Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Italy: Catholic Church opposes Matteo Salvini’s immigration controls

Sep 29, 2018 7:55 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

A number of Catholic prelates have publicly criticized new efforts by Italian interior minister Matteo Salvini to curb illegal immigration, accusing the minister of adopting a “fire and brimstone” approach to migrants.

These Catholic prelates have abandoned their call to justice and truth, which includes the recognition that today’s opposition to illegal (open door) immigration  is due to the incompatibility of a culture rooted in sharia doctrine with free societies. The lack of integration by Islamic supremacists and the threats of jihad that are being imported into Western nations pose a serious threat to democracy and homeland security.

According to Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti of Perugia:

As pastors we are interested in solidarity between people and integration.

Those who ascribe to the sharia do not want to integrate, but instead believe that democratic countries must be subverted under the sharia.

Unfortunately, Bassetti is under the leadership of a Pope who likens Muslim migrants “driven from their land” to Joseph and Mary, never mind the stark evidence of Christian persecution occurring in Islamic states.

“Italian Catholic Church Voices Opposition to Salvini’s Immigration Controls,” by Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart, September 28, 2018:

A number of Catholic prelates have publicly criticized new efforts by Italian interior minister Matteo Salvini to curb illegal immigration, accusing the minister of adopting a “fire and brimstone” approach to migrants.

Earlier this week Mr. Salvini introduced legislation aimed at tightening requirements for asylum seekers and facilitating the deportation of undocumented immigrants.

The new system effectively incarnates the three-point immigration plan promised by Salvini last June, which included increasing the number of repatriation centers so that irregular immigrants will not “wander the streets causing confusion,” reducing the number of new arrivals, and streamlining deportations.

Criticisms of Salvini’s program from the Catholic hierarchy were not long in coming.

While acknowledging that he had “no easy solutions” to the immigration situation, the president of the Italian bishops’ conference (CEI), Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti of Perugia, said this week that the bishops felt called to witness to the world of politics so that it “does not yield to the temptation to exploit the fears or the objective difficulties of some groups and to use illusory promises for short-sighted electoral interests.”

Bassetti also noted the distinct roles of the Church and politics.

“No one can expect the church to say what the sociologist or politician says,” he said. “As pastors we are interested in solidarity between people and integration.”

The cardinal admitted that he had not yet read Salvini’s proposed legislation in depth, but noted he was concerned about new limitations on the Italian residence permit because they “threatens to expose so many people to an uncertain future.”

The president of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Holy See (APSA), Bishop Nunzio Galantino, also spoke out against Salvini and the proposed legislation, while confessing that, like Bassetti, he had not really read through the new program.

“The Italian situation is not so bad as to warrant a fire and brimstone approach,” he said, while calling instead for “realism to stop twisted attitudes that don’t allow us to perceive a sense of reality.”

Opposition to Mr. Salvini — a Catholic himself — from the Church establishment is nothing new, and in his short span as interior minister he has been called everything from Satan to the antichrist because of his commitment to reining in illegal immigration…

Those Catholic Prelates should worry about cleaning up their own dirty laundry
before daring to criticize the duly elected Matteo Salvini.
Also asking themself how many Catholic Prelates are still residing in the countries
where those illegal economic migrants are originating from?
The bloody nèrve of those ” prelates “.
The Pope in his Vatican is hiding behind a 12 mtr high WALL.
Those people dare to vent their opinions?
    Get a life, hypocrites!

All RCs can do if they have a brain is to direct their offerings to another COUNTER-JIHAD recipient.

Taking the money away from rotten clergy is the way to get BETTER clergy.

Pope Frank is dopey and appears unable to learn about t jihad.

Let’s call it “mass” boycott – by all Catholic parishioners.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if the money dried up.

The Catholic church is like the Lutheran Church of Sweden. They creep for islam, and now they have an antichrist as pope.
The jesuit newspaper proclaimed yesterday that they think that Mr Kavanaugh should not be nominated as a Supreme Court Judge, though Mr Kavanaugh is a devout catholic
But they don´t take about their dirty sexual abuse of young boys.
The Catholics are not the real Christians

Those walls were built to defend against Muslims. The Catholics lost 6 of 7 seas to Islam, and those walls were a major factor that stop Islam from getting all 7.

Now these “Catholic” officials are pushing Islam down the throats of the real Catholics.

The senior clergy of the Catholic Church Hierarchy in many countries have emptied their churches, scattered their Flock, obstructed justice, and scandalized the faithful under the appaling pope francis, the pro-NWO,pro-islam, heretic and protector of pedos.

Of course the church in Italy opposes an Italian patriot like Salvini:rather than admit responsibility for causing a massive loss of faith and emptying the churches they prefer to focus on more worldly issues like migration and the environment.Anything to make them look good.

Meanwhile, the enormous wealth of the Vatican won’t be distributed to the needy by the Whited Sepulches in Rome, will it?And yet how papa francis boasts about his great love for the poor!

    No one should take anything seriously that comes from these “holy” men in the vatican:they are too busy causing scandal and undermining the Christianity they claim to follow{Note how often papa francis attacks Christians,denies the Gospel and….defends islam!No true pope would do that}

Virtue signalling comes before common sense it seems. That applies to most of our so called ‘leaders’across the West.Fortunately the people are waking up despite the blanket media black out of all news re.immigrant behaviour.

The big thing that ticks me off about all these pro-immigrant, pro islam advocates is that they act like muslims are the only people with feelings, struggles, and pains. Why of course we non-muslims should be happy to give billions of dollars to help folks who despise our culture and never paid a penny in tax, of course we shouldn’t want immigration control when they’re mass raping and terrorizing our communities with bombs, guns, and knives, and how selfish of us to be concerned about their religion that makes our enslavement or death a sacred duty for them. I don’t understand why these bleeding hearts for islam find sensible immigration control such a bad thing when it comes to our culture, our feelings, and our national security. They act like muslims’ desire to immigrate for welfare is more important than our right to maintain a peaceful and secure existence. Of course we should be compassionate for people truly in need, every great nation should be. But we can’t save the world, there has to be limits to every charitable deed. I’m sure the Vatican has done many good acts for the needy, but I’m quite sure they’ll always stop short of giving everything they own, their billions and museums for example, to muslim migrants. But when it comes to championing muslim needs at OUR expense, then wow! they sure can charitable to the bitter end, can’t they?

The Catholic church is dying for reasons I need not state. They are no longer an important moral voice in the world. They are as bigoted and biased as the worst of humanity, demanding that we in the West sacrifice everything for those from the East. My response to them is, clean up your own house first then worry about ours.

Anyone heard any good priest jokes lately? I’m sure you have.

(Sorry JW you’ve had to clear my posts, I think it’s been my cookies. Hopefully I’ve fixed that for future posts.)

My being a Catholic in my opinion this being the worst Pope in my life time. In the middle of the church scandal of priest molesting children being protected by the leaders of this church from the state of New Jersey to South America and beyond ,the current Pope refuses publicly to address it. I think this Pope is more concern with the public money the church get for resettle these “refugees” then the safety of the Roman Catholic people living in the countries being invaded by this army of Islamic refugees! The good people in Italy Catholic and non-Catholic deserve to live in some kind a safety from an invading army that its duty is to force Sharia law on them according to their religion Islam it is
    1-convert them to Islam ,or
2- or have them pay a tax that brings them to a poverty level and live under laws making them non -Moslems third class citizens
    3- or be killed .
That is why the people of Italy elected Matteo Salvini the Pope should try to clean up address the scandals in the church before he speak out against , persevere scandals in democratically elected government that is trying to protect all its people in the host country the Vatican resides in. The Vatican is one of the world,s smallest countries that would be engulfed and destroy if Italy became a true Islamic Sharia law run country.

These are the precepts of the Catholic Church.

    1. You shall attend Mass on Sundays and on holy days of obligation and rest from servile labor.
    2. You shall confess your sins at least once a year.
    3. You shall receive the sacrament of the Eucharist at least during the Easter season.
    4. You shall observe the days of fasting and abstinence established by the Church.
    5. You shall help to provide for the needs of the Church (according to your own ability).

Unless opposing the right of my country to establish its own laws is a sin, I don’t agree that the Catholic Church as an institution opposes Salvini’s immigration controls. Some members of the clergy may make known their own personal political views on the matter but I don’t see that I am required as a Catholic to hold those same political views to keep me from falling into a state of sin.

In fact, if precept #1 is to refrain from servile labor on Sundays and holy days, the clergy should be more vocal about laws that have Catholics working on Sunday than about immigration laws since I see nothing in the precepts concerning immigration.

    • CogitoErgoSum says

      Sep 29, 2018 at 1:27 pm

  8. No Muzzies Here says

    Sep 29, 2018 at 3:15 pm

Since the Catholic Church has failed to reconcile its official teachings with the huge number of homosexual priests, bishops and cardinals, perhaps this is the best way after all. The new arrivals actually believe in their religion, and will, as they gain power, resolve the Catholic Church’s cognitive dissonance problem.

    • CogitoErgoSum says

      Sep 29, 2018 at 3:47 pm

The cognitive dissonance seems to be mainly at the higher ranks of the Catholic Church. The ones without the cognitive dissonance have either left the Church or know that the Pope is not being totally honest with them. I’d dare to say that this Pope is helping create the most division within the Catholic Church since the time of Martin Luther.

One in ten catholic clerics is a pedophile. (This stat comes out of the Boston Globe investigative report.) So there’s a 10% chance this guy likes to fondle little kids. If he doesn’t then he is more than likely to have not reported a pedophile. What’s he doing pontificating and preaching to others?

    • Ecosse1314 says

      • Flavius Claudius Iulianus says

Researcher Richard Sipe showed that 6% of clerics were pedophiles. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Sipe) He assisted the Boston Globe investigative team in their research on the local pedophile scandal. They set up a phone line for people call in their cases. Reports flowed in.
They found that Sipe’s 6% was conservative and that their numbers showed it to be at 10% or higher.

So your doubts are unjustified. The facts speak for themselves.

Furthermore, Sipe found that regarding catholic clerics, “more than half were involved in sexual relationships.”
