There appears to be a very deep hostility to Christianity among certain officials of the UK Home Office. What might be their background and perspective? They may be Muslims, of course, but they may also be Leftists who despite their own nation and heritage and wouldn’t ever dare say the slightest critical word about Islam.
“‘Your faith is half-hearted’: Second Iranian Christian had his asylum application rejected by the Home Office after saying ‘Jesus could not protect him from the Iranian regime’, lawyer claims,” by Rory Tingle, Mailonline, March 24, 2019:
The Home Office is facing more questions about its attitude towards Christian asylum seekers amid claims it rejected another Iranian man’s application to move to Britain by telling him, ‘your belief in Jesus is half-hearted’.
There was outrage this week after it emerged a convert was refused asylum in 2016 because an official said his conversion from Islam was ‘inconsistent’ with his suggestion Christianity was a peaceful religion – by highlighting violent passages from the Bible.
Now immigration caseworker Nathan Stevens, who exposed the first case, has said another Iranian he worked with had his application rejected after an official criticised him for admitting Jesus could not protect him from his country’s tyrannical regime.
Mr Stevens posted a comment from the refusal on Twitter, which read: ‘You affirmed in your AIR [Asylum Interview Record] that Jesus is your saviour, but then claimed that He would not be able to save you from the Iranian regime. It is therefore considered that you have no conviction in your faith and your belief in Jesus is half-hearted.’…

The Home Office is infested with islamists. Just stand outside their offices in Croydon.
I hold no candle for either christianity or islam, what I find offensive is this…..would they dare say the same thing about islam?????
We know the answer.
It is institutional fear and cowardice.
Kay says
At the very least. Sounds like someone who’s proud of being able to *prove* that Jesus isn’t God. (If you are the son of God, save yourself.)

i suspect that the majority in the home office are uneducated about either islam or christianity, since the leftist indoctrination centers refuse to teach anything about either. they don’t teach critical thinking, either, so that they are unable to see the untenability of their own beliefs. and since the hard-core left has owned “education” in UKistan since the late 19th and early 20th century, it only takes a handful of hard-core types to set the tone for an entire agency – or the entire culture, for that matter.
thus, this wanker (*love* that word; it’s so descriptive!) *thinks* he has proven something, but cannot see that he but demonstrates his own ignorance (and his hard-core masters are probably proud of their handiwork).

I think the staff is Muslim, or at least the caseworker of this case is. That is why the British HOme office is making these anti christian comments to muslim converts. They seek revenge and they want to let in Muslim immigrants, to undermine the West.
Is there any way, you can find out the name of hte person who rejected the asylum bid of this Christian? and the religion?
Ten to one, it will be a Muslim.

You are in all probability right.
This is demographic warfare. Hijra….. How many British or western politicians even know what that means???

If a Nation acts like an “Islamic Republic”, passes Laws supporting the aims of an Islamic Republic, treats its Citizens as if they LIVED in an Islamic Republic, well, then, it IS an “Islamic Republic”. The “Islamic Republic of the UK”. Has a ring of TRUTH in it, no?

It is most likely a pro-islam politically-correct Leftie or a muslim official behind it:who else would bother to stop an Iranian christian?Especially given that the one thing the Left and muslims have in common,is a shared hatred of christianity.
Whoever is the official involved,he or she should be exposed.
Of course sajid javid’s bias is obvious enough…I’m sure he would love to be the UK’s first muslim PM.

It is not surprising that the Home Office is very Islamic. Theresa May was the Home Secretary for six years, far longer than anyone else.

The Crown Prince, himself, stated to a 60 Minutes interviewer that Britain “has no written constitution and relies on tradition”. That makes human rights arbitrary and explains why Robert Spencer can be banned while Islamic seditious-hate-spewing-imams are invited into the country. Perhaps this “limited”, arbitrary, democracy is a product of historical aristocratic rule that is still ongoing.
Now it becomes clear why politicians/aristocrats believe they can suppress the populace desire for Brexit and subvert it without consequences. It’s surprising that the historical, “instruments of torture”, are not in use on Brexiteers. Has anyone checked?

Interesting. I’ve heard Brits explain to me that they look on a mix of documents from Magna Carta through English Bill of RIghts (and some others) as their “Written Constitution”.
In any case, re the article, it seems as if someone is dleiberately trying to be both cruel and snide in his dealings with these Iranian asylum seekers.

The True God of heaven “sets up kings and takes down kings.” This can apply to people in the “home office” of a government. There have been many examples in history.
Now, this person in the home office is deciding just how much “faith” is appropriate for a Christian in order for that Christian to receive help from the U.K. government. This government employee is deciding on the basis of the person wishing to have some freedom to be a Christian that he does not have enough faith to have freedom, otherwise he would have enough faith to stay and be persecuted. The employee is also deciding that Jesus doesn’t have the power to save someone of “little faith”.
How bold, how arrogant, how wrong…must be a moslim making these assertions about these two men trying to escape persecution…by other moslims.
Jesus spoke to some of “little faith.” And He didn’t turn away from them, but continued to help and teach.
There is a world of difference in Christianity and islam. Jesus was “humble.” This creep in the home office is arrogant. This puny human will reap what he/she is sowing.

In South Asia during church communion, some migrants invaded church and threw that breads and vine outside . Then said “This is not the blood of Jesus. You liar. This is our blood. We work hard for making this. But you tell your devotees that this this the blood of Jesus. This is wheat and alcohol you shit. Give our 2 months pending money”

That UK home office is full of fools!
1. THEY are the ones not protecting the asylum seekers from the Iranian regime.
2. They have NO authority to make value judgments about any religions. That is a personal choice. They are discriminating against them based on their religion.
3. They have room for millions of dangerous muslim migrants, but no room for the Christian asylum seekers who are true refugees?
4. The koran has WAY more callings to stonings than the Old Testament. The Old Testament has the death penalty for things like murder and other abominations to God and we even have the death penalty here in the U.S.
5. Christianity is a religion of peace, not violence and islam is a religion of violence, not peace. If there are any punitive passages in the Bible, they are just. But islam has tons and they are not just.
6. The UK home office staff’s religion is not a religion of peace but rather violence since they favor sending this poor innocent refugee victim to certain death. And THEIR faith is ‘half hearted,’ not the Christians. They are legitimate refugees. And the UK office is making false and bigoted judgments about them, their beliefs, their religion, their feelings, etc. that it cannot possibly know. Anyone with half a brain would be seeking to get away from Iran.
7. Jesus is our Savior; He saves us from our SINS! He said we would be persecuted for His namesake! He CAN deliver us from evil UK home office staff members as well as Iranian tyrannies, but this is our lot on the earth for now… to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and share the fellowship of His sufferings.
8. The UK Home Office staffers have the valid Christian refugees’ blood on their hands if they are sent back and martyred for their faith.
The UK Home Office staffers responsible are a ship of fools!!!

I personally experienced the anti-Christian attitude from the UK immigration officer June last year (2018). I told the officer that ‘I came here to tell people about Jesus Christ, the best example that we can follow.’ From that point on wards I experienced a hostile environment at the immigration and I was DETAINED SEVEN HOURS like a criminal. Later they allowed me to enter UK. When asked, why I was detained, the reply was that the immigration officer was not satisfied with my answers. This immigration officer told another officer ‘This guy came all the way from US to preach Jesus here’ ridiculing me.

People need to understand that, due to decades of affirmative action, many of the bureaucrats in the UK, EU, and increasingly in the USA, are Muslims.
As is well documented, the first loyalty of a Muslim is to Islam, and any oath made to the contrary with an infidel is null and void.
Have a nice future.
