Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Turkey vows to “fight terrorism until the end”

Feb 6, 2019 8:00 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

“Turkish national defense minister on Saturday reiterated that Turkey continues its fight against terrorism.” By this, he does not mean Islamic jihad; he means those groups and people that Turkey deems to be “terrorist,” such as Israel, evangelical Christians, Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen, and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units. Unfortunately, many Western counterterror analysts will remain unaware of this and praise Turkey for its self-proclaimed efforts to fight terrorism.

Turkey itself is a state sponsor of jihad terror. Erdogan has been spreading the jihad ideology through a network of mosques and religious centers, and is also spreading the jihad ideology into South Asia “under the garb of relief.” Meanwhile, a 1915 law enacted to seize property of non-Muslims is still on the books and still being used.

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan refers to any opposition against him as “terrorism.” Take for example, the Kurds; Erdogan has been on a campaign to crush them. In January 2018, 90,000 mosques prayed Qur’anic conquest prayers calling on Muslims to be “ruthless against unbelievers” and for victory against the Kurds, right before thousands of Turkish soldiers were dispatched to “decimate” the Kurds.

Turkish Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen is another example. Gulen was in the past an ally of Erdogan, but the two had a falling out in 2013. The self-exiled Gulen, who now lives in Philadelphia, was blamed — along with his followers — by Erdogan for a 2016 “terrorist” apparent military coup attempt in Turkey in which 250 people were killed.

Turkey’s leaders have even called “evangelism an act of terrorism,” and Erdogan refers to Israel as a “terrorist state.”

The article below also refers to the PKK’s “30-year campaign against Turkey,” mentioned so as to justify Turkey’s so-called fight against “terrorism.”

The PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) has been a nightmare for Turkey, and although it is considered a terrorist organization by both Turkey and the U.S., its affiliate — the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) — is supported by the U.S., an obvious problem for Turkey and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkey’s Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, who vows to “fight terrorism until the end,” should be taken at his word, but he is not referring to the kind of “terrorism” that human rights-supporting Westerners have in mind.

“Turkey’s Defence minister vows to ‘fight terrorism until the end,’” Middle East Monitor, February 3, 2019:

Turkish national defence minister on Saturday reiterated that Turkey continues its fight against terrorism.

Turkey continues counter-terror efforts both in the field on an operational basis and at the table on diplomacy basis, Hulusi Akar said.

Akar’s remarks came during his meeting with commandos on ground zero at Turkish-Iraqi border.

Turkish Land Forces Commander Gen. Umit Dundar accompanied Akar during the meeting.

Akar said Turkey’s fight against terrorism and its supporters will continue until the end.

In its more than 30-year campaign against Turkey, the PKK – recognised as a terrorist group by Turkey, the US, and the EU….

Yeah, right, Turkey vows to exterminate the Kurds until there is no more Kurdish independence movement. They’ve talked like this before AND they followed through on it.

Genocidal talk is the predictor of real genocide.

So that would mean they would have to ignore and defy their “prophet” muhammed’s sunnah..

To fight islamic terrorism is to defy the 164 Jihad commands in the koran and Perfect mo’s example.

1,400 years of islamic terrorism and Erdogan finally grows a conscience??
Too late and.. it fools nobody.

If one wants to “fight terrorism until the end”, he has to denounce and to renounce islam. That is the only way to do it.

It’s all in the definition. To muslims being a non-believer is being a terrorist. The terrorism muslims di isn’t terrorism but “resistance”. So what else is new?

Erdogan is that kind of leader that will happily plunge a knife deep into the back of the next unsuspecting khafir standing next to him, with a wicked grin on his face and then boast about it at his local mosque during the wailing prayer time as his good deed for the day…

    ………………..

All true. Turkey itself is a sponsor of Jihad terror.
