When is the Pope going to boost Christianity?
And if this school to train moderate imams is so successful, why do so many Islamic State jihadis come from Morocco?
Pope Francis last year met in the Vatican with Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, the secretary general of the Muslim World League (MWL), a group that has been linked to the financing of jihad terror.
During the meeting, al-Issa thanked the Pope for his “fair positions” on what he called the “false claims that link extremism and violence to Islam.” In other words, he thanked the Pope for dissembling about the motivating ideology of jihad terror, which his group has been accused of financing, and for defaming other religions in an effort to whitewash Islam.
Also, Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Cairo’s al-Azhar, thanked the Pope for his “defense of Islam against the accusation of violence and terrorism.”
Has any other Pope of Rome in the history of Christianity ever been heralded as a “defender of Islam”? Shouldn’t he instead be defending the Christians who are being persecuted in Muslim countries?
“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)
“Pope to visit Moroccan imam school to boost moderate Islam,” Associated Press, February 10, 2019:
VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis will meet with migrants in Morocco and visit a training institute for imams that seeks to be a bulwark against Islamic extremism during his March 30-31 visit to the North African nation….
During his visit, Francis will meet with King Mohammed VI as well as the country’s priests and religious sisters and celebrate Mass for the Catholic community. His meeting with migrants will take place at the Vatican’s Caritas charity. Francis is also planning a visit to a social center outside Rabat….
The imam training institute, named for the king, draws Moroccan, sub-Saharan and European preachers. Opened in 2015, it now receives over 700 students a year and is part of government efforts that began in 2004 to counter terrorism and fundamentalist Islam.
Still, Moroccans have made up an unusually large number of Islamic State fighters. The government for decades has sought to supervise the religious teachings of its communities abroad, where some of the Moroccan-born foreign fighters were radicalized.

His real reason….to be an imam. he is certainly not doing the job of a Christian shepherd. He is more like an imam, screaming for the “rights” of moslims and blaming Christians for the carnage being heaped upon them as victims of moslims bloodlust. The terrorists’ hands are bloody and so is this guy’s.
James Lincoln says
somehistory,
I think that you are onto something…
Pope Francis spends more time defending Islam then he does promoting Christianity.
And to think, back in the day, I was once a proud Catholic.
somehistory says
James Lincoln,
Jesus Christ said that a person speaks what is in his/her heart. “For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.”
When the pope speaks, ti’s all about how wonderful islam is, how peaceful moslims are, how deserving. When he speaks of Christians, he complains about how, according to him, none are living up to their responsibility of being hospitable, or sharing, of showing love and even respect for those who hate and wish to kill us. Showing respect and hospitality to those who wish us nothing but harm, is not a teaching of Jesus Christ.
What he says is very much what moslims say. We must take him at his word, not his pretense.
I have friends who were once Catholic, but are no more, while retaining their faith in Christ.
James Lincoln says
somehistory,
Excellent analysis – my compliments.
On a personal note, I still retain my faith in Christ.
somehistory says
James Lincoln,
Thank you very much.
And I’m glad to hear it A relationship of faith does not need an outside person. Jesus said He Only is between a man ( or woman) and God, and exhorted us to “Have faith in the Father; have faith also in me.” Humans may let us down. Almighty God and His Son never will.

This Pope should be deposed for aiding and abetting the enemies of Christ.

Pope Francis, the Islamic fan boy.

A 2 minutes crash course for the training institute in Morocco:
Muhammad said: “The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise.” The Prophet’s companions asked: “Not even you?” The Prophet replied: “Not even myself, unless God bestows His favor and mercy on me.
So be moderate in your religious deeds and do what is within your ability. None of you should wish for death, for if he is a doer of good, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to God.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 7, Hadith 577
The message is clear: ‘Moderates’ are doers of good, who do not wish for death. That should take care of extremist islamic jihadists?

Pope Francis to visit imam training institute in Morocco to boost moderate Islam
………………..
Like *this* “moderate” Imam?
“Terrorism in Europe: The Moroccan Connection”
https://www.washingtoninstitute.org/policy-analysis/view/terrorism-in-europe-the-moroccan-connection
The article lists several Jihad terror attack in Europe, then says this:
“…ideology seems to have been the dominant fuel for [the attacks], given that the terrorists were reportedly inspired by a local Moroccan-born imam who had developed ties to the Islamic State (IS) while maintaining regular contact with Morocco and with Moroccans abroad…”

“When is the Pope going to boost Christianity?”
Robert Spencer you keep hitting the nail on the head!
sidney penny says
Robert Spencer, as an expert on Islam, could you tell us what is the difference between moderate Islam and Islam.

There is no such thing as “moderate Islam”.
Jeremiah says
The Pope is not Catholic. Catholics read the Bible. The Pope does not. The Pope is stuck in the 17th century when the Jesuits were betraying Christians to Crusading Catholics for reading the Bible. We have moved on but the Pope has not. Read the Jesuit Pledge. The pledge is a precis of the Koran. It is all about deception and manipulation. Now that the churchgoers are declining in number and Islam is roaring like the Catholics of the 16th century, the Pope is looking for more relevance. Study also the history of the papacy and the worship of Lucifer at the Vatican. The Pope is not Catholic.
gravenimage says
Is this “Jesuit Pledge” from the 19th-century anti-Catholic screed “Subterranean Rome”–where Jesuits are supposedly told to lie to Catholics and murder “heretical” kings and to exterminate all Protestants–which oath they supposedly have to write in their own blood?
This stuff wound up in a lot of Jack Chick comic book tracts, promulgated by con artist Alberto Rivera.
You *do* realize that this is just a stupid conspiracy theory?
And no, Catholics do not worship Lucifer.
One can criticize the Pope for the foolish things he has *actually* done, without slinging around this ugly tripe.
Terry Gain says
The Pope is an idiot. But he is not as vile as you.
Ecosse1314 says
Oh dear…the lunatics have taken over the asylum. Lucifer?…oh dear. What a walloper
Rob Hay says
Islam was created by the Holy Roman Catholic Church to persecute and kill true Christians and Jews mainly. The web goes back to Ancient Egypt and the Fraternity between them is Freemasonary. It is all Babylonian, just outwardly masked to look different.
The Pope is simply trying to bring about peace between all the Religions that worship Satan. As a side note Niether Yahweh or Yahshua ever created a Religion, all Religions are man made and do not abide by what the Bible says.
Nice article.

What a lot of ugly claptrap.

Sure moron. Yours is one in a series of outrageous accusations completely unsupported by any evidence, like 9/11 was an inside job and the United States created ISIS.

This pope is as big a fraud as Obama – both came from no where and placed in powerful positions!
It’s the one world order, open border groups out to destroy everything they touch!
Beware of those bearing gifts and false prophets!
God bless and save us all! ????????

I could see Francis kissing Obama’s feet. Trying not to be disrespectful, but in a way they seem birds of a feather.

Pope thinks he can rescue Islam from Satan.
He should concentrate on enticing Muslims to convert to Christianity.
What a waste of a Pope.
