Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

A day after jihadis murder four tourists, Vatican ambassador to Egypt says “dialogue” prevents terrorism

Dec 30, 2018 11:53 am By Robert Spencer

“The absence of dialogue between Al-Azhar and Vatican is the greatest gift for terrorism, Musarò added.”

He said that on December 29.

“Two Vietnamese tourists were killed earlier on Dec. 28 and ten others were injured in a tourist bus explosion in Marioteya district, near Giza governorate.”

Apparently the jihadis who killed those tourists didn’t get the memo: “Al-Azhar is in ‘dialogue’ with the Vatican! Stand down!”

In reality, the “dialogue” has not prevented a single jihad terror attack, or prevented one Christian from being persecuted in a Muslim country, or kept one church from being destroyed. It is a fool’s exercise that only results in Christians in the West not daring to speak about the plight of their persecuted brethren, for fear of harming the “dialogue.”

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)

“Absence of dialogue between Al-Azhar, Vatican ‘gift’ for terrorism: Vatican Amb.,” by Sara Sarwat, Egypt Today, December 30, 2018 (thanks to Tom):

CAIRO – 30 December 2018: Vatican Ambassador in Cairo Archbishop Bruno Musarò said on Saturday that the ongoing dialogue with Al-Azhar is blocking the spread of all forms of extremism and terrorism throughout the world.

In a TV statement, Musarò stressed that the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism plays a great role in reviving the Holy Family’s path as a pilgrimage and tourism destination.

Musarò stated that he personally provided all the necessary support for the success of the project to revive the Holy Family’s path in Egypt.

The Vatican’s ambassador in Cairo revealed that the Pope’s visit to Egypt and his meeting with Grand Imam of Egypt’s Al-Azhar Ahmed al-Tayeb restored the spirit of cooperation between the two institutions.

The absence of dialogue between Al-Azhar and Vatican is the greatest gift for terrorism, Musarò added.

Musarò said that there is cooperation between Egypt and the Vatican in several areas, especially in education and health. Vatican has many schools and medical centers throughout Egypt.

Two Vietnamese tourists were killed earlier on Dec. 28 and ten others were injured in a tourist bus explosion in Marioteya district, near Giza governorate.

According to a statement issued by Egypt’s Interior Ministry, the explosion came due to a primitive explosive device. Fourteen Vietnamese tourists were reportedly on the bus….

Dialogue was tried in 1939 with Hitler. Didn’t work! Why not? Hitler had already planned to wage war. Same with Islam. Won’t work, because jihad is Islam’s only policy. Clowns!

Neither the Vatican nor Al Azhar University has an army, an air force or a navy so they cannot enforce their will. All they have is the influence they can bring to bear on the national governments.

Diplomats are people who talk in hushed tones and muted adjectives. To say we don’t need diplomats is simplistic.

      • Geoffrey Britain says

The Vatican’s denial acts as support for the Left, which sees Islamic terrorism as a desirable means of destabilizing the West.

Diplomats are of use when dealing with rational, civilized parties. They are counter-productive when dealing with the criminally inclined. And yes, communists, Islamists and thugs like Putin ARE criminally inclined.

Putin has reacted to the West meddling in Ukraine, a private garden of Russia and seat of the first capital of united Russia in the midle age. Putin promotes the re-Christianization of Russia, while the anti-theists of your coastal cities are destroying the cultural foundation of the US.

Speaking as a former diplomat, I believe some headway was made dealing with Communists who knew they needed to reform or see their regime collapse. Indeed, diplomacy can be used with thuggish parties–as long as the thuggish parties know that there can be dire consequences if they don’t want diplomacy and that the parties using diplomacy do not get overly idealistic about what they might accomplish. This being said, I’ve also always been one who believes in keeping the proverbial powder dry, and that there are times and circumstances when a state may justly wage war.

One time between 1991 and 2007, the Catholic administrator in Egypt told the reporter, “Oh, they can see our clinic on the roof of the building. We treat the wives & children.”
Now 2018 Vatican Ambassador to Cairo Egypt Bruno Masaro says about same.

how can you have a dialogue with people who refuse to condemn the murder wing of its faith?
‘Al-Azhar Announcement: No Believer Can Be Accused Of Heresy Regardless Of His Sins; If A Person Accuses Another Of Heresy, The Accuser Takes On The Sin Of Which He Is Accusing The Other’

Like the “friend” that tells the sodden drunk, “No, you don’t have a drinking problem; you are not an alcoholic.”…..this idiot is an enabler. As is the pope. Enabling the terrorists to keep on terrorizing and murdering those who disagree. Not that this idiot or the pope could stop the murderers from killing, but at least not side with them, blaming the victims for not “talking” the murderers out of their goals.

    • mortimer says

      Dec 30, 2018 at 7:35 pm

Neither. Archbishop Bruno Musarò is a diplomat, speaking diplomatically, so things may be negotiated behind the scenes. Roman Catholics in Muslim countries are hostages and Muslims use the threat of killing them as a bargaining chip. If the Vatiican really spoke out against Islam, it could trigger another crusade.

Even if the clerics at Al-Azhar ordered their fathful to stop doing such things, they wouldn’t listen. Instead, it would be these clerics the ones being murdered, ad they would be deemed “hypocrites”, and the Quran calls for death to them.

The Pope has sold out to the New World Order. The New World Order is Babylon and it will impose its will on all the countries it can conquer (England, France, Germany, and most of the EU except Switzerland, Poland, Hungary). Countries that will not knuckle under to their loss of sovereignty and be ruled by the NWO will be destroyed. I am afraid the U.S. will either side with Israel and be destroyed by the NWO or it will side with the NWO and be destroyed by God.

I wonder if the Vatican believes dialogue with Satan would be fruitful?
