This isn’t why she withdrew, as far as I know, but the Huffington Post adds this: “She was also linked to blogger Robert Spencer, a prominent anti-Muslim activist who is banned from entering the UK.”
My “link” to Heather Nauert consists solely of being part of a panel she interviewed on Fox News over a decade ago, but the key point here is that the Huffington Post thinks this tenuous “link” will make Nauert look bad. Seventeen years after 9/11, the establishment media thinks it’s a great stigma to oppose jihad mass murder and Sharia oppression of women, gays, and others. The Huffington Post repeats the claim that this makes one “anti-Muslim,” as if opposing the Nazis made one “anti-German.”
Note also the mention of my being banned from the UK. This is another common tactic of Leftist propagandists: target someone for defamation, and if the defamation campaign succeeds, use that success as evidence that there really is something wrong with the target. Their defamation builds upon itself.
“Heather Nauert Withdraws From UN Ambassador Consideration In Wake Of Reported Nanny Issue,” by Mary Papenfuss, Huffington Post, February 16, 2019:
Former Fox News host and State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert withdrew Saturday from consideration as UN ambassador in the wake of information that she had employed an immigrant nanny who wasn’t legally allowed to work in the U.S., sources told Bloomberg.
Nauert’s statement on her decision concerning the UN post made no mention of the nanny issue. She reportedly employed the nanny at some period in the past. But such a situation would have been particularly troublesome for President Donald Trump after he just declared a national emergency over immigration across the southern border on Friday.
The nanny news would have emerged after the disturbing firings last month of a dozen undocumented immigrants who had worked for years at the Trump National Golf Club in New York’s Westchester County.
“I am grateful to President Trump and Secretary [Mike] Pompeo for the trust they placed in me for considering me for the position of US Ambassador to the United Nation,” Nauert said in a statement Saturday issued by the State Department. “However, the past two months have been grueling for my family and therefore it is in the best interest of my family that I withdraw my name from consideration.”
Nauert was a controversial pick for the UN job because of her inexperience and troubling comments about Muslims. She mocked Muslims in a 2016 tweet that linked to a New York Times story about Muslims’ concerns over then-presidential candidate Trump. “They should meet ISIS,” she wrote sarcastically. She was also linked to blogger Robert Spencer, a prominent anti-Muslim activist who is banned from entering the UK….

Sorry but no one reads the Puffington Ho and takes it seriously. It is fake news, just like CNN, NYT etc etc.
As bad as reading Stephen Hawking’s supposed ‘science’.

Controversial? Moslem fascism with its attendant barbarism is accepted by Low IQ leftists as legitimate.
I doubt the Puffington Ho has published one single real news item on the Moslem destruction of Christianity; its sex trafficking and targeting of young white girls in the UK and elsewhere; its 15 million black slaves; its insane intolerance in the guise of the Nation of Islam etc etc
Puff ho, more fake news blah blah.

lets put in Tim Scott. UN would have a hard time bashing him.

Seventeen Years After 9/11
The “go to smear” applied by corporate media propagandists on anyone willing to discuss Jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women, gays and non-Muslims, is a reiteration of the phony social justice infraction invented by the Muslim Brotherhood — “Islamophobia.”

According to the Huffington Post:
“Heather Nauert … linked to blogger Robert Spencer, a prominent anti-Muslim activist who is banned from entering the UK….”
The Huffington Post should have added that Robert Spencer is banned from the UK for simply speaking the truth about Islam.
Being linked to Robert Spencer, in reality, should be a major plus for a potential UN Ambassador candidate for the United States.
But we are living in a deranged world.

There is a concerted panic in the so-called media concerning anyone who might have strayed off the thought reservation anytime in the past. To appear on the same panel as Robert shows you have been exposed to some analytic thought concerning Islam. It does not mean that you accept the thought, simply that you sat and listened to it. That fact alone sends the entertainers posing as media reporters, and hack writers posing as print journalists into a frenzy.
James says
The Democrats have no problem at all with employing illegal immigrants. They try to arrange it so that they do not have to prove their immigrant status to get a job. That they want to attack Heather Nauert is just a tactic. They do not give a damn, if it were a Democrat candidate they would not say anything about it. We have so many illegals in America now, it would be hard not to come in contact with them. And the Democrats are the ones who make it easy for them to come, stay, keep coming. If they object they should support the wall and other measures against illegal immigration. Obviously they want more.

Sorry to see her cave.

But after Nikki Haley, she really paled. How about Tim Scott. UN would have a harder time bashing him.

I would love for Trump to nominate Ayaan Hirsi Ali as U.S. Ambassador to the UN—Leftists would LOVE her because she is….
>Black
>Female
>Immigrant born in Somalia
>Atheist
But, they will HATE her because she is–
>Muslim apostate
>A true feminist who champions women’s rights for Muslim women
>Praises Judeo-Christian Western Civilization values
>Victim of FGM
Such a dilemma for the Leftist-Islamic axis of evil.
