Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Tariq Ramadan: The Foul Fiend’s Foul Past (Part Two)

Dec 5, 2018 10:00 am By Hugh Fitzgerald

A second Muslim woman in Paris also accused Ramadan of raping her in a hotel room in 2009. The unnamed 42-year-old, who is reported to have disability in her legs, said that the professor had subjected her to a terrifying and violent sexual assault. The French edition of Vanity Fair magazine, whose staff met the 45-year-old woman, said her lawsuit against Ramadan described “blows to the face and body, forced sodomy, rape with an object and various humiliations, including being dragged by the hair to the bathtub and urinated on.”

A third woman known as “Marie” — her real name is Mounia Borrouj — also accused Ramadan of rape. Other accusations of rape and extreme sexual violence have also been made against him by an American woman now living in Kuwait, and by another in Belgium; the legal status of these accusations is not clear.

On June 5, the French judges handling Ramadan’s case dismissed the charges made by “Marie.” This led to much mafficking by Ramadan’s supporters. They thought that their hero, unjustly persecuted by the French justice system solely because he was such a prominent Muslim, at last was seeing justice done, and they looked forward to his being completely exonerated. Apparently these judges, described by Ramadan’s loyalists for so long as “unfair” and “biased,” had suddenly became “fair” and “unbiased.”

What made the judges dismiss the accusations by “Marie”?

First, “Marie” was no innocent, but an ex-escort girl, that is, a call girl, who had already been involved in a famous sex scandal in France involving special “evenings” — at such sites as the Hotel Carlton in Lille (l’ affaire du Carlton de Lille) — where such notables as Dominique Strauss-Kahn, former director of the IMF, enjoyed the favors of high-end prostitutes. There is no hint of any such background in the lives of any of Ramadan’s other accusers.

Second, “Marie” claimed to have been raped by Ramadan in France, London, and Brussels nine times over sixteen months between 2013 and 2014. Both Henda Ayari and “Christelle” claimed to have been raped only once. The judges obviously felt that if “Marie” kept coming back to Ramadan eight times after her initial “rape,” that made more plausible Ramadan’s contention that their relationship was not forced by him, but mutually agreed on. He who had claimed a few months ago never to have engaged in adultery recently changed his story, and before the judges he admitted that his encounters with “Marie” were sexual, and involved mild (!) S and M. These “sexual games,” as Ramadan and his lawyers called this sordidness, were — they claimed — consensual. Why would “Marie” keep agreeing to meet with Ramadan if she had been previously raped by him, against her will, again and again?

Third, Ramadan’s lawyers introduced into evidence 300 videos and a thousand photos sent by “Marie,” with sexual content, that support Ramadan’s contention that their meetings, however violent, were consensual. On one of the videos, “Marie” can be heard pleading with Ramadan, saying “My love, I love you very much” (“Mon amour, je t’aime fort”). That message was sent by “Marie’’ on May 17, 2013; she claimed that she had been raped by Ramadan the night before. Isn’t it possible that she had been smitten with Ramadan – flattered that this “towering intellect’’ took what seemed to be a real interest in her, and so she willingly submitted to his sexual violence? Isn’t it plausible that once “Marie” learned of all the others Ramadan was accused of sexually violating, in France, Belgium, the U.S. and Switzerland, she became infuriated at this evidence of Ramadan’s “betrayal” of her, and decided to press her own charges of rape for what may well have been “consensual” encounters?

Given her own past as a call girl, the fact that she kept coming back to Ramadan for more of those “rapes,” the fact that Ramadan admitted to a long “consensual” affair with her (while continuing to deny any sexual contact with his other accusers), and given, too, the 300 videos and the thousand photographs, some with sexual content, which she continued to send Ramadan to remind him of all those times they had had together, while at the same time declaring her love — this unhinged “Fatal Attraction” behavior was what finally Ramadan claimed had been too much trouble to deal with, and thus he cut off all contact with her.

The decision of the judges not to hear “Marie’s” case was the first, and only, victory for Ramadan and his lawyers. But it turned out to be premature for his loyalists to celebrate. The story of “Marie” had nothing in common with the accusations made by the eminently respectable Henda Ayari and “Christelle,” who had each testified to having been raped, but only once, with extreme violence, by Ramadan. Those of his many fans (two million Facebook friends, 200,000 followers on Twitter) who exulted in Ramadan’s “victory” over a former call girl’s doubtful accusation of having endured “nine rapes” by the “towering intellect” over a two-year period, would soon have to curb their enthusiasm. There are many cases concerning Ramadan still to come — and not just in France — and none of them involve accusations by ex-call girls, or claims of repeated rapes. And for all of the other accusers, Ramadan continued to insist — as he did not with “Marie” — on his complete innocence. That is, he repeatedly denied any sexual contact with Henda Ayari and “Christelle” — until, that is, he changed his story completely.

MOHAMMED WAS A SEX ADDICT … Muslims imitate their role model.

If muslims are required to follow the perfect example{Sunnah} of muhammed then shouldn’t they all be wearing women’s clothing whilst “praying” to their allah as muhammed did when he had to wear Aisha’s dress for the perfect koranic chanelling experience?

There is no such thing as a ‘sex addict’. Only men, (and women) who are massively entitled. Google the term addiction.

Wrong, and as someone who reads French and follows French news you would have been aware. Both women kept sending suggestive and sexual sms and message after the alleged rape. So we have women who claimed they were almost killed by an evil rapist who then send lovey dovey sexual messages to the same person begging for another encounter.

Think of it this way Mr. Fitzgerald, would you be so ready to condemn one side and overlook glaring inconsistencies (actually lies) on the part of these women if Ramadan had been a Jewish man (Frederic Aziza?) and the accusers Muslim women?

So you claim that all the many charges against Ramadan were invented? There seem to me to be too many of them from too many sources.

Blame the victims, lebel. You know how that makes YOU LOOK !!! What have you done to women?

We want to hear from your victims now.

He admitted an Islam-forbidden, “mild” S&M affair . Get over it. Just, as Christians had to get over super-church leaders like Jimmy Swaggart and Ted Haggard that “broke bad”. His reputation, formerly inflated, cannot be saved. The truth of other charges will be ultimately discovered but it will not change the fact that the great “Casey” has struck out.

The lesson learned should be to know that all competition for status will result in some corruption whether hidden or apparent. Corruption seeks the favor of power. No man, not even Muhammad, should be regarded as more special than your neighbor, a person with whom you can share life experience.

Celebrities come and go with the seasons. Those who follow them are often disappointed by actual contact with them on a personal basis, away from adoring mobs.

I wonder if the women can come up with four male witnesses to substantiate their claims. Hopefully, the female accusers won’t be honor killed by their loving and tolerant Muslim relatives.

and more than that: if a woman accuses a man of adultery, the onus is on her to prove his guilt. If a man accuses a woman of adultery, the onus is one her to prove her innocence.

Just one more of the many many instances of gender equality in Islam.

Here it is otheway round all that a woman has to do is just to accuse a man of sexual misconduct and the man is convicted in the media and press . Hearngs on confirmation of justice Kavanagh is still fresh Talk of double standards!

It really doesn’t matter too much if Ramadan finds a way out of the other charges. His admission to to S & M, Islam-condemned intimate relations, disqualifies him as a future teacher, speaker, role model in Islam or higher education – his career has already ended.

The same people who desperately want him to avoid jail are not quite so desperate to have him spend time with their daughters; CAIR, SPLC, NCCM, and Ivy-league universities won’t be holding him up as a good example of Islam nor inviting him to the elite parties.

I hope so–but a Muslim sexually abusing women and children–infidels or unveiled Muslimahs–is not really un-Islamic. I do hope that this has cut his chances at continuing to snow the credulous Infidels, though.

      • Westman says

        Dec 5, 2018 at 10:27 pm

Perhaps he could tour Muslim countries, though that seems like asking to be deceased. The American universities have already cut ties – he is antithetical to the Islam image the universities are promoting to the students.
