The Palestinian jihad against Israel (and Zionism) has received a boost from the Arab League. Just as Israel has begun withholding funds to the Palestinian Aithority in the form of owed taxes and tariffs, specifically because of the jihadist “pay for slay” program, the Arab League has stepped in to make up the shortfall by pledging 100 million dollars per month. The “pay for slay” scheme pays out cash to jihad terrorists and their families.
In addition, “PA President Mahmoud Abbas appealed to the Arab League in Cairo to support him in rejecting the Trump administration’s as-yet unveiled peace plan,” and it looks as if Abbas will get his wish.
The PA does not recognize Israel’s right to exist, which is common knowledge by now, and it seeks to obliterate Israel, in accordance with its Charter (and the PLO and Hamas charters). The “resistance chant” –“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” — refers to the obliteration of Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.
More from Abbas: “We don’t accept the annexation of the Golan and Jerusalem. These are all Arab territories. They are all occupied territories, and Israel needs to quickly withdraw from them.” He “asked Arab nations to help alleviate the PA’s dire financial crisis.” In other words, to increase aid for jihad terror against Israel, which the Arab League is already doing with its pledge of $100 million per month.
“Arab League Pledges $100 Million to Palestinian Authority,” by Deborah Danan, Breitbart, April 22, 2019:
TEL AVIV – The Arab League on Sunday pledged $100 million per month to the Palestinian Authority to cover the funds suspended by Israel in taxes and tariffs owed to the PA over the latter’s so-called “pay-for-slay” scheme paying salaries to terrorists and their families.
Earlier in the day, PA President Mahmoud Abbas appealed to the Arab League in Cairo to support him in rejecting the Trump administration’s as-yet unveiled peace plan.
“The Arabs need to be engaging actively at this critical time,” Abbas said.
He noted that the U.S. could offer nothing to the Palestinians in light of the moves it has taken against them, including recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the subsequent transfer of the US Embassy there, as well as cutting aid.
“What’s left to offer us? Is there anything left to offer us that would make us happy? They took Jerusalem and the occupied territories, canceled the [rights of the] refugees and legitimized settlements. They want to fool us. They have nothing to offer us. Even if they want to offer something, it will be worse than anything else.”
“We can’t hear that the holy city of Jerusalem has been annexed to Israel,” he said. “After this crime, what can we expect?”
He also addressed President Donald Trump’s recent decision to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
“We don’t accept the annexation of the Golan and Jerusalem,” Abbas said. “These are all Arab territories. They are all occupied territories, and Israel needs to quickly withdraw from them.”
He also asked Arab nations to help alleviate the PA’s dire financial crisis.
“A safety net must be provided,” Abbas said.
In February, Israel began cutting monthly funds to the PA over its payments to convicted terrorists and their families, totaling close to $140 million. The PA at the time responded that it would result in anarchy in the West Bank. Abbas also said that if Israel deducts even “one penny” from tax monies owed to the PA, the PA would not accept the money transfers.
France last week called on Israel to “change your decision to freeze the transfer of tax funds to the Palestinian Authority,” Israel’s Channel 12 news reported on Sunday.
Israel responded that the request itself was immoral and opposed to the EU’s own laws.
According to a new report from the World Bank, the Palestinian deficit is set to increase from $400 million last year to over $1 billion this year.
Last week, newly appointed PA prime minister Mohammad Shtayyeh accused the Trump administration of facilitating Israel’s “financial war” on the Palestinian Authority…..

All of this payoff, reminds one of the MAFIA shakedowns and compensations for “soldiers”….

There’s a new Resolution in our Senate proposing to restore subsidies to this “Palestinian government.” I don’t know the details yet, research it yourself, above all be aware of this and be ready to make some noise if it gains any traction. If anybody knows anything more please post.

Senate Resolution 171. You can eventually get a copy of it from the Senate web site, but if you term-search anything relevant they refuse your query and say it has something to do with national security. Wonder if I’ll get a call from some feds some time? Anyway, if anyone’s already up to speed on this stuff I could use some help with this. The text of the Resolution says that nothing in it means to contradict the Taylor Force Act, and doesn’t explicitly mention anything about civil liability for the actions of (U.S. funded) jihadis……including those who got their weapons as purported Palestinian law enforcement agents.

For those not familiar with this, it is worth reading, even though it is CNN.
Legislation occurred fairly quickly regarding Taylor Force.
Quicker than any legislation regarding Kate Steinle.
(I had just been on that pier where she was killed on that day.
If I had stayed there, perhaps I could’ve prevented something.
Or taken her bullet for her. Awareness of real actual thugs is key
to preventing these things….)

I hope this resolution goes down in flames.

Everyone living under the PA could be a millionaire if all the money they receive from other countries did not support warfare and ‘pay-for-slay’. EVERY SINGLE PALLY COULD NOW BE A MILLIONAIRE several times over.
The Pally leaders are ALL MULTIMILLIONAIRES … did you ever ask yourself how they did it?

What, Mortimer, can’t say anything here about my erudition?
ANYWAY…. (to keep use of the capital letters)

Indeed, the expenditures for tunnels and explosive kites could be better used for schools, hospitals, roadways.
Then again, the USA has the problem of faltering infrastructure due to lack of spending on what matters most as well.

Any hospitals and schools they build will probably have munitions factories in the cellar and force-feed students and patients with anti-Semitism. Shouldn’t anything built there with our tax dollars be subject to verification? Is there anything like that—-inspection and verification—in place now? Has our government decided to “trust” these guys? Did they ask us?

True, Mortimer.

The term “Palestine” is an old Roman lie, but Arabs as “PaIestinians” – that’s the biggest deception in mankind history! Who are these people really, where did they come from, when and under what circumstances – in this article:

Of a 100 million per month?

What is so hilarious about this is that a lot of the ‘aid’ money to be paid to the PA by Arab states is, in fact, aid money paid to Arab states by Western democracies.
So you simply cannot get away from funding terrorism if you live in a Western Democracy.
The leadership of the West has never been more pathetic.
In the past, that has not ended well.
What a farce.

Luckily, the US has cut back aid to the “Palestinians” for just this reason.

The Arab League can promise any amount of support that it likes. Actually paying their agreed shares will be quite another matter.
