Glenn Beck recently interviewed me. “You can hear that whole interview. It’s fascinating, and I highly recommend it. In fact, I don’t even know if you can do this, but I’d burn it to DVD. I highly recommend that you listen to this guy, and make your own mind up. But do your own homework. Find out why you disagree with him. It will make you stronger either way.”
In this show, Glenn discusses my being deplatformed and silenced, and talks about our interview:
And here is the interview itself:
You can order The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS here.

Great to hear!

Glen Beck is not a conservative and is a huckster. I thought his book Control was a farce. So we save 2A and destroy 1A by blaming and banning video games for “gun violence”. He has lost me on other topics as well.

Seriously, you ever read his stuff and watch his antics? For awhile they regularly exposed him on Breitbart.
This is for all the Glen Beck stooges out there and I could come up with a lot more.

Carol the 1st says
That was two years ago and it looks like Beck has now adjusted his thinking per recordings above.
Carol the 1st says
One thing surprising however is Beck implying that Germany encouraged or brought anti-semitism to the Middle East (but Robert set him straight on that 46 – 49).
It’s just alarming when someone well-informed and well-intentioned like Beck (who claims to have “studied the Holocaust”) still doesn’t know the basics about Islam.
Frank Anderson says
Carol, before the start of WWII, Adolf Eichman was meeting with Jewish representatives to facilitate the exodus of Jews to Israel (when it was British occupied and controlled Palestine). Originally the meeting was set to be in Israel but because of muslim riots the meeting was held in Egypt. At the same time Eichman was meeting with muslims to support their efforts to tie up the British with their rebellion.
During the war, the British named and appointed Grand Mufti openly collaborated with Hitler and helped raise at least 2 divisions (about 20,000 men) of the most brutal, blood-thirsty, murderous muslims for the SS to aid in the Holocaust.
After the war Hitler’s favorite “:troubleshooter” and killer (Otto Skorzeny) escaped to Egypt where he trained and led muslim terrorists to fight the Jews. To this day sales of Mein Kampf rival sales and distribution of the koran in muslim countries. While islam has been anti-Jewish for 1400 years, seeking the murder of every Jew who lives anywhere, WWII Germany helped make islam the force for terror it is today.
gravenimage says
This is true, Indiana Tom–but I’m still glad to see Beck–who is quite influential–giving Robert Spencer and his book a platform here.
Frank Anderson says
If ever in history 2 people should work together for a common interest and cause, these 2 should. I would not know of Robert Spencer or the lie “Religion of Peace” if I had not heard Glenn Beck. “A two-fold cord is strong; but a three-fold cord is not easily broken.”
mortimer says
Glenn Beck has shown integrity by promoting The History of Jihad. Media kings should start realizing that the media are KILLED in Islamic countries for even HINTING at the truth.
The Western media kings are PROMOTING CENSORSHIP and also promoting the PERSECUTION of journalists.
Do the Western editors and media owners really want to send their journalists into place where they will get KILLED or imprisoned by Islam? No?
Well, sure as HELL better start fighting JIHAD RIGHT NOW… if they give a DAMN about journalists.
In future, journalists who report on jihad will be KILLED on sight if we all don’t FIGHT JIHAD TOGETHER.
Editors, DO YOU GET IT? You people are on the front line of jihad!
Garfield says
Slowly Mr. Spencer’s book is reaching the masses! Hope!!!!
Bosch Fawstin says
While I’m glad that Beck at least had Robert on, Buck is so mixed up on the subject of Islam, that it’s tough to hear him say anything on it. In 2007, he lied by saying “I have read the koran and I can unequivocally say that Islam is a religion of peace”, and then he released a book about the “truth” about Islam, a few years ago, but he then proceeded to challenge his own conclusions about it in interviews, and now, in introducing Robert, he insults Robert and the truth by saying that Robert is “technically” right about Islam. And then he pulls the old “the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful” schtick, when Islam, not Muslims, is the topic at hand, and when the truth is that “the vast majority of Muslims” don’t reject Jihad, at least not in any robust, visible, clear way. I recently got Thousands, yes, Thousands, of death threats by Muslims across social media, Muslims who are doctors, engineers, professionals of all kinds, from all over the world, who threatened to rape and murder me, and who celebrated the holocaust on my threads. So while “not all Muslims are terrorists” is true, saying that the “vast majority of Muslims are peaceful” is not. Merely NOT murdering people doesn’t make one peaceful. If “the vast majority of Muslims” had massive rallies after every jihadist attack, On a REGULAR basis, you might be able to make the case that while Islam is motivating the horror, that many Muslims are still opposed to it. But when not ONE Muslim writes me to say that “While I may hate your Mohammad cartoons, I accept that you have the right to draw him. So live and let live. Peace”, it belies the “vast majority” bs. Not one Muslim defended me against the thousands of death threats from Muslims that I recently received. Muslims have to do More than NOT Murder to be considered peaceful. They have to do more than be completely silent after jihad atrocities, they have to loudly, clearly, stand with civilization against the barbaric Islamic enemy if they want any of us to begin to see them as anything close to resembling “peaceful”. Beck reminds me of Mark Levin, who had Robert on his show a few years ago, and who said that he would have him on regularly, and then nothing. Why? Because Mark Levin is buddies with Zuhdi Jasser, who calls Islam critics like Robert “alt-jihadists”. And so Mark Levin, for all his boasts of being more learned than most, decides to side with his buddy instead of the truth. And notice that Levin praises Jasser for his military experience, for being a doctor and a patriot, and then adds, that “Oh, and he’s Muslim.” Mark Levin likes Jasser for things that have Nothing to do with Islam, and yet that’s the specter in Levin’s mind, whenever he catches a whiff of the truth about Islam, that he has the comforting thought of a lone individual, Jasser, in his mind to “prove” to himself that islam is just fine, and that it’s so-called “perverted” versions of it that are the problem. I’m sick of this crap, especially now, after 17 years of it. But I’m glad to see whenever Robert does get an opportunity to get the word out about his book.
mgoldberg says
Thank you Bosch, for your frank and forthright opinion. Indeed, most muslims are not jihadists and most do not do anything to denounce Jihadism, nor Jihadists. We have never seen any huge outcry by muslims against the horrendous homicidism by muslim jihadists.
I remember when in Mumbai, the Jihadists slaughtered and wounded some 460 or so, including going out of their way to slaughter an 8month pregnant rabbi’s wife, the rabbi, and slaughter them by cutting off his testicles first, and eviscerating her of her fetus, and slaughtering them after.
There was a call to have some interfaith meetings and that was an additional abomination. And ever since they have only become bolder as the west goes into denial mode along with muslims who demand that the bigotry that then would surface after each and every homicide, not give rise to hatred against muslims.
May you be safe and secure in your own struggles against them.
commonsense says
Amen…exactly.
Westman says
Sorry to hear that your bravery has led to so many threats, Bosch.
It seems there is some truth in the saying, “The fundamentalists want to chop off your head and the peaceful Muslims want the fundamentalists to chop off your head” (or, at the least, don’t care).
gravenimage says
Agreed, Bosch. Still glad to see Robert Spencer getting the word out far and wide.
Sovereign Man says
Hey Bosch, I appreciate your comment here. I’m not sure about it, but I think Levin doesn’t want to touch Islam for personal reasons – i.e. safety of his family, and ability to live freely. He’s mentioned as much on the air. I can’t really blame him. Look what happens to those who stand up to Islam and the sicko left.
Until the rivers are flowing with blood, the vast majority will do nothing. By then, it will be too late.
carpediadem says
Most people would want to avoid the sure danger from excoriating Islam on air and otherwise, even Muslims who want to escape it.Hence the abundance of pseudonyms online and elsewhere. but the word gets out nevertheless.
Don McKellar says
Beck is a certified loon, yet somehow he still has an audience. So it is in the big picture a good thing to be on his show.
gravenimage says
I certainly don’t agree with Beck on everything, and he does have a bit of a conspiracy theorist streak–but he is does care about America, and he is quite influential. Glad Spencer was on his show.
StellaSaidSo says
‘…he does have a bit of a conspiracy theorist streak…’
You mean he doesn’t accept without question the ‘official’ narrative?
Quite well-informed, then.
gravenimage says
The “official narrative” being that 9/11 was actually committed by Jihadists. This was, in fact, indeed the case.
And no–I have never heard that Glenn Beck is a “Truther”. This was not what I was referring to at all.
StellaSaidSo says
I never mentioned 9/11 or ‘truthers’, GI.
You seem to have hurtled into your private fantasy land again.
gravenimage says
The idea that everyone who rejects the “official narrative” on all issues is therefore “quite well-informed” is just bizarre.
Frank Anderson says
GI, as always honored and respected. Please remember the third teaching I was given the first day visiting the Jewish congregation: “Ask ALL questions repeatedly.” Never take any answer as final. Beck has wandered away from my opinions from time to time and on different subjects; but continues to impress me as an honest and talented man with something to offer. The real truth never has anything to fear from any question, no matter how often or brutally it is asked.
gravenimage says
For instance, there are those who reject the “official narrative” on the Holocaust having occurred and on Nazi Germany having been the aggressor in WWII. Are these people “well informed”, as well?
Will Richards says
Very educational and informative Robert, thank you. This is real history, and should be included in the curriculum of every Western school and college, so that even if kids grow up to become muslims, or meekly accept the imposition of islam, at least they cannot, as they may do today, claim ignorance
Carol the 1st says
I can’t see Western children ever being so gross and undiscriminating as to accept Islam willingly.
Will Richards says
Sadly, our institutions appear to be busy ensuring Western children are kept ignorant of islam’s reality, with the consequence that our children are not challenging or opposing islam. The left, which directs the prevailing culture and tolerance on so many campuses, merrily indoctrinates children too lazy to research, so that any attack on, or confrontation about islam is met with cries of “islamophobia!” or “racist!” I believe the cause of such closed-minded ignorance is twofold: Parents at home remaining largely ignorant of islam and the very real threat it poses in the West, and lefty liberal teachers, tutors, etc creating environments on university campuses in which praise, support, or defence of islam is welcomed and safe to do, whereas honest criticism or mockery is not. Such cowardice and deceit is not unique, since our spineless and wilfully ignorant politicians do it, as they speak of islam as “a religion of peace”, and our gutless media is so cowed that it will not publish simple cartoon pictures of the alleged ‘prophet’, even as a show of support and solidarity for their fellow journalists, murdered by muslims in Paris and Holland.
Frank Anderson says
W.R. I suggest that education can be done at home either in substitution or in addition to the education in schools. Several of my greatest teachers were my official adopted father, his best friend and brother in law and his best local friend. The first step to teaching anything to children is for the adults to have something to teach. How many adults know enough about the truth of islam to know its horrors and reason to need to teach them to their children?
Will Richards says
There’s the rub…with the msm colluding with social media platforms and the government/police in protecting islam’s image, and actively prosecuting and persecuting those who expose it, how does one reach parents, and make them understand the need to be aware, and make their children aware, of the greatest threat posed to the West today?
Frank Anderson says
W.R., some people find me something that I don’t think I am. I have a very long lifetime of very diverse education, reading and experience. I have learned at every opportunity, and am not going to stop learning as long as I live. This is one of the examples I received from one of the most important teachers of my life, who was my adopted father’s best friend and brother-in-law, who stepped in when my father got sick and after he died for more than 20 years. This personal sharing of experience and information beats ALL external sources in influence and value. If you know it share.it. Always look to learn more and share that too. Inspire a thirst to learn, to question, to doubt.
When I was 15 and a junior in military high school, the school principal, who was my “guardian angel” after my father’s death ordered me to take an elective course that was called Intellectual History, but was actually a course in comparative religion taught by an outstanding teacher with a Masters Degree in Philosophy, no doubt headed for a Ph.D. That course started me asking questions starting with “Is there a god?”
Almost everyone in my family went ballistic because they were not prepared to handle such a bold question. But not my uncle. He said for 7 patient years of really blunt and harsh questions, “Frank, these are the most important questions you will ever ask. When you find your answers they will be the right ones.” Finally after more or less 7 years I believe God said “Enough” and let me see enough to believe that He is present and cares.
So, without technology, in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s an old man with an 8th grade turn of the century education taught me. If he can teach me I suggest you can teach yours in spite of all the external competition. You won’t do anything if you don’t try. If you try you will learn along with your children. I think this is a clear illustration of the directive, “it is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.” You may inspire others by your example, but not if you don’t try.
Will Richards says
Thanks for sharing that Frank, and for advice that is both well intentioned, and well received. God bless
Frank Anderson says
W.R., I have been legally dead for about 2 hours during surgery. I hope there was a reason I was allowed to wake. I believe after that experience that we are blessed with every breath.
Will Richards says
Well I’m glad you’re still with us Frank!
Frank Anderson says
W.R., I am too! Thank you. The God of All Good Things, The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus, is Great and wishes Great Things, including Life for His Children.
Frank Anderson says
W.R., an additional thought. My uncle, “Grump” died almost 40 years ago and he is still teaching us. How about that?
gravenimage says
Grimly, Islam is indeed being whitewashed in the schools.
Gjallarhornet says
The fact is, we are at war with islam and has been so since the day islam was born. The day we all realize this, our world will change. Because then we will realize that islam must be defeated – for good! This will impose heavy demands upon us, but by judging by popular mood, people seem ready to take on the burden: Everyone you meet (9 out 10) seem to want to talk about the islamic threat, and the tenth is a fervent supporter of multiculturalism. But no one you meet is indifferent. Sounds like a huge potential for waging and winning a war, doesn’t it?
As for the the form of the war we will have to undertake, there is no fixed answer. ‘War’ does not have to mean conventional warfare – what must be done is to dismantle islam. All over the planet. Either by making it go away by force or persuasion, or bend it to some shape where it is changed beyond recognition from what islam is today. IE – an ‘islam’ open to private interpretations, or an islam with mohammed made insignificant. You get the picture: something of the sort. Of course this is not islam today. To make islam into such things would require …. well, a war. And such a war IS required. Our very survival depends on it. The islamic threat will NEVER go away until we remove it. Permanently.
Gjallarhornet says
I will keep repeating at home for as long as I can. Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam.
Carol the 1st says
Islam will by its nature insist upon ruling by ‘religious’ irrationality. The CAMEL’S NOSE will remain under the tent to drag things out. Please spare the world and abolish shameful coercive Islam and its nonsense.
FYI says
Presumably Mr Spencer is aware of this.
There is an organisation that has been set-up in the UK just recently this month:I am wondering what the likes of Teresa May will say…. or how reliable it will be.
It’s called..
Combating Jihadist Terrorism …CoJiT-UK
Frank Anderson says
FYI, only a little irony and sarcasm would be involved to observe that at present the entire UK government seems to already be the Organization in Support of Jihad Terrorism. How much more can they do? Flood the country with violent parasites and rapists, pay them to kill, pretend there is no common motivation and punish any who question?
FYI says
True.
If proof were required it is that Mr Spencer,a first-class expert on the subject of combating jihadist terrorism, was disgracefully banned by Teresa May from even visiting the UK.
How’s that for evidence of the Uk Govt facilitating jihadism and sowing the seeds of their own destruction!
If anything, the UK authorities should have listened very carefully and taken on board those warnings about islamic supremacist ideology:but it’s too late now for the likes of Teresa May.
So it will be most interesting to see what happens to this new CoJiT-Uk group:will they, most likely ,be accused of being “islamophobic”?
Frank Anderson says
FYI if past government actions continue there is no doubt in my mind that opposing the official line will no more be tolerated than any poor misguided fool opposing Hitler’s hatred and violence against anyone who dared oppose him to any extent. Totalitarians cannot allow opposition or discussion because they know they have no case to win.

Even before Beck’s idiotic cheetoh dust stunt, we quit listening to his show. What was once a pretty good three hours declined rapidly into what sounded like an adolescent sleepover party. But thanks Glenn, we wouldn’t have ever remembered how dangerous the religion of peace is had it not been for this interview. Actually the thanks solely belongs to Robert Spencer.
gravenimage says
Providing Spencer a platform is actually a good thing.

I thought this interview with Glenn Beck was one of the best I have heard. Glenn asked good questions that allowed Robert to shine and do what he does best, which is to show off his encyclopedic knowledge of all things pertaining to Islam. I will listen to this again to continue learning.

Robert,
You have a very nice voice tone, easy to understand language, way of speaking.
Talk with Glenn more about how to put a person, people, human story to your history.
He’s the best, put to a person, human, how we deal with life as people, making history, stories understandable.
I get you though.

Frank Anderson says
Several people have written about their doubts, criticisms, dislike, problems and reservations about Glenn Beck. I understand they have reasons for their opinions. My particular wish for difference is his dislike in the past for Donald Trump. I strongly believe in the teaching that there are no perfect humans. Every human makes errors, some of them really big and catastrophic. I have a number of times and have paid dearly for mine. If we demand perfection from our guides we will be waiting and helpless for a long time.
I also believe that wisdom is all around us. Wherever wisdom is in human hands there is also error and deception to some extent, in some places more than others. I have learned from Beck. But for him I would still be walking around in the “Religion of Peace” cloud and never know of our host, Robert Spencer, or his book Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and the Crusades, Beck has published a book titled It Is About Islam. I have read it in addition to about 20 other books on the subject of islam by a variety of authors.
Where Beck may see issues differently from our host, and our host is certainly to me an extremely knowledgeable and reliable source, there is room for Beck to be in error without being a deceiver. The difference I argue between lying and speaking in error is the intention to deceive. If there is one single favorable comment I can make about Beck, as long as I have been following him going back to his first appearance on Fox, he can learn, I am convinced whatever his errors and judgments he is an honest man without being perfect.
gravenimage says
I agree about Beck, Frank.
