A madrassa teacher and a local mosque imam were “tied to trees and beaten up” for trying to prevent a child marriage in the Noakhali District of Hatia Upazila in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
As the title below indicates, they were “tortured for a good deed,” and that good deed was trying to protect a young girl from abuse. Child marriage is sanctioned in Islam. Noteworthy about the beating of the two men is that it illustrates the risk taken by Muslims who attempt to break away from normative Islam.
Three decades ago, Bangladesh was regarded as a largely secular nation. Now, the article “Is Bangladesh going the way of Pakistan?” details how it has become an Islamized nation rife with jihad violence and widespread intolerance against disbelievers, as well as an increasing prevalence abusive Islamic practices.
Less than two months ago, news emerged that the Pakistani spy agency, Inter Service Intelligence, was manipulating Bangladesh’s elections in order to help the jihadist Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Jamaat e Islami Bangladesh (JIB) form the next government.
“Tortured for a good deed,” Daily Star, February 3, 2019:
A madrasa teacher and an imam of a mosque have been beaten up allegedly for preventing a child marriage at Hatia upazila in Noakhali.
The two victims are Maulana Tariqul, teacher of Darul Arqam Ebtedayee Madrasa, and Minhajul, imam of a local mosque in the upazila’s Purbo Rasulpur area.
Tariqul said he heard the family members of one of his 13-year-old students arranged a programme at their home to marry off their daughter.
Afterwards, he called the national help line (999) and sought help to stop the marriage. Following the instructions of the national help line, he contacted the local Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Nur-e-Alam and stopped the marriage with his help.
A few hours later, some people attacked him when he was going to a market along with Minhajul and some other locals.
At one point, the criminals abducted the duo and took them to the student’s home. They tied them to trees and beat them up, he alleged.
The criminals also snatched their mobile phones, cash and some documents.
Locals later rescued the victims.
After the incident, Tariqul filed a complaint with Hatia Police Station yesterday accusing four people…

Good for them on having a moral compass, a conscience that works. The beatings just prove that having a conscience is not allowed in islam.
And children do not get “married.” They get raped daily by someone old enough to be the father of the “child.” “Marriage” is performed for two consenting adults. Children can’t give consent to be raped.

So true, Somehistory. This is child rape.

This kind of people when they migrate to the West are automatically transformed into civilized and modern beings of light as soon as they cross the border. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Magreb, Somalia … what a wonderful immigration!
Child marriage, genital mutilation, rape, inbreeding, honor killing, overpopulation, Islamic terrorism, religious fanaticism and theocracy … What a wonderful society!
We need more muslims, more islam in other case we are xenophobic. We are doomed.

Yes. How wonderful to have civilization replaced by invading sub humans who can convert our countries to violent, misogynist, low IQ people with no humanity. I can hardly wait until my country has adopted these wonderful attributes

Bangladesh: Teacher and imam tortured for trying to stop a child marriage
……………………
Maulana Tariqul and Imam Minhajul are good people–much better than their religion.
The problem is that only civilized people believe that what they did was a good deed–pious Muslims believe in both child rape and torturing people who try to stop it.
Was the girl saved from this “marriage”? This is unclear.

This was reported in Jihad Watch some time back.
“……in April 2011, the Bangladesh Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini declared that those trying to pass a law banning child marriage in that country were putting Muhammad in a bad light: “Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, [putting] the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge.” He added a threat: “Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women.” The Mufti said that 200,000 jihadists were ready to sacrifice their lives for any law restricting child marriage.

As long as islam exists we will always have a world filled with grotesque injustice and crime. Every one of us will always be one step away from the hell islam creates. Nobody, no matter how good they may be, can be totally safe from the cursive effects of that violent and hateful superstition. The only good thing from such injustices is that it creates heroes that inspire and encourage others to good action. How many centuries will it take until humanity realizes the damning effects of islam–or any evil religion–can not be tolerated in a moral world that seeks peaceful relations among people. I’m not the philosopher type, but I’m feeling rather moody and thoughtful tonight. Such insanity for an ignorant superstition like islam baffles me, and it inspires the deepest thoughts and hopefulness for humanity. Even a baby brain like myself can see that a world with islam is like a public restroom with toilets constantly overflowing. And it’s hard to imagine humanity ever transcending intellectual and moral mediocrity with islam around our necks. We are living at a time when millions of us are crying out in resistance to the madness of islam. We are vilified, excoriated, rejected as racists and islamophobes for simply defending commonsense morality and human rights from obvious injustices like this. I don’t know if god exists. But if it does I know I’ve done good in speaking against the violent and intolerant teachings of islam. One does not need to be a four star teacher to know that murder taught as godly truth has no place in the heart of humanity, not if we want to be the best we can be. There’s a saying, “it is always darkest before the dawn.” Words of encouragement. Good times are in our future, I believe, but only if humanity rejects the self-serving and intolerant teachings that islam represents. And if we don’t, planet earth will be like the restroom everyone needs but nobody wants to go into. The stink will simply be too bad to bear.
