Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Iran: Nine evangelical Christians reported arrested during Christmas week

Dec 31, 2018 11:00 am By Robert Spencer

“The Islamic Republic regularly persecutes people who convert from Islam to Christianity and most converts try to worship secretly in home-churches.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran is not “extremist” in this: the death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)

A Sunni hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”

Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”

“Nine Evangelical Christians Reported Arrested During Christmas Week In Iran,” Radio Farda, December 30, 2018:

Tasnim news agency connected with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards reported on Sunday that nine evangelical Christians have been arrested in recent days in Alborz province, neighboring the capital Tehran.

Tasnim had already reported the arrest of four Christians on Saturday and on Sunday it said five more were arrested on December 26, a day after Christmas. It is not clear when exactly the first four were detained.

The Islamic Republic regularly persecutes people who convert from Islam to Christianity and most converts try to worship secretly in home-churches. A few Christian preachers have been killed or received long prison terms in the past. International human rights organizations have condemned Tehran for its policy towards converts.

Conversion to another religion is forbidden in Islam and punishable….

According to the Islamic constitution of Iran, traditional established Eastern churches are officially recognized and are free to operate and serve their congregations, which mainly have ethnic composition; such as the Armenian or the Assyrian communities.

Remember when the group of imsms were on a plane, causing other passengers to worry due to the way they spoke, things they carried and were moving about? They were “detained” and questioned and it was reported everywhere as something terrible. Only a little while after 9/11 and deliberately provoking, but claiming innocence and persecution. And they basically got away with it…and much more since.

It needs to be said..SATAN IS ISLAM…ISLAM IS SATAN!It has to be so. Everything that is in Islam is just what Satan loves.
Satan knows his time is short so he I’d in an overkill mode.
Look let’s face it..the west …say….in the last 70 years. (A LIFETIME FOR MANY ) The West has gradually turned its back on GOD and are worshiping worldly things instead of Him.
Church doors are closing every day while mosques are being built with the aid of the Muslim Brotherhood..does anyone not know that GOD don’t know what’s going on. Ill go out on a limb here…has GOD done much for America lately and if he has then we don’t give him credit instead worshiping worldly things seems to be what we do.

DEAR GOD PLEASE SAVE US FROM OURSELVES!

Those who worship out of Love, threaten those who worship for hate, by simply existing. Those who hate must, therefore, eliminate those who love.

satan is at work in iran, just as in syria, iraq, libya, and a whole host of…57 at least…countries where moslims fanatically do his bidding. And he is at work every where else, attempting a complete destruction of Christianity before he is chained and thrown into the abyss.

The Pope would say something ,but he is too busy condemning” mean spirited world leaders” like President Trump and the newly elected PM of Italy for trying to protecting their borders from invading refugee army .Trump is are not acting in a Christian manner or spirit according to the current Pope. The Pope of “Green Peace” is worry about carbon foot print of the western world, the Pope of” Islamic appeasement” is washing Islamic feet and kissing Islamic ass to worry about Christians who get locked up and might face a death sentence for being Christian. Will he come out with a statement like he did for Asia Bibi that it is the government of Iran business how it treats its citizens that he cannot even condemn or comment on it? He is the “listening Pope” listening to and seeing Christians put to death because of their faith does not phase him in the least it seems. The Pope seems to wear my hats for many “world causes” he will share his opinion on, but he is ever quiet on Moslem lead countries locking up and systematical trying to exterminate Christians and Christianity !

I share your sense of indignation about this greasy Pope, his hypocrisy makes one boil. Unfortunately I’ve learned to despise the Vatican.

Have often wondered what goes through the mind of poor Asia Bibi.
Persecuted and imprisoned for being a Christian for 8 years, now publicly rejected by the Pope himself.

Just because the Pope made some political errors does not mean that one despises the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church is still the One, True Church that Our Lord Jesus founded despite the antics of the present Pope.

    • Lamb's Servant says

But you also have to remember that there are many Catholics, around the world, that are suffering under the sword of Islam.

Does anyone still think Sharia law is acceptable in Western countries? Sharia contradicts and trumps the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Countries that do not enforce the UNDR should not sit on human rights committees at the UN.

      —
      *ABSOLUTELY* correct, mortimer!!!

nevertheless, hard-core leftists, who themselves admit to no concept of any rights other than their own to power over everybody else, ignore the hypocrisy in the UN, and go further by attacking any who complain. in eurabia, they have managed to defeat free speech; all the ummah has to do is throw a riot or 2 about anything that violates sharia, and the State will step in to enforce sharia to pacify them. end result: total rule of sharia. how can anybody miss that?

in 732, charles the hammer stopped the ummah; 13 centuries later, his descendants dropped trou and bent over. europe will quickly die, giving birth first to leftist dictatorships, to be followed by muslim s**tholes. as one with distant relatives in both france and germany, i mourn. only God can fix this cock-up.

First, it would be naive not to understand the those mullahs and ayatollahs didn’t have a hand in having their stooges , who are Islamic state police, the Revolutionary Guard s arrest those Christian evangelicals .

Second, this is further proof that Islam is such a weak and fragile religion that the arrest of those few Christians was felt necessary by the ayatollah, mullah and imams of Iran. For those Muslim clerics are afraid that if the Iranian people even have a chance to examine and thus compare and contrast the Bible and the Quran the people of Iran might discover that the Bible of the super of those two books.
Since the foundation for the tyrannical regime of the Islamic “Republic” of Iran is based on the Quran, which is also the entire foundation for of Islam, the Muslim clerics fear that their power base might collapse.
So the arrest of the nine evangelical l Christians reveals extreme fear those Muslim clerics have of the Bible, For this also show that those Muslim clerics in power in that “mullahs regime” of Iran will use .the Islamic state police and their tools to stop Christians and keep the Iranian people in in ignorance of the Bible and in the darkness of Islam

Third,, those mullahs and ayatollahs and imams of Iran with their falsehoods and deceptions of the many false doctrines of Islam in which they brainwash the Iranian people in believing is something that is both sad and tragic. Those ayatollahs and mullahs are, no doubt, just as deluded as the people who they thoroughly indoctrinate with false teachings of Islam. Of such demonic deception by false teachers who are also deluded such men a have been predicted in the Bible. For in the Bible it’s written that “Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived.” Second Timothy 3:13. [K.J.V.] All those mullahs and ayatollahs are, according to the doctrines of the Bible, Isaiah 8:20. false religious teachers .Meaning false teachers who teach and indoctrinate the false doctrines of the false religion of Islam into the hearts and minds of others . Such false teachers are described in the Bible ,in Second Peter 2:1. “There were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

Therefore, to reply to the many different claims made by the imams and mullahs as well as the other apologists for Islam there is the Christian internet site. It’s http://www.answering-islam.org
In addition, it should be make clear that in the context and meaning of the above Bible verse Second Peter 2:1. The word “destruction” does not mean “loss of being but loss of well-being ,as the destruction of well- being . That is “going to ruin” by ending up and a terrible place of awful suffering which the Bible call hell, Luke 16:19-31.

Nine? According to other sources, it’s over a hundred:

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/12/10/iran-arrests-100-christians-growing-crackdown-minority/

More proof of how worried the mullahs are. But they won’t stop Christianity growing now. As has been pointed out many times, a society like Iran is a perfect breeding ground for Christianity:

“Many of the 114 detained were converts to Christianity from a Muslim background, accused of “proselytising”……

There are no official records, but there are estimated to be some 350,000 remaining in Iran – some one per cent of Iran’s population, with a rising trend toward converting to Christianity.
Christian advocacy groups report a growing underground evangelical movement in Iran, where they say increasing numbers of people who have become curious about the minority religion.”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnO_YlzwOFk

They can’t stop it now. Atheism, agnosticism, Christianity all growing apace. Islam collapsing by the hour. As I’ve said, I give the mullahs six years…….MAX.

… give the mullahs six years…….MAX.
      —
i pray that U are correct about that, Peter. as U note, repressive societies provide the best ground for the seed that is the word of God; iran is indeed a good field, because *only* those who truly believe will be willing to suffer just to join the church. when there is true religious freedom, the church often mistakenly admits those with social, political, and/or economic motives (CINOs collectively), diluting the body of the church, and thus weakening its ability to carry out His perfect will. this is readily seen in mainline (aka “soon-to-be-extinct”) churches in eurabia and other westernized nations, where if churches have any members at all, they are only there for socializing or for possible economic contacts (there is little political power, so those folks are long gone). at this point, it will *definitely* take a miraculous work of God to pull civilization back from the brink.

I share your sentiment , Gravenimage . And your question regarding christianbloods abcense at this point , and his possible answer to this heinous behaviour from the Iranian authorities , is a fair question . I think “christianblood” has no credible answer , and his silence speaks for itself . Happy New Year to you and your loved ones , Gravenimage , and to every person connected to/with Jihad Watch of good will !
