Because Hindus were not “People of the Book,” the centuries-long jihad against India was more brutal and bloody than jihad warfare in Europe — and most English-speaking readers are not aware of the full, shocking story of jihad activity in India at all.
Forewarned is forearmed. The violent ideology that fueled that jihad has never been reformed or rejected. It still informs the conflict between India and Pakistan, and the persecution of non-Muslims in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Nor is this ideology staying on the Indian Subcontinent, thanks to the West’s short-sighted immigration policies. It is in great part because policymakers do not know or care about the history of the jihad against India (or anywhere else) that they keep making mistakes in their analysis and “solutions” to various global problems.
That’s why I include an extensive treatment of the jihad against India in my new book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, which you can order here now. This is the first and only narrative history of jihad published in the West to include the story of the jihad against India. You’ll meet:
- The Muslim commander in India who was rebuked by his boss for not being harsh enough;
- The Mughal emperor who became tolerant and merciful toward the Hindus only when he grew disenchanted with Islam;
- The Muslim ruler who enslaved so many Hindus that they sold for just pennies each;
- Why numerous Muslim rulers in India made special efforts to destroy thousands of Hindu temples;
- The Muslim emperor who forced Brahmans to wear nosebags filled with fragments of Hindu statues and cow’s flesh;
- The brutal game that Muslim noblemen played in India, involving encircling an area with soldiers and killing or enslaving everyone within the enclosure;
- Why jihadi uprisings against British colonial rule all failed;
- The jihadist aspect of the twentieth-century partition of India;
- Much more.
Don’t let those who are rewriting history in order to manipulate public policy today succeed. Order The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS by clicking here now.

I am currently reading the book. The content is not easy to digest because there is so much violence, but this is the truth that we must know and become familiar. I thank you for writing this book so that we can educate ourselves and help sound the alarm to others who are sold the bill of goods that islam is “peaceful”.

perhaps the Brits did not consider such knowledge useful to pass on, if encountered at all, while building the empire. military records aren’t distilled for purposes of informing the children.
there were certainly Indians importing products fo African villagers, but who cares

The shocking history of the jihad against India — never before told in the West — included in The History of Jihad
…………………..
Thank you for focusing on these terrible atrocities, Mr. Spencer.

And that’s not even touching on Jihad against Christians in Eastern Europe.
Makes you wonder how much is not known in the educated west’ about the rest of the world’s suffering at the hands of Muslims.
I really believe that all this information is left out deliberately because the more educated people are about the world the less likely we will condone foreign policies of the west.
Muslims should never have been supported anywhere in the world because they are only victims of their own violence not ours.

Once upon a time the savage history of jihad in the sub continent and the immense scale of the savagery were known. For example, in book one of the Will Durant Story of Civilization.
In the late 1940s, there was a more or less successful effort by Gandhi to cover up the truth. This was part of Gandhi’s theory that Indian nationalism required suppression of the extent and nature of the genocide of Hindus by Moslems.

Very true. Quote from Will Durant’s book: “The Mohammedan Conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history…” — Will Durant on page 459, Volume 1, of his eight volume Story of Civilization. Strange, Durant’s book is barely mentioned these days.
The apologists are busy revising history to hide the unpalatable facts.

Yes–his is an excellent book.

Finished this work by Spencer. All who prize such great things as liberty, the capacity to evolve, the capacity to apologize for past wrongdoings, the ability to extend a true Golden Rule to all, the refusal to act in control-freak and violence modes, the ability to be tolerant to ideas far different from ideas one holds, the conviction that in this world equality under the law is an imperative, et al., should read this work because it documents in copious detail why Islam has been, and remains, a menace to mankind in all the ways I just mentioned above—and in many other ways too.
Read it. For you own sake. For those you love. For posterity’s sake. For freedom’s sake. Because if Islam is not the most inveterate enemy of sundry wonderful things over the longest period of time, I can’t off hand think what has been. Oh yeah, read it.

If you are unfamiliar with English philosopher and art historian Roger Scruton then it would be well worth your time to read some of his writing or view some of his documentaries. As an aesthete, he single handedly held up the torch of “beauty” when it had gone out of fashion. He is a long time conservative and was driven out academia for being so.

The demarcation line for free speech is located at “the incitement to violence and/or a threat of imminent violence and/or immediate public endangerment.” This guy should know that.
