Welcome to the new, multicultural Netherlands. This is a direct result of mass Muslim migration into Europe. Nor will these converts be able to rest easy anytime soon. The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)
A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.
This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”
Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”
“Muslim-turned-Christian refugees in the Netherlands face threats,” by Sjoukje Dijkstra, Crux, March 14, 2019:
Christian relief organizations in the Netherlands recently raised the alarm about the fact that Christian refugees in the country are being threatened or bullied on a regular basis, especially when they used to be Muslim. Three of these refugees were willing to share their story.
Faradoun Fouad: ‘I’m still getting threats every single day’
Faraidoun Fouad fled Kurdistan in northern Iraq. Once safely arrived in the Netherlands, he came into contact with Christianity.
“I converted in 1999,” he said. “In 2002 God called me to reach out to my own people. Directly after my conversion to Christianity I received the first threats. People who I thought were my friends, became my enemies.”…
“Even Muslims who are not very conservative told my wife that they would kill me,” Fouad said….
Even though he has been a Christian for twenty years and is married to a Dutch woman, he still gets threatened. Still, he cannot stop evangelizing.
“I receive threats every day. When I post something on Facebook, I often receive hateful reactions,” Fouad said.
Sometimes they call him, sometimes they text him. He has reported the threats to the police several times….
Esther Mulder: ‘My father told me I am no longer his daughter’
Esther Mulder used to be Muslim. In 1992 she fled Somalia together with her family and came to the Netherlands. At the age of fourteen her parents decided to marry her off. Mulder fled the house and lived on the streets for two years, going from one shelter to another. She married a Dutch man and came into contact with the Church through a friend.
She remembers the first time she came to church like it was yesterday: “I immediately felt welcome.”
At the same time, she felt guilty for even being in a church.
“I constantly looked around thinking: ‘What if one of my family members comes in or someone from Somalia?’…
“After my conversion, the threats started. Especially on Facebook. Most of the time they’re coming from other Somalis,” said Mulder. “They write to me in Somali, so no one else is able to understand what they’re saying. We once posted a picture of a Somali conference where everyone was standing in front of a cross. People didn’t like it and we received several threats. I was really sorry about that.”…
Still, it isn’t as it should be: “When I’m there, my father leaves the house,” she said. “The last thing he ever said to me, is that I’m no longer his daughter.”…
Brother Jassim: ‘I went to the police with eight pages full of threats’
Brother Jassim is originally from Morocco. He didn’t want to use his last name.
“My family lives in Morocco and could get in trouble over this,” he said.
He talks about his faith on his website as well as on YouTube. He used to do the same on Facebook until he got blocked. He said it happened because there are people wanting to silence him.
People call him names in public, but it doesn’t bother him. He said he feels freed since his conversion.
“In 2015 I became a Christian. I was baptized on April 24, 2016, on my birthday,” Jassim said…
“My mother taught me to respect everyone and to be kind. That was in stark contrast to what Islam was teaching me. I had to hate and curse Jews and Christians. Muhammed was my big role model, but his life was bad. He killed Jews and married a girl of six. How could he be my role model?”…
“I finally found peace in my heart, and now I’m honestly happy. I’m now also praying for my family members who are Muslim. When I was a Muslim myself, I wasn’t allowed to pray for my Christian partner or for my atheist friend.”
He printed out eight pages full of threats and took these to the police. Still, Jassim keeps on telling people about his faith. “The police advised me to delete my picture from my website. I prayed about it and the Lord told me to keep the picture, ‘for you belong to me.’ It’s strange isn’t it: I’m not doing anything wrong, why would I need to hide? I live in a free country.”
According to Jassim, he gets threatened especially because he is an ex-Muslim. “You’re seen as a heretic.”…

MUSLIMS WHO ARE PIOUS BELIEVERS IN ISLAM ARE WALKING TIME BOMBS because …
14 passages in the Koran refer disparagingly to apostasy:
– e.g. “They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.” – K. 4: 88-89
The killer of an apostate is not punished … but rewarded:
– Reliance of the Traveller (manual of Sharia law), ref. O8.4 : “There is no indemnity for killing an apostate (O: or any expiation, since it is killing someone who deserves to die).”
– Reliance of the Traveller: O1.2 – “The following are not subject to retaliation: -3- a Jewish or Christian subject of the Islamic state for killing an apostate from Islam (O: because a subject of the state is under its protection, while killing an apostate from Islam is without consequences)”
– According to Baidhawi’s commentary, Sura 4: 88-89 means: “Whosoever turns back from his belief, openly or secretly, take him and kill him wheresoever ye find him, like any other infidel. Separate yourself from him altogether. Do not accept intercession in his regard.”
– A hadith about Mohammed’s followers used as a basis of Sharia, tells of some atheists who were brought to “’Ali and he burnt them. The news of this reached Ibn Abbas who said: ‘If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah’s Apostate forbade it . . . I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah’s Apostate, ‘Whoever changed his [Islamic] religion, then kill him’.”
– A hadith in which Mohammed commands the killing of apostates, and promises eternal rewards for doing so: “When I relate to you the words of Mohammed, by Allah, I would rather die than bear false witness to his teachings. However, if I should say something unrelated to the prophet, then it might very well be a lie so that I might deceive my enemy. Without question, I heard Mohammed say, “In the final days before Redemption there will emerge groups of foolish youths who will say all the right things but their faith will go no further than their mouths and will flee from their religion like an arrow. So, kill the apostates wherever you find them, because whoever does so will be rewarded on Judgment Day.” -Sahih Bukhari 9,84,64
– Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned Muslim cleric of Egypt stated:
“The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them.

Ex-muslims often become authentic Christians because they have gone from the god of islam, allah “the best of deceivers” k3;54 to the Judeo-Christian Biblical God of Love, and they have a genuine and sincere belief:they also have found the wisdom to see the difference that has released them from tyranny
They have gone from the islamic doctrine of hate{al walaa wal baraa} to a Gospel of Love, from islamic “peace”{=violence} to sincere desire for actual peace.
Thus is allah:-
allah does not permit Final Penitence k4:18
allah does not subscribe to the 2nd chief commandment:he teaches the OPPOSITE in koran 5 v51{“Oh ye who believe!Take not the Jews and Christians for friends”}
So there is no “love thy neighbor” in islam .No getting along:in fact both of the 2 chief commandments{see Matthew chpt 22 “the whole of the law of Moses and the teachings of the prophets depend on these 2 laws”}seem to be MISSING in islam
allah’s Greatest Enemy is a man called MALIK AL AMLAK{Sahih muslim vol 5 hadith #5611…that’s a title reserved for only one man:Jesus Christ Revs 19v 16}
I suggest if muslims attack the Gospel and Bible they should be reminded of the fact that in koran 10:94 allah instructs muhammed to consult and question those who read “the scripture that was before thee”.In koran 5:46-47 allah even condemns those who attack it{since he claims to be the author of the Gospel:”whoso judgetth not by which allah hath revealed:such are evil rebels”
Since muslims MUST accept that allah wrote the Gospel..
On that basis muslims should listen to those who preach the…Bible..

FYI – good contrast of Islam and Christianity.
As you probably know, many Muslims say that Allah wrote the gospels, but also that Christians corrupted them. Dirty kaffirs !
And so the bible Christians use is a false version, the “originals” having been “lost” or destroyed, of course. Jesus was a muslim prophet, so they say, who will slay Christians when he returns.
Isn’t it interesting how they project on to Christians that of which they are guilty !
Wonder if the “originals” were in Arabic, and can only be fully understood in Arabic.
FYI says
muslims say the Bible was corrupted but they cannot prove it.
There is no evidence.
allah and language:-
“And if WE had appointed it a koran in a FOREIGN tongue they would have assuredly have said:if only its verses were expounded so that we might understand?
What! A FOREIGN TONGUE and an ARAB?”
koran 41 v 44
Yes,allah,it would have been both helpful and convenient if you knew OTHER languages wouldn’t it?..but then..”What!A foreign tongue and an Arab?”
So HEBREW would be a foreign tongue to allah..
The Torah we know is written in HEBREW.
Since allah claims that he personally gave the Torah to Moses k2:67 “And verily WE gave unto Moses the scripture” it would have to have been in Arabic as allah{or muhammed’s sock puppet}only relates to arabic.
So how did allah’s Arabic Torah become Hebrew:muslims will say..oh but the Jews corrupted it by writing it in their Jewish Tongue:Ridiculous!!
In Acts 2,the Coming of the Holy Spirit..we have
“They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to talk in OTHER LANGUAGES as the Spirit enabled them to speak” v 4..
“Yet all of us hear them speaking in their own languages about the great work God has done” v 11
So clearly the Actual Judeo-Christian Biblical God is a POLYGLOT who communicates in ALL known Languages which ultimately come from God.
Sad allah in contrast,is a linguistically-challenged god who can ONLY be understood through Arabic:that defeats the whole point of having a universal God for all mankind.
Instead,allah is an Arab,moslem only-god:pathetic!!

Very early scriptures have been found (e.g. the Qumran scrolls) and they prove the canonical Bible is quite accurate.

Ex-Muslim movements and individuals attempting to WAKE THE HYPNOTIZED LEFT as to the dangers of “Islam 1.0”, are likely the last “peaceful” bastions against otherwise inevitable balkanization/civil war.
There ARE groups out there. Ex-Muslims of North America is one fine example. But they’re also classified as “Islamophobic” by the Left and their propagandist media.
If it goes against “the narrative” (i.e. power/votes), even the truth is vilified.
Crazy times….

I’m convinced that ex-Muslims are key – perhaps the most important key – to waking people up, Muslims and non-Muslims alike. I believe they can be a powerful catalyst for a change for the better.
I’ve been reading and listening to a wide variety of former Muslims for several years now and I keep finding more to enjoy and learn from. Some lean left, some lean right, some are atheists, Christians, and a few have become Hindu or Buddhist. But they all have interesting and important stories to tell.
Listening to these people is the best way to get an inside look at life as a Muslim and what a particular Muslim believed, what lead that person to doubt, and the process of moving from Muslim to apostate and the aftermath. It makes the whole subject highly individuated and real and human while allowing you to see what these apostates have in common in their experience, both when they were Muslim and then after.
I see former Muslims, as a group, as a treasure trove in the cause of liberation from the prevailing delusions about Islam being a religion of peace, while at the same time showing a most important thing: how various Muslims have come to doubt Islam and then leave it.
These voices need to be widely heard.

These are very courageous people. I am curious what they heard about leaving Islam when in Mosque in Holland? Were the Imams constantly hammering away on this theme? They obviously face great danger from ‘friends and family’ and this also is a most interesting phenomena. How do families come to the apparently universal conclusion that conversion to another religion is so terrible? It is the process and the vehemence of the belied that is fascinating.
Terry Gain says
When family members convert the faith of other family members is rocked. This is not surprising given that Islam is obviously a fake religion. As Barry Goldwater might say: in their hearts they know they are wrong to remain Muslims.
Michael Copeland says
“Leaving Islam is the ugliest form of unbelief (kufr) and the worst”, :
“When a person … voluntarily apostatizes from Islam he deserves to be killed.”
The killing of an apostate can be carried out by anyone without penalty, “since it is killing someone who deserves to die”.

I understand the theology. And I know how absurd it is to call something like that ‘theology’. To us in the west such a belief is a blasphemy of sorts. What I don’t understand is how this is transmitted to the individual Muslim on an ongoing basis.
Terry Gain says
Muslims threaten family members who convert to Christianity. This is very sad but not surprising since the Koran prescribes the killing of apostates. The Koran cannot be rewritten since it is considered the word of God. The situation could be improved if the hundreds of millions who have left Islam but are afraid to go public decide to come out of the closet in the same manner as brave homosexuals did.

My question is this: how can an Imam, who is supposed to be a religious Islamic scholar, not quickly come to the same conclusion as Brother Jassim? It seems so obvious…

Because in Islam hating and cursing Infidels and apostates is a core part of the creed.

A great question. I think it is because, from where they are coming from, thinking this way is normative. This is their culture. They have never heard anything else. It demonstrates the power of education. Garbage in garbage out. Which begs another question: How do you deal with people who are so screwed up, who have been educated to believe everything we base our society on is wrong and they are right?

These people have come out of the darkness and found out that the words of Jesus Christ are so true. He helps His disciples carry their loads, bear their burdens, and His “yoke” is one softened with His abundant love. Not even persecution and the threat of death can change those things.

On another topic I posted a comment in which I used the word “betrayed” to describe the act of a Christian or Jew who changed his religion to become a Muslim. After reading this story and giving what I wrote some more thought I think I erred in the way I worded my comment. The only time a betrayal takes place when it comes to changing religion is when a person changes his religion out of a desire for higher status in life or because of a lack of will to resist pressure from others. When a person changes his religion for one of those reasons or even if he remains in his current religion for one of those reasons, the person involved betrays nothing and no one other than himself. But … since Muhammad considered himself the center of the known universe and the perfect example for mankind, I’m sure he could perceive rejection of his religion as nothing less than the most egregious personal insult of all … requiring nothing less than death. Yeah sure, there is no compulsion in religion BUT kill all those who change their religion from Islam. Oh, is that Muhammad being true to himself?

Muslims go to places where their system of life does not harmonize.
Yet they insist on doing so, to spread their dread. How unsettling!
All about maximizing their Dar al Islam in areas they designated as Dar al Harb.

is a concept in Islam, literally “loyalty and disavowal”,
which signifies loving and hating for the sake of Allah.

This part is very, very telling. Make a copy of this article, and highlight this quote. And the next time someone you know starts waffling on about how they know this lovely sweet Muslim who is just so modern and moderate and peaceful, tell them: that nice Muslim might not be so nice if their sister/ brother/ daughter/ son/ cousin left Islam and became a Christian or an atheist. They might even try to *kill* that person who has left Islam.
