Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Delta pilot says “Islamophobia” propagandist Khaled Beydoun is lying in attack complaint, played the “race card”

Feb 13, 2019 11:00 am By Robert Spencer

The police report states: “Timothy stated Khaled pulled the ‘race card.’…I asked Timothy if he touched Khaled which he stated no he is lying.” Also, “Khaled said he was waiting to speak to the pilot in the isle [sic] and the pilot pulled him by his jacket and told him to come here. Khaled stated first it was battery, second it was an assault, and third it was condescending because he was 40 years old…..Khaled refused any type of prosecution for assault.”

If the pilot really grabbed Beydoun by his neck, as Beydoun claimed on Twitter, that’s assault. Why not press charges?

Anyway, here we have a professor of “Islamophobia” accused of playing the “race card” when he was bumped from first class. I’ve been bumped from first class for exactly the same reason that he was bumped. Was that a noble flight attendant strike against “Islamophobia”? One would have to be peculiarly self-obsessed and self-important to think that these kinds of incidents are directed at oneself personally.

Whose version is more plausible? On the one hand we have an “Islamophobia” propagandist claiming he was bumped from first class because of “Islamophobia,” and then assaulted by an “Islamophobic” Delta captain, to whom the police spoke first when they arrived, because of, you guessed it, “Islamophobia.” Despite being assaulted, the “Islamophobia” victim refuses to press charges.

Then on the other hand we have a Delta captain saying that the “Islamophobia” propagandist played the “race card” in complaining about being bumped from first class, and further stating that the propagandist lied in saying that the captain had assaulted him.

Which version is more plausible?

People will see what they want to see here, but there are so many fake “Islamophobic” hate crimes, it isn’t hard to believe that Khaled Beydoun is a fantasist as well as a crusader (ha) against a fictional evil.

An update on this story. “Passenger complains about Delta pilot after landing at XNA, sees racial profiling,” by Max Brantley, Arkansas Times, February 11, 2019:

Khaled Beydoun, a law professor, civil rights activist and author of a book on Islamaphobia, has stirred wide interest on Twitter with his account of treatment by the pilot of a regional jet after landing Sunday evening at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.

Beydoun, who I’ve been unable to reach, has written in multiple posts on Twitter that the pilot put his hands on him and treated him “like a criminal” when he tried to talk to him about a complaint. Beydoun’s complaint, which he didn’t specify on Twitter, apparently stemmed from his reassignment from a business class seat to a seat in the plane’s “comfort class,” which has extra legroom but not as much space as the first cabin. Beydoun suggested he may have been reassigned because of race and his Muslim religion. He wrote in one of the Twitter posts:

I know that Flying While Brown has always been a concern. But now Landing While Brown is also frightening.

Beydoun, 40, was flying on a Delta flight in a 76-seat regional jet operated by Endeavor Air. He’d apparently been upgraded from a main cabin ticket to 1C through a frequent flyer perk, but learned in boarding that he wouldn’t be allowed to take the seat. The airline says the seat had to be taken by a flight attendant under aircraft operating rules because the jumpseat the attendant normally would use was inoperable. Beydoun objected and suggested he was being racially or religiously profiled. The airline attendant denied that.

The encounter with the pilot came as Beydoun waited on the jet bridge for his bag at the Arkansas airport. He wrote that the pilot directed him to come to him and grabbed him by the neck. The pilot disputed any physical contact, both in a report taken by airport police and in a prepared Delta statement.

For more background, here’s a portion of Beydoun’s Twitter thread.  Also, here’s the extensive XNA police report narrative, in which the pilot, Timothy Hovelsrud, in the course of denying physical contact, also is quoted as saying Beydoun “played the race card.” Also here’s Delta’s prepared statement:

“Delta is aware of the allegations and we are investigating. Based upon the information available to us at this time we understand the following:

A customer on Endeavor Air flight 5325 was reseated from seat 1C to 5B to accommodate a working crewmember in seat 1C due to an inoperative jump seat, as is required by Endeavor’s standard operating procedures. We regret that the customer perceived the seat change was anything but procedural. Prior to departure, Delta apologized to the customer for the seat change and provided a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience.

Upon arrival at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) the customer requested to speak with the Captain regarding his seating concerns. The Captain spoke with the customer in the jet bridge but ultimately requested the presence of law enforcement in response to false allegations of physical contact. We take any such allegations seriously and Delta is in contact with the customer.

There are several threads of comments on Beydoun’s Twitter account with more on the incident….

His posts have prompted thousands of responses, many sympathetic and some derogatory about Arkansas and the South. The Clinton National Airport posted on Twitter to make clear the episode hadn’t happened in Little Rock.

What a smugnorant look this jihad supremacist Khaled Beydoun has.
Where is his shame for the 60+ Christian Nigerians murdered by his fellow jihadists last week, just to name one example? Answer, he has none. He seeks power through violence and treachery. He and his Islamist criminals are the ultimate blasphemers.

The captain or the first officer is not responsible for the seating in the cabins. It is ridiculous to report such a matter to the Captain. It should be referred to the airline customer service department. As frequent flyer he knows that very well

No; it’s not, when the passenger refuses to cooperate for any given reason. My Dad was called out to deal with passengers on numerous occasions, for a variety of reasons but weren’t cooperating with the cabin crew, both as a co-pilot and flight captain, over the years of his career. What is presented here as the reason is not any kind of racism/islamophobia; it’s a procedure in place for passenger SAFETY, should a crisis occur. They don’t ground a flight for a broken jump seat, but 1 of the flight crew has to be near the forward hatch; that seat is evidently the one on that particular plane.

Sandra, BC meant that there was no reason for Khaled Beydoun to report an issue with seating to the captain.

More likely there were rumors that the schools at which he “teaches” that his “courses” were to be dropped. To show that Islamophobia was real, voila, the very teacher of these fraudulent courses suddenly experienced that phobia for real.

So a muslim author of a book on “islamophobia” finds a convenient excuse by inventing an example of “islamophobia”.A law professor of course:the perfect cover.

Khaled Beytoun twists and contorts reality to come out a VICTIM EVERY TIME. This is a case of taqiyya and perhaps of tawriyya. Beytoun pretends not know that JIHAD IN THE SKIES is one of the preferred techniques of jihadists for terrorizing the filthy kufaar. Allah made the kufaar so that Muslims could trick, betray, enslave and kill them.

The authoritative Hans Wehr Arabic-English Dictionary defines tawriya as, “hiding, concealment; dissemblance, dissimulation, hypocrisy; equivocation, ambiguity, double-entendre, allusion.” Conjugates of the trilateral root of the word, w-r-y, appear in the Quran in the context of hiding or concealing something (e.g., 5:31, 7:26).

As a doctrine, “double-entendre” best describes tawriya’s function. According to past and present Muslim scholars (several documented below), tawriya is when a speaker says something that means one thing to the listener, though the speaker means something else, and his words technically support this alternate meaning.

To put the show on the other foot, I wonder if Khaled Beytoun recognized a jihadist sitting near the cockpit door … would he be alarmed or would he wait to be blown to bits?

I really do think Muslims would be more comfortable living among fellow Muslims in Muslim-majority countries, flying only on Muslim-owned airlines, doing business only with fellow Muslims, etc., etc. We should insist upon it.

Of course that would make it impossible for them to pursue the real goal behind the endless bitching, whining, complaining, & lying — the gradual subjugation of infidels in the West. But that should never have been a possibility in the first place.

Indeed. I listen to air traffic control tapes online for fun. Sometimes a Muslim pilot (Saudia Airlines, etc.) gets belligerent and irritated when he gets close to JFK and he has to take directions from a FEMALE air traffic controller. If he doesn’t want to take directions from a woman, he should turn around and go home. My best friend jokes that a female controller encountering a Muslim pilot should just pitch her voice lower and tell him she’s a man.

The “goodwill gesture” may have been a slap in the face, but that doesn’t make it Islamophobic. Non-Muslims don’t have the luxury of playing the “Islamophobia” card. They have to complain through the regular channels until they are fully compensated. If I were bumped, I would ask for the “cost” of my upgrade to be refunded to me in full. And a meal and a glass of wine . Safety is safety, fair’s fair, and unforeseen things happen.

It happen after landing he wanted to “talk to the captain in private” he even had someone get and carry his carry on to him as he talk to the captain. Everyone must submitted to him in some way or another. He even questioned the police why they spoke to the captain first ,most police now have department cameras that tape interviews with anyone they interact with to protect police officers from false charges of misconduct. If the officers did not record the interview Beydoun I am sure would accuse them of something just to build another case of bias.

IMO an airline passenger wearing traditional Arab garb should not even be allowed to get on a plane. There are too many places to hide explosives plus the voluminous fabric could hinder an emergency evacuation.. We’ve all seen the nonsensical Halloween garments so there is no further need to continue to try to impress us with this silly way of dressing.
