“Czech authorities arrested a father-of-five and a woman at Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague” following an Austrian-issued European Arrest Warrant for the two. The two Iraqis are believed to be connected to an Islamic State terror cell in Europe.
Both attempted attacks involved derailing trains, one by sabotaging electrical lines and the other by fastening steel cables across tracks. Had it not been for a technical error in the latter attack, mass casualties could have resulted. One of the accused denied that the attacks had anything to do with jihad, but “writings in Arabic and an Islamic State flag near the crime scenes” revealed the motive. If they had not been found, the motive may have well been covered up by authorities “for the good of diversity.”
As Western authorities continue to push for open immigration, Westerners continue to be put at risk. “Germany is on alert following several jihadist attacks in recent years – the most deadly committed in by 23-year-old Tunisian Anis Amri, who killed 12 people when he stole a truck and smashed it through a Berlin Christmas market in 2016.”
An update on this story. “‘ISIS terror cell in Europe is foiled’: Two suspects are held in the Czech Republic days after an Iraqi was arrested in Austria for ‘trying to derail German trains,'” by Jack Elsom, Mailonline, March 28, 2019:
A suspected ISIS terror cell in Europe has been snared after two Iraqis wanted in connection for attacks on German trains were detained.
Czech authorities arrested a father-of-five and a woman at Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague today after Austria issued a European Arrest Warrant for the pair.
They are suspected of having fastened a steel cable across the tracks which run between Munich and Nuremberg which damaged the front window of a train in October last year.
Reinforced wooden wedges had also been placed on the track in the hope of derailing one of the trains.
It came months before a similar attack when an overhead electrical line was sabotaged in December, but luckily nobody was injured in either incident.
But Vienna prosecutors said that only a technical error prevented casualties and added that writings in Arabic and an Islamic State flag near the crime scenes established a suspected ‘terrorist’ motive.
Marketa Puci, spokeswoman for the Municipal Court in Prague, said the court had received a custody request from prosecutors, on which it has to decide within 24 hours.
Austrian Interior Minister Herbert Kickl told the country’s parliament that the two suspects ‘formed a cell’ together with another man suspected of involvement who was detained on Monday in Vienna.
This man has admitted involvement in both incidents but denied any terrorist motive for the crimes, which would carry a maximum life-long prison sentence.
Austrian and German authorities worked together leading to Monday’s arrest, according to criminal investigators in Germany’s southern state of Bavaria.

She got it wrong of course: Moslems think Germany belongs to Islam.
But that is something she doesn’t want to know.

They must see votes in it.

When this story first appeared here a few months ago, it was stated that an isis flag and some notes in arabic were found nearby where the failed attack took place.
To me, this was the action of a cell, but one that was not well-trained in sabotage; and/or thought they were about to be discovered and left before completing the actions necessary to derail the train. It was obvious that it was terrorism, even if they didn’t kill anyone. It was meant to kill. It was meant to terrorize. They left the flag and the notes in order to take “credit” for the terror.
This was part of my comment on that report:
Many “failed” efforts at terror have still yielded evidence of the perpetrators. When flags or pages of their plans or copies of their book are left behind, the terrorists are leaving before they expect the results of their actions to occur.
If one plants an explosive device, they don’t stick around for it to go off unless they wish to die. But if they wished to “brag” about it, they might leave the flag or other identifying debris when they ran, expecting these to be found by the investigators.
So there is no surprise that a cell has been identified, but glad they found these guys responsible.

Well….part of the concern about Islam and modern society is that it all seems like a runaway train.

Two more Muslims arrested for attacks on German trains, Islamic State cell uncovered
………………
I can’t even be shocked by these stories any more. Just glad they were stopped in time.
Rufolino says
But naturally, these uncovered jihadi plots receive almost no publicity from the msm, such plots don’t fit the media’s agenda..
abad says
Deport them and their associates all the way back to Iraq.
Fake News Media says
German Newspapers claimed “RightWingers” for the attack back in time!
They wrote like:Perhaps this was a Rightwing guy who wanted to blame Muslims before the elections…

What’s especially ironic to me as a German (and living in Germany) is the fact that it was the Czech police – and not the German police – who arrested these terrorists.
At this point police and justice in my country are TOO AFRAID to investigate and act against Arabian criminal clans.
