No surprise here.
The Qur’an contains numerous condemnations of homosexual activity: “And Lot when he said to his people, ‘Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds? Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people.’…And We rained upon them a rain of stones. Then see how was the end of the criminals.” (Qur’an 7:80-84)
Muhammad specifies the punishment for this in a hadith: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.’” (Sunan Abu Dawud 4462)
Will gay rights advocates say a word about this? Of course not. It has long been established that in the hierarchy of politically correct causes, Islam trumps gay rights. When AFDI ran ads highlighting the mistreatment of gays in Islamic law, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors issued a resolution condemning not that mistreatment, but our ads. Gay advocates such as Theresa Sparks and Chris Stedman attacked us for daring to call attention to the institutionalized mistreatment of gays under Islamic law. It was that, or risk not being invited to the best parties.
But why does Instagram so readily submit?
“Instagram deletes gay Muslim comic strip after Indonesia outrage,” AFP, February 13, 2019 (thanks to Vikram):
JAKARTA: Instagram on Wednesday (Feb 13) shut down an account that published comic strips about the struggles of a gay Muslim in Indonesia after it sparked a backlash in the world’s biggest Islamic nation.
The move comes after Indonesia’s communications ministry sent a letter to the social media giant warning that the “pornographic” content violated an electronic information law.
The now-deleted account, which had about 6,000 followers, published a dozen posts depicting a gay Muslim man named Alpantuni who talked about discrimination and his life in a conservative family.
“My family is very religious. I have to pray five times a day, but I’ve got a secret,” the character said in one strip that has since been deleted.
“I’m very pious in front of others, but in private I’m gay.”
Homosexuality is not illegal in Indonesia – except in Aceh province under the region’s Islamic law – but a backlash against the vulnerable LGBT community is growing and same-sex relationships are widely frowned upon.
The comic strip sparked heated online debate with some conservatives branding it immoral.
“Please remove this account and put whoever runs it in prison – this is indecent,” one Instagram user wrote.
“It’s not only blaspheming Islam but it is also destroying morality.”…

Gay Muslim comic strips are quite amusing until the Muslims object them. Then everyone has to drop whatever they are doing and rush to censor the comic strips in the interests of the dominant religion.

Another case of Muslims demanding that infidels jump, and dhimmi tools asking “how high”? *Ugh*

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Google are hiring foreign students to censor their platforms. Many of them are not friendly to Americans and may actually be hostile to Americans, to American values and to the entire democratic system.
If the government does not intervene to enforce freedom of expression on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Google, then the people must boycott all these platforms to take away their revenues. A massive boycott by free speech advocates will destroy them quickly. They will not be able to pay their employees.
