power to create specific standards for what you can say. Often, they also blame Danish racism rather than objectively stating that extremists actually find justifications for using violence and threats in Islam’s holy scriptures.

Yes. And what’s more, Magaard is a linguist who apparently read the foundational texts of ten major religions in the original languages. That was the basis of her conclusion that the Islamic texts were the most aggressive against other groups.
Felix Quigley says
They are liars. The important question is why they lie. The blueprint for this form of lie is in George Bush after 9.11
Nobody has come with an answer to this as yet.
But that is the key question to ask.
My own view is that it is a question of ideology. These are very hardened forms of ideology which have been formed and recreated generation after generation by a ruling capitalist class (capitalism in our era) and which lead people to take up positions.
For example, you Mortimer, Wellington, and possibly others on Jihadwatch, leading contributors in the comments section, was supportive of the war of Clinton in support of the very important Jihadist of our times Izetbegovic, to wage war on the Serbs in support of a Jihadist Islamist state.
Place that against what you write here today every day…inexplicable! Would like your opinion.

Great discussion, everyone was good here. Mr. Spencer is at the top of his game, articulate, factual, and brilliantly persuasive. Thanks Robert Spencer, you work hard for us and I appreciate it. Take care of yourself. 🙂

When people hear Robert speak, especially those who realize something’s wrong but can’t pinpoint it, everything falls into place. It all begins to make sense. For that reason the left/Muslims work really hard to shut him up. But we have the truth; they don’t.

So true. And good to see you posting again, Frank.

The United Kingdom actually HAS shut up Robert Spencer. Teresa May banned Robert Spencer from entering the country !! As a UK citizen I am ashamed.
The UK made a huge mistake: Spencer is probably the foremost Western authority on Islam, and to refuse to hear what he is saying about Islam’s reality will not help the UK to deal with what is happening today.
eduardo odraude says
This was a great interview. Robert Spencer was at the top of his game here.
Frank Scarn says
Because he knows the Muslims’ game he hits the bullseye every time. I hope Joe Piscopo/his show, plus others, have Robert on more and more.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
“There are no good guys (Mohammadan states) in this.” – Robert Spencer.
Bravo Robert! You are so right. One should never dance with the devil.

So true.

I just put the book in my Amazon cart. Next time I order something I will order that as well. Congratulations Mr. Spencer for the overwhelming success of the book. I hope everyone reads it. I will on time.

Mr. Spencer’s book just arrived in the mail a minute ago. :):):)
It is finally IN HAND. No more worries of First Amendment book banning, post office losing it, etc.
Fortunately, I have heard no more about the Ellison letter issue nor Mr. Bezos response, so hopefully, Mr. Bezos does not give into Communist whining from a “qadi wannabe” congressman, and I use the word ‘congressman’ very loosely.
There is another book coming out at the end of the month by another good author on the topic of Islam, jihad, etc. I do not want to advertise someone else’s book on Mr. Spencer’s site, so I will leave it to the informed readers to know to whom I refer.
