Islamists reportedly attacked travelers in Pakistan who identified themselves as Christians in the wake of the decision by the Supreme Court to rescind the 2010 death sentence against Asia Bibi for alleged blasphemy, CNN reported on Sunday.
Christians in Pakistan are being taught a lesson, and are being made an example. Rampaging Muslims who are out for Asia Bibi’s life are now escalating their persecution of Christians in Pakistan, since they can’t get to Bibi herself.
Jihad Watch has been meticulously covering the deranged calls for the blood of Bibi after she was acquitted on trumped-up blasphemy charges. Multitudes rioted in the streets of Pakistan, demanding her death. Even the Supreme Court judges who acquitted her were threatened, and then, facing the mad fury over the acquittal, the Pakistani government capitulated to the rioters, banned Asia Bibi from leaving country, and is reviewing her blasphemy acquittal.
This move by the Pakistani government was a reflection of its adherence to Islamic blasphemy laws. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan “vowed to take the matter [of blasphemy] to the United Nations, saying that few in the West understand the pain caused to Muslims by such activities.”
It is beyond pain. It’s Islamic law, rooted in supremacism and entitlement. Muhammad and Islam must not be offended, period. And this rule does not apply only to Muslims, but to anyone. This is the reason why many Islamic groups in the West work overtime to ensure that Westerners are kept in line with Islam’s official closed corpus. The “Islamophobia” subterfuge is now rooted in Western societies. “Islamophobia” is passed off as a form of “racism,” but the “Islamophobia” initiative is really about silencing criticism of Islam. Therefore, rather than risk Muslim ire, or violence and rioting by Muslims, Westerners are shutting their mouths and sticking to criticizing Judaism, Christianity or any other faith if they wish to, but they do not dare criticize Islam. It is superior to every other faith, in the implied view of proponents of “Islamophobia” and “hate speech” laws.
Take, for example, Canada. Pakistani MP Iqra Khalid introduced her anti-Islamophobia motion M-103, which passed in Parliament, and now the Trudeau government, as a followup, is “taking action” and “monitoring citizens for compliance” — as part of a 23 million dollar anti-“discrimination” plan- – under the leadership and direction of groups such as the National Council of Canadian Muslims (formerly CAIR.Can) and the Islamic Charity IRFAN, which was designated a terror-linked group by the previous Conservative government.
“Report: Unable to Reach Asia Bibi, Pakistan’s Islamists Attacking Random Christians,” by Edwin Mora, Breitbart, November 12, 2018:
Islamists reportedly attacked travelers in Pakistan who identified themselves as Christians in the wake of the decision by the Supreme Court to rescind the 2010 death sentence against Asia Bibi for alleged blasphemy, CNN reported on Sunday.
Breitbart News has long reported that Pakistan’s controversial blasphemy law is disproportionally used target religious minorities, particularly Christians.
Human rights groups have determined that Muslims often use the law to settle personal disputes and vendettas.
Peter Jacob, the executive director for the Center for Social Justice in Lahore, told CNN that half of the individuals accused of blasphemy in Pakistan are non-Muslims, adding that his organization registered cases in which anti-Bibi rioters asked travelers to divulge their religion, and if they revealed they were Christian, “They were taken out of their cars and beaten up.”
“The mental and psychological scars” inflicted on the Christian community will endure in the “current climate of fear,” Jacob noted.
CNN recently spoke to members of the Christian minority community in Pakistan impacted by Bibi’s acquittal.
“While speculation is rife about the safety of Bibi and her family, there are larger conversations at stake regarding the protection of Pakistan’s tiny Christian minority,” CNN noted, adding, “The country’s strict blasphemy laws are a topic of great sensitivity in Pakistan; accusations of blasphemy have seen a surge in mob violence and lynchings in pockets of the country.”
Followers of Christ make up less than two percent of Pakistan’s population of 200 million, according to Jacob. Yet they have been in the territory that forms modern Pakistan for centuries, long before it was declared an Islamic country.
“Please don’t name us,” a member of Pakistan’s Christian minority told CNN on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution. “But we are Christians and if Muslims aren’t safe from these conversations then we are nothing to these people, we respect the judgment of the Supreme Court, and that is paramount, I just want this situation to go away and for this tension to be lifted from our shoulders.”
Nearly a week after the October 31 Supreme Court decision to acquit Bibi, Pakistani authorities moved her to an undisclosed location last Thursday, fearing for her safety.
Islamists linked to the anti-blasphemy Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) party that orchestrated riots across the Muslim country soon after the supreme court’s decision have threatened to kill Bibi, her lawyer, and the judges who cleared her.
Last Friday, the Pakistani government reached a deal with TLP to prevent Bibi from leaving the country while the Supreme Court deals with petitions to review its acquittal of the Christian mother of five…..

“Multitudes rioted in the streets”……
Breitbart’s report is accurate to describe these as “orchestrated riots”.
They are not spontaneous: they are instructed in the mosques.
If members do not join in they are beaten up.
Muslims have no choice.
“It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision.”
Koran 33:36, part of Islamic law
These orchestrated riots are shows of force. The imams, being tainted by self-interest, orchestrate them in order to keep and enhance their power.
Such shows of force – Days of Rage – are NOTHING LIKE the spontaneous and uninstructed gatherings of supporters of, for instance, Tommy Robinson.

Why the MM don’t ask muslims in the West what they think about persecuted Christians in muslims countries?
Just imagine if Christians were doing that, the media and their camaras would be around all the Church.
katherine says
Where’s Pope Francis – he should be in Pakistan right now to assuage the riled-up populace while witnessing the righteous anger and assure us that this disturbing News is just Gossip as he calls it.
He can also apologize for the blasphemous mischief done by Bibi – and castigate the islamophobic judges for releasing a Christian trouble-maker destined for the gallows or rather the sword.
Then hold a public prayer together with the Imam to reinforce the teaching that Mohd and Jesus are both of Godsend lineage while conceding that Mo was the latest model so he must have the final say.
Frank Anderson says
Ms. Bibi is just the latest excuse and cover story for all violence against infidels. The violence existed before she was known, went on after she was on death row, and will continue until everyone “Converts, Submits or Dies”. This is “final, perfect, complete, unchangeable” islam as it is and has been for 1400 years. Between 300,000,000 and 1,000,000,000 have been murdered by islam, (every 3 minutes between 1 and 4 people, for 1400 years). So what will be the BS excuse for the next killing if Bibi is dead? They do not need one to continue. Time to get beyond the delusion of reprieve and deal with the real situation we face now. (See, Viktor Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning).
Jean says
Frank Anderson.
So true. “Evil is always looking for an excuse.”
All that can be done is to continue exposing evil as evil.
We must keep asking Ms. Bibi’s question: “Jesus died to save us. What has Muhammad ever done to save mankind?”
The truth is that Muhammad has no redeeming qualities, and was only made victorious through terror. Without the use of force, no one but robbers and murderers would follow him.
He is the prophet of crime, not of God.
Jesus never used violence against anyone, and millions have followed him. Because he had a real message. Muhammad has nothing spiritual to convey.
The koran is an empty book.
Islam starves the spirit to death.
Deep inside, all Muslims know this.
Hence their fury is constant… until they leave islam.
Then they may find peace.
Frank Anderson says
Jean, I think the gift of life is from God, not our parents. All they did was a little part in what makes us live and be who we are. The gift of life is a treasure which we do not own, but merely hold as stewards in trust for God who gives it and owns it. As stewards I think there is a duty to manage and care for property we hold in trust with the highest level of responsibility. Life is not ours to waste or throw away. Sitting idly by while tyrants kill thousands and make progress toward killing and enslaving millions saying prayers and waiting for someone else to save us has proven time and again to be less than successful. The duty to protect us is ours. How many millions prayed their way to death when they could have acted to earn their lives? Start counting with the half of Germany’s Jews who prayed and denied their way into gas chambers and mass graves. “Those who cannot remember the lessons of the past are condemned to repeat them.” Jorge Santayana, The Life of Reason (1905).
Jean says
Frank Anderson.
True again.
(I see no opposition between saying prayers and taking care of one’s material protection too. One must act on all levels to the best of one’s ability.)
Frank Anderson says
Jean, I assure you I say many prayers each day in the process of acting as I can to make things better, “Pray as though everything depends on God; Act as though everything depends on us.” Profound teaching in Reform Judaism. Not sure about the other congregations.
BTW Jean M was one of my many un-numbered mothers by choice, who was Jewish and invited me to learn among a wonderful congregation of Reform Jews. She died at 99 about 3 weeks after my surgery. We, my “significant other” and I, remember her daily for her performance of the Second Mitzvah, matchmaking us. She was a wonderful, inspiring and successful person, and a blessing to all who knew her..
Jean says
Frank A.
Sweet story. Thank you.
The best thing in life is meeting such blessed people as your M.
Frank Anderson says
Jean, if we measure my wealth in money, I have enough for my daily bread. If we measure my wealth in friends who have stood the tests of time and misery, I am one of the richest people I know. For what it is worth I assure you Jean M lived, served at least 5 years as a reason for me to take her to services more frequently than the Rabbi attended (almost every week with extremely few exceptions), and helped me reconcile (atone) with my long dead adopted mother for many problems we had. And that was in addition to getting and keeping Mary and me together, now for 15 years. And those were some of her smaller successes. Any good I do should be credited to God, Who Made it possible, and the angels (people) He put in my life to teach and inspire.
alex smythe says
Frank: that is only what Asia Bibi is *alleged* to have said, and the stories given by her accusers have had inconsistencies, leading to reasonable doubt that those words were actually what she had said.
I recall after the 9/11 attack on the U.S., there were indeed some hate crimes against Muslims, or against people perceived ti be Muslims (such as Sikhs, or Arab Christians for example), including several murders. However, it was a relatively small number, considering the size of the U.S., and taking into account the 3,000 people who died, and hundreds of billions of dollars of damage to the U.S. economy.
Now, with the release of Asia Bibi, who has good reason to be presumed innocent in a blasphemy case, Islamist savages are going around attacking anyone (including non-Pakistanis) who are Christian or perceived to be Christian. A few years ago, I read this online comment from a Taliban supporter (likely Pakistani, given his use of the word “Zinzabad.” The censorship of the garbage-mouthed goon is mine:
“F**k you, f**k your mother and f**k your a**hole…Muslims will conquer the U.S….they will f**k your wives, they will f**k the p***ies and a**holes of Christians…Taliban Zinzabad…many F**king Americans are getting killed all time in Afganistan that media doesn’t report…f**k Christality (sic) and f**k your Christ…Muslims will enter your f**king F**king Church.”
You can’t make this kind of porcine, gutter-mouthed stuff up. So, just because of the vulgar ape above, should Christians blame and attack all Muslims for it? Imagine if a Hindu extremist had written a similar diatribe against Muslims (e.g.,” Hindus will rape and sodomize Muslims…they will enter your accursed mosque, etc.”), there would likely be rabble-rousers in Pakistan who would whip up hatred and pogroms against Pakistani Hindus, and blame all Hindus for it.
Frank Anderson says
A.S. EVERY muslim reads the same koran. They are taught it is the “final, perfect, complete, unchangeable” word of allah himself. I think many of us would benefit by taking a few hours to read the Bill Warner Abridged Koran to see just how absurd claims of moderate v. radical islam are in reality. No other group (which is a criminal conspiracy to commit crimes of violence pretending to be a religion) openly advocates and practices the routine violence of islam. All who identify as muslims aid, abet, counsel and act in furtherance of the violence that only a “few” commit at any given time. But, under US law, all are equally responsible for those criminal acts. That may be different under other law, and certainly irrelevant under islam which recognizes no human-made law; but as potential victims, we should care.

The killing of Sikh Balbir Sodhi after 9/11 was sickening. His killer was tried, sentenced to death, and condemned by almost all Americans.
Nothing similar is going to happen to these Murderous Muslims in Pakistan,

alex smythe.
Asia Bibi has herself made an official statement that this is what she said. There is no doubt on that score.
My quote was from memory, so the wording may be a little different, but she most certainly stated the meaning of that question.
alex smythe says
Jean: she may have made an official statement to that effect, but I really wonder if there might have been some coercion going on. Don’t forget that she spent eight years in prison, and that many of the authorities *may* have been biased against her I recall the old arcade video game “APB” (All Points Bulletin) in which you’re a cop who has to make quotas by arresting various suspects, and later at the station, you have to press “confess” buttons to shake the crap out of them until they cry, “I confess! I confess!” It’s funny in a video or computer game, but I’m wondering if at least a bit of that kind of thing may have occurred to Asia Bibi.
Older Canadian says
It is a no win situation. If Asia is aquitted, and allowed to leave the country, other Pakistani Christians will be at risk by the mobs for her preceived crime.
So what is doing now in Pakistan is what the UK government feared would happen in their country, and stated that as their reason to refuse Asia asylum. So I ask the UK is that the only line the muslims have drawn on your countries sand? Think not.

……………………
These poor people. I wish I could say that this surprises–but we knew that this would happen.
God, I hate Islam.
Pam Minnick says
A country that isn’t being taken over by muslims need to extend asylum to them, the UK isn’t a very safe place for her and her family. It needs to be the low Islamic population countries that need to do this, we should also go and get all Christians out, then they would have to decide who is going to pay the taxes they are losing from the Christian community. Islam needs to be wiped out, they have one goal and that is to dominate the world. I pray her and her family get to leave soon and live a safe and happy life, they have so much to overcome still, and so many years to make up.
WPM says
All funding from America to Pakistan should be cut off. A trade embargo with them should be enacted ,the useless UN should be removed from American soil and send to Europe .
Carolyne says
One of the reasons for the persecution of Asia Bibi is said to be that she drank water from a cup intended only for Muslims. Drinking from a cup last used by Muslims is disgusting as they are filthy creatures who act as a mob without any independent thought. Ten Muslims do not have a complete brain together.
Anne says
Is she out?
gravenimage says
We don’t know. Several reputable British newspapers reported Asia Bibi being on her way out with her family–now Pakistan is denying it.
Frank Anderson says
GI, I can help concluding that whether they are able to kill Ms. Bibi and her family, the killing of any infidels will not stop. Her presence or exit from Pakistan has nothing to do with the ongoing killing. It’s what has been done in the name of islam for 1400 years, the “final, perfect, complete, unchangeable” criminal conspiracy pretending to be a religion. I hope she and her family escape to safety. She would be a great blessing as are so many other escapees to freedom, because they help some blind people see what is really happening.
gravenimage says
This is all true, Frank. I just want to see Asia Bibi and her family reach safety.
Frank Anderson says
GI, WE CERTAINLY agree on that proposition, by any means necessary.
