“Two Canadian women who had been living in ISIS-held territory with their children have surrendered to U.S.-backed forces in Syria.” One of them, identified by CNN as Dura Ahmed, made herself out to be the victim, as is common practice of jihadists.
Jihadists and stealth Muslim Brotherhood operatives, have been clear about what their agenda is. It is well documented and easily found. So the blame for the threat to innocent people in the West lies largely with Western leaders and faux “experts” who have refused to believe repeated jihadist threats, or understand their zealous motives and modus operandi.
Alexandra Bain, director of Families Against Violent Extremism, projects these Canadian women who have surrendered in Islamic State territory as innocent victims. Bain has appointed herself to be psychiatrist and judge in declaring their innocence, and the media has granted her the forum to do so. “Bain described the woman as ‘uncertain’ and ‘afraid,'” and with no knowledge of the possible atrocities in which these women may have participated, Bain further states of one of the women who surrendered: “she had been trying for the past seven months to escape ISIS with her children … I guess she saw it as her final chance.”
Many women who have served the Islamic State have tried to escape after themselves committing the worst abuses against Yazidi girls and other innocent infidels, and have subjected (and even taught) their children to the same ideology of the Islamic State.
The clueless Bain also described Dura Ahmed as “sounding like she had been ‘in a bubble'” and said: “She would have only been getting news from ISIS over the past several years.”
Most dangerously, Bain plays straight into the stealth jihadist narrative:
Leaving them there only feeds the ISIS narrative that the West hates Muslims, that the West hates Islam….Bringing these kids home, and healing them and allowing them to lead productive lives encourages them in the future to stand up against violent extremism — to be a voice against joining things like ISIS, and that’s really what we’re hoping for.
Jihadists have been at war with infidels for 1,400 years. Westerners should be outraged by the Bains of their societies who continue to put innocent people at risk. Bain was parroting the same rhetoric as Trudeau, who laid out the welcome mat to Islamic State militants as future helpful citizens to Canada. Trudeau believes Islamic State jihadis will reintegrate and be “extraordinarily powerful voices” for deradicalization for generations to come.
In a breakaway from Trudeau’s stance, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale stated that “he would not risk Canadian lives to bring foreign fighters or their families home.” Goodale has previously “admitted that the likelihood of successfully reintegrating ISIS fighters to our country is pretty remote.”
UK minister Rory Stewart, Minister of State at the Ministry of Justice (with responsibility for prisons, probation and sentencing), once stated that the “only way of dealing” with ISIS jihadis “will be, in almost every case, to kill them.” While many Westerners have fallen into the trap of believing that Western women who join the Islamic State are “victims who’ve been groomed or seduced by men. They’re committed jihadis in their own right,” and have willingly assisted the Islamic State in committing the most heinous crimes.
The larger question is: do Westerners such as Bain really think that jihadists will tell them the truth?
“2 Canadian women with children surrender to U.S.-backed forces in ISIS-held Syrian territory,” by Shanifa Nasser, CBC, February 8, 2019:
Two Canadian women who had been living in ISIS-held territory with their children have surrendered to U.S.-backed forces in Syria, according to the head of a non-profit organization that urged them to turn themselves in.
Alexandra Bain, director of Families Against Violent Extremism (FAVE), told CBC News that one of the women, a mother with two children, contacted her over the weekend from the city of Baghuz as Syrian Democratic Forces approached the area.
Baghuz, in eastern Syria near the Iraq border, is one of the last remaining pieces of land under the grip of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
Global Affairs Canada said in an email statement to CBC News that it is “aware of Canadian citizens being detained in Syria,” but its ability to provide consular assistance is “extremely limited” given the security situation on the ground.
“Canadian diplomats have established a communication channel with local Kurdish authorities in order to verify the whereabouts and well-being of Canadian citizens,” said government spokesperson Richard Walker.
Bain, speaking on the phone from Fredericton, said the woman who contacted her said she was with a second Canadian woman who also has two children.
CBC News has been unable to independently verify the identities of the two women and their children.
FAVE, which works with families whose members have been exposed to or joined violent extremist groups overseas, says there may be as many as 27 Canadians being held in Kurdish-controlled areas of Syria.
‘Her final chance’
Bain said that over the course of her exchanges with the Canadian woman — conducted with a messaging service over a spotty internet connection — she learned the woman had virtually no idea about the dangerous political situation around her.Bain described the woman as “uncertain” and “afraid.”
Initially, the woman said she intended to walk to the nearest camp in Iraqi territory, said Bain, but she advised against it, saying many children had lost their lives on that cold walk and she would likely face punishment by death if apprehended by Iraqi forces.
Instead, Bain encouraged the woman to approach a Kurdish militia vehicle that would take her to Al Hol, a displacement camp in northeastern Syria — advice the Canadian woman heeded.
“She said she had been trying for the past seven months to escape ISIS with her children … I guess she saw it as her final chance,” Bain told CBC News by phone……

These ISIS women and children should be handed over to the local survivors that escaped their husbands attempts of genocide. That would be justice.

Why are women constantly bein touted as bein equal or superior to men EXCEPT when they make bad decisions. Then they are hapless little creatures who need protected and nurtured. Let them and their children stay in Syria under whatever conditions the Syrians dictate!

Choices have consequences you choose to travel halfway around the world as a grown women and work with known terrorist. You reject your country ,your country,s laws and choose to fight against your country with a foreign army you are a traitor and should be shot. Your children should be put into some kind of foster care deprograming. What part of the definition of traitor do these bleeding hearts, progressive ,SJW ,libtard useful idiots do they not understand? Bring them back to Canada so they can do more jihad by milking the welfare system ,or perform acts of violent ,or support the actions of jihad of other members of the death cult of Islam or convert others .They are goods damage beyond repair ,they will try to spread the disease of Islam anywhere they go. As a person of free will if I hang out with drug dealers, murders, thieves , rapist, socializing in North America with them knowing full well what they do I have a complaint when I get arrest with them in a raid at there club? They are travel halfway around the world to live and hang out with jihadist ,if all they did was cook ,clean lived as husband and wife ,they still support the jihadist actions being there .I find it hard to believe they did not take some violent jihadist action against the civilian population there.

Our biggest problem is not the jihadis; we have proven strategies for dealing with them. Our biggest problem is people like Bain. Such people would open the city gates to the Turks massed outside because their pea sized brains tell them it’s the right thing to do. Our job is to protect the city, its gates and walls from such people (like throwing them to the Turks).

Their pea-sized brains tell them it’s the right thing to do because Christianity values useless pity over righteous anger, and pretends our emotions are morals.

Canada: Women surrender in Islamic State territory, presented as victims who should be brought home

Suicidal insanity if Canadians buy this.

Somehow they had the means and the fortitude to travel to Syria. It wasn’t as if they were forced into a car and driven across a state line.
It doesn’t seem Canadian citizenship meant much to them.
