Rejecting Islamic anti-Semitism and its normalization. This is good to see. Omar ought to be under fire for appearing for Hamas-linked CAIR. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. CAIR’s Hussam Ayloush in 2017 called for the overthrow of the U.S. government. CAIR’s national outreach manager is an open supporter of Hamas. But the Democrats wouldn’t dream of challenging her over this.
“Protesters in Woodland Hills Rally Outside Event Featuring Rep. Ilhan Omar,” Associated Press, March 23, 2019:
Hundreds of protesters rallied outside an event where a congresswoman spoke to a Muslim-American civil rights group.
The demonstrators were protesting the presence Saturday of U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota at the fundraising event for the Council of American-Islamic Relations of Greater Los Angeles….
The Los Angeles Daily News reports that the protesters lined a sidewalk area outside the Hilton hotel in Woodland Hills, waving Israeli flags. A smaller group of counter-protesters held up signs in support of Omar.

Hope you’re well. Aloha.

I hope you’re right.
And Aloha to you as well.

This woman needs to go. People who think she is representing America are fools. She is both an antisemite AND anti-Israel. She is not pro-Palestinian. No one is. Palestinians just come in handy as a weapon against Israel. Look at the civil war Britain is fighting to regain their country from Islamists. No Muslims in government. Ever.

Can anyone enlighten me?
1. Hatred of Islam does NOT equal hatred of all muslims but the terms are always conflated when it suits Islam, its supporters or ‘useful idiots’
2. ‘Islamophobia’–
phobia–noun
‘an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something’.
I am very much in fear of islam; this is rational & reasonable [see Koran]
3. Christchurch massacre– infidel outpouring of grief & support, acres of floral tributes, days of TV coverage. Question– why is this almost unknown for muslim [or Islamic] massacres???
This demonstration is long overdue & most welcome. How many YEARS passed before Barack Hussein Obama managed to say ‘Islamic terror???
jimjfox says
I meant ‘massacres committed by Islam’, of course…
elee says
I can help with the “phobia” part…….phobia is a simple Greek word for fear. Nothing limiting it to rational or irrational. Then the learned profession of psychology, following a couple millennia of western tradition, names various fears with the Greek words. This used to make sense, because it used to be that speakers of French or English or Swedish would customarily communicate in Latin or sometimes Greek. But to be a meaningful pathology, that “irrational” part had to creep in, because, well, rational fears don’t get addressed in modern psychology. And this gets imported into politics by people who have something to gain by sneakily characterizing, for example, all fear of Islam as irrational. It all sounds so impressive and intellectual when you take a simple word from someone else’s language, import some spurious connotation into it, and pretend that you’ve actually said something.
I am an Islamophobe. I fear Islam. I believe my fear is entirely rational, based on a millennium and a half of Islamic theology and application. You get to decide for yourself about this rational part. It’s a western cultural thing; you don’t get to decide that stuff is Islam, which is part of the reason why I believe my f

“Fear” is never rational. “Fear” is an emotion. It may or may not be reasonable (e.g. Fear of stepping on a crack in the sidewalk vs fear of an armed intruder) but it’s not something one “chooses” to have or not. It IS irrational, however, to legislate that people can’t hold any particular fear. Might as well legislate against diarrhea.
But “islamophobia” isn’t being used to define a particular fear but rather as “prejudice against muslims” much like antisemitism is prejudice against Jews. A misuse of the “phobia” part and so it can be a little misleading but the intent should be clear to anyone with an IQ over 60.

BTW. I AM islamophobic in the “scared of” sense. I feel it is unreasonable to be otherwise.

Amusing note here is all.
Mathew 10:28 Fear not that..
But rather FEAR ye him that …
Point in this speaks of terror of not man but of God. A very rational presentation for that argument as well.

Not in islam it doesn’t!

In islam HATE trumps love!
What a taqqiya-tongued liar is Omar! But of course, bearing FALSE WITNESS is a speciality of those who serve the muslim god allah ” the BEST of Deceivers” k3:54
So of course the CAIR audience will happily applaud the lies they know they hear.
islam is based on lies:a false god,a false “prophet”,a false scripture..no wonder they clap when Omar speaks.
“Standing up for what is right is very inherently islamic” she brags.
Does that include fighting against FGM for little muslim girls,Modern Slavery in the islamic world, islamic terrorism, the Muslim Brotherhood subversion, islamic antisemitism, anti Israel…?
“Justice for all”?Does that include persecuted minorities in the islamic world?
And a Country that is “Violating basic human rights”…how about..SOMALIA??
IRONIC…..indeed…
Those little girls subjected to the abomination of FGM in Somalia:are they not victims of having their basic human rights violated by the islamic culture Omar is so boastful about?

No Congressman, none of that is ironic. You were elected in a democratic country that has been formed by judeochristian values. You were not elected in a Muslim country.

Something has gone horribly wrong with immigration in the USA.
The old model of respect for the indigenous culture and assimilation into it, is dead.
Instead, we are now importing foreign hatreds, including hatred of the USA.
This from people, many of whom were brought here entirely at US taxpayer expense and supported on public assistance for decades.
This is not sustainable.
