Of course it was normal life in the Islamic State, because the Islamic State adhered scrupulously to Sharia within its domains. And crucifixion is a Sharia punishment, based on the Qur’an:
“Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.” (Qur’an 5:33)
“Sugar Land Islamic State group member speaks from Syria,” by Jacob Rascon, Click2Houston, January 15, 2019:
SUGAR LAND, Texas – The Houstonian who applied for a job with the Islamic State group and was captured in Syria recently spoke about his experience in an exclusive interview with NBC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel.
Warren Christopher Clark graduated from the University of Houston in 2008 with a political science degree. He went on to be a substitute teacher in Sugar Land….
“I wanted to actually go see exactly what the group was about and what they were doing,” Clark said. “I saw some people being executed publicly; I saw some crucifixions. You know, that’s just normal life there.”…
“I am looking to get a position teaching English to students in the Islamic state,” Clark wrote in part….
“I was born and raised in the United States and have always loved teaching,” Clark also wrote….
When pressed about why he joined Islamic State group if he knew they were responsible for brutal killings, he responded in part: “I think, you know, with the beheadings, OK that’s execution. You know, I’m from the United States. From Texas. They like to execute people too.”

What crap. The US did not send this Jihadist to the Islamic State.
By the way, on other threads christianblood appears to be enraged that we toppled the “Caliphate”.
WPM says
Where is the connection that this idiot was paid by the American government to go there ? If the US government was going to send someone to fight for ISIS would they send some untrained part time school teacher? ISIS is a enemy of the present Saudi government what is the up side of making Syria unstable for the Saudis ?
mortimer says
The Saudis wanted to build a pipeline through Syria and Turkey to Europe.

WPM, christianblood is full of crap.

Satanic liberal, Anti-Christ America is always on the side of islamic jihadists! America is an eternal ally of the global Islamic jihadist movements! Two decades ago, America/Nato backed Balkan jihadists bombed Christian Serbs and established two islamic states (Bosnia & Kosovo) in Eastern Europe! As a result of that, Hundreds of Serbian Orthodox Churches and Monasteries were destroyed by KLA jihadists supported by America and Nato in the region known as ‘Metohija’ alone and a quarter of a million Serb Christian were evicted from their homes in that same region!

I love the picture of Putin in the corner. Yeah, so what was he doing during the Soviet era? Supporting Christianity? Yeah, right!

Indiana Tom
Communism was not indigenous to Russia, it was exported from Germany by people who hated Christian Russia and was forcefully imposed on Russia! Look it up, Indiana! Thank God, Russia is now a Christian nation again and that is why the satanic, godless, atheistic and hollywoodized West hates Russia! See the President address this very question below:

I am surprised that you are not outraged that the fact that you country, (U$A) and its Nato vassals have supported Balkan jihadists, bombed Christian Serbs and created two islamic states (Bosnia & Kosovo) in Eastern Europe!!! Can you explain it?
gravenimage says
Russia was Communist for seventy years. The idea that the mean old *non-Communist* West forced this on them is ludicrous.

Crimes against humanity that should be punished by life imprisonment. No one who endorses crucifixion, child marriage, cousin marriage, jizzya or jihad warfare against kafirs should be eligible for residency in a democratic country. These crimes are totally incompatible with modernity.
mortimer says
Warren Christopher Clark is intellectually dishonest. The United States has never chopped heads, hands or feet nor practiced FGM. They are considered barbaric. Warren Christopher Clark endorsed a Bronze-Age mentality out of 7th-century Arabia and thus he is to primitive to teach Americans who reject cruel and unusual punishments and believe in human rights and due process. At one time in the USA, it was necessary to endorse the American constitution in order to be a teacher. Now teachers must be ANTI-AMERICAN in order to get hired.

sadly, mortimer, U are correct; the hard left has owned education from top to bottom for decades now.

Yes, Mortimer–this is more fake moral equivalence.
Moreover, while Texas executes heinous murderers, the Islamic State considered such people to be heroes.
jewdog says
The moral equivalence between IS and Texas makes sense, since, as we all know, Texas executes people for violating Sharia.

Yeah, crucifying is normal here in rural Indiana. Just normal life here.
See, he is just like you and me.

He probably uses this as an example to his students that “all cultures are equal”.

Usually those who “love teaching” and want to see a bit of the world go to Japan or Europe or join the Peace Corps to teach English. They don’t go to a state that *crucifies* their victims. *Ugh*.
