Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Pennsylvania: State Dems call Christian prayer “bigoted,” applaud Qur’an reading at state House session

Mar 28, 2019 4:00 pm By Robert Spencer

“State Rep. Jason Dawkins, another Muslim lawmaker, opened the session Tuesday by reading from the Quran, prompting applause in the chamber.” The favored religion on the Left is one that has moved some of its adherents to wage war against the West for 1,400 years, as The History of Jihad illustrates in detail. Is it just coincidence that the Left seems to oppose every counterterror and national security measure, and always to denigrate Judeo-Christian tradition while exalting Islam?

An update on this story. “Pennsylvania state Dems slam Republican’s prayer as ‘offensive,’ bigoted,” by Lukas Mikelionis, Fox News, March 27, 2019:

Pennsylvania state Democrats branded as “offensive” a Republican’s decision Monday to open a voting session with a prayer and a thank-you to President Trump for supporting Israel, with some Dems claiming to be “horrified” by the remarks and accusing the female lawmaker of Islamophobia.

State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz, a Republican and associate pastor’s wife who was elected to the state House in November, was accused of bigotry after she invoked the name of Jesus at least 13 times just before the Legislature swore in its first Muslim woman at the Statehouse in Harrisburg.

“God forgive us — Jesus — we’ve lost sight of you, we’ve forgotten you, God, in our country, and we’re asking you to forgive us,” Borowicz said added. She then praised President Trump for his support of Israel.

“I claim all these things in the powerful, mighty name of Jesus, the one who, at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess, Jesus, that you are Lord, in Jesus’ name,” Borowicz said.

Democrats slammed her for the prayer. Rep. Movita Johnson-Harrell, the Muslim lawmaker who was sworn in at the Statehouse, accused Borowicz of using her religion against her….

State Rep. Jason Dawkins, another Muslim lawmaker, opened the session Tuesday by reading from the Quran, prompting applause in the chamber.

The Dems are preparing to make Islam the official religion of Pennsylvania. Some lawyers believe that individual states have the right to establish one faith as ‘official’, though the federal congress cannot do so.

Be very afraid and tell the Dems they are treading on dangerous political ground.

This will most likely also bring forth a call from the Church of Satan to have one of its members offer a prayer to Lucifer before a House session. Going down this road is a quick trip to a dead end and eventually nobody is going to be doing any praying at a public meeting anywhere in the U.S.

“This will most likely also bring forth a call from the Church of Satan to have one of its members offer a prayer to Lucifer before a House session.”

Indeed, likely may—only if, that is, the “Church of Satan” scrapes up enough courage to challenge “Allah.”

However, should they do so, the Muslim will not stand for that. There will be no God but “Allah” who, in due time, they will allow be praised and honored as “God.”

“Going down this road is a quick trip to a dead end and eventually nobody is going to be doing any praying at a public meeting anywhere in the U.S.”

Indeed, no one that is, but the Muslims.

Debi, it’s sad that Christians are being silenced in the country they did the most to build but when freedom of religion was made a founding principle the tolerance of all manner of spiritual beliefs (and disbelief) became a requirement. It’s going to be very difficult to keep the one religion which is intent on the suppression of all other religions from gaining control, however. I will keep up hope that the God in whom we once said we trust will not allow those who despise our way of life to take our nation away from us. I pray it in my heart every day.

First, there are all types of non-Orthodox Christian denominations in Russia as well as hundreds of Western/American religious organizations and missions that work with those non-Orthodox Russian denominations which include Catholics, Lutherans, Evangelicals, Baptists, Pentecostals, Seven-day Adventists and others! The story you provided has probably to do with authorities reacting to a nuisance of some Pentecostal individuals, groups giving out tracts and using speakers in front of Orthodox Churches on Sundays and Feast days disturbing the public.

Secondly, I do criticize American and Western establishment, not the people themselves and I understand people whether American, Russian or Swedish have similar ambitions, desires, values and challenges that they all share. And yes American are generous people,
just to give you an example, American Christian organizations, churches and missions spent many, many billions of dollars over the past decades to alleviate suffering in the poorest places of Africa, Asia or Latin America and no other citizens of any other country that can even come closer to the sacrificial generous of American Christians in that respect!

          …………………….

I presume christianblood is referring to this story:

“Russia’s Newest Law: No Evangelizing Outside of Church”

(UPDATE) Putin signs new restrictions that limit where and how Christians share the gospel.

          https://www.christianitytoday.com/news/2016/june/no-evangelizing-outside-of-church-russia-proposes.html

“Despite prayers and protests from religious leaders and human rights advocates, the Kremlin announced Putin’s approval yesterday. The amendments, including laws against sharing faith in homes, online, or anywhere but recognized church buildings, go into effect July 20.”
          …

How is sharing your faith with others in your own home “disturbing the public”?

This is how it will effect Pentecostals and other small denominations:

Protestants and religious minorities small enough to gather in homes fear they will be most affected. Last month, “the local police officer came to a home where a group of Pentecostals meet each Sunday,” Konstantin Bendas, deputy bishop of the Pentecostal Union, told Forum 18. “With a contented expression he told them: ‘Now they’re adopting the law I’ll drive you all out of here.’ I reckon we should now fear such zealous enforcement.”
          …

Note that none of them were even preaching in public–just meeting in their own homes.

This would also criminalize things like Christians emailing their friends an invitation to church.

Meanwhile, Muslims are allowed to aggressively take over the public streets of Moscow:

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BYExXqM7k4

The estimate is 60,000 Musliims aggressively taking over the streets, screaming “Allahu Akbar!”.

I’d rather deal with some Christians handing out pamphlets, myself–christianblood can, of course, disagree.

          More:

Secondly, I do criticize American and Western establishment, not the people themselves and I understand people whether American, Russian or Swedish have similar ambitions, desires, values and challenges that they all share.
          …………………….

And yet, christianblood constantly demands that God allow Muslims to destroy the West, and last time I took issue with, he said they should “start from me”.

          More:

And yes American are generous people,
just to give you an example, American Christian organizations, churches and missions spent many, many billions of dollars over the past decades to alleviate suffering in the poorest places of Africa, Asia or Latin America and no other citizens of any other country that can even come closer to the sacrificial generous of American Christians in that respect!

          Rep. Stephanie Borowicz’s “indignant” prayer

          (dlbrand March 30, 2019OpposingIslam)

          By Debi Brand

The alleged indignant prayer of Representative, Stephanie Borowicz

Perhaps, for many, she spoke “the Name” one time too many, perhaps more.
Maybe her prayer was a bit too long. Perchance, a bit to “preachy.”

Thus, perhaps, at the minimum, she even should have possibly — considering such a setting, for such an occasion — critically rethought the entire prayer. Revamped it thoroughly. First — and then only after critically reviewing, “editing” and tempering it — submitted it for approval, to the Legislative committee.

Possibly, just done away with it altogether… gone with something neutral. Vanilla-prayer. Generic.

Or even better yet, considering, this day in that House chamber, Movita Johnson-Harrell — the first Muslim woman elected to the General Assembly — was to be sworn in; thus, knowing that, perhaps it would have been best for Rep. Stephanie Borowicz to have chosen to go with something Islamic.

After all, in an interview Johnson-Harrell gave during her campaign for the office she now occupies, Movita Johnson-Harrel, reportedly said, “If elected, I will be the first Hijabi (covered Muslim woman) to be elected to the State House. It’s my faith that’s got me here and has kept me going.”

What’s more, according to another report ….: Read the rest at http://www.debibrand.org/rep-stephanie-borowiczs-indignant-prayer/

The West hates Christians, christainblood? Yes, some in the West do (and many more are simply indifferent) and I should think the some 20-25% of Russians who still stupidly think Communism and the USSR were good things also despise Christianity—as Marx himself did.

But here in America tens upon tens upon tens of millions of Americans, particularly those who voted for Trump, are devout Christians and so when you paint with the absurdly broad brush that you invariably do you deny yourself an opportunity at comprehending the truth of things. Rank prejudice has a devastating effect on veracity, you know.

And don’t bother to accuse me of such where Russians are concerned. I have many times at JW applauded the Russians for their courage and their intellectual and artistic heritage while at the same time noting their xenophobia and woeful understanding of liberty. When have you complimented Americans on anything?

Americans are commendable for their generosity. There are millions of American Christians who voted for Trump, even-though Trump is becoming a puppet for the warmongering “neocons” who are now trying to create another regime-change war in Venezuela.

American Christians may be many, Wellington but they are weak and inconsequential as their country is run by liberal secularists that are promoting perversions and openly De-christianizing America! The story in this threat that (..Pennsylvania: State Dems call Christian prayer “bigoted,” applaud Qur’an reading at state House session..) is a good example of this! If someone in the Russian Duma demeans Christianity in a similar fashion while praising Islamism and the Quran, I tell you, there will be war! I can’t imagine something like happening in Russia! Must admit, even as an agnostic, I see the benefits of a return to Christianity for Russia and the future moral strength that will be derived from it. Law enforcement has been a failure at teaching values.

I’ve always thought of the common Russians as little different than common Americans, sadly separated, by language, ideology , and the alphas at the top. Pakistan and India are a similar example where harmony could exist yet is destroyed by ideology.

I think for the US-Russia relationship, the language barrier is the most effective, the two languages being without any real relationships such as English and the European romance languages. To some extent, language controls what we can think.

I see a possible benefit to the continuing growth of Christianity in Russia; a day when it decides that supporting Islamic nations is not in its interest.

If a day ever comes(long after we have all passed) when there is a common universal language, much of the animosity between powerful nations might subside. It seems that both American and Russian politicians do not realize that B is to A as A is to B; that is, when we see and accuse Russia as a beligerent nation, it sees us as exactly the same.

There’s a new kid on the block, China, that might deserve a deflection in our common attention.

There is much that can unite Americans and Russians but there is a few powerful American ‘establishment’ elites, chief of which is the ‘Military Industrial Complex’ that won’t allow such a corporation of the two countries as they think this will prevent them from gaining the many billions they are pocketing every year by persuading everyone about the “Russian Threat”. After reading the “prayer” the one lawmaker said, there didn’t seem to be any “hate” expressed for anyone.

However, the unholy book of moslim belief is full and over-flowing with hatred for all non-moslims, esp Jews and Christians.

How is the “prayer” bigoted and the “reading” not? Even if the woman praying had said something about the evils of islam, that would not nullify the “bigotry” of islam expressed time and again in their unholy book and by the moslims proclaiming its teachings.

If one professing Christianity cannot pray, then the moslim should not be allowed to read or pray.

Why does “Brian hoff”–really, “DefenderofIslam”–keep lying?

Yes, the first Sura is “than short one”, but that doesn’t mean there is not room to curse Jews and Christians. You can read it here:

          https://www.whyislam.org/on-faith/the-opener-first-chapter-of-the-quran/

          The last lines curse two:

The path of those on whom You have bestowed your grace, not (the way) of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray.
          …

Traditionally, those who have earned Allah’s anger are Jews, and those who went astray are Christians.

This is not my interpretation–here is a learned Muslim cleric:

Honorable Commentators (Mufassereen e Karaam) say that complete example of ‘al-magzuubi ‘alay-him, (who earn Thine anger) are the Jews, who earned the anger of God Almighty. Sayings of The Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) are available also to support it. So, this verse is common to justify all of them who used to oppose the truth intentionally, due to their personal badness and wickedness, and the wrath of Allah Almighty was sent down upon them.

According to religious commentators, apparent instance of ’az-zaaalliin (who go astray) is “the Christians” who, after having belief in a Prophet (peace be upon Him), even then, went astray and involved in ascribing plurality to God Almighty. In addition to them, if any other nation will lose one’s way, that will also be called astray and will be included in the list of ’az-zaaalliin (went astray).

We supplicate from Allah Almighty for blessings to save us from those kinds of people who earned His anger and who went astray, who became victims of practical errors and defective faith.

          https://lastwordsofcommand.blogspot.com/2017/03/quran-chapter-1-7-pt-1-stg-1l11.html

          This is mainstream Muslim interpretation.

As a life-long Pennsylvanian, which brings all this annoying shit more front and center like, I assert that not only is Islam incompatible with the many guarantees to be found in the American Constitution, especially the First and Fourteenth Amendments which respectively guarantee various freedoms and equality under the law, neither of which Islam to this very day, and per every major school of Islamic theology, Sunni or Shiite, upholds, but I assert as well that the Democratic Party here in America is increasingly getting loonier and loonier and has actually become a security risk to the preservation of this great nation.

I hate Islam. And I have come to hate the Democratic Party of the USA. In fact, I would argue that the Democratic Party of the USA is a greater threat to the Constitution than Islam itself on the premise that stupidly covering up for malevolence under the guise of being something sapient and fair, thus running interference for iniquity, is even worse than pure and stark malevolence itself—like Islam.

Anyone averring that the Koran in any way is compatible with the major principles involved in the founding and development of America is, at best, a fool, at worst, deliberately malicious. Even many Republicans to this day don’t get this (e.g., the entire Bush family) but the Democratic Party is “over the top” in this regard.

Islam is so damn sneaky and fools so many people. Right now this is going on in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and I am disgusted by it. Anyone who cherishes freedom, which Islam KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT, should be too.

Now this Support Our Troops rally is held outside the city limits in a park.

It also should be mentioned that at the start of those”Support Our Troops” rallies a prayer is said to God in the Name of Jesus .” It might only a matter of time before some Muslim and the leftest stooges start to object to this type of prayer , “in the name of Jesus” and start yelling out that such prayers are “anti-Muslim” or some other similar nonsense.

I think this is a wonderful opportunity to read verses of the Quran.

Make a loud and dramatic statement ” I will now read from the Bible of the Muslims the Quran.”

Start with: 9:5 “Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and lie in wait for them with every kind of ambush.” Follow on with 9:14 “Fight them so that Allah may punish them with your hands and humiliate them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people.” amen

    That should do it!

Pennsylvania: State Dems call Christian prayer “bigoted,” applaud Qur’an reading at state House session
    ……………………..

This is what self-hatred looks like–and I’m not just referring to Christians there, but any Westerners.

And what did Jason Dawkins (I wonder what his Muslim name is?) read from the Qur’an? Was it one of the many, many Suras about how “Allah” hates unbelievers–including Jews and Christians?

The founding father of Pennsylvania was William Penn who drafted a charter for the new settlement that included freedom of religion. Penn had been imprisoned several times in England because of his religious beliefs and came to the New World to escape persecution. Now, in an ironic attempt to be tolerant, the people who govern Penn’s state want to invite religious bigotry and persecution to take control over them. To what new world will they flee to begin another new state when their churches are turned into mosques — and if you think I am being too pessimistic just look at what Erdogan is doing to the Hagia Sophia. Penn was not a fool who would have thought those who wished to destroy his religion were Friends of the Church but the people who have come after him appear to have allowed themselves to be deluded into thinking so.

I know that when Blacks convert to Islam they take Arabic names and discard their “slave name.” I wonder how many have inadvertently taken the name of the Arab slave trader who sold their ancestors into bondage.

    • cephash says

      Mar 29, 2019 at 6:49 pm

The odious Malcolm X persuaded a pugilist named Cassius Clay to give up the name bequeathed by his grandfather to honor a famous Kentucky abolitionist and take on the name of a red-haired, freckle-faced Albanian general who made himself king of Egypt partly to control a lucrative slave trade from what is now Sudan.

I’m not for bringing back slavery, segregation, or some colonization scheme, but I fault the leadership of black America from making Islam somehow respectable and cool. It’s all the more ironic that our first black president, as the scion of East African Muslims, had people involved in hunting and selling slaves long after the last American Sothron slaveholders were put out of business by the Civil War.

But it’s not all negative. There are also blacks leaving Islam after a time.

The Christian lady with the Jewish sounding name was engaging an enemy without delusion that the muslims and the leftists were trying to destroy her and her country. If her example is not followed Christianity will be banned and islam will be allowed. You will either fight for your identity against your enemies, or you will be conquered by islam. They are angry at G-d for blessing some of His creation more than others, your very existence is an offense to them. Do not believe multinational-leftist lies about fairness, accommodation or moderation, you are in a fight to the death. That is why they are censoring the reduction of european Christians, Jews, non muslims and atheists to second class citizens in americas occupied media at the hands of the muslims with corporate support. Stand for your belief and give your enemy no quarter, no mercy will be shown to you. In G-d I trust.

It seems Eddie Harris deflected the argument, instead of attending to Jason Dawkins we are attacking him. In any case, Eddie while you are reticent of attacking Islam but rather fast to criticise Christianity, It seems Jason has won you over. Jason, Ilhan, Rashida , Ellison, Sarsour, etc. are public representatives\figures that are employed to turn American politics favourable towards Islam. These “unphobic” peoples have rationalized that Christianity is the problem without attending to the fact\s that Biblically there is no doctrine for violence. Violence in the Old Testament is not violent against humanity but of Israel forming a nation state. On the contrary, jihad in the Qur’an is a Muslim doctrine. In fact, all Muslims are exhorted to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet(Muhammad). Christians are doctrinaire in loving their enemies and neighbours ; the Qur’an in contrast tells its followers not to love Jews\Christians. Now Jason\Eddie you choose…

FAITH is not believing that God can, it is knowing the He will.

    CONTRADICT

    https://contradictmovement.org/pages/what-does-this-mean

Tolerance and co-existence are both great! In fact, they are necessary. If we are to live together in peace without hating each other, or physically harming each other, over differences in race, culture, sexual orientation, political views, and religious beliefs, we must have tolerance. However, we must also recognize that every belief can’t be equally valid.

If two beliefs directly contradict each other, both of them cannot be true, no matter how “tolerant” we become. This means it is false to say that every religion is true, or that every religion leads to God. When people make such claims they are showing that they have not taken the time to study the world’s religions, because a brief reading of the sacred texts of only a handful of religions quickly reveals contradictions on the most fundamental levels.

Jesus is the Savior of all people groups. He is the Savior of the Buddhist, the Hindu, the Muslim, the Jew, the Satanist, the Atheist, the homosexual, the heterosexual, the republican, and the democrat – all people. Everyone has fallen short of the glory of God and deserve God’s wrath, yet… to all who have received him, to all who have called upon his name, he has given the right to be called children of God! (John 1:12) Repent and be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit for the forgiveness of sins. (Matt. 28:19 and Acts 2:38)

So the Democrats are embracing Islam. No surprise there. Islam shares a favored goal of the left: destroy the Christian underpinnings of this country.

They differ in what they will do after that. The left wants to turn this into an atheistic, socialist state, while Islam wants to turn it into a theocratic totalitarian dictatorship.

The Democrats embrace Islam because it’s “cool” to one of their key constituencies.

The Democrats have a vested interest in keeping Americans ignorant of history, comparative religion, and philosophic thought. They need us just literate enough to react to some emotion-laden dog whistle; but not well-read enough to make a few judgments.

The alleged indignant prayer of Representative, Stephanie Borowicz

Perhaps, for many, she spoke “the Name” one time too many, perhaps more.

Maybe her prayer was a bit too long. Perchance, a bit to “preachy.”

    ………………

“ ‘Jesus,’” spake, Rep. Stephanie Borowicz, as she began her prayer.

From that point onward, all that followed in that prayer, for the believer in the doctrine of the alleged Arabian Prophet, by Qur’anic guidelines would easily qualify as blasphemy – “impious utterance or action concerning God or sacred things.”

Pointedly, as one would expect from any good Muslim, reportedly, Movita Johnson-Harrel stated just that. Stating she was outraged at the prayer. Said, “It was … blasphemy.”

Well, of course it was — from Islamic standards, that is.

Until she is publicly challenged to explain how that prayer (not the length–which was a bit long) constitutes “an irrational fear of Islam”.

If the folks who CAN do that DON’T, she’ll have gotten away with that.
