“Epiphany is the religious feast day celebrated by millions of Christians around the world on January 6. As is usual on the holy day, Pope Francis gave a mass to 60,000 people in St Peter’s Basilica, Rome.”
Unfortunately, Pope Francis decided that he would use his powerful role once again to force the political agenda of globalism and wide-open borders upon the flock. He delivered a brazen appeal:
“I make a heartfelt appeal to European leaders to show concrete solidarity for these people.”
He claimed that migrants were only “seeking a safe port where they can disembark.” This simply isn’t true. The UK’s Home Secretary Sajid Javid, for example, “is set to tighten rules on migrants who continue to ‘asylum shop’ and exploit Britain’s generous immigration system by travelling through other safe countries in Europe to the UK.”
The Pope remains safely “walled up” at the Vatican surrounded by guards while he appeals to Europe to fling open their doors to illegal migrants.
The Pope has abandoned his responsibility to guide the Catholic Church and has made himself into a puppet for the globalist cause. His statements are increasingly bizarre. He has called gossipers “terrorists,” but but not Islamic jihadis. He has also compared illegal migrants to Jesus, while a Vatican official said that the hunted Christian Asia Bibi was an “internal matter” of Pakistan. Pope Francis even called Christians who were murdered by Muslims in Algeria a “testament to God’s plan for a peaceful coexistence of Christians and Muslims.”
“Epiphany 2019 pope appeal: ‘Show concrete SOLIDARITY’ – Pope Francis migrant plea to EU,” by Kat Hopps, Express, January 6, 2019:
POPE Francis has used Epiphany 2019 to launch a “heartfelt appeal” to European leaders following an escalating migrant dispute – here is what you need to know.
Epiphany is the religious feast day celebrated by millions of Christians around the world on January 6. As is usual on the holy day, Pope Francis gave a mass to 60,000 people in St Peter’s Basilica, Rome. But the Catholic leader also used his platform to wade into an international diplomatic row about migrants trying to enter European waters. The dispute between Catholic nations Italy and Malta centres around 49 migrants rescued by German humanitarian group Sea-Watch 3.
The passengers were plucked from two unsafe vessels travelling out of Libya on December 22 and December 29.
Both Italy and Malta have refused entry to both groups, one of which includes three small children and four children.
Now, Pope Francis has intervened, making his views heard on one of the biggest religious festivals of the year.
Addressing his comments to St Peter’s Square on Sunday, Pope Francis said: “I make a heartfelt appeal to European leaders to show concrete solidarity for these people.”
The Pope added the migrants concerned were only “seeking a safe port where they can disembark”…..
dan christensen says
I make a heartfelt appeal to European leaders to show concrete solidarity for their own people.
Because, how can help all the billions of poor suffering downtrodden peoples in the world, if they all show up in European countries to suck them dry?
You don’t eat or bite the hand that feeds you. Once the European taxpayers have spent their money on feeding the multitudes from muslim lands, how will the poor muslims then survive???

Someone needs to explain to this nitwit why the Vatican has a wall. I believe that it has something to do with Muslims invading and sacking St. Peter’s. Today’s Muslims who come to Europe are clearly invaders, not asylum seekers. Many of them want to destroy Western Civilization as they have no intention of assimilating. Globalism is pure nonsense in today’s world.

This Pope is an open border globalist! It’s disgraceful. I am a lifelong catholic but have not given to the catholic church since Francis became pope. I feel he is a one world order plant and appeared suddenly
when the previous pope retires(?). Popes have not retired in over 100 years and suddenly a pope retires and we get communist Francis ??. And the US government gives millions of dollars to Catholic social services, the Lutheran social services , etc etc to place all these illegals across our country and leave the responsibility for them to local small communities. And these immigrants do not assimilate- they invade, and expect welfare, medical , housing, education , etc etc. it’s insanity.
Look at what has happened in Europe, England, Sweden, etc etc. crime , disease, welfare
running rampant . I respect the new Italian PM for closing their ports. There is no end to the audacity of pope Francis! Thank goodness Pres.Trump is limiting illegal immigration and we will soon have a wall.
God bless and save the Christian world??????

“God bless and save the Christian world”
Nobody else will – in particular the muslim invaders.

I have an idea. The pope can go to live in Saudi Arabia and the Vatican given to the Christian refugees who the UK and other EU countries refuse to help. That way the true refugees would be saved and the pope can live in the ‘multicultural’ Saudi Arabia.
I read the Frontpage article yesterday and was horrified.
Tom says
This Pope is a dope. He does not represent me or any of my Catholic bretheren who I have spoken with about this fake upstart who has stolen the title.
Perhaps he should change his lipservice support for the mass migration into real and tangible action by opening up his own house and taking in unfettered numbers of migrants and support them for life.
Rufolino says
I remember vividly.
When Francis was first elected and he appeared on the balcony of St.Peter’s in those yellow spotlights, I gasped out loud.
“He looks like a mullah !” I exclaimed.
I can’t account for my specific reaction to his presence.
I merely offer this as an interesting first impression.

The three wise men from the East came bringing gifts for a child whom they thought would someday be a great man. They left their homes, found the child and paid homage to him by presenting him with precious items. They asked for nothing in return. Then they went back to their own homes, ignoring the request of a king who wanted them to tell him where to find this special child. The three men truly were wise because they knew that there are some men who are guided by evil and that when such men find a thing of great value they will not honor it but try to destroy it. In no way do I consider this Pope to be a wise man.
Raja says
CogitoErogoSum,
With all due respect to you i would like to clear a long-held misconception.
The tradition that there were three wise men arose from the fact that the Bible mentions three gifts, gold frankincense and myrrh according to Matthew 2:11. However, the Bible doesn’t say how many wise men made the journey to see the baby Jesus. The unfounded idea that they were also kings came from the imagery of Isaiah 60:3.
Hope this excerpt will make interesting reading:
The three wise men, also known as magi, were men belonging to various educated classes. Our English word magician comes from this same root. But these wise men were not magicians in the modern sense of sleight-of-hand performers. They were of noble birth, educated, wealthy, and influential. They were philosophers, the counselors of rulers, learned in all the wisdom of the ancient East. The wise men who came seeking the Christ child were not idolaters; they were upright men of integrity.
They had apparently studied the Hebrew Scriptures and found there a clear transcript of truth. In particular, the Messianic prophecies of the Old Testament must have claimed their attention, and among these they found the words of Balaam: “A Star shall come out of Jacob; a Scepter shall rise out of Israel” (Numbers 24:17, NKJV). They certainly were acquainted with the prophecy of Micah: “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel” (Micah 5:2, NKJV; see also Matthew 2:5, 6). They probably also knew and understood the time prophecy of Daniel regarding the appearance of the Messiah (see Daniel 9:25, 26) and came to the conclusion that His coming was near.
On the night of Christ’s birth, a mysterious light appeared in the sky which became a luminous star that persisted in the western heavens (see Matthew 2:1, 2). Impressed with its import, the wise men turned once more to the sacred scrolls. As they tried to understand the meaning of the sacred writings, they determined to go in search of the Messiah. Like Abraham, they knew not at first where they were to go, but followed as the guiding star led them on their way.

Raja

Next to head of the RCC, the pope IS himself a European leader, as head of the state of Vatican city.
So practice what you preach, and invite these immigrants into Vatican city. Beginning with the RC Asia Bibi.
Clayton Lee says
As a cradle Catholic I find what is going on in the Church at the moment very painful. I agree with you that the Vatican should open its doors if the Pope is going to insist that others take in migrants or so called refugees. Asia Bibi should be the first one accepted.

From now on,give all migrants a Bus ticket, Frankie’s phone number and address in the Vatican.
Frankie would surely love them:his vatican has buckets of money and loads of real estate.Think of how many souls could be put up inside the vatican!
Send ALL future migrants to Rome:since Frankie loves them so much he can provide for them.As CEO of a multibillion dollar corporation based in the vatican,RCC industries, he can easily afford to put his money where his mouth is.
I’m making a heartfelt plea to the head of this enormously wealthy corporation , to Frankie, to turn St Peter’s Square into a homeless center, kick the Cardinals out of their apartments and give it to refugees instead and distribute all the undeserved wealth of the Vatican to the poor:it’s what Jesus would want isn’t it Frankie?
C,mon Frankie, they are only seeking a “safe port” and what place is safer{..apart from all the freemasons, the pedos and their pedo-protecting Bishops…}than the vatican?
Please Frankie:Give a little..it would help a lot.
Mr Bergolio!Tear down these Vatican Walls ..and let the Great Unwashed in..
CogitoErgoSum says
Something strikes me in what you wrote at the end about the Great Unwashed. Before Jesus allows anyone into His kingdom they are to be washed first. It’s up to the individual whether to accept this requirement or to seek refuge elsewhere.
FYI says
Apparently Frankie loves washing feet;as long as there is a photographer to record the great act of public piety.Perhaps he should invite more refugees into the Vatican. He would be better at washing feet than being a pope as he is too busy scattering his flock..

I’m still waiting for that ceremony where a bunch of Muslims wash the feet of some Christians — though I have seen a Christian’s head being placed at his own feet by a group of cheering Muslims.

Pope uses Epiphany to push globalism and open-door immigration in EU
……………………….
Uh…right. Because the Magi brought gifts like mass rape, car burnings, and Jihad terror attacks. Or–y’know–something like that…
Walter Sieruk says
Pope Francis won’t miss a change to push ,since he’s unable to force, globalism and and the fool policy of folly which is an “open -door” immigration policy into the politics of the European Union.
As for the first which Globalism . Pope Francis seems to be “in bed” in some kind of “conspiracy” with George Soros , Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama and so forth.
As for the second the pope pushing for an “open -door” policy for Muslim migrants enter Europe. This is unconscionable of Francis for he ,at least pretending to be a Christian should know and understand the Jesus had taught By their fruits you will know them” Matthew 7:20. So far fruits of the “open door” policy concerning Muslim migrants has been nothing but a disaster. As tin the policy results in the evil fruits of Muslim riots arson crime , rapes crime Muslim criminal gangs attacking the harming and even murdering the European people. Where is the love of pope Francis for the native people of Europe , He must not really have any love for them since he’s backing such a “open door policy which only has many evil fruits ,7:7:16-18.
It might be added the it’s very easy for pope Francis to talk the way he does, for he will never suffer harm by violent and vicious Muslim migrants since he lives behind the tall strong border walls of Vatican City.
It also should be added that twice a few years apart I had visited Vatican City and both times men known as the “Swiss Guard” stood around not letting the public into most of the land small nation state of Vatican City
Rufolino says
One day Walter, in the not so distant future, the decorative Guards of the Vatican will be overcome and the enemy will enter its gates. This is Islam’s sworn ambition.
ntesdorf says
As soon as we see the Pope accommodating thousands of Muslims in the Vatican apartments, we will start taking what he says on the subject seriously. The Swiss Guard keeps the Muslims and others outside the Vatican now.

Deliver the migrants a safe port in Africa.
Salome says
Only seeking a safe port at which to disembark? If they hadn’t embarked in the first place . . .
dan christensen says
If they hadn´t embarked in the first place, the weak goodhearted people in Europe would have missed them sorely.
For decades the softhearted brainless part of the European population were accustomed to the aggressive money-hungry migrants from islamistan. The eager hands in their pockets, the sex-hungry males chasing Christian girls, the offended postures and the pious hypocrisy from muslim intruders.
On whose side is the pope anyway? The Christians side or the attacking muslim forces?
Lydia Church says
Typical.
Again, no one is obligated to allow entry to those who don’t obey the laws, or who are not Christians if it is a Christian nation, I quoted many OT verses before on that.
He is pushing his agenda as always.
