Note carefully what he claims not to have understood: “Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan, who came to the U.S. in 2009, alleges that U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes did not clearly advise him that he faced a possible life term for violating federal probation if he entered a guilty plea….He would not have entered a plea of guilty if he understood that a violation of supervised release could result in a lifetime in prison.”
So he is asking for a new trial based on a claim not to have understood what would happen if he violated probation. Clearly, then, he intends to violate probation, and should get neither a new trial or probation. But this ridiculous story illustrates the fact that claims of victimhood never end, even after conviction.
“Would-be ISIS supporter in Houston says he didn’t understand terms of guilty plea, wants new trial,” by Gabrielle Banks, Houston Chronicle, September 12, 2018 (thanks to Creeping Sharia):
A Palestinian refugee in Houston convicted of attempting to back Islamic State terrorists overseas is seeking a new federal trial, claiming he didn’t understand the consequences of violating the terms of supervised release when he pleaded guilty.
Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan, who came to the U.S. in 2009, alleges that U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes did not clearly advise him that he faced a possible life term for violating federal probation if he entered a guilty plea, according to court document filed Tuesday. Al Hardan, who had an Arabic interpreter for the proceeding, also says his court-appointed lawyer failed to ensure that the judge advised him of this possibility.
However, David Adler, Al Hardan’s court-appointed trial lawyer, noted in an email that the judge appears to have warned Al Hardan about this scenario, and pointed to a verbatim excerpt of the hearing quoted in Al Hardan’s appellate brief.
In the document filed Tuesday with the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Hughes is quoted as saying at Al Hardan’s 2016 plea hearing, “Now, the maximum penalty — I’m not saying this is what I’m going to give you — that the statute would allow on your plea of guilty is for you to be imprisoned for 20 years, fined $250,000 and supervised release with up to your — up to life and there is a $100 tax. Do you have any question about the punishment?”
After a back and forth with the judge, the defendant said he understood….
Hughes sentenced the 25-year-old father in December 2017 to 16 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release. Al Hardan pleaded guilty on Oct. 17, 2016, to attempting to provide support to ISIS, admitting that he associated with jihadists, swore an oath to Islamic State terrorists, lied on a passport application about his affiliation with terrorists and stockpiled materials to make remote detonators at his West Houston apartment. He also accepted as fact the government’s accusation that he discussed decapitating Americans in support of the jihadist struggle….
Yolanda Jarmon, who was appointed to represent Al Hardan’s in the appeal, declined to comment. But she argued in a court filing that her client thought he faced at most 20 years in prison. He would not have entered a plea of guilty if he understood that a violation of supervised release could result in a lifetime in prison, as opposed to the statutory maximum of 20 years the judge mentioned during his plea hearing, according to court documents.

Why is he even here in the US?
1. Lied on passport application
2. Swore allegiance to a foreign power that had declared war on the US
3. Multiple federal violations related to explosives
4. Freely admitted to plans to murder US citizens.
What he needs to have done as a minimum:
1.Needs to be sent to Gitmo for prison sentence.
2. After prison, return him to hell hole he left with the intent to wage war against US citizens as an out of uniform combatant
3. Since anyone in his family linked to his presence here in the US gained residence and/or citizenship on false pretenses, remove them back to original hell hole. They can file appeals from there.
4. Any status as a citizen or permanent resident need to be revoked as they were obtained by lying and false statements regarding his reason to be here.

The teaching of the philosophical delusion of Darwinism as “fact” is pretty much it. The West’s rejection of God’s truth and His sacrifice on the cross at Calvary is plain to see in the punishment it now receives from Him, just as the rebellious Israelites, over and over and over again:
“I will make justice the measuring line
And righteousness the level;
Then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies
And the waters will overflow the secret place.
Your covenant with death will be canceled,
And your pact with Sheol will not stand;
When the overwhelming scourge passes through,
Then you become its trampling place.
As often as it passes through, it will seize you;
For morning after morning it will pass through, anytime during the day or night,
And it will be sheer terror to understand what it means.” – Isaiah 28:17-19
“You only have I chosen among all the families of the earth; Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.” – Amos 3:2

The idea that Muslims are waging violent Jihad against us because is Darwinism is mistaken.
Walter Sieruk says
First, this Muslim migrant who attempted to aid and support the deadly and dangerous jihad entity , ISIS could serve as an example that not all the the Muslim who come enter into America , through immigration, are non-violent people who only want to life out their own lives in this country peacefully. There is no logical or sensible reason to be so totally naive as to think and fell that all the Muslim migrant in this nation are peace-minded and not jihad -minded people.
Second, that the jihadists who compose ISIS have a strong and malice-filled “obsession” with the United States and when it comes to their Islamic scheming against America and Americans for future Islamic terror attack and they with their Quran based ideology “are not going to stop” shows the malicious demon-like zeal they have. So we need to ,not live in fear ,but still report to the police anything the seems not to look quite right. As in “What’s wrong with this picture?’ As it has been said “If you see something, say something.” The wise words of Thomas Jefferson may apply to this subject. For Mr. Jefferson declared “Let the eye of vigilance never be closed.”
Third, concerning ISIS there remains the ,very important, question “How to truly defeat ISIS once and for all ?” The answer to that question was provided in a speech by the ISIS spokesman, Abu Muhammad al Adnani, now dead, in this speech he had declared “True defeat is a loss of willpower and desire to fight…” he further explained “We would be defeated and you victorious only if you are able to remove the Quran from Muslim hearts.” All this leads to a very important question: “Is the Quran the Word of God or is it a fabrication of a man. Thus, is the Quran the truth or a fiction and a hoax ?” The jihadists, as those of ISIS use many verses from the Quran as the main source of justification for their violence, mayhem and murders. As found in For example, 2:191.. 4:47 5:33. 9:5,111,123. 47:4 The answer is clearly given on pages 145 through 157 in THE ISLAMIC INVASION by Robert Morey in which he wrote a section on the Quran with its self-contradictions. Just two of the many he cited are the following “The Quran differs on whether a day is a thousand years or fifty thousand years in God’s sight’ and “Who was first to believe? Abraham or Moses [Sura 6:14 versus 7:143]? The above is inconsistent and illogical. Further, Morey wrote about “The fact that Judaism and Christianity broke up into different sects was used in the Quran to prove that they are not of God [Suras 30:20-32. 42:13, 14]. Yet Islam has broken up into many warring sects and therefore cannot be true if the Quran is right.” Moreover, Morey in his book shows many more contradictions and absurdities in the Quran, there are and how Muhammad incorporated extra Biblical and Jewish folklore along with pre-Islamic Arabian myth and parts of Zoroastrian and Hindu stories into the Quran. Furthermore, the Muslims claim that “the Quran is the direct, literal word of God unmodified in any way by the Prophet who uttered them at the bidding of God.” Nevertheless, in the book UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet and Eethi Caner has shown that the Quran was modified in the following account on pages 45. “Muhammad felt the need to improve on the words of Allah, since he changed Allah’s wisdom for his own on several occasions. A hadith tells of the nonchalant emendations of Muhammad:’ On a number of occasions he [a scribe] had, with the Prophet’s consent changed the closing words of verses. For example, when the prophet had said ‘God is mighty and wise ‘ Adbollah b. Abi Sarh suggested writing down ‘Knowing and wise’ and the Prophet answered that there was no objection. Having observed a succession of changes of this type, Adbollah renounced Islam on the grounds that revelations, if from God could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as himself. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites.’ Other writers reveal that later Muhammad and his people did go war with the Qorayshites and he personally killed Abdollah. Obviously Abdollah knew too much and Muhammad wanted Abdollah’s knowledge to die with him.” In conclusion, the Quran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax.

I hope he dies in prison. We as Americans have no earthly use for him. And I like the idea of all his relatives going back to Pakistan or whereever. That just sounds “just”.

I read what the judge said as the terrorist would get up to 20 years in prison followed by having to talk to a probation officer for the rest of his life. What happens if he broke parole was not defined.
In some jurisdictions getting a speeding ticket would count as breach of parole.

Texas: Muslim migrant convicted of trying to aid ISIS wants new trial, says didn’t understand terms of guilty plea
…………….
Clearly he plans on violating his probation–and will probably be plotting to murder Americans.
J.W.K. says
No, it’s probably due to his finding out that in Prison it won’t be 72 virgins and cute little boys aka Muhammad’s pearls for him! He’s shaking in his sandals since he’d be passed all around and ridden so hard that he won’t be able to sit!
Not much fun wven you’re on the receiving end, eh camel boy?!!
Isa Ibn Maryam says
This is a very, very telling article.
This categorically highlight one of the fundamental characteristics of followers of the faith of Islam: perpetual victimhoodness (to coin the term).
It doesn’t matter what the practical matter is: the Muslim adopts a sense of ‘victimhood’ and bases his/her general demeanor on this pathological premise which shapes his/her behavior.
This is why Islam is categorically a mental illness: it literally generates this mentality inside of the mind of the ‘believing’ Muslim such that they respond in very, very potent ways.
In this case we find the employment of the general global jihad tactic of legal jihad (to exploit/undermine Western law and judicial systems) revealing itself given this Muslim’s attestation that had he known the penalty for violating probation (life in prison), he would have not pleaded guilty.
So pleading guilty, for this individual, has less to do with acknowledging ones own mistake, and more to do with protecting his ability to carry out further aggression in the future.
And all of this is based on the false premise of Islam: that the Qur’an is the perfect word of god and Muhammad is the final messenger of god.
If there is one wishing to understand the general pathological psychosis the historical Muhammad had, it only need be understood that Muhammad’s very way of existence (conduct in/of himself in his life) is literally the backbone of Islam; the fruits of which can be seen in Islam as a whole – hostile, aggressive, oppressive, divisive, deceptive, supremacist, fascist, totalitarian, central-figure power / dictator (Muhammad) and an entire civilization of people mimicking this Muhammad (like an idol) for a living.
This truly renders Islam mere idol worship and Allah nothing more than an perverted amalgamation of the qualities Muhammad carried within himself – having the audacity to call it ‘peace’. It is everything but.

This should be a lesson to each any every judge NEVER, NEVER GIVE PROBATION FOR TREASON (giving aid to and enemy of the state is treason. The penalty for treason is death).

You need a death sentence to deal with deadly, conniving enemies of the USA. These people are set in their ways before they’re five years old. We need to get real about these people.
