“Iceland made its pick to represent the country at the upcoming Eurovision song contest, choosing the punk techno-band Hatari” which is overtly pro-Palestinian, anti-capitalist and “themes its performances on bondage, domination, and sadomasochism.”
The choice of this band is telling about what Iceland is sinking further into. Recall the poisoning of Robert Spencer in Iceland, with no adequate followup. Remember also the nagging of the Canadian Government by a small socialist-leaning Icelandic publication that claimed I was “racist” while serving on the Canadian Race Relations Foundation because of my “Warning to Icelanders” about stealth jihadists who fool Westerners about being “moderate.”
Now comes this news, that Iceland has chosen an “anti-capitalist, pro-Palestine, sadomasochistic punk techno-band” to represent it in Eurovision. This is no surprise.
“The group won the local selection contest with its song ‘Hatrid Mun Sigma’, Icelandic for ‘Hatred will prevail,'” and “band members spoke of their strong identity with the Palestinian cause.” That’s fitting. Hatred is at the foundation of the Palestinian cause. It is a matter of public record that the Palestinian cause involves the desire to obliterate Israel “from the River to the Sea,” in accordance with the PLO Charter.
The trends in Iceland need to be watched; it is the European country closest to the North American continent, and is being overtaken by Socialists and Islamic supremacist sympathizers.
Some years ago, the previous President of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, expressed fears that a Saudi-funded mosque in Reykjavík would “fuel Muslim extremism in Iceland.” He certainly had reason to be concerned. An unsavory imam in Iceland, Ahmad Sedeeq, with whom I had a clash during my speech there when he denied that there were stonings in any Muslim countries, has also denied that the deadly London Bridge jihad attacks were real. He brazenly claimed that they were staged. Sedeeq is dangerous and deceptive, presenting himself as “moderate,” and represents trouble in the future for Iceland. And Iceland’s response to Sedeeqis the likes of Hatari.
Yet there may be still hope for Iceland, given the fact that there are still some sensible people there:
The band has sparked a lot of controversy and even deep hate among people who believe that they’re an unhealthy role model for today’s youth and that they’re only doing this to promote themselves and will put Iceland to shame.

The group won the local selection contest with its song “Hatrid Mun Sigma”, Icelandic for “Hatred will prevail” and will now go on to compete in the semifinals scheduled for May 16, in Israel.
In a February interview with Iceland’s biweekly Stundin newspaper, band members spoke of their strong identity with the Palestinian cause, saying they felt it was their duty to use the song contest as a platform to broadcast their views.
Under the terms of the contest, participants are prohibited from making political statements at the event.
The band said it would nonetheless participate in order to take its message to as many people as possible in Europe.
Asked about the ban on political activity and the possibility that they would be disqualified if they plan a stage protest, members retorted that they see Eurovision as a political contest and even more so now it is being held in Israel……
