“You do not have the necessary quality to have children in your care.”
In Denmark now that “necessary quality” is apparently Sharia compliance.
“Denmark Threatens Woman Critical of Islam with Removal of Foster Child,” by Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart, April 8, 2019:
A Danish supervising authority has threatened Danish-Iranian blogger and author Jaleh Tavakoli with the removal of her foster child after she shared an online video of a murder by Islamic State terrorists in Morocco.
The Social Supervisory Authority informed Ms. Tavakoli that the approval of her and her husband as foster parents had been rescinded and that their eight-year-old foster daughter — whom they have raised since her infancy — may be taken from their home because, they were told, “you do not have the necessary quality to have children in your care.”
Ms. Tavakoli has reportedly been charged under Danish law for sharing the video of the jihadist killing of Louisa Vesterager Jespersen and Maren Ueland. While Tavakoli admitted to sharing the video, she said she believed it to be in the public interest to do so, as she was trying to inform people of the grave threat posed by Islamic terrorism.
The letter from the Supervisory Authority states that Tavakoli’s “participation in the public debate” compromises her role as a foster parent and that her choice “to expose yourself and communicate politically” is considered incompatible with the task as a foster family.
“We consider that, in view of the above charge, you do not have the necessary quality to have children,” the letter declares.
A second letter from the Authority last week took a slightly more conciliatory tone, saying that a further audit would be undertaken of Tavakoli’s case. The letter followed a barrage of criticism, which accused the Authority of overstepping its authority and of threatening free speech.
Martin Henriksen, the leader of the Danish People’s Party, criticized the Authority’s decision as “deeply disturbing” because no real neglect or abuse has been alleged, only a sort of political activism from an unpopular angle.
Lisbeth Zornig Andersen, former chair of Denmark’s National Council for Children, said the government’s decision was “totally crazy and out of proportion.”
“The child has been with Jaleh Tavakoli and her husband since she was very small. She can’t remember anything else,” Ms. Andersen said, adding that “it’s deeply unfair to the child.”…

All that these morons’ decision achieves is more people saying ‘f__k Islam!’

And they are saying ‘The mental patients are running the asylum.’
Would the woman be considered ‘unqualified’ if she criticized the established, Lutheran Church of Denmark ? No, she would be considered ‘normal’ if she criticized the Church of Denmark.
An intelligent, moral person will criticize Islam, because Islam is opportunistic, amoral, supremacist, xenophobic and unsupported by history or fact-based reasoning.

What utter bo__cks!

Soon it will be biological children as well, not just foster children.

I’m sure this is true.
And they have raised this child from an infant–I’m sure she feels like their child–and even more to the point, that they feel like her parents. What grotesque child abuse this is.

The Social Supervisory Authority informed Ms. Tavakoli:
“you do not have the necessary quality to have children in your care.”
And she did nothing wrong!
When, in Denmark, has that ever been told to a Muslim family?
Raising a child in the faith of Islam is, in my humble opinion, CHILD ABUSE.

“Raising a child in the faith of Islam is Child Abuse”…..I like the sound of that observation.

As we know, there would be a completely different policy if she was speaking out about a murder committed by a white supremacist as opposed to the islamic supremacists.Human kinds sense of justice is based on an eye for an eye, it seems hard to imagine what a horrible place these leftists, globalists and muslims are taking us to. Anyone who thinks that denmark is not a fascist state should actually read this article. This woman adopted this baby 8 years ago. In G-d I trust.

The people who teach their children to hate non-believers, and that Jews are pigs, do not have the necessary quality to have children in their care. But their kids are not taken away from them, because the Danish government, like many others, is bending down in submission to their new masters.

Denmark threatens to take away foster child of woman who is critical of Islam
……………….
This is *appalling*. How does opposing the savage murder of a Danish girl and her friend mean that you don’t “have the necessary quality to have children in your care”? It would rather seem to prove just the opposite.

So what if she told them she was going to cut away all of her foster child’s female parts with a razor blade, dressed her in a black tent-like garment and married her off to a 58 year old man that would beat her, then would they have said, “Well done! You can keep her until she is 9, just as long as you promise that you’ll get her married off as you have said, when she turns 9.”
Such a sick cult!

Good job, Denmark, what are you doing with all the parents who kill their children, for honour or converting?
You kill them, decapitate them, stone them, or cut of their private parts? Do you have any normal judges in your western civilised country or for 100% cowards?

Denmark, please consider something JFK said: “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” Denmark needs a First Amendment equivalent.
The remedy for bad speech is not censorship, which is a form of violence. The remedy for bad speech is more speech.
Speech that no one finds offensive needs no protection. Free speech laws are there precisely to protect speech that someone claims is “offensive” and wants to silence.
Denmark, rise up and establish an equivalent of the First Amendment. The only speech that should be censored is speech that unambiguously and explicitly calls for illegal violence in the immediate future, or speech of the sort that shouts “fire” in a crowded theater.
As for “hate speech”, that label ends up being used by the powerful to silence anyone with whom they disagree. If you think speech is hate speech, the remedy is not the violent remedy of state censorship, but more speech. Stand up for freedom! Or Denmark is surely doomed.

Yes, it was not just crazy. The letter written by the “Social Supervisory Authority” of the Danish government amounted to something like criminal negligence by the Authority. Those in charge of the Social Supervisory Authority, or whoever composed and approved that letter threatening to take the child away from its parents, should have their right to deal with foster care matters revoked. They are the ones not fit to be responsible for anything to do with children. If Danish law permits, furthermore, the Social Supervisory Authority should be sued for money damages in the largest amount possible to recompense the tremendous anxiety and upset the Authority must have caused the parents in this situation. Imagine if you were told your child whom you’d raised from infancy was going to be taken away because you had made a non-violent political statement. The government’s behavior was absolutely outrageous and the people responsible should be severely punished.
