While Pope Francis demanded the tiny Baltic nations open up to mass migration Saturday, Estonia said it backs Viktor Orbán over the need to seal European borders against the third world influx.
Pope Francis continues to preach that “Christ himself asks us to welcome our brother and sister migrants and refugees with arms wide open,” completely ignoring the fact that resistance to mass migration has nothing to do with being xenophobic or “racist.” It is a resistance to the hijrah.
Asked whether the nation of just 1.3 million people favours a Hungarian-approach to immigration, with regards to keeping illegal immigrants out with border fences, he [Anvelt] said: “To defend our country, certainly.”
“Estonia Backs Orbán on Need for Walls as Pope Francis Demands Baltics Open the Borders,” by Virginia Hale, Breitbart, September 23, 2018:
While Pope Francis demanded the tiny Baltic nations open up to mass migration Saturday, Estonia said it backs Viktor Orbán over the need to seal European borders against the third world influx.
Interior Minister of Estonia, Andres Anvelt, said border fences rolled out by the Hungarian leader, which slashed illegal immigrant numbers by more than 99 percent, were serving to protect the continent, stating that asylum seekers with no right to be in Europe must be kept out.
“I fully support [proposals asserting] that we have to address this problem outside the EU,” he said in a television interview, telling state broadcaster ETV: “We have to travel to third countries and start defending our border there, yes, and in defending our European values start establishing refugee camps as well.”
During an appearance on Studio 1 Thursday, the minister said Orbán “was definitely defending [Europe]” in his construction of fences along the EU’s external borders, adding: “We are doing the exact same thing.”
Anvelt pointed to the situation regarding this summer’s World Cup tournament in Russia, which shares a border with Estonia, noting thousands of ticket holders for the event who travelled from third world nations have reportedly since made their way to Europe.
“Russia itself officially said for the first time that they have lost at least 10,000 people,” Estonian Public Broadcasting reported the minister saying. “These were the exact same economic migrants from Bangladesh, [from] somewhere in Senegal and so on that were moving toward Europe.”
Asked whether the nation of just 1.3 million people favours a Hungarian-approach to immigration, with regards to keeping illegal immigrants out with border fences, he said: “To defend our country, certainly.”….

This dhimmi “pope” is a shame and a disgrace.
Why doesn’t he ask Saudi Arabia, Quatar or Iran to welcome those so-called “refugees” – in fact, mere foot soldiers of the invasion of the West by islam.
Why does this satanic pope not do his duty of spreading the Gospel around the world and in particular in the islamic countries? Why doesn’t he call for those countries to stop persecuting Christians?
What can his deposed predecessor Benedict XVI be thinking of all that?!

You are 100% correct…this socialist disgrace of a pope should spend more time thinking about how the Vatican can aid Christians in the Arab countries who are being systematically murdered by barbaric, evil muslims while their homes and churches burn. Instead, he has the nerve to make demands on sovereign nations to open their borders to the most violent and dangerous scourge to western civilization ever known by mankind. He should take a lesson from the life of a true Christian saint, Pope John Paul II, and how he dedicated his life to the defense of those suffering under Communism and the destruction of that evil ideology. Instead, he twists the teachings of Christ in defense of a bankrupt culture whose people practice an evil “religion”. If he ever read the koran or actually researched its teachings, he would know that its goal is the complete destruction of western civilization and the subjugation of all its people. Islam knows nothing of peace. All it understands is submission, death, pedophilia and rape. I guess the rape of the women and children of Europe and the murder of Jews and Christians is acceptable to this so-called Pope, as long as his demands are carried through.

No, not the end. Just the end of Christianity for many “Christians” who are only nominally Christians. The Vatican is very spacy and has a lot of art, gold and billions of cash and stocks. The art and gold could be sold to feed his beloved refugees once they get shelter in the Vatican and Lateran, which is the Pope’s summer residency. It is easy to tell countries what to do and don’t take a part in housing and paying for those people. He should be foremostly worried about the child abuse in the Catholic church which is now causing big problems in Germany because it was swept under the carpet for so long.

Hasn’t Heaven itself been described as having walls around it with a gate protected by St. Peter himself holding the keys? The Pope should not be disparaging people who build walls and fences. His concern should be with the gate and what a person must do to get through the gate.
The Pope has a serious misunderstanding of the message of Christ. The Pope’s instructions from Christ are to bring the words of Christ to the people …. and then for those people to come to Christ The Pope should be wanting to build a church at every gate so that these “immigrants” may find refuge in Christ. His first concern should be with the souls of these people. Instead, this Pope proves he cares only about the needs of the flesh while he ignores the needs of the spirit. He is a man who thinks in the same terms as Judas Iscariot.
eduardo odraude says
The Pope seems to be moved by “love” but unaware of the truth about Islam. Others are concerned by “truth” about Islam but lack all love for Muslims. What seems most needed in the situation is tough love that speaks the truth about Islam while caring for Muslims, in the sense of helping them in all ways possible outside of Europe. They should only be allowed into Europe when a majority of Muslim-majority nations protect freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Otherwise Europe recklessly risks throwing away thousands of years of civilizational progress. Before we let in more Muslims, they must do a much better job of demonstrating they can handle religious freedom. Right now the Islamic world has the worst human rights record of any cultural domain on the globe. Even on an airplane mothers are advised that in an emergency they must put on their own oxygen masks before helping their own children. Europe must first secure itself as a free society if it wants to have any real chance of helping others.

In my 1:54 pm comment I’m not referring to Muslims who are already citizens. CogitoErgoSum says
This Pope brings a twisted message of Christ to the world. He recently spoke of “The Great Accuser,” who is Satan, and made it appear that when a person is accused of something silence is the best response because Christ remained silent as He let Himself be crucified. However, it is not true that Christ remained silent. When asked by Pilate about the charge against Jesus that He had set Himself up as a king in opposition to Caesar, Jesus spoke saying:
“My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place. You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
So Jesus was NOT silent. He spoke the truth. His silence came when Pilate asked Him, “What is the truth?” Pilate did not know the truth because he did not listen when Jesus was speaking.
How do you get through to people who will neither seek the truth nor listen to the truth? They simply make the truth into whatever they want it to be or avoid it completely ….. as the Pope is now doing. It may work a little while for him but he eventually will face the truth.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
Yes, Francis made a veiled insinuation that Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò was Satan. And, yes, Francis has repeatedly put himself and guilty clerics in the role of the suffering Christ during this pedophile crisis.

The Pope has the right to put words into the mouth of Christ? While I recognize that there are good things about the Catholic Church, this is the type of situation where I have problems with it. I’m concerned that many (far from all) of the world’s Catholics will simply take it on the Pope’s authority that he speaks for Christ in this matter. Does Christ want no resistance to the import of a totalitarian system into Europe? Even if an adult might have the moral right to risk generosity toward jihadists in the hope it will all work out in the end, do we also have the right to “generously” risk innocent others who are under attack? Christianity may ask us to turn our cheeks on our own behalf, but does it ask us to turn our cheeks when we see others in our vicinity, children, and the future of Europe, are being attacked, invaded, and oppressed by a totalitarian expansionist system? Christians when acting asChristians may not ever use force to spread Christianity, but Christianity allows a distinct space for the realm of Caesar, and Christians can use lawful force to defend “Caesar’s” realm, or a relatively just social order, when it is being attacked by a totalitarian order.

Michael Francis Poulin says
Francis and his kind have replaced the true gospel of Jesus Christ with the false gospel of “social justice.” The large majority of Catholics have fallen into the same trap, changing the religion of Catholicism into a human centered institution which is entirely focused on this world. In Catholic terms, it is the heresy of “modernism” which generally makes man the center of all things, rather than God. Modernism de-thrones Christ the King and makes Man the summit of all that is. This heresy makes human individual conscience the gold standard for any and all behavior…Modernism denies the supernatural and revelation. It denies the authority of Sacred scripture and ignores 20 centuries of Catholic tradition as irrelevant… Modernism denies sin and waffles about “accompanyment” and refuses to condemn sin as sin. Since it is not hip anymore to do what Jesus actually told them to do, i.e. make disciples from all nations, baptize them and teach them, the hierarchy searches about for something worldly to cling to so they will feel relevant. Thus they spend their time and our money making stupid pronouncements on every subject under the sun, except what Jesus taught- and partake of worldly pleasures and decadence which leads to the destruction of so many souls…To remain a true Catholic one has to ignore the Pope and his evil henchmen – who are hirelings intent on destroying the flock. Jesus told us how to spot a false shepherd: “By their fruits you will know them.” The current institution that calls itself the Catholic Church, is really an institution run by anti-Catholic heretics from the Pope on down…

James Lincoln says
Is it possible to remove a Pope who is actively working against the promotion of Christianity throughout the world?
The research that I have done seems to conclude that this simply cannot be done. It seems that the Pope has to either voluntarily retire – or die.
If the Catholic Church were a Fortune 500 company, the lack of any mechanism to remove a CEO would be intolerable.
Wellington says
Nope, not possible to remove a Pope, James (of course, slipping him some poison in the best of the Renaissance tradition could do so, but I’m confining myself here to upfront, canonical law). Back in the late Middle Ages, the conciliar movement picked up some steam after the twin disasters of the Avignonese period of the papacy (1309-1378) and the Great Schism (1378-1415), whereby a general council would actually be superior to the institution of the papacy, but this “attempt” died as the fifteenth century wore on and has not been revived since.
The Council of Trent (1545-1563) not only completely repudiated Protestantism and adamantly defined Catholic doctrine (replete with the Jesuits sanctioned as an order, the Roman Inquisition established, the Index promulgated, etc.) but it insured the power of the papacy over any conciliar movement, made all the more certain by Vatican I (1869-1870) while Pius IX was Pope which officially promulgated the infallibility doctrine.
The papacy is really a leftover of the divine right of kings doctrine, done away with peacefully by the English in 1688 and violently by the French Revolution and Russian Revolution. In short, the papacy is some kind of magnificent anachronism which can work quite well if you have a wise man (examples being Leo XIII, Pius XI and Benedict XVI) as pontifex maximus but works terribly when you have a fool or worse as pontiff, like the one right now.
In brief, Catholics and all the world are stuck with the doofus now Pope. And short of death or abdication (extremely rare), Catholics (and the world) are stuck with the SOB. But here’s the worst of it: By now, Francis has appointed a good many of the cardinals and bishops and these guys pretty much, if not completely, think as Francis does. So, the real problem which Francis has created will live long after his death. Damn, because a Catholic Church with its head on straight, put its theology aside, is a boon to Western Civilization. Ain’t now. And it doesn’t look good in the coming years either. Just sayin’.
James Lincoln says
Wellington,
Thank you so much for your insight.
Unfortunately, you have corroborated my worst fears about the present Pope and the current state of the Catholic Church.
You astutely pointed out an additional issue that I had not really thought of: Pope Francis has already appointed many Cardinals and Bishops that think the same way that he does. So the problem will persist for a very long time, even after the current Pope is gone.
Just wondering if there’s anything that the average bread-and-butter Catholic parishioners can do as a group. I’m thinking a mass boycott regarding donations, etc.
Wellington says
The “money element,” which you mentioned, James, might be the one way to influence matters in a positive direction but even here it will be a very steep uphill struggle. Besides, there are a lot of Catholics who are liberal (which makes no more sense to me than Jews being liberal). Right now, I see the Catholic Church as being in big trouble and remaining that way into the indefinite future. Not good for the Church, not good for the West, not good for freedom.
