Germany’s Christmas market behind all these blockades is just an intermediate stage. The next stage will be the prohibition by Germany’s new Islamic overlords of any public display that is linked to the Christian faith, in accord with Islamic law.

Two years ago, the Islamist Anis Amri raced with a truck into the Christmas market on Breitscheidplatz in Berlin. Twelve people are killed in the attack. Now the Christmas market is opening again – and becoming a high security zone.
Two years after the Islamist terrorist attack, Berlin’s Christmas market at the Gedächtniskirche is being severely sealed off with twelve bollards. Since Monday, workers are building more than a hundred square metal baskets on the long sides of the Breitscheidplatz and screwing them into a long row. The baskets come with plastic bags filled with sand. The long sides and pedestrian accesses were already blocked with extra bollards.
In addition, the Tauentzinstraße in the direction of Charlottenburg and the Budapester Straße direction Schöneberg have each been converted to one-way streets. Only buses, bicycles and delivery traffic may still drive on the usual tracks “against the current”.
According to the Senate, this combination of different barriers is supposed to offer a “unique access protection” in Germany against terrorist attacks on trucks weighing up to 40 tons. The Berliner “Kurier” wrote of a “mulled wine fortress”. The barrier elements and their construction and dismantling cost the country more than 2.5 million euros. The metal bollards and concrete bases are to be reused in the future….
