Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

NBC condemns questions about Notre Dame fire being jihad arson as “Islamophobic conspiracy theories”

Apr 18, 2019 4:00 pm By Christine Douglass-Williams

Some in the mainstream media have been quick to accuse anyone of spreading “Islamophobic conspiracy theories” if they question whether the Notre Dame blaze may be a jihad attack. An NBC article states: “Images and videos of the flaming cathedral spread quickly across social media and were quickly seized upon to push Islamophobic narratives that have flourished in far-right politics.” The Huffington Post shouted “racial hatred.”

No one knows whether jihadists ignited the blaze or not, and there is ample reason to ask questions. Many in the media, however, have lost an ability which was once a job requirement of journalists: to ask probing questions.

One should not jump to conclusions about Nortre Dame, but there are a few occurrences that likely prompted questions.

  • Despite the unusually quick response to blame renovations for the fire, “the chief architect of historical monuments responsible for the restoration of the spire of Notre Dame, Philippe Villeneuve, states: ‘the work had not started yet, only the scaffolding was being assembled.’ From his point of view, ‘the hot spot hypothesis is therefore not the right one.” So there were no workers in the cathedral and no heat sources near the timber frame.
  • In September 2016, a Muslim was arrested after his car is found packed with explosive gas cylinders outside Notre Dame cathedral.
  • A couple days later, three more Muslims were arrested over a Notre Dame Cathedral jihad bomb plot.
  • In France, three churches a day are vandalized on average and last month “over 800-year-old Basilica of Saint-Denis in the now heavily migrant-populated suburbs of Paris was also vandalised, with the basilica’s organ being heavily damaged and stained glass windows were broken.” Across Europe, churches are routinely being desecrated.
  • A Catholic priest was beheaded by jihadists in front of horrified onlookers during mass in 2016. Father Jacques Hamel was first forced to his knees before he was murdered, while the jihadists “filmed themselves preaching in Arabic by the altar.”
  • And consider the words of Muslim political candidate Eve Torres in Montreal: she stated that the Notre Dame fire was divine retribution and that “firefighters should sleep in the church on Notre-Dame Street in Montreal.”
  • “The Australian Jewish Association cited alleged social media post by Muslims and people with Arab names that delighted in the church’s destruction.”

Prudent people ask questions in the face of suspicious occurrences, and it is not spreading conspiracy theories to do so. Nor is it “far right,” “racist,” or “Islamophobic.”

“Notre Dame Cathedral fire spurs Islamophobic conspiracy theories on social media,” by Ben Collins, NBC News, April 16, 2019:

As firefighters worked to contain the fire that ravaged the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on Monday, Twitter and YouTube struggled to take down conspiracy theories being pushed by both anonymous accounts and verified white nationalists who spread Islamophobic theories about the disaster.

French officials investigating the fire have ruled out arson and terrorism, saying the fire that led to a roof collapse may have been tied to ongoing repairs at the cathedral.

Images and videos of the flaming cathedral spread quickly across social media and were quickly seized upon to push Islamophobic narratives that have flourished in far-right politics around the world in recent years. Those sentiments then made their way to more mainstream conservative pundits, who questioned whether the fire had been set on purpose.

Some anonymous users used editing software to push conspiracy theories on YouTube and Twitter, and their accounts remained active on the platforms — despite repeated debunkings and reports on the platform. One video on YouTube, viewed 40,000 times, superimposes audio of a man yelling “Allahu Akbar” (Arabic for “God is great”) over a video of the Notre Dame fire. The audio comes from a years-old video, which is the first result when a user searches for “Allahu Akbar Scream” in Google. The video has not been removed from YouTube….

With over 800 attacks on churches in France due to the religion of peace, I hardly think it’s Islamophobic to speculate that this one may be due to the same thing.

Attacks on Churches in France have skyrocketing–they are up 17% just between 2017 and 2018. And the problem is not just in France, but in other European nations such as Germany.

lebel’s implication that this has nothing to do with Muslims is, of course, what is truly dishonest:

“France: Muslim migrant held for extensive damage to centuries-old Paris church”

          https://www.jihadwatch.org/2019/04/france-muslim-migrant-held-for-extensive-damage-to-centuries-old-paris-church

The Paris Church in this case was the Basilica of Saint-Denis.

And while the destruction at Notre Dame de Paris may not be Jihad, that does not mean that Muslims have not plotted to destroy this Cathedral:

“France: Muslim girl ‘in search of love’ plotted to blow up car packed with gas canisters near Notre Dame cathedral”

          https://www.jihadwatch.org/2019/04/france-muslim-girl-in-search-of-love-plotted-to-blow-up-car-packed-with-gas-canisters-near-notre-dame-cathedral

Then there was the horrific Islamic attack on a Church in Normandy in 2016, where Muslims beheaded an elderly priest.

And while these plots and attacks have gotten much worse, they are not new–there was a Jihad terror plot to bomb Strasbourg Cathedral in 2000.

lebel claims he is calling for evidence–but he will likely ignore or sneer at the above.

And–as he well knows–Muslims have been cheering the fire at Notre Dame. Does he have a problem with this? He certainly has not said so, and no one should be surprised.

The way to understand lebel is to think of Tokyo Rose during World War II. A quite conscious propagandist, liar, and manipulator.

On a monthly basis, Raymond Ibrahim collects news stories of Muslim attacks on churches around the globe. Here’s the January 2019 list (I don’t know if he’s done this for Feb and March yet):
          https://www.raymondibrahim.com/2019/03/12/is-it-really-human-beings-doing-this-muslim-persecution-of-christians-january-2019/

Massacres in and Attacks on Churches

Philippines: On Sunday, January 27, Islamic militants bombed a Catholic cathedral during Mass. At least 20 people were killed and 111 wounded. Two explosives were detonated about a minute apart in or near the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Jolo around 8:45 a.m. According to one report, “The initial explosion scattered the wooden pews inside the main hall and blasted window glass panels, and the second bomb hurled human remains and debris across a town square fronting the cathedral.” Photos on social media showed human bodies and remains strewn on the street just outside the cathedral. The officiating priest, Fr. Ricky Bacolcol, “was still in shock and could not speak about what happened,” to quote a colleague. After the first bomb detonated, army troops and police posted outside the cathedral rushed in, at which point the second bomb went off. Fifteen of the slain were civilians, five military men; 90 of the wounded were civilians. Located in a Muslim-majority area, the cathedral was heavily guarded as it had been hit before: grenades were hurled at it twice in 2010, both times damaging the building; and in 1997, Bishop Benjamin de Jesus was gunned down just outside the cathedral. The Islamic State claimed this most recent attack, adding that the massacre was carried out by “two knights of martyrdom” against a “crusader temple.”

Egypt: An Islamic terror plot to bomb a packed Christian church on the evening of January 6, when Coptic Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas, was foiled by police. According to one report,

[F]our explosive devices were planted around the Church of the Virgin Mary and St Mercurius in … Nasr City. Three were removed safely but the fourth, concealed in a bag, exploded when police bomb disposal technicians attempted to deactivate it. Police Major Mostafa Ebeid was killed in the blast, which wounded two other officers and a bystander. The explosion was the latest in a series of incidents apparently targeting Egypt’s Coptic Christian population, occurring the day before Orthodox Christmas eve….

Separately, between late December and early January, authorities forcefully shut down four more churches in Egypt after angry Muslim mobs rioted in protest of their existence. In one instance, on Friday, January 11, over one thousand Muslims surrounded and demanded the instant closure of St. George Church in Minya. Not only did authorities comply but they evicted the two priests who were holed up inside the church and hauled them off in a vehicle used for garbage, prompting “an elated response from a jubilating, gloating mob,” which included triumphant cries of “Allahu Akbar”(Allah is greater; a brief video of the mob can be seen here.) Police “ behaved with the priests as they would with killers,” one human rights lawyer said. “What happened frightened us,” added another clergyman. “I am a priest and it is possible for the police to cuff me if the extremist neighboring Muslims protest or gathered in front of my church. Things are getting worse, but let us pray to make God keep us in peace.” The local Coptic Christian bishopric said in a statement,

This is not the first time a place used for worship by Copts in Minya is closed. The common factor among all closures, however, is that they were done to appease fundamentalists and extremists to the detriment of the Copts. It appears to indicate that extremists now hold the upper hand, and appeasing them is the easy way out of problems…. This comes in the wake of declarations by the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb in favour of churches, also positive talk and actions by President Abdel-Fattah a-Sisi that every Egyptian has the right to practise his or her religion of choice, and to Pope Tawadros’s efforts on that front.

A January 15 report discussing this attack computes that, “In total, Egyptian authorities have closed four churches within the last four and a half weeks. No formal procedures against the attackers of these churches have begun.”

Cameroon: Muslim militants invaded and ransacked two Christian villages in the middle of the night of January 24. They destroyed 190 homes, plundered and desecrated four churches, set a Christian hospital on fire, and killed livestock. “Is it really human beings who are doing this?” a local eyewitness was later quoted as saying. According to the report,

The attack on Gochi and Toufou [the Christian villages] is the fourth by militants in two weeks. In the previous attacks three people were killed and churches and homes were damaged or destroyed…. Christian villages in the far north of Cameroon are subject to attacks by Boko Haram Islamist militias [as] they attempt to establish an Islamic caliphate from north-eastern Nigeria all the way to northern Cameroon, which is where most Cameroonian Muslims live in what is a predominantly Christian country.

Nigeria: Militant Muslims have destroyed a total of 1,125 churches belonging to one Christian denomination alone, the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, which is primarily based in the Muslim majority northeast of the nation, a January 23 report found. The President of the denomination, Rev. Joel Billi continues making appeals for the local Muslim majority government to expedite the rebuilding of these places of worship: “Why are we flagrantly neglected as if we deserve to be punished? If not for the inadequacy of our security forces and political undertone, Boko Haram would not have overrun us. So, why do we pay for the sin that was not committed by us?”

Ghana: Irate and machete wielding Muslim youth vandalized a church after its pastor predicted that the Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharunutu would die this year. Afterwards they made a video giving the pastor an ultimatum to withdraw his prophecy or else: “We’re warning you,” said the group leader. “You have only 24 hours to capture yourself in a video to apologise to all Muslims. Don’t bring your fake prophecies on the Muslims or our Chief Imam. If you don’t apologise, we’ll drink your blood.”

Indonesia:A Muslim mob stormed a house church meeting on Sunday, January 13, in the North Sumatran capital of Medan. Video footage shows a loud and angry throng led by men wearing Muslim skullcaps and women in hijabs surrounding a pastor’s residence, which had allegedly been converted into a place of worship for use by the Bethel Indonesia Church congregation. The mob shouted at and shoved Christians in attendance before forcing the service to a close. “We didn’t do things that were prohibited,” wrote one church member on Instagram. “We only wanted to pray, but why was our church attacked this morning? Where is justice in this country? Where is our religious tolerance? God is with us.” Due to this and similar incidents, Christians are increasingly “feel[ing] intimidated to worship in their own country,” the report notes, before adding that:

members of the congregation claim that they have obtained some permits for the building to function as a house of worship but are still missing some documents, which they say have been difficult to obtain from government officials, especially during the recent holiday period. In September, authorities in the East Sumatran city of Jambi sealed three churches, which had been used as places of worship for over a decade, because they lacked official permits. An administrator at one of the churches said they were given no warning prior to the closure and that he suspected the churches were shut due to pressure from certain groups who threatened to protest if they remained open. Officials from one of the churches said their attempts to obtain the proper permits had proven difficult as government officials [in the Muslim majority nation] always denied them.

Algeria: After authorities shut down their church, a 300-strong Christian congregation began to meet and worship in a tent—only to be forced out of and ordered to dismantle it as well on January 28. The tent was erected on the grounds of Azaghar Church, allowing the congregation to continue worshipping following the forced closure of their church on spurious “health and safety” reasons. According to one report,

The church … lost the use of its building in October 2018, despite the congregation responding to requests to install fire exits and fire extinguishers. While conversion from Islam is not a criminal offence in Algeria, those who witness to Muslims potentially face a five-year jail sentence. The officially recognised church had been open for five years and is a powerful ministry to local Muslims. …. A number of churches have been shut down since the start of 2018, either for alleged breaches of health and safety, or because authorities claim they are not properly registered.

And Ibrahim collects reports of many other forms of Muslim persecution of Christians as well.

So what is currently happening in Western Europe — for example, in France, vandalism against an average of 2 churches a day, and similar in Germany now — is nothing new, and it will get worse as the Muslim population grows. This is what happens wherever there are large numbers of Muslims — other religious groups start to be targeted. That is simply part of core Islamic doctrine. To know what happens to churches around Muslims, one need only go through Ibrahim’s carefully compiled reports from around the globe, month after month.

Important to know also that vandalism against churches is the least of what happens to Christians where Muslims are the majority. Again, the vicious persecution and debasement is a result of Muhammad’s teachings in the core Islamic texts, Qur’an, Hadith, Sira. This does not mean all Muslims do this. Many are innocent. But many are not, and the guilty ones lead Islam and dominate it because the core texts are on their side.

The truth doesn’t matter anymore in this war of information: The reprehensible establishment propaganda machine pigs at NBC are shameless and unabashed in their diabolically deliberate disinformation campaign to distract, deceive, censor and shield people from seeing the truth about what’s going on.

Just as people in the West are not informed of these incidents by the media at all, they will not be informed of any findings on the cathedral fire… at least not until the smoke is gone, the dust is settled, the ashes are swept out, the rage has stopped simmering, and people have moved on with their lives to other concerns. Declare it an accident, no questions asked, then immediately begin suppresssing any new evidence that comes to light as well as debate and discussion about it– this is the establishment’s modus operandi on every potential jihad incident that occurs.

Mac666ron, Frau Merkel, Frans Timmermans and their elitist, unelected, EU-UN elitist, Kalergian globalist New World Order co-conspirators will suppress any enlightening information and selectively report only the stories, statistics and opinion pieces that fit and work to build their transgressive utopian narrative; one in which muslims and third world muslim migrants only have peaceful intentions and warm sentiments toward the citizens of their Western host countries, and that anyone who says otherwise is a racist, far-right, bigot and worse.. a (white) nationalist purveyor of conspiracy theories, or maybe even a “nazi”.

A former chief architect and general inspector of French historical monuments has cast doubts on the official narrative that the Notre Dame fire was likely an electrical short that set the iconic cathedral ablaze.

Benjamin Mouton, who served as Chief Architect of Historic Monuments in France and oversaw restoration work of Notre Dame until 2013, says that it is highly unlikely an electrical short circuit took place, and that it would take an extraordinary effort to ignite the ancient oak of the cathedral.

      “PERSECUTION France silent about 2K church attacks over 2 yrs.Thursday, April 18, 2019 | Michael F. Haverluck (OneNewsNow.com)

French soldiers after Paris attack. In the wake of the colossal fire destroying a significant part of the 850-year-old Notre Dame Cathedral, many French authorities consider the blaze an accident – despite the fact that there has been a major surge of incidents where churches have been destroyed or vandalized by hostile Muslims.

“Nearly 2,000 Christian houses of worship in France have been desecrated in the past two years, according to police, [while] in Germany, there were four such incidents in March,” WND announced. “Some French politicians have attributed the church desecrations – averaging more than two a day – to ‘militant secularism.’”

However, political correctness across the Atlantic has made reporting on Islamic attacks against Christian buildings and monuments taboo – and when Islamic adherents are exposed, their crimes are oftentimes excused.

“[In almost all attacks across Europe], authorities and media obfuscate the identity of the vandals,” Raymond Ibrahim, a senior fellow the Gatestone Institute pointed out. “In those rare instances when the Muslim – or ‘migrant’ – identity of the destroyers is leaked, the desecraters are then presented as suffering from mental health issues.”

A common fear to expose the attacks at face value has been endemic for some time, as European publications have stressed.

“Hardly anyone writes and speaks about the increasing attacks on Christian symbols,” Germany’s PI News explained in its analysis of church attacks – noting how authorities stop at nothing to keep from putting the blame on Muslim migrants. “There is an eloquent silence in both France and Germany about the scandal of the desecrations and the origin of the perpetrators.”

It has reportedly gotten so bad that local authorities where the attacks are staged risk serious consequences if they blame migrants for the crimes,”

“It is not the perpetrators who are in danger of being ostracized, but those who dare to associate the desecration of Christian symbols with immigrant imports,” the German website explained. “They are accused of hatred, hate speech and racism.”

But the numbers don’t lie, and there is no denying the fact that as the number of Muslim migrants has increased, so has the number of attacks on Christian monuments and houses of worship.

“Figures released by French police showed that 875 of France’s 42,258 churches were vandalized last year, [and] a further 129 churches reported thefts from the premises”

Last night, it was reported that a man was caught carrying two cans of gasoline into a cathedral in NYC.

      Apr 18, 2019 at 7:24 pm

This man, from NJ, but with a one-way ticket to Italy, had been a professor who was about to be fired from the university where he worked, was carrying the two cans, two lighters and some fire starter. He claimed he was taking a shortcut through St. Patrick’s because his care was out of gas. He was made to leave, but stopped outside. the PD questioned him, found that the car had gas, and he was arrested.

“On Monday, Lamparello had been arrested at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, New Jersey, after he refused to leave at closing time, NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism John Miller said.”

They don’t think he is connected to a terror group, or to the burning of Notre Dame. If he had managed to start a fire, would they have called it an accident? Not likely.

EU (and UK) politicians already ignore or dismiss without thorough (or with) investigation of common “gang rape” and other crimes and misdemeanors, and “hate” crimes (whatever those are), that might implicate the “religion” of islam or its followers. They have no political choice in the matter. Charles Martel is rolling over in his grave; his victory was for naught. On the other hand, the common proletariat has no idea of the extremes the “Political Powers” wield to achieve and retain that power. I would not say at this point that even the French Government is not on the table for this. But the prime suspect is islam. Every musselman in the World has wet dreams of destroying Notre Dame. Had they not wanted this so badly, they might have avoided being first in the “lineup” of perps. If I had a button in front of me that would launch a missile to take out the ka’bah, the temptation to push it would be irresistible.

    Absolutely outrageous!

I was APPALLED to hear “accident” as the initial flames were licking up on the roof. That was the very moment I caught a whiff of “cover up.”

Since when is it irresponsible to question authority?

I don’t know if this was jihad. I DO believe it was arson and suspect it was an inside job. I would *think* the wiring would be routinely inspected in a building that hosts some 13 million visitors annually.

I deeply resent the implication that questioning equates fanning conspiracy theories.

I believe this fire should be investigated by an independent body of professional pyrotechnic/arson experts. You know, those that don’t have a bone in this fight.

Oh and…..as I keep asking…..is anyone (publishing anything about) investigating or prosecuting any of the other 875 incidents? What about Sainte-Sulpice? Al-Jazeerah is already minimising that incident, which suggests to me that their sources aren’t convinced that every Muslim in Paris was innocent. But the mere nastiness of Islam itself or many of its followers does not persuade me that they committed this particular act. More in a separate thread.

There are three deadly jihad attacks every day of the year. An average of 50 people are massacred by Muslims every day in jihad attacks.

The church desecrations are sometimes seen on camera. I have seen many of these videos of bearded African or bearded dark-skinned men, some in Islamic dress caught vandalizing churches.

I believe the police are under-reporting the number of crimes commit by Muslims out of hatred against Christianity. Proving motive is not always easy.

Even when Muslims quote Koran verses, the police sometimes deny they know the motive. This undermines confidence in the police.

Statistics are not being collected objectively, but politically in a biased, slanted way to exculpate Islam as a motive.

Indeed, it might have been an accidentally derived fire
However, that said, if…. if, it was started by a muslim then the problem would then be paraded as that of the
effect upon all muslims, and how the Islamophobia might become a dreadful sequellae of this ‘lone’ mentallly ill immigrant. A commitee would be formed as to how to prevent unneeded islamophobic response against muslims who of course, would be the target of ‘hate’ and bigotry.
I don’t think they’ll allow themselves to find the cause, but perhaps I’m just too pessimistic.
In any event, there will be scores of muslims laughing about the fires burning non muslim houses of prayer, as they did in this event, as they do all too frequently, and this will be ignored again and again and again
as just so much an indication of too much freedom of speech, so…. the solution will be too control the freedom of speech.

Several things never fail in islam, and we see it every day here.

    1. Hate and terror from islam.
    2. Despite #1, all the claims about how it is so ‘tolerant,’ etc. and endless extolling of ‘virtues.’
    3. Any claims of guilt are automatically dismissed as ‘paranoia,’ or ‘conspiracy theories,’ which in their minds by default can’t possibly be true, as well as #4 below.
    4. Any negative regard for islam or warning of its dangers are looked at as ‘islamophobia,’ and a slew of rights are promptly denied which include the freedom of speech, reputation, employment, etc.
    5. Any criticism is swiftly met with the muslim’s well played victim card, whether they are guilty or not. However, criticism in the opposite direction is not scrutinized at all whether innocent or not, and if anything, is even applauded. In the end no criticism is tolerated by the powers of the establishment.

It is a well oiled double standard and the narrative has settled like cement in most people’s minds. Usually my comments reflect one of these items anyway…

History Burned to Ash: Muslims Rejoice as Notre Dame Burns
    by Justin O Smith

“Should that subduing talisman, the cross, be shattered the frenzied madness of the ancient warriors, that insane Berserk rage of which Nordic bards have spoken and sung so often, will once more burst into flame.” ~ Heinrich Heine 1834

Flames danced and leaped across the rooftop of Notre Dame Cathedral on April 15th 2019, and the world stood aghast and watched helplessly and somber from along the banks of the Seine River, singing hymns, weeping, embracing each other and praying. Onlookers gasped in horror, as they watched the fire ravage the 859 year old historic cathedral in catastrophic fashion, and they cried out as the 295 foot tall spire of this iconic symbol of Western Christendom plummeted and slid into the flames and centuries of history were burned to ash.

Nobody really knows what happened, although the major news sources were falling all over themselves to make certain not one single person was allowed to ask if there was an Islamic terrorism connection. Shepherd Smith and Neil Cavuto, Fox News hosts, both cut guests off for raising the question. They immediately called it “an accident” related to renovation work.

Well … as Notre Dame Cathedral burned, I couldn’t help but immediately think the Muslims had finally succeeded in bringing it down, especially since they have already tried so many times in the past, most recently in 2016. There was even an apparent Muslim seen on the scaffolding near where the fire started not long before it started. And that’s what makes Shepherd Smith’s refusal to even listen to one of his guest’s comments regarding the arson of hundreds of churches in France so maddening.

Phillipe Karsenty began, “For the past years, we’ve had churches desecrated each and every week all over France.”

Smith immediately reprimanded, “Sir, sir, sir, we’re not going to speculate of the cause of something that we don’t know! If You have observations or you know something, we would love to hear it.” When Karsenty tried to respond, Smith ended the entire interview.

Wasn’t Karsenty’s statement on the desecration of Christian churches in France an “observation” and a statement based on “[knowing] something”?

The scaffold was the first time in ages that any access was available to the roof area and its 5,000 oak timbers. I can’t say for sure it was a Muslim who committed arson, or even that it was arson, but to immediately dismiss arson and call it an accident before ANY investigation whatsoever has been fully conducted and completed is the height of sheer idiocy and weepy liberal foolery and cowardice.

To so casually dismiss any suggestion of Islamic terrorism, when April 15th is the date that Mohammed started compiling the Koran and coincides with many other Islamic historic events — not to mention the Boston Bombing – is a slap in the face of all Frenchmen and the entire Christian world, especially in light of the fact, that according to Raymond Ibrahim and Judith Freidman of the Gatestone Institute, 1,063 attacks on Christian churches, statues and crucifixes were registered in France in 2018, and 878 similar attacks were registered in 2017. Muslim terrorist attacks on Christians in France rose by 38 percent between 2015 and 2016, from 273 attacks to 376 attacks against churches and other places of worship.

On April 2nd, The Washington Post reported: “Among attacks on churches in February, a cross of human excrement was found in the southern city of Nimes, a statue of Mary was smashed in a Paris suburb and a statue of Jesus was decapitated …“.

On March 17th, Saint-Sulpice, the second largest church in France erupted in flames, and the police determined it was arson, no accident. The fire damaged doors and stained glass windows on Saint-Sulpice’s exterior. And St. Sulpice was just one of a dozen such desecrated churches over one seven day stretch in March, in egregious acts of anti-Christian vandalism and arson.

The cause of the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral may be found later, depending on how much effort the authorities actually exert; however, the significance of its eruption on the first day of Holy Week has not gone unnoticed. If this fire was purposefully set, the arsonist picked the perfect time. The results are devastating and will be long-lasting.

However, the leaders of France, especially Prime Minister Macron, have become such cowards and so politically correct that they would prefer allowing the Islamic terrorists a few successes here and there, such as the scores of Muslim “no go zones” across France. The French government bends over at the waist to keep from pouring oil on the fire of Muslim rage, so the obvious truth regarding anti-Christian furor and its Islamic origin is permanently and intentionally obscured. The Muslim miscreants are not properly scrutinized, and yet those who dare to associate the desecration of Christian symbols to these Muslims are ostracized, de-platformed and accused of racism, hatred and hate speech.

The Church and Christianity are under attack from every part of the Western secular humanist, atheistic and Islamic world one wants to mention. Far too many seek to maliciously portray Christianity as bigoted, close-minded and hard-hearted, but it is far from any such thing. Christianity has facilitated and inspired the most beautiful works of art in history, and it encouraged freedom and science, after the Reformation. Christianity has been the epitome of self-sacrifice, charity and love of man and God across the ages.

During a period when most people of France were illiterate the beautiful wall carvings and stained glass of Notre Dame Cathedral, now so badly damaged, taught the lessons of the Bible and reinforced the doctrines that are the foundations of the Christian faith. The craftsmanship and artistry of the Cathedral instructed the people and instilled them with a spirit-filled and holy awe and wonder.

Hot righteous anger coursed through my entire body, as I saw videos of men of Arabic ethnicity, obviously Muslims, smiling and laughing as Notre Dame burned. The Muslims lit up social media with comments like “Allah est Grand” and “It’s time to say good-bye to your oratory polytheism” – referencing Christian belief in the Trinity. Not one person nor millions of contrarians will ever convince me that Muslims want to assimilate and coexist with the people of Western Civilization. They hate us and they arrive as invaders, and that’s why they laugh, rejoice and celebrate at each tragedy that befalls us or each act of terror that one of their brethren – dastardly anti-American, anti- West, anti-Christian and Jew Sons of Allah successfully carry out; tell me again about all the “good” Muslims, and I’ll tell you there aren’t any and call “bullshit”.

If this doesn’t convince the majority of Americans to halt all Muslim immigration into America, especially after 9/11, the Boston Bombing and all the evil Islam brings with it, I don’t know what will. Perhaps America too will fall the way of Europe.

The French, and most of Europe too, have allowed Islam, antithetical to Western principles, to infiltrate their culture, infrastructure and government, as they also destroy their own liberty through communism too, another ideology opposed to Western principles. Having long abandoned distinct Christian virtues to the immoral and intellectually dishonest multiculturalism nonsense, they assumed the Muslims too would embrace tolerance of others and a multicultural society, however, in their arrogance, oh how they were wrong. As I write this, the Islamists around the globe seek the end of France, Christianity and the West.

Notre Dame Cathedral is a world treasure and a crown jewel of Christianity that has been much loved and revered by millions, since its completion in 1345 A.D. It has served in countless celebrations and processions proclaiming the glory of God to all of France. It survived the French Revolution and attempts to melt its tower’s bells. It’s the site of Napoleon’s coronation as emperor. It survived two world wars with little damage, and it’s where General Charles de Gaulle attended mass amid rifle fire to give thanks for the liberation of Paris in 1944.

Built over a pagan temple, Notre Dame Cathedral was the work of generations and spanned two hundred years, during which its craftsmen and laborers beat considerable architectural and logistic challenges. Thousands of tons of stone was cut by small armies of stone cutters and was transported from outside of Paris, one cart at a time, while its tall ceilings and walls were supported by the architectural innovations of the rib vault and flying butress.

Communism, socialism, nihilism and Islam have all targeted Notre Dame Cathedral over the centuries, and what they couldn’t achieve, a yet to be explained brief moment brought much of it tumbling down, whether it was Islamic arson or the Hand of God Himself.

French President Emmanuel Macron exclaimed: “Notre Dame is aflame … Great emotion for the whole nation. Our thoughts go out to all Catholics and to the French people. Like my fellow citizens, I am sad to see this part of us burn tonight.”

Night fell in Paris and the fire roared on, moving the crowds of the Faithful to come together in their heartbreak and disbelief, raising their voices in a chorus of “Ave Maria”, that rose above the flames. The poignant images were shared millions of times across social media networks by that Monday evening, with many calling the scene in Paris both “powerful” and “moving”.

In less than nine hours, we saw fifty-two acres of oak timbers consumed by the flames, as Priests rushed to save the many pieces of priceless artwork and statues and the Cathedral’s treasury, and we saw nearly 500 firefighters fight to save the Two Towers and the stained glass windows that depicted stories from the Bible and the doctrinal truth associated with them. The flames did their work all too well; and in the process, the inferno took the heart of France and much of the world.

“…Righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless … Fear not, for thy prayer is heard” [from Luke 1]

Fortunately, the relic of the Crown of Thorns was saved, and this alone is a mercy to celebrate, even as we weep for what has been lost.

Thank you! IMHO the real story…..which is not news…..is the sheer nastiness of both Islam and so many of its believers. Hey folks it’s a long post and every line is worth reading. IMHO and all.

I wonder if this talk about “white nationalism” leads in the future for condemning of “black nationalism”, “red nationalism”, “yellow nationalism” and “brown nationalism”. I understand that “white nationalism” refers in most people minds to Nazi ideology, and is therefore negative expression and profoundly racist because, you know, “white nation”, but when applied like these media pundits do it, it means also opposition to multiculturalism.

The enemedia’s real job is to ask all the wrong questions, so their masters and owners won’t have to answer any of the right ones! Oh, and the obverse, too, obviously: to virtue-signal and shame those of us who dare to use our brains’ rationality and logic capabilities to detect and discriminate patterns, as hateful racist bigots.

People would have to be mentally deficient to not suspect moslem arson in this disaster at Notre Dame Cathedral. It’s ludicrous that any reasonable possibilities are censored in an investigation.

The 2015 fire on roof at Notre Dame was same cause but they put it out in time. as they used torches to melt tar to seal the roofing, the current restoration removed most of the artifacts in case the restoration sparked another fire, the structure of stone is completely intact, and it will now be easier to upgrade to a new fireproof copper roof that can be antiqued to look nearly identical. The Notre Dame is solid stone, with ancient wood roof, heat rises, and the stone was barely scorched by falling embers…
    Example:

We inherited an old stone house called the 6 sided house shaped like a Hexagon, the 1820’s farm structure’s roof was rotted, we deliberately burned the roof so the stone gingerbread was saved.
This spared us from pulling the rotted beams which are mortared below the ornate stone trim .
We then used muriatic acid and pressure sprayers to clean the stone. Picked out the charred joist stubs carefully without cracking the ornate stone.
We started reroofing 3 days later, a real time and expense saver when compared to wrecking out the old roof…which would have taken weeks.

Here’s what we know so far:

    1. Islam is evil
    2. Muslims are evil and those that say they are not are using Taqqiya
    3. 800 Churches have been destroyed so far by Muslims in France, thousands more across Europe.
    4. The media is protecting Muslims and hiding the truth about this. The politicians and law enforcement are in on it as well.
    5. Any bad thing which is reported as NOT involving Muslim is likely part of the cover up. It needs to be assumed that Muslims are responsible ESPECIALLY is Muslims are not reported as responsible.
    6. The burning of this cathedral is a bad thing and thus was done by Muslim construction workers whose only purpose in actually doing productive work was to destroy this building in line with their evil religion.
    7. Anyone who dares suggest that we must seek evidence
    8. The only “evidence” we will accept is that which confirms that Muslims are responsible. Any rumour or info from someone’s cousin who hear his friend say it was Muslims because he saw it on the internet is solid research.
    9. Lebel is a leftist demoncrat collaborator or a disgusting taqqiya using Muslim. He is likely both, like Obama.
    10. Lebel has yet to condemn this atrocity, but then again why would he?
    11. Of course if he does condemn it, we know this to be sweet, sweet, delicious taqqiya to fool the naive infidels.
    12. Muslims are evil
    13. Islam is evil

          Apr 19, 2019 at 3:46 pm

Ashley, I wasn’t poking him very hard. I’d just like to know more about where he’s coming from. Why does he think that the possibility of the Notre Dame fire being done by Muslims should be ruled out? Does he think it was spontaneous combustion or a spark from faulty wiring? Could it have been some Antifa radicals or neo-nazis thugs or a disgruntled Catholic who was molested as a young altar boy or just some lunatic like the mad killer at the mosque in New Zealand? Could all those possibilities combined together be the reasons for the hundreds of church fires in France lately? What does he suggest be done to keep churches from being vandalized or burning down? Is have firemen sleep in churches a serious response? And, if disgust with religion in general is on the rise, why is the number of churches being damaged going up as the number of mosques also goes up with little or no damage being done to mosques?

As for which branch of Islam he follows, I’m just curious as to whether he is an Ahmadi. Also, he sometimes brings up things that make me think harder. I hope he responds and I’m willing to believe he is telling the truth.

Thanks for the wish for a happy Good Friday although it’s not really a day of happy thoughts for me. The day of happiness comes on Easter Sunday. So, I hope that you and all who read this have a happy Easter Sunday. 🙂

          Talk to you later.

Actually, you didn’t poke him at all…more like a tickle.

I don’t know where lebel is coming from, CES. I know he (assuming lebel is a “he”) takes serious issue with this forum. And yet I don’t think he’s an adherent to Islam.

Hey…remember this? You and I were posing the same questions. It is actually when lebel registered on my radar when he piped in.

What a lot of ugly twaddle from lebel.

No one has claimed that Muslims have destroyed 800 churches France–just that there has been an explosion of church desecrations in France, and it is a fact that some of those caught have indeed been Muslim.

Then note his sneering at the idea that the burning of this cathedral is a bad thing

    • Ashley says

      Apr 19, 2019 at 3:03 pm

I can only speak for myself, lebel.

I DO believe this was arson ONLY because the authorities rushed to claim it an accident while the cathedral was fully engulfed. The haste in making such a declaration was outrageous to me as the cause of the fire remains unknown to the public.

I don’t know if this was jihad, lebel. These weren’t just “construction workers.” They were highly trained artisans that specialized in the unique field of cathedral restoration. I seriously doubt one of these specialists that were likely known to the cathedral administators would deliberately set it afire.

Of the 800+ church desecrations in France I believe only a couple can be directly linked to Muslims. A white racist punk torched three churches with predominately black congregations in Louisiana recently. And the moron was the son of a law enforcement official.

I highly respect the opinions of Robert Spencer, GI, Wellington and others here. But I don’t necessarily agree on all their points. Yes, Robert can trot out some rather sensational headlines that later prove to be erroneous.

I don’t like the Qur’an, lebel. I don’t like Sharia. I don’t like violent jihad. I don’t like FGM. I don’t like stoning accused gays, adulterers, etc. I don’t like rape or pedophilia. I don’t like child marriage. I don’t like the sermons delivered in many of the mosques. I don’t like wife beating. I don’t like beheadings. In short, I don’t like 99.9% of the teachings commanded by Islamic texts.

I think you are an intelligent and articulate individual. You clearly discredit this site with a very wide brush stroke. I like that you challenge and I don’t believe you should be attacked for doing so, but I have no control over the matter. I find you generally civil and provocative in your arguments.

So yeah, lebel. I think Islam IS evil. But I don’t think you should be silenced.

All I know about lebel is what I posted elsewhere: he has a huge knack for making a tenable argument unattractive. Oh and he posts here, I know that, I don’t know what to infer from that. I guess he challenges us to see his arguments behind the, well, challenging presentation.

Yeah. Turkey claims no such thing ever happened to Armenians or Assyrians or Greeks or anyone else. Lyin’ lemmings. Oh and Erdogan said Turks couldn’t have done this because Turks are Muslims and Muslims don’t do genocides. Got that? And if you say different in Turkey you get prosecuted.
