Canada plans to “lead the charge” on the UN’s global refugee plan

Oct 5, 2018 7:48 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

There are few moments in history where the world comes together to devise a new plan that holds the promise of improving the lives of millions of people. The Global Compact on Refugees…will be formally adopted by the UN General Assembly in the next couple of months—has the potential to be one of these moments.

As beautiful and benevolent as this sounds, it does and will not translate into a pretty picture.

The Center for Immigration Studies points out that “the Trump administration’s continued commitment to the UN agreement is puzzling,” because the administration announced a 2019 “refugee ceiling of 30,000, down from 45,000 for 2018 (both ceilings count as the lowest ceiling determinations since the creation of the refugee resettlement program following the Refugee Act of 1980).”  But there is nothing puzzling about this. The ceiling reflects a responsible commitment, as it allows for better screening of who is coming into the United States.

The Trump administration has evidently remained respectful of the past agreements of the United Nations Convention on the Status of Refugees, and “the 1967 Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees.” What Trump has opposed, however, is joining the bandwagon of reckless globalist leaders who are willing to subject their populations to increasing crime and the breakdown of the rule of law, as seen today in many areas across Europe, along with the expansion of Salafist influence.

The full aim of the Global Compact on Refugees is to get:

“more resettlement places and find more ways refugees can move to third countries – such as through family reunification, student scholarships, or humanitarian visas, so that refugees can travel safely (what we call ‘complementary pathways’).”

It has long been established that Europe has lost track of hundreds of thousands of its refugees, and that many so-called refugees are not refugees. They are economic migrants who have deliberately chosen to settle in the wealthiest countries in Europe. The United Nations admitted this last year, making “shocking claims that the majority of migrants” — 7 out of 10 — “are not refugees at all,” but “economic migrants.” Islamic State jihadists have also long infiltrated the migrant stream.

As stated by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: “Millions of people around the world are fleeing their homes because of conflict and persecution. The international community must come together to address their immediate needs and to help rebuild their lives.”

The EU has already declared its intention to end “national sovereignty” and “kill off populist politics.” Trudeau is in line with that vision. The news that Canada will be leading the charge on the UN’s global refugee plan is sobering. Trudeau has rolled out the red carpet to anyone and everyone wanting to come into the Canada, including Islamic State jihadists, whom he thinks can be a “powerful voice.” Vast and untold numbers of migrants have also crossed into Canada from the United States over the Quebec border in response to Trudeau’s welcome. Canadians have no idea how many have crossed over, but taxpayers are expected to foot the bill. The Toronto Sun has just reported:

There are also 1,719 irregular (illegal) migrants/refugees/asylum seekers in Toronto hotels, including  577 housed at the Radisson Toronto East hotel in 146 rooms (the hotel has 240 rooms in total). The reputable Tripadvisor website has been inundated in the past few weeks with scathing reviews of the hotel, calling it a “zoo, filthy, noisy and dangerous” with the lobby full of loitering refugees and halls containing graffiti and garbage.

Ahmed Hussen, who is Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship and contributed to the article below, advances the globalist utopia of the Trudeau government. Hussen called Member of Provincial Parliament Lisa Macleod “‘un-Canadian’ in attempts to ‘bully’ her into accepting the federal government’s line on immigration.” However, Hussen admitted in the last week of August that Canada’s asylum system is in a state of crisis and is unsustainable. Yet a month before that, he stated that the system was working. Ahmed Hussen’s assignment to market — both at home and abroad — his ideas about “Canada leading the charge on the UN global refugee plan,” under the pretense of being “caring,” is deeply mendacious.

“Why Canada will lead the charge on the UN’s global refugee plan,” by Ahmed Hussen, Marie-Claude Bibeau, and Jean-Nicolas Beuze, Macleans, September 24, 2018:

Ahmed Hussen is Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship. Marie-Claude Bibeau is Canada’s Minister of International Development. Jean-Nicolas Beuze is the representative in Canada of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

There are few moments in history where the world comes together to devise a new plan that holds the promise of improving the lives of millions of people. The Global Compact on Refugees—which has now been released after two years of consultations with member states, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, and refugees themselves, and will be formally adopted by the UN General Assembly in the next couple of months—has the potential to be one of these moments.

The Compact isn’t just a bunch of words on paper. It represents the common understanding and political commitment to protect and find solutions for refugees differently. This is why it lists new strategies and specific goals. Through regular follow-up meetings on the Compact, member states and partners will thus hold each other more accountable on their promises to deliver results for refugees and their hosts.

The starting premise of the Compact is that caring for those forced to flee their home is a shared responsibility that must be borne more equitably and predictably. As stated by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: “Millions of people around the world are fleeing their homes because of conflict and persecution. The international community must come together to address their immediate needs and to help rebuild their lives.” The Compact and its renewed commitment toward refugees and the countries and communities that host them is a moment of truth, as it calls upon all players—development actors, the private sector, non-governmental and faith-based organizations, and states—to contribute and to share responsibilities in a fairer manner.

Canada was actively involved in the drafting of the Compact. With input from domestic NGOs, Canada was one of the first countries to offer concrete suggestions in the early days of the consultations around issues that the Compact should highlight and address, from the benefits of refugees’ economic inclusion, to the imperative of increasing political and financial support for frontline hosting countries, to ways to increase pathways to durable solutions in third countries, and to the specific vulnerabilities faced by refugee women and girls. And as the chair of UNHCR’s executive committee in 2017, Canada took an active role in convening partners on several issues in particular related to gender and education.

So Canada is committed to the task of leading and encouraging other partners to realize its ambitious goals, to ensure that action breathes life into the words of the Compact.

The Compact’s goals are, after all, ambitious. The first is clear: to ease the pressure on countries that welcome and host large numbers of refugees, currently mainly in the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa. Frontline countries like Turkey, Lebanon, Uganda or Bangladesh have argued that the impact of hosting hundreds of thousands or even millions of refugees is significant, especially as it’s often after a sudden influx. They are right: distributing safe drinkable water, putting kids in schools or providing maternal health care to pregnant women are logistical and costly endeavours. These countries are unfairly being asked to carry the burden simply as a result of their geography as they nobly keep their borders open to those fleeing for their lives from neighbouring states…..

And time to chuck out a Canadian government that couldn’t care less for the security of its people who now can expect to be shot or stabbed anywhere they go due to the paid jihadists walking the streets. Trudeau is lying to the people about how many fake refugees are coming in and where they are being housed and also about the cost to the country. The country now has ‘charity fatigue’. The local needy and homeless get less and less as the refugee budget goes up.

My terminology of few descriptions are different of that what most people use.
        For example:
Refugees, when it pertain to Muslims, I call them invaders.

Terrorists, I call them criminals. Those terrorists would be happy to be called that. Their prophet instructs them to terrorize the infidels. ” “I will instill TERROR into the hearts of the unbelievers, smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them. It is not ye who slew them; it was God.” Surah 8:13-17″‘

Canada should soon straighten out it’s voting registry before there are more voting for the dangerous refugee program than Canadian citizens voting against it. Canada is being run by a certified idiot. The Canadian legal population is far too small to support an invasion of immigrants who don’t speak the language, aren’t educated, hate infidel (white people) and don’t intend to work. How did Canada get so clueless?

I agree 100% sir. However, I believe Trudeau and Butts are following to a “T” a plan laid out by Georges Soros and others of his ilk. I believe also that Trudeau has been coerced into believing that this plan is the road to perpetual re-election of himself and his cronies who will govern Canada by hook or by crook with this supposed “Humanitarian” crisis relief, all to the detriment and total ruin of Canada as we know it. I am surprised that so many Canadians are falling for Trudeau’s virtue signalling and constant claims that “Canadians want this” and “this is for Canadians”. Trudeau never answers questions with a straight face and spins the questions so much so that no one understands what the hell he is saying except that “This is what Canadians want.”. Whatever !

You may need a northern wall in the future. According to government of Canada studies, there is only enough arable land to feed 35 million people. We have now crossed the 36 million person mark. This makes us a net importer of food to fill the gap that is growing year over year. Considering the Treaudope government is doing all it can to block getting our natural resources to market one must wonder where this money for food will come from. Southern migration in our future?

The ‘Compact’ is just one more nail in the coffin of national sovereignty and identity in Western countries. Canadians and Americans should be especially alarmed at Justin Trudeau’s continued treachery. The UN globalist plan for North America is to collapse the US, Canada, and Mexico into one political entity, called (guess what) ‘North America’.

2019 is coming. That’s the next year of a federal election in Canada. I’ve heard it said for Trudeau that it will be “One and Done”, one term and then he’ll be voted out. I very much hope that is the way it works out. He and his party of misfits have done enough damage.

          Oct 5, 2018 at 9:01 am

I was hoping for a stronger Conservative party leader than Andrew Sheer has turned out to be and in fact, Maxim Bernier who has expressed populist views has left the Conservative party and started his own party called the People’s Party of Canada. That will likely split the conservative vote, but if the Conservative party and the People’s Party formed a coalition, that might be acceptable. The most infuriating thing about Trudeau is his tendency to “bait and switch”. He talks a good line about what he’s going to do for Canadians and when he gets power, he switches to do everything he can for the globalist agenda and to heck with Canadians. It is so blatant.

Thankyou for your reply, Renate. Your assessment of the situation concurs with mine. Let’s hope for a coalition victory, if not an outright win for Bernier! But even Scheer would be better than Trudeau. You are right, Trudeau’s No.1 priority was always the globalist agenda.

What I see Trudeau doing is being as attractive as possible to all the international NGOs. He knows his chances for reelection are slim; he’s upping his chances to get on with the UN or some other big name NGO.
The first thing he did as PM after reinstating the long-form census was go to Africa and promise four billion dollars (if my memory serve me correctly) for African nations to “grow green economies.” For anyone who was paying attention, it was clear early on that Trudeau had set to work building his future international career as a jet-setting diplomat/official and that he didn’t really give a damn about the middle class of Canada. His promise to spend Canada out of the economic doldrums and revive the middle class was nothing more than an Obama-like lie.

      • Renate says

        Oct 5, 2018 at 10:12 pm

Justin and Sophie see themselves as “citizens of the world”, not necessarily “Canadians”. It must be awfully humbling to have to start off as the prime minister of Canada when Justin sees his real destiny as the UN or some other globalist organization. Canada and Canadians are just stepping stones on his way to globalist greatness. To get elected, he said he was going to help the middle class. He just didn’t say it was the middle class in just about every other country except Canada that he meant to help.

The only cure for world poverty and stability is to demand population control for third world nations that can NOT feed themselves and require aid. “….keep the population in check. Wars and famines did this in the past….”
      ———————————————————————————————

Disease was a major factor – the success of Western medical knowledge in combating virtually every known virus and disease and sharing this around the globe has entirely predictably been that the world’s population has exploded over the past hundred years.

The only place where the message about controlling population growth has worked, is in the West itself – (where childlessness has become virtually a substitute religion) – which had no need to in the first place.

There are people about who seem offended at the very idea that they might have children – “Oh, no – I have my career to think of!” they say, content with the idea that having a BMW and a company pension plan in their 30s will more than make up for having no one to turn to when they’re 80.

Refugees should to go to countries where they are ethnically, culturally and religiously compatible. They should not be admitted to countries where past experience shows they become a social burden and a security problem.

The West needs to get ready for a huge influx of white / christian refugees from African states that are actively setting the political stage for a mass ethnic cleansing / genocide directed against ethnic Europeans. If we flood ethnic European countries with incompatible refugees that burden the system, where are the millions of white / christians of Africa supposed to flee to? That event is coming, and we need to plan for it.

The Africans will not run the farms efficiently, however the Chi-Coms will most likely do so. So far Russia and Australia said they would take the White farmers to prevent genocide plus they are good, hard workin farmers. I wouldn’t doubt if a million or two Chinese are imported to run and work them and some mining concerns.

But the Western powers, largely owned by the globalists, have adopted the attitude that Russia is still the enemy. Look at Hillary’s latest nonsense, for example. And the ridiculously transparent Novichok fraud. The demons want war. But it isn’t the Russians who are our biggest threat. Economically, and militarily, the Chi-Coms are ahead by several country miles (and many square miles of several countries). Unless some sort of deal has been struck, there is indeed trouble ahead.

Fair points, Mac, and I guess time will tell. Merkel is on her way out the door, and a lot could change very soon in Russo-German relations, especially in respect of gas supplies. President Trump has quite a bit of leverage here, what with the US picking up the tab for NATO etc for so long. You’re right about the Russian oligarchs, who are an obscene bunch of criminals. I expect you are aware that the recently departed John McCain was very chummy with Oleg Deripaska. Birds of a feather-your-nest, eh. ”
The smartest way to get rid of the global refugee pestilence, is in fact to remove the causes of conflicts, wherever they occur.
The international community should come together to address the ways and means to fight the insane theocracies in the world. These countries are the main providers of persecuted refugees.
The Justin Trudeau method at best only alleviates the symptoms at an enormous cost, to be paid by the patient naive taxpayers in the western countries.

The causes of conflict are primarily Islam and the Bank of International Settlements (BIS). These are the drivers of the New World Order. Good luck with convincing these folks that Christianity and Nationalism is a smarter route.

These “conflicts” are being actively promoted with the “open border” policy.

At YT one can find a Video by using “The Rebel”-Site and open under “Female Hotel staff harassed” a report about African Refugees staying in Hotel of Toronto. As far i remember it could be the Toronto East Radisson Hotel, because it (acc. regular Hotel-Guests) “turned into unruly refugee camp” (Africans).
If this “Pact” (the U:S.,Hungary hopefuly Australia and other western EU countries wouldn’t sign this dangerous paper) is going to be realized, many, many Hotels, Churches, Schools, Public Bulidings in the West will be vandalized, misused, destroyed and under heavy pressure coming autochthone citizens will be harassed day by day..
    What a gloomy future!
Thanks to the hypocritical, conniving opponents of our western cultural and civilized existence.

I can’t seem to find, within the ‘compact’, any plans regarding how the native, legal citizens of the ‘host’ countries will be protected from the hordes; nor where the extra jobs that are needed for these helpless souls are going to come from…
And I’m assuming that the smart and caring politicians who dreamed up this catastrophe will be moving out of their mansions and handing THEIR spaces over to the needy barbarians?

    ————————————————————————————————–

They won’t be allowed to – disproportionately few Christians reach Europe/America and many are turned back by post-Christian Western authorities acting with anti-Christian muslim advisers and interpreters.

Western governments are embarrassed by Christianity – would react with a chorus of “We can’t prioritise Christians – that would be islamophobic!” – and will leave them to be massacred like every other group who’ve fallen out of fashion over the years – Armenians / Jews / Zoroastrians / Bushmen / Yazidi / etc etc.

So sad. Canada is a beautiful country. It felt so safe and friendly. All that will be gone. Dont think so? I didn’t think there could be tent cities full of rapists in Paris either.

We have a housing crisis in Toronto, Vancouver and other large major cities, vacancies near zero. Prices to buy at record highs, with no relief in sight, therefore those who want to buy can’t and are forced to rent. Toronto has bought large tents (4 so far) that hold 100 people each at a cost of 2.5 million per. Placing these tents in areas that are questionable to say the least. The cost to care for them once they are in these tents is approx. $100. per day per person. This will only cause other problems and will not even make a dent in the housing needs for these migrants/illegals/refugees or what-ever you wish to call them that just keep coming, and coming, with Trudeau’s blessings.

Canada’s weather year round is not tent friendly, if anything, it is tent hostile.

Why has no one ever asked our great Federal Liberal Government……what is their plan to house and etc. these people? Is it temporary status until they can return to their own country? Surely the topic of available housing (the minimum basic need) must have been mentioned before they opened the borders, and now with their new announcement that the numbers will increase. Last year over 540,000 came to Canada. Trudeau said he wants to vastly increase this number over the next three years. What is that number?

Yes I feel sorry for the countries that have the burden to care for those entering from close by, but perhaps helping these countries is a more prudent solution, for all concerned.

“Canada plans to “lead the charge” on the UN’s global refugee plan”

Difficult for them to do when they’ve been relegated to the opposition benches by the electorate (and quite possibly reduced to near extinction in Oct of 2019).

Every election I’ve seen recently (Italian election, Ontario’s provincial election, Sweden’s national elections, Quebec’s provincial election, etc) shows that electorates worldwide are turning away from Leftist and Globalist doctrine. Trump’s economy is proving that the Left really doesn’t have the correct policies, nor do they really care about the populace, and that commonsense Conservatism and National Populism is the way forward.

Yes! And I hope you are right and Canada wakes up. We are not all equal. Cultural mores, political values, plus religious infuences divide us, be it for the better or worse, that is the way it is.

Regardless what the polls say leaders like Trudeau and his liberal party do not have a future except retirement. Can’t wait until Oct. 2019.

The refugees, or so they were called that ran into Europe starting in 2015, were 75% men, strong, well dressed, backpacks and cowards for not joining forces and fighting for their countries. These are invaders and now most from Africa, the worst of the worst.

Trump said no to the UN Refugee program and recently at the UN his speech once again declared our Sovereignty and making decisions for ourselves. Now I have no idea what kind of payoff the leaders of European countries have with the UN and the EU for betraying their people and their Culture by agreeing to this Replacement plan, but I do know Islam and I do know history shows once the get so large, your country is gone.

Trudeau is going along with this and my guess, since the UN had a plan and the Pope went along with it, telling all refugees to run into America, wanting millions upon millions to come to America, the idea is to let them flood over the Canadian border into America. If that happens , trust me Americans will personally guard that border and the results won’t be pretty.

    Americans have had enough.

      ‘…the UN had a plan…’

Exactly. It’s called the ‘New World Order’, or ‘Global Governance’, and involves destroying national sovereignty and identity, particularly of Western countries, and dividing the world into geographic regions, to be governed/administered by an unelected elite. The EU is the prototype. The next project is ‘North America’, a combination of Canada, the US, and Mexico. Americans are very fortunate to have President Trump in the WH. Under Killary, the US would be hurtling down the gurgler faster than you could say ‘Uranium One’.

The rewards which the EU Elite, for betraying their people and their Culture by agreeing to this Replacement plan, are this:

      1) Germany and France are presently taking over Europe; germany to own Northern Europe, France the sorry remainder of catholic countries. Both countries lost WW2 and are long to take over Europe just by talking.
      2) The normal Europeans needs to have their attention diverted during the takeover by non-military means.
      3) Massive migration of analphabetic, religious fanatic young mobile combat ready men, keeps the European men alert to armed aggressions from male migrants; thus not noticing the busy FrancoGerman
      taking control behind their backs.
      4) European industrialists and banks need cheap labour in unlimited quantities to keep wages down on EastAsian level. Migrants, because of their generally low education, are just perfect to pull wages down to survival minimum.
This is the simple plan of the 3 musketeers, UN, Germany and France. UK, which is not d’Artagnan, does not like the smell and exits.

The Canadian Feds have admitted that there are more economic and political (ie, anti-Trump) migrants entering Canada illegally than refugees. And the record on returning non-refugees from whence they came? Three whole percent! Meanwhile companies in contact with foreigners who may wish to work in Canada by following all legal processes cannot get a useful would-be employee into the country because of the illegal migrant bottleneck. Thanks a lot, Trudeau.

I am watching the collapse of Europe. For the second time, but Britain (already badly affected) and America cannot save it this time. Sweden, Greece, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany and Spain are all at different stages of terminal decline. Whatever they do from now on will not be enough to save their cultures. There is an outside hope that the UK and Denmark can maintain some sort of security but there will always be from now on a level of violence that we cannot escape from so long as we harbour millions of muslims.

The East European states and perhaps the Baltics should survive so long as they maintain border security. One day a book will be written that will explain why seemingly intelligent people wanted to destroy their own cultures. But I will not be alive to read it.

Why is it asserted by globalists that the only part of “the international community” which has “a shared responsibility that must be borne more equitably and predictably” for muslims who destroy their own countries, is in the West?!

Especially since, the so-called “frontline countries like Turkey, Lebanon, Uganda or Bangladesh” (which) “have argued that the impact of hosting hundreds of thousands or even millions of refugees is significant, especially as it’s often after a sudden influx” – are NOT, (except for Turkey itself) in fact, the “frontline” countries proximate to Syria at all, (which are in fact the Jordan, Iraq, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, and could even logically extend to Quatar Kuwait the UAE and Yemen) but are mere gateway countries on their way into Europe.
